Abstract

For the purpose of further increasing the accident safety of an interior door panel (10), with a receiving space (25) having a front (30), a side surface (35) and a bottom (40) attached to a base support (15), it is provided that at least one retaining tab (50) covering at least part of the receiving space (25) is located on at least one section of the side surface (35), which is designed to hold the side surface (35) in the event of its accident-related detachment.

[0001] The present invention relates to an interior door panel for a motor vehicle with a receiving compartment security device according to claim 1 and to a motor vehicle equipped therewith according to claim 4.
