Driverless transport vehicle for handling a load

Abstract

A driverless transport vehicle (1) for handling a load, in particular for transporting pallets, comprising: a vehicle unit (2) with an omnidirectional drive (21), a first side section (A) and a second side section (B) opposite the first side section (A); a first arm unit (3a) arranged on the first side section (A) and a second arm unit (3b) arranged on the second side section (B); a load receiving unit (4) arranged in a centered position between the first arm unit (3a) and the second arm unit (3b); and a longitudinal adjustment unit (5) configured such that the load receiving unit (4) is controllably displaceable in a longitudinal direction L relative to the vehicle unit (2);wherein the longitudinal adjustment unit (5) is arranged such that the load receiving unit (4) can be steerably displaced in the longitudinal direction L to a receiving position in which the load receiving unit (4) projects at least section by section in the longitudinal direction L over the first arm unit (3a) and the second arm unit (3b).
