Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a DIN-compliant beaker. The method involves applying a scale, preferably by screen printing, to a glass container which has a radially outwardly projecting spout at its upper edge. The scale has several horizontal marking lines, the uppermost marking line indicating the nominal capacity of the beaker.
