Claims

[1] A vehicle power source device comprising: a battery that can supply energy to a vehicle's traction motor via a high-voltage line; a battery monitoring section comprising an integrated circuit connected to the high-voltage line, detecting the voltage of the battery between terminals, and powered by a low-voltage power supply as a power source; a battery housing that houses both the battery and the battery monitoring section; a vehicle ground connection portion electrically connected to the vehicle ground; and a connecting line, whereby the integrated circuit is electrically connected to the vehicle ground connection section via the connecting line. [2] The vehicle drive source device according to claim 1, wherein the vehicle ground connection section comprises a low-voltage connector containing a ground terminal electrically connected to the vehicle ground, and the integrated circuit is electrically connected to the ground terminal via the connecting line. [3] The vehicle drive source device according to claim 2, wherein the low-voltage plug is electrically connected to the low-voltage power supply. [4] The vehicle power source device according to claim 3, wherein the low-voltage connector is arranged outside the battery case. [5] The vehicle drive source device according to claim 2, wherein the battery monitoring section comprises a second low-voltage connector containing a second ground terminal, the integrated circuit is electrically connected to the second ground terminal via the connecting line, and the second ground terminal is electrically connected to the ground terminal via a second low-voltage line.
