Abstract

A method for producing at least one copper foil (100) for battery cells is proposed. The method comprises the following steps: • (S1) generating a copper electrolyte solution (10) based on an acid (11) and copper powder (12), • (S2) partially immersing a rotating drum (13) in the copper electrolyte solution (10), and • (S3) applying an electrical voltage (U) to the copper electrolyte solution (10) and the rotating drum (13) to deposit copper from the copper electrolyte solution (10) onto the rotating drum (13). The copper powder (12) is obtained by atomizing a liquid copper material.
