Abstract

Model receiving body (1) for mounting a jaw model (2) in an articulator (3), wherein the model receiving body (1) has a first side (4) for mounting the jaw model (2) and a second side (5) opposite the first side (4), wherein the model receiving body (1) has several support ribs (6) for the jaw model (2) and a fastening device (7) for magnetically attaching the model receiving body (1) to the articulator (3) or to an adapter plate (8), wherein open spaces (9) are formed in the model receiving body (1) between the support ribs (6) towards the first side, and the support ribs (6) have bearing surfaces (10) for supporting the jaw model (2) in a first direction (11) pointing away from the second side (5), wherein the model receiving body (2) has at least two, preferably three,The jaw model (2) has position-locking pins (12) arranged at a distance from each other and projecting in the first direction (11) beyond the bearing surfaces (10) for aligning the jaw model (2) in two directions (13, 14) that are orthogonal to the first direction (11) and also to each other.
