[1] Clamp, encompassing: a counter-section (10) for interlocking with a counter-clamp, the counter-section comprising an upper wall (11) and a lower wall (12) opposite it in a vertical direction (Z), and a pair of side walls (13) opposite it in a transverse direction (X); and a guide plate (14) which is connected to one side of the upper wall (11) and extends in a longitudinal direction (Y) of the opposite section (10) to guide the insertion of the terminal (1) into a terminal insertion hole (301) of a connector (3) in a correct orientation; wherein a stepped section (10a) which is configured to abut a secondary locking mechanism (4) of a connector is formed at a rear end of the counterpart section (10) so that the terminal (1) can be locked in the terminal insertion hole (301) by the secondary locking mechanism (4), and wherein the guide plate (14) is arranged above and perpendicular to the upper wall (11), a rear end of a side wall (13) on one side of the upper wall (11) engages with a rear end of the guide plate (14) and / or a rear end of the upper wall (11) to increase the structural strength of the rear end of the counter section (10).
