Abstract

The present invention relates to a rotating trimming element for shortening and / or cutting plants, comprising a rod-shaped holder, a rotating element, and an innovative trimming and cutting element. The cutting element is designed as a flexible, fabric-reinforced tube that, due to centrifugal force, moves horizontally into the plant. The revolutionary innovation lies in the reversible adjustability of the cutting length during operation. The tube has a hollow inner diameter of 2 to 30 millimeters and is reversibly bendable, allowing it to yield upon contact with an obstacle without being damaged. The length adjustment is achieved via various mechanisms such as telescopic, winding, or clamping systems. Compared to conventional solutions, the system offers significant advantages in terms of flexibility, durability, safety, and environmental compatibility.
