Abstract

A can lid having a resealable drinking opening comprises a lid surface in which an opening area is formed, a sealing frame enclosing the opening area, a closing unit which is pivotably connected to the lid surface or to the sealing frame by means of a first joint about a first pivot axis, and a pull handle for opening the closing unit which is pivotably connected to the closing unit by means of a second joint about a second pivot axis, wherein the first joint and the second joint are arranged in opposite areas of the closing unit and wherein the second pivot axis defines an upward pivot plane for the pull handle from a first position pivoted towards the closing unit to a second position projecting upwards from the closing unit.wherein the pivoting plane extends perpendicular to the second pivoting axis and to the metallic cover surface, and wherein the first pivoting axis runs obliquely to the pivoting plane.
