The technology is based on the interaction of three components.These are: a mobile transmitting device (2) of a first user (4) with a transmitting unit (6) in the form of a BLE beacon for transmitting an identification tag (101); user-specific information (104) linked to the identification tag (101), for example, a user profile of the first user (4); and a receiving device (3) of a second user (5), preferably a smartphone, with a receiving unit (7) configured to receive the identification tag (101) transmitted by the mobile transmitting device (2), which receiving device (3) is configured to obtain the user-specific information (104) linked to the received identification tag (101) and output it to the second user (5), wherein this functionality of the receiving device (3) is preferably provided by a suitably programmed smartphone app (8).
