Abstract

A transmission device 200 includes a detection unit 231, which, when a vehicle has come to a stop due to the occurrence of an anomaly in a driver of the vehicle traveling on a roadway, i) detects behavior information indicating the behavior of the vehicle during a period from the occurrence of the anomaly in the driver until the time the vehicle came to a stop, and ii) detects a stopping position of the vehicle on the roadway, a determination unit 232, which determines whether the stopping position is contained in a lane on the roadway or not, and a transmission unit 233, which, if the stopping position is contained in the lane, transmits information indicating the anomaly of the driver and containing the stopping position and the behavior information to an external device.
