Abstract

The present invention discloses a connector, an electrical connection arrangement, a connector, and a connector assembly. The connector comprises: a connector body (1) in the form of a plate with a front and a rear end that are longitudinally opposite each other; and a contact piece (2) that is designed as a U-shaped clamp and is placed on and clamped onto the front end of the connector body (1). The contact piece (2) comprises: an upper elastic part (21) that is supported on the top surface of the front end of the connector body (1); a lower elastic part (22) that is supported on the bottom surface of the front end of the connector body (1); and a connecting part (23) that is connected between one end of the upper elastic part (21) and the lower elastic part (22) and is attached to the connector body (1).When the front end of the connector (100) is inserted between a top plate (31) and a bottom plate (32) of a mating connector (3), the upper elastic part (21) and the lower elastic part (22) establish electrical contact with the top plate (31) and the bottom plate (32) of the mating connector (3) to electrically connect the connector (100) and the mating connector (3). In the present invention, the contact element can be conveniently attached to the front end of the connector body, which improves production efficiency and reduces manufacturing costs.
