COLLABORATIVE NAVIGATION

Abstract

A multitude of routes from a starting point to a destination are received from each of a multitude of navigation applications, executed by one or more controllers and / or by one or more mobile devices communicating with the vehicle via at least one connectivity interface. A recommended route is identified from each of the multitude of navigation applications to define a set of recommended routes. The recommended routes are aggregated to determine discrepancies between them. If the recommended routes match, they are used as an optimized route for the vehicle. If the recommended routes do not match, the discrepancies are visualized on the vehicle's human-machine interface (HMI).
