Abstract
Description
Technical FieldThe present disclosure relates to an air conditioner outdoor unit including an electric component unit.Prior ArtThere has been disclosed a conventional outdoor unit of an air conditioner including an electric component unit whose outer portion is surrounded by a steel plate inside a case (see, for example, Patent Literature 1). The electronic component unit of Patent Literature 1 includes a steel-coated accommodation box in which an electronic component-equipped substrate / support plate is accommodated, a steel-coated lid, and a resin frame / resin frame placed between the accommodation box and the lid. Further, since a mounting surface of the substrate on which the electrical components are mounted has protruding and recessed shapes formed by the electrical components, a radiation component, or other components, the accommodation box placed near the mounting surface of the substrate on which the electrical components are mounted is formed by a plurality of components (namely, a first accommodation box and a second accommodation box). This is because, when the accommodation box is formed by a single component, it ends with a poor material layout when considering the size of the component. Moreover, the first accommodation box and the second accommodation box differ in height from each other, and mounting them to a frame causes spaces different in height from each other to be formed inside the accommodation box, so that the mounting surface of the substrate on which the electrical components are mounted can be placed in these spaces.List of CitationsPatent LiteraturePatent Literature 1: Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2011-163 673Brief Description of the InventionTechnical ProblemHowever, the electric component unit of Patent Literature 1 undesirably requires the first accommodation box and the second accommodation box to be mechanically fastened by screws to be mounted on the frame, and thus causes an increase in manufacturing cost. The present disclosure has been made to solve such problems, and has an object of providing an air conditioner outdoor unit that enables to reduce the manufacturing cost of an electric component unit.Solution of the ProblemAn air conditioner outdoor unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a housing forming an outer shell, includes a separator configured to partition an inner region of the housing into an air transmission device space in which an air transmission fan is provided and an engine space in which a compressor is provided, and includes an electric component unit fixed to an upper part of the separator. The electronic component unit includes a control board including a plurality of electronic components and a radiating component, the plurality of electronic components being placed on a mounting surface, the radiating component having a plate-shaped portion and a plurality of ribs, the plate-shaped portion being attached to a sub-group of electronic components of the plurality of electronic components and covering the sub-group of electronic components, the plurality of ribs extending from the plate-shaped portion in a direction away from the mounting surface, includes a control board supporting component attached to the control board and supporting a peripheral edge portion of the control board, and includes a radiating portion protecting component and a partition wall portion protecting component both made of metal attached to the control board supporting component from a mounting surface side of the control board and covering the control board supporting component. The control board supporting component includes a slit peripheral edge portion provided at a peripheral edge of a slit through which the plurality of ribs pass and covering the plate-shaped portion of the radiating component, a partition wall portion extending in a direction that is the same as the direction in which the plurality of ribs extend and that partitions the inner region of the housing together with the separator into the air transmission device space and the machine space, and a side wall portion provided with a pair of first claw portions and a pair of second claw portions and surrounding the peripheral edge portion of the control board. The radiating portion protection component includes a first protection portion provided at a peripheral edge of a slot through which the plurality of ribs are passed and covering a surface of the slot peripheral edge portion, includes a first side wall portion provided with a pair of first openings into which the pair of first claw portions are fitted, and includes a protruding portion provided at an end portion of the first protection portion that is near the partition wall portion and that extends in a direction that is the same as the direction in which the plurality of ribs extend. The partition wall portion protection component includes a second protection portion that extends in a direction that is the same as the direction in which the plurality of ribs extend, that covers a surface of the partition wall portion, and that is provided with a pair of insertion portions into which corner portions of the protruding portion of the radiation portion protection component are inserted, and includes a second side wall portion that is provided with a pair of second openings into which the pair of second claw portions are fitted.Advantageous Effects of the InventionThe air conditioner outdoor unit according to the embodiment of the present disclosure is configured such that the radiation portion protection component and the partition wall portion protection component made of metal do not need to be mechanically fastened by screws to be mounted on the control board support component of the electric component unit, thereby making it possible to reduce the manufacturing cost of the electric component unit.Brief Description of the DrawingsFIG. 1 is a perspective view of an air conditioner outdoor unit according to an embodiment. As shown in FIGS. 9 to 11, the second protection portion 241 has a pair of insertion portions 243 provided in its front and back sides. Each of the insertion portions 243 is formed by a protrusion portion 244 provided by a part of the second protection portion 241 protruding toward a surface (i.e., a surface facing the machine room 3) and having a gap into which the protrusion portion 233 is inserted by a dimension of the plate thickness, and a slit portion 245 formed by notching an upper part and an inner side part of the protrusion portion 244.
