CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] This application claims priority to Japanese Patent Application No. 2022-201160, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. TECHNICAL FIELD

[0002] The present invention relates to a handwork image capturing apparatus for capturing an image of a worker's handwork. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] An image pickup kit described in Patent Literature 1 is known as a conventional image pickup device for capturing an image of an object. The image pickup kit includes an image pickup box having a box shape in which an image pickup space is formed, and an object placement part on which an object is placed. The image pickup box includes a bottom plate, side plates, a top plate, and a reflector plate formed into a box shape, and is configured to block light entering the image pickup space through the image pickup box, except for the reflector plate. An image pickup hole communicating between the inside and outside of the image pickup space is formed in the top plate.

[0004] According to the image pickup kit as above, an image of the object can be captured through the image pickup hole of the top plate by placing the object on the object placement part to position the object in the image pickup space. According to this patent literature, the entry of external light into the image pickup space is limited, and thus, it is possible to efficiently receive external ambient light in the image pickup space through the reflector plate while preventing the reflection of reflected light and a photographer's shadow, allowing the object to be captured finely. [0009] An apparatus for capturing an image of a handicraft 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention and a method for generating a handicraft image will be described with reference to Fig. 1 to Fig. 10. For convenience, a vertical direction, a right-left direction, and a depth direction are described based on the directions in a state where the handicraft image capturing device 1 is installed.

[0010] The image pickup device 1 is, for example, a device for picking up the image of the worker's manual work performed in a work area S1, that is, a specific area of a manual work area such as a worktable D. Here, manual work means all the work performed by a worker using hands. The following description will be made, for example, based on the case where an image is drawn on a drawing medium (that is, a whiteboard B) having a drawing area B1 for drawing an image on the top thereof. The image pickup device 1 according to this embodiment is used for picking up an image from above (that is, bird's-eye view shooting).

[0011] As in Fig. 1, the image pickup device 1 comprises a box part 2 arranged on the work table D and lighting parts 6 arranged in the box part 2.

[0012] The box part 2 is a box-shaped body formed by a plurality of plate-shaped bodies combined with each other and having an opening on a proximal side. Specifically, the box part 2 includes a wall part 3 surrounding left and right sides (i.e., both lateral sides) and a depth side of the work area S1 and defining a work opening S2 on the proximal side that provides communication between the inside and outside of the work area S1, and a top plate 4 disposed on an upper part 3b of the wall part 3 and covering the work area S1. The box part 2 further includes an image pickup device installation part 5 on which an image pickup device 7 for capturing an image of the handwork is installed. The box part 2 of this embodiment has an inner surface and an outer surface both in non-glossy white color and is configured to prevent external light from entering the inside (ie, the work area S1) of the box part 2 while irregularly reflecting light emitted from the lighting parts 6 arranged in the box part 2 into the box part 2.

[0013] As in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the wall part 3 includes a pair of side walls 31 covering the left and right sides of the work area S1, a rear wall 32 covering the rear side of the work area S1, and coupling walls 33 for coupling the pair of side walls 31 and the rear wall 32. Each of the side walls 31, the rear wall 32, and the coupling walls 33 is a plate-shaped body and constitutes the wall part 3, with the adjacent plates coupled to each other. The wall part 3 has a substantially U-shape in plan view with the two lateral sides and the rear side closed and the front side open, and includes a bottom part 3a in contact with the work table D and the upper part 3b on which the upper plate 4 is installed. The wall part 3 has a length in the right-left direction that is longer than the depth, specifically, about 2 times longer than the depth.

[0014] As in Fig. As shown in Fig. 5, a plurality of upper plate installation cutouts 3c are formed in the plate-shaped body of the wall part 3 to extend downward from the upper part 3b. The downward length of the upper plate installation cutout 3c is substantially the same as the vertical length (i.e., thickness) of an upper plate attachment part 421 of an upper plate coupler 42, which will be described later. The upper plate installation cutouts 3c are located at the positions corresponding to the upper plate coupling parts 42 of the upper plate 4 to be mounted.

[0015] As in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the rear wall 32 is a substantially rectangular plate-shaped body having long sides and short sides and arranged to have a long side direction consistent with the right-left direction, a short side direction consistent with the vertical direction, and a thickness direction consistent with the depth direction.

[0016] The side wall 31 is a substantially rectangular plate-shaped body having long sides and short sides. A pair of side walls 31 are arranged opposite each other in the right-left direction. Each of the side walls 31 is arranged to have a long side direction that coincides with the depth direction, a short side direction that coincides with the vertical direction, and a thickness direction that coincides with the right-left direction.

[0017] As in Fig. 2, Fig. 3 and Fig. As shown in Fig. 7, the coupling wall 33 is a substantially rectangular plate-shaped body having long sides and short sides, and is disposed between the rear wall 32 and each of the side walls 31. Specifically, a pair of coupling walls 33 are provided. One coupling wall 33 is arranged to have a long side direction consistent with the vertical direction, one end in the short side direction coupled to a left end of the rear wall 32, and another end in the short side direction coupled to an end on the depth side of the side wall 31 located on the left side. The other coupling wall 33 is arranged to have a long side direction coincident with the vertical direction, one end in the short side direction coupled to a right end of the rear wall 32, and another end in the short side direction coupled to an end on the depth side of the side wall 31 arranged on the right side.

[0018] As in Fig. As shown in Fig. 7, a plurality of cutouts are formed in each of the coupling walls 33, extending therethrough in the thickness direction. Specifically, a lower cutout 33b is formed so as to extend upward from the bottom part 3a, and an upper cutout 33a is formed at a center part in the vertical direction in each of the coupling walls 33. In this embodiment, the lower cutouts 33b are formed at two positions away from each other in the short side direction of each of the coupling walls 33, and the upper cutout 33a is formed at a position between both of the lower cutouts 33b in the short side direction of each of the coupling walls 33.

[0019] As in Fig. 1, the adjacent panels in the wall part 3 are coupled by a band 34 which adheres to the inner surface and can be switched between an unfolded state 3A, as in Fig. 1, and a folded state 3B, as shown in Fig. 10. The tape 34 of this embodiment is a bookbinding tape having an adhesive surface arranged to face the inner surface of the wall part and a surface opposite to the adhesive surface formed in non-glossy white color. A manner for folding the wall part 3 will be described later. In the inner surface of the wall part 3 in the unfolded state 3A, an angle formed by the rear wall 32 and the coupling wall 33 and an angle formed by the coupling wall 33 and the side wall 31 are obtuse angles, specifically, 110 degrees or more and 170 degrees or less, preferably 115 degrees or more and 155 degrees or less. In the unfolded state 3A, the rear wall 32, the coupling walls 33, and the side walls 31 are arranged so that their inner surfaces are continuous with each other. The wall part 3 of this embodiment is provided with a cover member (not shown) for covering an outer surface of each of the coupled portions between the adjacent panels in the unfolded state 3A. The cover member is, for example, the same bookbinding tape as the tape 34, which has an adhesive surface arranged to face the outer surface of the wall part 3.

[0020] As in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the upper plate 4 includes an upper plate body 41 having a plate shape, upper plate couplers 42 for coupling the upper plate body 41 to the wall part 3, and a reinforcing part 43 for reinforcing the upper plate body 41. The upper plate 4 further includes an image pickup device installation part 5.

[0021] As in Fig. 2, the upper plate body 41 is a plate-shaped body disposed on the upper part 3b of the wall part 3 and covering the work area S1. Specifically, the upper plate body 41 is a plate-shaped body having an outer peripheral part in a shape corresponding to the upper part 3b of the wall part 3 and arranged to have a thickness direction consistent with the vertical direction. The upper plate body 41 includes supported pieces 41a supported by the wall part 3 from below, and an opening-side piece 41b defining the upper end of the work opening S2 in a state where it is disposed on the upper part 3b of the wall part 3. In this embodiment, the opening-side piece 41b is a piece on the front side of the upper plate body 41, and all side pieces except the opening-side piece 41b are the supported pieces 41a.

[0022] The reinforcement member 43 is a rod-shaped member that is stiffer than the upper plate body 41, and specifically, is a rod-shaped member made of metal formed into a linear shape and having a U-shape in cross section. The reinforcement member 43 is attached to the opening-side piece 41b to reinforce the opening-side piece 41b of the upper plate body 41. Specifically, the reinforcement member 43 is configured to extend continuously from the left end to the right end of the upper plate body 41 along the opening-side piece 41b while being fitted into the opening-side piece 41b to prevent the opening-side piece 41b from being deformed by the stiffness of the reinforcement member 43. In this embodiment, the reinforcing member 43 is attached only to the opening-side piece 41b of the upper plate body 41 and not to the supported pieces 41a.

[0023] As in Fig. As shown in Fig. 6(A), the upper plate coupler 42 is a member for fixing the upper plate body 41 to the upper part 3b of the wall part 3 by coupling. Specifically, the upper plate coupler 42 includes a plate-shaped upper plate attachment part 421 configured to be fixed to a lower surface of the upper plate body 41, and a wall engagement part configured to be engaged with the upper part 3b of the wall part 3. In this embodiment, the upper plate attachment part 421 is fixed to the outer peripheral part of the lower surface of the upper plate body 41. Specifically, the upper plate attachment part 421 is fixed at the position where a wall engagement part 422 can be engaged with the upper part 3b of the wall part 3 (ie, the upper plate mounting cutout 3c) when the upper plate body 41 is arranged on the wall part 3 in the unfolded state 3A.The wall engagement part 422 is a clamp that extends downward from the upper plate attachment part 421 and holds the wall part 3 from both sides in the thickness direction. Specifically, the wall engagement part 422 includes an outer holding part 422a located outside the wall part 3 in the thickness direction and an inner holding part 422b located inside the wall part 3 in the thickness direction, and is configured to hold the upper part 3b of the wall part 3 through these holding parts, thereby engaging the wall part 3.

[0024] As in Fig. 5, Fig. 6(A) and Fig. As shown in Fig. 6(B), the upper plate attachment part 421 of the upper plate coupler 42, which has engaged with the wall part 3, is in a state of being fitted into the upper plate installation cutout 3c. In this embodiment, the width of the upper plate installation cutout 3c extending downward is substantially the same as the thickness of the upper plate attachment part 421, and thus the entire upper plate attachment part 421 is fitted into the upper plate installation cutout 3c. Therefore, the lower surface of the upper plate 4 is prevented from rising from the upper part 3b of the wall part 3 by an amount corresponding to the thickness of the upper plate attachment part 421, so that the upper plate 4 can be installed on the wall part 3 with the lower surface of the upper plate 4 in contact with the wall part 3, as shown in Fig. 6(B).

[0025] As in Fig. 2 and Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the image pickup device installation part 5 is a part on which the image pickup device 7 is installed, and supports the installed image pickup device 7. The image pickup device installation part 5 is located at a specific portion on the upper surface of the upper plate body 41, and more specifically, it is located at a central portion. The image pickup device installation part 5 includes an image pickup hole 51a formed to allow a lens 72 of the image pickup device 7 to protrude into the box part 2, and a reflection suppressing device for suppressing reflection of the image pickup device 7 by adjusting the image pickup hole 51a to the size of the lens 72.Specifically, the image pickup device installation part 5 includes an installation body part 51 on which the image pickup device 7 is installed, and an anti-reflection plate 52 as an anti-reflection device arranged between the installation body part 51 and the image pickup device 7 to be installed.

[0026] The installation body part 51 is a part of the upper plate body 41 on which the image pickup device 7 is installed, and more specifically, a certain part of the upper surface of the upper plate body 41. The installation body part 51 has an image pickup hole 51a formed therethrough in the thickness direction of the upper plate body 41. The image pickup hole 51a is a hole larger than the lens 72 of the image pickup device 7, and in this embodiment, is a hole that is long in the depth direction.

[0027] The anti-reflection plate 52 is a plate-shaped body having a lower surface facing the upper surface of the installation body part 51 and an upper surface on which the image pickup device 7 is directly mounted. The anti-reflection plate 52 is made of the same material as that of the upper plate 4. The anti-reflection plate 52 has an adaptive hole 52a extending therethrough in the thickness direction. The adaptive hole 52a is a hole having a size adaptable to the diameter of the lens 72 of the image pickup device 7 and having a size substantially equal to or larger than the lens 72 of the image pickup device 7 and smaller than the image pickup hole 51a. The lower surface of the anti-reflection plate 52 is a non-glossy surface. The image pickup hole 51a and the adaptive hole 52a are arranged to overlap each other in the vertical direction, and the antireflection plate 52 is arranged to cover an area of a peripheral part of the adaptive hole 52a that does not overlap with the image pickup hole 51a.

[0028] As in Fig. 1 to Fig. 4, the illumination part 6 is arranged in the box part 2 and configured to emit light to illuminate the work area S1. In this embodiment, the illumination parts 6 are arranged at a plurality of locations in the box part 2. Further, light emitted from the illumination parts 6 in this embodiment is diffused, and the diffused light illuminates the work area S1. The illumination parts 6 include a pair of side illumination parts 61 arranged along the side walls 31, a far-side illumination part 62 arranged along the rear wall 32, a pair of coupling part illumination parts 63 arranged along the coupling walls 33, and an upper plate illumination part 64 arranged on the lower surface of the upper plate 4. The illumination parts 6 are arranged outside the work area S1.Here, the outside of the working area S1 means the outside of the area of which an image is captured by the image pickup device 7, and an area that is not a target to be captured by the image pickup device 7 installed on the image pickup device installation part 5 or an area to be removed after capturing, for example, by trimming.

[0029] As in Fig. 2 and Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the side lighting parts 61, the far-side lighting part 62, and the top plate lighting part 64 each include a rod-shaped lighting body 6A having a linear light source. In the rod-shaped lighting body 6A, a plurality of light-emitting bodies (LEDs) are arranged in a linear manner to form a linear light source. The coupling part lighting parts 63 each include an annular lighting body 6B having an annular light source. In the annular lighting body 6B, a plurality of light-emitting bodies are arranged annularly to form an annular light source. Further, a hole extending in an axial direction of the coupling part lighting part 63 is formed at a central portion of the annular lighting body 6B.

[0030] As in Fig. 2, the side lighting parts 61 are respectively arranged on the upper surface of the work table D and on inner sides of the side walls 31 (ie, on the right side of the left side wall 31, on the left side of the right side wall 31) with respect to the box part 2 so that a light source extends along the lower end (ie, in the depth direction) of each of the side walls 31. The side lighting parts 61 are arranged so that the light axis of each of the light-emitting bodies faces the upper plate 4, and in this embodiment, are arranged so that the light axis extends along the vertical direction. The upper surface of the side lighting part 61 is arranged at such a height that the shadow cast by it does not extend beyond the work area S1. In this embodiment, the upper surface of the side lighting part 61 is located at a lower position than the upper surface (ie,the drawing area B1) of the white board B (i.e. the drawing medium) (see . Fig. 4).

[0031] The far-side illumination part 62 is arranged on the upper surface of the work table D and on the inner side (i.e., on the near side) of the rear wall 32 with respect to the box part 2, with a light source extending along the lower end of the rear wall 32 (extending in the right-left direction). The far-side illumination part 62 is arranged to have an optical axis facing the upper plate 4, and in this embodiment, an optical axis of each of the light-emitting bodies extending in the vertical direction. The top of the far-side illumination part 62 is set at a height such that the illumination part's own shadow is not cast over the work area S1. In this embodiment, the top of the far-side illumination part 62 is lower than the top of the whiteboard B (for example, a whiteboard) (see Fig. 4).

[0032] As in Fig. 2 and Fig. As shown in Fig. 7, each of the coupling part illumination parts 63 is arranged within the coupling wall 33 with respect to the box part 2, with a light source extending along the lower end of the coupling wall 33. The coupling part illumination part 63 is arranged so that an optical axis of each of the light-emitting bodies faces the inner surface of the coupling wall 33, and in this embodiment, is arranged so that an optical axis extends in a direction substantially orthogonal to the inner surface of the coupling wall 33. The coupling part illumination part 63 of this embodiment is attached to the coupling wall 33 by a lighting part attachment bracket 65, which will be described later.

[0033] As in Fig. 8(a) and Fig. As shown in Figure 8(b), the lighting part attachment fitting 65 is a member engageable with the coupling wall 33 to hold the coupling part lighting part 63 in the engaged state. Specifically, the lighting part attachment fitting 65 includes a wall-mounting fitting member 651 configured to engage with a cutout formed in the coupling wall 33, and a light holding member 652 for holding the coupling part lighting part 63. The wall-mounting fitting member 651 is configured to fit into the cutout formed in the coupling wall 33, thereby engaging with the coupling wall 33. Specifically, a fitting cutout 651a for fitting into the cutout formed in the coupling wall 33 is formed in the wall-mounting member 651. Further, a holding cutout 652a into which the coupling part lighting part 63 is fitted is formed in the light holding part 652.The coupling part illumination part 63 fits into the holding cutout 652a to allow the light holding part 652 to hold the coupling part illumination part 63. Furthermore, the illumination part attachment fitting 65 has light transmittance. Specifically, the entire illumination part attachment fitting 65 is colorlessly transparent.

[0034] As in Fig. As shown in FIG. 7, the lighting part attachment bracket 65 includes an upper attachment bracket 65U configured to engage with the upper cutout 33a of the coupling wall 33 to support the coupling part lighting part 63 from above, and a lower attachment bracket 65D configured to engage with the lower cutout 33b of the coupling wall 33 to support the coupling part lighting part 63 from below. One upper attachment bracket 65U and two lower attachment brackets 65D are provided in this embodiment. Further, each of the lower attachment brackets 65D has a flat bottom surface, the entirety of which is in contact with the upper surface of the work table D while being engaged with the lower cutout 33b.

[0035] As in Fig. 2 and Fig. As shown in Fig. 4, the upper plate illumination part 64 is one of the illumination parts 6 arranged on a lower surface of the upper plate 4 and arranged to extend in the right-left direction. Further, the upper plate illumination part 64 is arranged at a position on the near side of the image pickup device installation part 5. Specifically, the upper plate illumination part 64 includes the rod-shaped illumination body 6A arranged on the lower surface of the upper plate 4 and a light diffusing device 66 for diffusing light emitted from the rod-shaped illumination body 6A. The rod-shaped illumination body 6A of the upper plate illumination part 64 is arranged so that an optical axis of each of the light-emitting bodies faces downward. The rod-shaped lighting body 6A of the upper plate lighting part 64 of this embodiment is fixed to the lower surface of the upper plate body 41.

[0036] The light diffusing device 66 is a laminated body disposed on the lower surface of the upper plate 4 to cover the rod-shaped lighting fixture 6A of the upper plate lighting part 64, and in this embodiment, is a white thin fabric detachably attached to the lower surface of the upper plate 4. The light diffusing device 66 allows light emitted from the rod-shaped lighting fixture 6A to be diffused as it passes through it in the thickness direction. That is, light emitted from the rod-shaped lighting fixture 6A of the upper plate lighting part 64 is diffused as it passes through the light diffusing device 66. The light diffusing device 66 of this embodiment is attached to the upper plate body 41 by a fabric attachment device 661.The fabric attachment device 661 is a magnetic body that can be attached to a magnet previously arranged on the upper plate 4, and holds the light diffusing device 66 between the fabric attachment device 661 and the magnet previously arranged on the upper plate 4. The light diffusing device 66 of this embodiment has a curved shape that is convex downward and is attached to the upper plate body 41. The light diffusing device 66 can be formed, for example, from a milky-white synthetic resin (such as an acrylic resin or plastic). Even with this configuration, the light passing therethrough can be diffused.

[0037] As in Fig. 2, power for emitting light is supplied from an external power supply (specifically, a commercial power supply) to the lighting parts 6 of this embodiment. In this embodiment, a conductive wire 67 for supplying power to the lighting parts 6 is installed so as to extend from the working opening S2 to the inside of the box part 2. Further, the lighting parts 6 of this embodiment are connected to a dimmer 68 and configured to adjust the light intensity by operating the dimmer 68. Without being limited thereto, the configuration may be such that each of the lighting parts 6 has a built-in power source, thus eliminating the need for the conductive wire 67.Alternatively, a cutout or cutouts may be formed at the lower end of the side walls 31, passing through the side walls 31 in the thickness direction, to thereby have a conductive wire 67 arranged to supply the power from outside the box part 2 to each of the lighting parts 6 via the cutout or cutouts.

[0038] Light emitted from the above-mentioned illumination parts 6 is scattered, and the scattered light illuminates the work area S1. Specifically, light emitted from the side illumination parts 61 and the far-side illumination part 62 is reflected on the lower surface of the upper plate 4 and the inner surface of the wall part 3, and the reflected light illuminates the work area S1. The lower surface of the upper plate 4 and the inner surface of the wall part 3, which are non-glossy (surfaces having such unevenness that allows the reflected light to be reflected irregularly), allow light to be reflected irregularly when light is reflected on the lower surface of the upper plate 4 and the inner surface of the wall part 3, and light is scattered as a result.Light emitted from the coupling part illumination part 63 is reflected on the inner surface of the wall part 3, and the reflected light illuminates the work area S1. Likewise, the inner surface of the wall part 3, which is non-glossy, allows light to be irregularly reflected when the light is reflected on the inner surface of the wall part 3, and as a result, light is scattered. Further, a configuration of a hole formed in a central portion of the coupling part illumination part 63 allows the reflected light to pass through the hole to illuminate the work area S1. In this way, light emitted from each of the illumination parts 6 is reflected within the box part 2 to illuminate the work area S1, and thus the work area S1 is fully illuminated from the inner surface of the box part 2.Therefore, the entire work area S1 is evenly illuminated. Furthermore, light emitted from the upper panel illumination part 64 passes through the light diffusing device 66, and the light that has passed through it illuminates the work area S1. Here, the light diffusing device 66 allows the light that has passed through it to be diffused, and thus, the diffused light illuminates the work area S1.

[0039] As in Fig. As shown in Fig. 9, the image pickup device 7 is a device that can capture an image of the work area S1, and specifically, a camera or a terminal with a built-in camera. The image pickup device 7 of this embodiment can capture both a moving image and a still image, but can capture either the moving image or the still image. Specifically, the image pickup device 7 includes an image pickup body 71 having a box shape and a lens 72 disposed in the image pickup body 71, and is configured such that the image pickup body 71 allows light (i.e., an image) that has passed through the lens 72 to be digitally or analogically recorded in a storage medium.

[0040] The image pickup device 7 is installed on the image pickup device installation part 5. Specifically, the image pickup device 7 is arranged such that the lens 72 overlaps with the adaptive hole 52a in the vertical direction on the upper part of the anti-reflection plate 52, which is arranged to allow the adaptive hole 52a to communicate with the image pickup hole 51a of the installation body part 51. To adjust the position of the image pickup device 7 relative to the upper plate 4, the positions of the adaptive hole 52a and the lens 72 relative to the image pickup hole 51a are adjusted by moving the anti-reflection plate 52 together with the image pickup device 7. Thereby, the position of the image pickup device 7 relative to the upper plate 4 can be adjusted. In the case where the lens 72 and the image pickup hole 51a are matched in size, the image pickup device 7 can be installed directly on the installation body part 51 without using the anti-reflection plate 52. In such a case, the entire image pickup hole 51a can be closed by the lens 72, which can suppress the reflection of the image pickup device 7.

[0041] A method of generating a handwork image using the image pickup device 1 having the above configuration will be described.

[0042] First, for a preliminary phase, the image pickup device 1 is installed on the work table D. The installation of the image pickup device 1 on the work table D is carried out through three steps of a wall part unfolding step, a top plate mounting step, and a lighting part arrangement step.

[0043] In the wall part unfolding step, the wall part 3 is in the folded state 3B, as in Fig. 10, mounted on the work table D to rotate into the unfolded state 3A, as shown in Fig. 1 to surround the work area S1. The arrangement of the wall part 3 in this phase is a temporary arrangement, and the final arrangement will be carried out in the top plate assembly step.

[0044] In the top plate assembly step, the top plate 4 is mounted on the upper part 3b of the wall part 3 in the unfolded state 3A. Specifically, in the top plate assembly step, the upper plate body 41 is arranged on the upper part 3b of the wall part 3 to cover the work area S1, while the wall engaging parts 422 of the upper plate couplers 42 are engaged with the upper part 3b of the wall part 3, thereby coupling the top plate 4 and the wall part 3. Here, since the upper plate couplers 42 are arranged to engage with the wall part 3 in the unfolded state 3A, the wall part 3 is positioned simultaneously with the time of engagement of the wall engagement part 422 with the wall part 3, and the pair of side walls 31 of the wall part 3 are opposed to each other in the right-left direction, and the rear wall 32 is arranged to extend in a direction orthogonal to the two side walls 31.The above steps complete the installation of box part 2 on work table D.

[0045] The lighting part arrangement step is a step for arranging the lighting parts 6 in the box part 2. Specifically, the side lighting parts 61 are arranged along the pair of side walls 31, and the far-side lighting part 62 is arranged along the rear wall 32. Further, the lighting part attachment fittings 65 are attached to the coupling wall 33 to allow the lighting part attachment fittings 65 to hold the coupling part lighting part 63, thereby arranging the coupling part lighting parts 63. Since the upper plate lighting part 64 is previously fixed to the upper plate body 41 in this embodiment, the arrangement of the upper plate lighting part 64 is completed when the upper plate 4 is arranged on the wall part 3. Subsequently, the lighting part arrangement step is completed by wiring to supply power to each of the lighting parts. The above steps complete the installation of the image pickup device 1 on the work table D.

[0046] Next, a handicraft image is created by capturing a handicraft image using the image capturing device 1. In this embodiment, the description will be given based on the case where an image is created as the handicraft image from a bird's-eye view of a drawing work for drawing a picture on a drawing medium (ie, a whiteboard B) having a drawing area B1 on the top thereof. Before creating an image of the handicraft, the lighting parts 6 of the image capturing device 1 are turned on, and the whiteboard B as the drawing medium is positioned on the work area S1 while the image capturing device 7 is installed on the image capturing device installation part 5. When the image capturing device 7 is installed on the image capturing device installation part 5, the position of the image capturing device 7 relative to the top plate 4 is adjusted as needed.

[0047] Next, a user performs handwork by placing their hands from the work opening S2 into the work area S1, while capturing an image of the work area S1 by the image pickup device 7. In this embodiment, a moving image of handwork for drawing a picture or letter on a drawing medium is captured by the image pickup device 7. That is, an image of a picture or letter itself drawn on a drawing medium is not captured, but an image of a process of drawing a painting or letter (i.e., a process of handwork) is captured. The work opening S2 is kept open while capturing an image of the work area S1 by the image pickup device 7.

[0048] Since the work opening S2 is kept open, light emitted from the illumination parts 6 leaks from the work opening S2 to the outside of the box part 2. However, in this embodiment, the upper plate illumination part 64 is provided on the near side of the image pickup device installation part 5, and thus the upper plate illumination part 64 supplements some of the light leaking from the work opening S2. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the darkening of the work area S1 on the near side even when the image of the work area S1 is captured with the work opening S2 kept open.

[0049] Then, the image pickup body 71 stores the image of the captured handicraft in the storage medium. This completes the recording (generation) of the handicraft image. In this embodiment, the handicraft image is stored in the storage medium provided within the image pickup device 7, but the configuration may be such that the image is stored in an external storage medium (such as a memory card or an external server).

[0050] After the image capturing is completed, the image capturing device 1 is removed from the work table D and then stored with the wall part 3 folded. When the wall part 3 is folded in this embodiment, the inner surfaces of the rear wall 32 and the coupling walls 33 are straightened, and then the side walls 31 are folded so that the inner surfaces of the side walls 31 overlap with the inner surfaces of the rear wall 32 and the coupling walls 33. In this embodiment, the wall part 3 is folded with the bookbinding tape as the cover member (not shown) and the tape 34 held attached to the wall part 3.

[0051] According to the image pickup device 1 having the above configuration, when performing work by placing the hands away from the work port S2, it is possible to capture an image of the hands and their surrounding areas while being illuminated by the illumination parts 6. Therefore, it is possible to capture an image of the hands and their surrounding areas illuminated by the illumination parts 6 while suppressing the reflection of external light and the like by the wall part 3 and the upper plate 4 surrounding the work area S1. The wall part 3 and the upper plate 4 can have any configuration as long as the reflection of external light and the like can be suppressed. For example, it is possible to use a configuration such that external light can pass through it while being scattered to such an extent that it does not cause any influence on image acquisition, or a configuration such that external light is completely blocked.

[0052] Furthermore, since the work area S1 can be illuminated in a range covering both the lateral sides and the far side, the occurrence of uneven brightness in the work area S1 can be suppressed. Therefore, an image of the handicraft can be captured finely.

[0053] Since the upper plate illumination part 64 is arranged on the near side of the image pickup device installation part 5, the hands and their surrounding areas can be illuminated by the upper plate illumination part 64 during manual work. Therefore, an image of the hands and their surrounding areas can be finely captured.

[0054] Furthermore, since the coupling part illumination parts 63 are provided along the coupling walls 33, the work area S1 can be illuminated from the far-side corners. This makes it possible to suppress the darkening of the corners of the work area S1 and thus capture a fine image of the handwork.

[0055] Furthermore, since the coupling part lighting parts 63 can be attached to the coupling walls 33 via the lighting part attachment fittings 65, thereby enabling the lighting part attachment fittings 65 to be arranged at positions close to the coupling walls 33, it is possible to prevent possible shadows of the lighting part attachment fittings 65 that may occur from causing reflection in the captured image. Therefore, an image of the handicraft can be captured finely.

[0056] Moreover, since the upper plate body 41 is supported by the wall part 3 from below and is reinforced by the reinforcing part 43, even if the upper plate body 4 is applied with a load, it is possible to prevent the upper plate body 41 from being bent downward by the load.

[0057] Furthermore, each illumination part 6 (i.e., a light source formed of a lighting means array structure) is configured to extend continuously in a plane direction of the top plate 4. This configuration makes it possible to emit uniform light compared to the configuration in which the illumination parts 6 (i.e., the light sources) are located at different positions.

[0058] Furthermore, the side illumination parts 61 and the far-side illumination part 62 are provided so that their light axes face the upper plate 4. This configuration makes it possible to evenly illuminate the entire work area S1 by light reflected on the upper plate 4.

[0059] Furthermore, the light sources of the side illumination parts 61 and the far-side illumination part 62 are arranged below the drawing area B1 (i.e., the upper surface) of the drawing medium. This configuration makes it possible to prevent the drawing area B1 from being directly exposed to light emitted from the illumination parts 6, thereby suppressing the reflection of the illumination parts 6.

[0060] In addition, the upper plate illumination part 64 is provided to have the light axes surrounding the work table D. This configuration can safely illuminate the hands and surrounding areas during manual work, thereby enabling the capture of an image.

[0061] Furthermore, the upper plate illumination part 64 includes the light source and the light diffusing device 66 for diffusing light emitted from the light source. Therefore, even if the upper plate illumination part 64 emits light toward the worktable D, the light is diffused, and thus the reflection of the upper plate illumination part 64 can be suppressed. Accordingly, brightness preservation and the suppression of reflection of light from the illumination parts 6 can be realized simultaneously.

[0062] In addition, since the lighting part mounting fittings 65 are transparent, it is possible to suppress the generation of a shadow by the lighting part mounting fittings 65.

[0063] Furthermore, the image pickup device installation part 5 on the upper surface of the upper plate body 41 includes the installation body part 51 on which the image pickup device 7 is installed, and the image pickup hole 51a extending in the thickness direction is formed in the installation body part 51. With this configuration, an image is captured by placing the image pickup device 7 on the upper plate body 41, making it possible to easily capture an image. Moreover, an image of the work area S1 is captured through the image pickup hole 51a, making it possible to suppress a distorted appearance of an object. This makes it possible to easily and finely capture an image of the handicraft. In particular, according to the above configuration, the strength of the upper plate body 41 can be reduced due to the formation of the image pickup hole 51a, but the upper plate body 41 can be reinforced by the reinforcing member 43, which makes it possible to suppress the upper plate body 41 from being deformed by the weight of the image pickup device 7.

[0064] Further, the image pickup device installation part 5 includes the anti-reflection plate 52 having a plate shape and including the adaptive hole 52a extending in the thickness direction. The adaptive hole 52a is a hole smaller than the image pickup hole 51a, and the anti-reflection plate 52 is arranged between the installation body part 51 and the image pickup device 7 to communicate the lens 72 of the image pickup device 7 with the image pickup hole 51a via the adaptive hole 52a. Therefore, the amount of the image pickup device 7 exposed to the work area S1 can be suppressed by the anti-reflection plate 52, and thus, the reflection caused by the image pickup device 7 reflecting on the work table D and the like can be suppressed.Furthermore, the bottom surface of the anti-reflection plate 52, which is a non-glossy surface, allows the light emitted from the illumination parts 6 to be irregularly reflected on the bottom surface of the anti-reflection plate 52, thereby illuminating the work area S1 by the reflected light. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress the darkening of the work area S1 due to light leaking from the image pickup hole 51a to the outside of the box part 2.

[0065] Furthermore, light emitted from the illumination parts 6 is diffused to illuminate the work area S1. Since the work area S1 thus illuminated by the diffused light can be prevented from being locally exposed to strong light, the entire work area S1 can be evenly illuminated. Specifically, light emitted from each of the side illumination parts 61, the far-side illumination part 62, and the coupling part illumination parts 63 is diffused while being reflected on the inner surface of the wall part 3 and the lower surface of the upper plate 4, and thus it is possible to illuminate the entire work area S1 from the entire inner surface of the wall part 3.

[0066] Furthermore, since the angle formed by the adjacent inner surfaces of the wall part 3 is an obtuse angle, light can be reflected toward the work area S1 even at the boundary of the adjacent inner surfaces of the wall part 3, making it possible to illuminate the work area S1 by reflected light. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress local darkening of the work area S1.

[0067] According to the above-mentioned method for generating the image of the handwork, it is possible to capture an image of the handwork while illuminating the hands and the like during the handwork when the hands are placed through the work opening S2. Therefore, it is possible to capture an image of the handwork while illuminating the hands and their surrounding areas by the illumination parts 6, while suppressing the reflection of external light and the like by the wall part 3 and the top plate 4 surrounding the work area S1.

[0068] Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described above, for example, the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.

[0069] The description has been made by taking, for example, the case where light emitted from the lighting parts 6 is scattered to illuminate the work area S1, but the configuration may be such that the work area S1 is illuminated with light emitted from the lighting parts 6 without scattering.

[0070] Furthermore, the description has been made by taking, for example, the case where the image pickup device 7 captures a moving image of the handwork, but is not limited thereto. The configuration may be such that the image pickup device 7 captures still images of a handwork process based on the passage of time.

[0071] Moreover, the description has been made by taking, for example, the case where the wall part 3 can be unfolded and folded, but is not limited thereto. The configuration may be such that the wall part 3 cannot be folded. In the case where the wall part 3 is configured to be non-foldable, the wall part 3 may, for example, be composed of a single plate-shaped body having a semicircular shape in plan view that is concave toward the far side. Alternatively, the configuration may be such that the wall part 3 does not include a coupling wall 33 to allow the side walls 31 to be directly coupled to the rear wall 32.

[0072] Furthermore, the box part 2 can be configured to include a base plate. In the case where such a configuration is used, the lower part of the work area S1 is covered with the base plate, thereby arranging the drawing medium, for example, on the upper surface of the base plate.

[0073] Furthermore, the arrangement and number of the lighting parts 6 are not limited to the above examples. For example, the configuration without including one or some of the side lighting part 61, the far side lighting part 62, the coupling part lighting part 63, and the upper plate lighting part 64 may be adopted, or the configuration including an additional lighting part 6 may be adopted. Furthermore, the configuration of the lighting parts 6 is not limited to the configuration described above. For example, although the description has been made in the case where the coupling part lighting part 63 includes the ring-shaped lighting body 6B, the configuration may be such that the coupling part lighting part 63 includes a rod-shaped lighting body 6A having a rod shape.

[0074] Furthermore, the description has been made by taking, for example, the case where the wall mounting part 651 of the lighting part mounting bracket 65 is engaged with the cutout formed in the coupling wall 33, but is not limited thereto. For example, the configuration may be such that the wall mounting part 651 of the lighting part mounting bracket 65 is attached to the coupling wall 33 with, for example, an adhesive.

[0075] Moreover, the description has been made by taking, for example, the case where the reinforcement member 43 is a metal for attachment to the opening-side piece 41b, but is not limited thereto. For example, the reinforcement member 43 may be configured as a wire to be embedded in the upper plate body 41, or may be configured such that the edge of the upper plate body 41 is folded to improve rigidity. Further, the reinforcement member 43 may be mounted on any side piece (i.e., supported side piece 41a) other than the opening-side piece 41b. In the case where such a configuration is adopted, the strength of the upper plate body 41 can be further improved.Furthermore, in the case where the upper plate body 41 is formed of a material having such rigidity that it is not deformed even when the image pickup device 7 is mounted thereon, the configuration may be such that no reinforcement member 43 is included. Even in such a case, the reinforcement member 43 is preferably included in terms of preventing deformation of the upper plate body 41.

[0076] Furthermore, the description has been made by taking, for example, the case where the image pickup hole 51a is formed in the image pickup device installation part 5 to enable an image of the work area S1 in the box part 2 to be captured from the outside of the box part 2, but is not limited to this. For example, the configuration may be such that a part of the image pickup device installation part 5 is formed of a transparent material to enable an image of the work area S1 in the box part 2 to be captured from the outside of the box part 2.

[0077] Moreover, the description has been made by taking, for example, the case where the image pickup device installation part 5 is provided on the upper plate 4 and the work area S1 is shot from a bird's eye view, but is not limited to this. For example, the configuration may be such that the image pickup device installation part 5 is provided on the wall part 3 to capture an image of the work area S1 from either the lateral side or the far side. Even in the case where the image pickup device installation part 5 is provided on the upper plate 4, the configuration may be such that, for example, the image pickup device 7 is installed on the lower part of the upper plate 4.

[0078] Furthermore, the description has been made by taking, for example, the anti-reflection plate 52 as an anti-reflection device of the image pickup device installation part 5, without being limited thereto. For example, the configuration may be such that the size of the image pickup hole 51a is variable to allow itself to correspond to the size of the lens 72. Even in such a configuration, the reflection of the image pickup device 7 can be suppressed. Furthermore, the configuration may be such that no anti-reflection device is included.

[0079] Furthermore, the description was made by taking, for example, the work of drawing a picture or letter on a drawing medium as the handwork to be recorded, but not limited to it. For example, a picture of any handwork, such as cooking, sawing, or inserting accessories, can be recorded.
