Description

Technical field

[0001] The disclosure relates to a tagged container made of synthetic resin, in which a container opening has a layered structure including an outer layer-side container opening and an inner layer-side container opening, and a tagged preform used in the manufacture of the tagged container. State of the art

[0002] As tubular containers with a bottom for filling beverages or other liquids, containers made of synthetic resin and having a layered structure are known. For example, by subjecting an outer layer preform, which is an injection-molded product of thermoplastic resin, to biaxial stretch blow molding, with an inner layer preform, which is also an injection-molded product of thermoplastic resin, coaxially mounted thereon, a container with a layered structure integrating an inner layer and an outer layer can be obtained. As a container with a layered structure, a tagged container is known in which an information-bearing tag, such as a decorative tag, an IC tag, or any other tag, is inserted between the inner layer and the outer layer.

[0003] The present inventors proposed the following in Patent Document 1. In a container having a layered structure obtained by biaxially stretch blow molding an inner layer preform and an outer layer preform coaxially bonded to each other, a tag is interposed between an inner layer and an outer layer in a container opening that does not undergo biaxial stretch blow molding. The tag, using radio frequency identification (RFID), is expected to be used in the future for product traceability, brand protection (authenticity), caching, and streamlining. The data can be managed on a cloud server.

[0004] On the other hand, as such a container having a two- or multi-layer laminated structure, a container is known in which only a container opening has a two- or multi-layer laminated structure to achieve the durability, strength, or the like required for the container opening, while the other portions, such as a container body and a container bottom, maintain a single-layer structure. Such a container has been proposed in Patent Documents 2 to 10. As described in these patent documents, usually, to form an opening of a synthetic resin container into a two-layer structure, a cylindrical piece for forming an inner layer or an outer layer of the opening of the container is inserted into an injection mold, and a preform is injection-molded, thereby integrating the cylindrical piece with a preform opening. [0005] In the containers described in Patent Documents 2 to 8, a tubular piece is inserted into a bottomed preform for biaxial stretch blow molding before injection molding, and the preform and the tubular piece are integrated by injection molding.

[0006] A resin material having the properties required for the container opening is used, and the tubular piece and a preform injection material are integrated by bonding in their contact area.

[0007] There is a problem that the injection mold for molding the tubular piece may become complex, such as having a protrusion on the tubular piece to limit rotation or having a through hole for introducing injection resin from an inner surface to an outer surface of the tubular piece, resulting in insufficient venting in the mold and short shots (molding defects due to insufficient filling).

[0008] When inserting a tubular piece that allows the assembly of a screw cap or the like into the injection mold, the shape of the injection mold can become complex to allow the tubular piece to be positioned, thus limiting the cycle time.

[0009] In the containers described in Patent Documents 9 and 10, in order to impart mechanical strength to the container opening, a part constituting a container body and a screw member made of another synthetic resin material or metal are integrated by injection molding, and biaxial stretch blow molding is performed.

[0010] These elements are mounted with a screw element that is locked in the circumferential direction, thereby securing them and preventing them from slipping. However, since no up-down fixation is provided, there is a problem that a gap may form between these elements.

[0011] In this case, even in a container with a two- or multi-layer layered structure, where only the container opening is provided with the durability and strength required for the two- or multi-layer layered structure, it is conceivable to arrange a jewelry tag, an RFID tag, an IC tag, or any other tag. In this case, the layered structure of the container opening is realized by injection molding the preform, wherein a tubular piece forming an outer layer of the container opening is inserted into the injection mold as described above. When manufacturing a preform for producing a container having a container opening with a layered structure by injection molding, it is difficult to arrange a tag between the layers of the container opening when high pressure and high heat are applied during injection molding. As described above, in the case of manufacturing the preform having an opening with a layered structure by injection molding, there are problems to be solved such as increased complexity of the injection mold.

[0012] In view of the above points, the disclosure provides a tagged preform in which a tag is appropriately arranged between an inner layer and an outer layer of an opening having a layered structure without requiring injection molding, and a tagged container obtained by biaxially stretch blow molding the tagged preform. Means to solve the problems

[0013] The disclosure provides a tagged preform used in the manufacture of a tagged container in which a container opening has a layered structure including an inner-layer-side container opening and an outer-layer-side container opening. The tagged preform includes: a preform main body made of synthetic resin and having a bottom, a tubular trunk, and a tubular opening; a tubular body made of synthetic resin and fitted and fixed into an outer peripheral surface of the opening in an up-down direction of the tagged preform; and a tag disposed between the outer peripheral surface of the opening and an inner peripheral surface of the tubular body. The bottom and the trunk are portions formed by biaxial stretch blow molding and serve as a container bottom and a container trunk of the tagged container. The opening is a portion that directly forms the inner layer-side container opening without undergoing biaxial stretch blow molding. The tubular body is a portion that directly forms the outer layer-side container opening without undergoing biaxial stretch blow molding.

[0014] The disclosure provides a tagged container manufactured by biaxially stretch blow molding the tagged preform having the above configuration. The tagged container includes a container bottom, a tubular container body, and a tubular container opening. The container opening has a layered structure including an inner-layer-side container opening and an outer-layer-side container opening. The container bottom and the container body are portions manufactured by biaxially stretch blow molding the bottom and the body of the preform main body. The inner-layer-side container opening is a portion in which the opening of the preform main body remains unchanged without biaxial stretch blow molding. The outer-layer-side container opening is a portion in which the tubular body remains unchanged without being subjected to biaxial stretch blow molding. The tag is arranged between the inner layer side and the outer layer side container opening.

[0015] In the tagged preform of the disclosure, the tubular body manufactured as a separate component is fitted and fixed into the outer peripheral surface of the opening of the preform main body, and the tag is interposed between the opening and the tubular body. By biaxially stretch blow molding the body and bottom of the tagged preform having this configuration, a tagged container is obtained. The tubular body and the opening of the preform main body are not subjected to biaxial stretch blow molding and remain unchanged as the outer layer and inner layer of the container opening. Effects of the invention

[0016] According to the disclosure, a tagged container having a configuration in which a tag is disposed between an inner layer and an outer layer of a container opening having a layered structure can be obtained without relying on injection molding. In the thus obtained tagged container, the tag can be appropriately disposed at the container opening having a layered structure without adverse effects such as damage or misalignment due to high temperature and high pressure during injection molding or biaxial stretch blow molding. [0017] Hereinafter, a tagged container according to an embodiment of the disclosure, a tagged preform used in manufacturing the tagged container, and a manufacturing method of the tagged container will be described with reference to the drawings. [Embodiment 1](tagged container)

[0018] Fig. 1 (A) is a side view of a tagged container, Fig. 1 (B) is a plan view showing an upper end face of an opening of the tagged container, Fig. 1 (C) is a partial longitudinal cross-sectional view showing a portion of the container opening cut along the line 1C-1C', and Fig. 1 (D) is an enlarged partial cross-sectional view of portion D of the container opening. In a tagged container 1, a tag is arranged at a container opening having a layered structure including an inner-layer-side container opening and an outer-layer-side container opening. The tagged container 1 includes: a container main body 2 made of synthetic resin and having a bottle shape; a tubular body (cylindrical body 4 in the present example) made of synthetic resin and serving to form the outer-layer-side container opening; and a tag 6. As described later, the tagged container 1 is manufactured by biaxially stretch blow molding a tagged preform 100 (see Fig. 2) which has a preform main body (see Fig. 3), the cylindrical body 4 (see Fig. 4) and the tag 6. In this example, the container main body 2 has a single-layer structure. However, in some cases, the container main body 2 may also have a two- or multi-layer structure.

[0019] The main body of the container 2 and the cylindrical body 4 are made of a thermoplastic resin. Suitable thermoplastic resin materials include PET (including crystalline, amorphous, and modified PET), PEF, PP, PEN, TPX, amorphous polyamide resin, PC, copolyester resin, vegetable resin, biodegradable resin, recycled resin of the aforementioned resins, and mixed resins. Thermosetting resin can also be used as the material for the cylindrical body 4. The container main body 2 and the cylindrical body 4 can be made of the same type of resin or different types of resin.

[0020] The container main body 2 of the tagged container 1 is a biaxial stretch blow molding product. As shown in Fig. 1 (A) and Fig. 1 (C), the container main body 2 includes a container bottom 21, a cylindrical container body 22, and an inner-layer-side container opening 23 having a thin cylindrical shape formed at an upper end of the container body 22. The container bottom 21 and the container body 22 are portions formed by biaxial stretch blow molding. The inner-layer-side container opening 23 is a portion not subjected to biaxial stretch blow molding. An annular inner-layer-side opening flange 24 is formed at an upper end of the inner-layer-side container opening 23. At a lower end of the inner-layer-side opening flange 24, a cylindrical part of the inner-layer-side mouth opening 25 is coaxially formed. A large-diameter support ring 26 is coaxially formed at a lower surface of the cylindrical part of the inner-layer-side mouth opening 25.An upper end portion of the container body 22 is connected to a lower portion of the support ring 26.

[0021] An inner peripheral surface 23b of the inner layer-side container opening 23 has a constant inner diameter in an up-down direction. As shown in Fig. 1(D), on an outer peripheral surface of the inner-layer-side container opening 23, from the top side, are formed: a first outer peripheral surface 24a, which is an outer peripheral surface of the inner-layer-side opening flange 24; a second outer peripheral surface 25a, which is an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part of the inner-layer-side mouth opening 25; and a third outer peripheral surface 26a, which is an outer peripheral surface of the support ring 26. A portion except for a lower end portion of the second outer peripheral surface 25a is an outer peripheral surface portion 25b having a smaller diameter than the first outer peripheral surface 24a; the lower end portion is an outer peripheral surface portion 25c having the same outer diameter as the first outer peripheral surface 24a. A recess 25d for mounting tags is formed in the outer peripheral surface portion 25b.An opening-side, downward-facing end surface 24b of a ring shape is formed between the first outer peripheral surface 24a and the outer peripheral surface portion 25b at an upper end surface of the second outer peripheral surface 25a. An opening-side, upward-facing end surface 26b of the ring shape is formed between the outer peripheral surface portion 25c at the lower end surface of the second outer peripheral surface 25a and the third outer peripheral surface 26a at the lower side.

[0022] The cylindrical body 4, which forms the opening of the container on the outer layer side, is in Fig. 4 shown. Fig. 4 (A), Fig. 4 (B) and Fig. 4 (C) respectively show a side view of the cylindrical body 4, a bottom view of the cylindrical body 4, and a longitudinal cross-sectional view of a portion of the cylindrical body 4 cut along the line 4C-4C'. As in Fig. 1 and Fig. 4, an outer screw 41a for mounting a screw cap (not shown) is formed on an outer peripheral surface 41 of the cylindrical body 4. In an inner peripheral surface 42 of the cylindrical body 4, a portion continuous with an upper opening end surface 43 (cylindrical body top surface) of the cylindrical body 4 is a first inner peripheral surface 44, and a portion from a lower side of the first inner peripheral surface 44 to a lower opening end surface 46 is a second inner peripheral surface 45 having the same inner diameter as the first inner peripheral surface 44. An inward projection 47 is formed on an upper end portion of the second inner peripheral surface 45. The first outer peripheral surface 24a of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 is coaxially fitted into the first inner peripheral surface 44.The second inner peripheral surface 45 faces the second outer peripheral surface 25a of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 with a predetermined gap, except for a lower end portion of the second outer peripheral surface 25a. An arranging gap 7, in which the tag 6 is arranged, is provided between the second inner peripheral surface 45 of the cylindrical body 4 and the recess 25d of the second outer peripheral surface 25a of the inner-layer-side container opening 23.

[0023] The inwardly directed projection 47 is formed at a plurality of locations at equal angular intervals in a circumferential direction on the upper end portion of the second inner peripheral surface 45. In the present example, as can be seen from Fig. 4(B), the inward protrusion 47 is formed at four locations at 90° intervals. Each inward protrusion 47 has a constant width in the circumferential direction and includes a tapered arc surface 47a whose radially inward protrusion gradually increases upward. An upper end surface of the inward protrusion 47 is a tubular, body-side upward end surface 47b having an arc shape, having a constant width, and contacting from below with the opening-side downward end surface 24b of the inner-layer-side container opening 23. The lower opening end surface 46 of the cylindrical body 4 is a tubular, body-side downward end surface and contacting from above with the opening-side upward end surface 26b on an upper surface side of the support ring 26 of the inner-layer-side container opening 23.

[0024] The cylindrical body 4 is in a state of being fitted and fixed between the opening-side downward annular end surface 24b and the opening-side upward annular end surface 26b of the inner-layer-side container opening 23. By contacting the opening-side downward end surface 24b and the opening-side upward end surface 26b in the up-down direction, the cylindrical body 4 is fixed to the inner-layer-side container opening 23 in a state of being positioned in the up-down direction. Falling out of the cylindrical body 4 with respect to the inner-layer-side container opening 23 in the up-down direction can also be prevented.

[0025] Between the cylindrical body 4 and the inner-layer-side container opening 23, a rotation limiter is arranged, which prevents rotation of the cylindrical body 4 relative to the inner-layer-side container opening 23. The rotation limiter includes an engagement groove 48 formed on the side of the cylindrical body 4 and an engagement projection 28 formed on the side of the inner-layer-side container opening 23. The engagement groove 48 is a groove with a rectangular outline, which opens at the lower opening end surface 46 of the cylindrical body 4 and penetrates the cylindrical body 4 in the radial direction. In the present example, as can be seen from Fig. 4, the engagement groove 48 is formed at two locations separated by 180° in the circumferential direction. The engagement groove 48 is formed at positions corresponding to two inwardly directed projections 47 located at positions angularly spaced 180° in the circumferential direction.

[0026] The engaging projection 28 on the inner layer side of the container opening 23 protrudes upward from the opening-side upward end surface 26b on the upper surface side of the support ring 26, which is in contact with the lower opening end surface 46 of the cylindrical body 4. The engaging projection 28 has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with a width dimension that allows it to fit into the engaging groove 48 from below. The engaging projection 28 is arranged at two locations with an angular pitch of 180° in the circumferential direction, corresponding to the engaging groove 48. As shown in Fig. 1(D), in a state where the engaging projection 28 is fitted into the engaging groove 48, a gap G having a predetermined width in the up-down direction is formed between an upper surface of the engaging projection 28 and a groove bottom surface of the engaging groove 48, which is opposite to the engaging projection 28 from above.

[0027] In a state where the cylindrical body 4 is attached to the inner-layer side container opening 23, the engaging protrusion 28 of the inner-layer side container opening 23 is fitted into the engaging groove 48 of the cylindrical body 4 from below. Since the engaging protrusion 28 engages with the engaging groove 48 in the circumferential direction, misalignment of the cylindrical body 4 in the circumferential direction is prevented. When a force is applied that increases the gap G in the up-down direction and the cylindrical body 4 is forcibly pushed upward with respect to the inner-layer side container opening 23, an engaging portion between the inward protrusion 47 (tube body side upward end surface 47b) and the opening side downward end surface 24b may be plastically deformed or damaged.Accordingly, it is possible to remove the cylindrical body 4 upward from the inner layer side container opening 23.

[0028] As described above, the tag 6 is housed in the tag placement gap 7 formed between the second inner peripheral surface 45 of the cylindrical body 4 and the recess 25d of the second outer peripheral surface 25a of the inner-layer-side container opening. In cases where a portion of the cylindrical body 4 or the inner-layer-side container opening 23 is bent by an external force applied during biaxial stretch blow molding, filling, sealing, or dispensing, a dimension that can prevent damage to the tag 6 is required. For this purpose, it is desirable to set a gap dimension of the tag placement gap 7 to 0.1 mm to 5 mm. The tag 6 is, for example, a sheet-shaped RFID tag with a rectangular outline. The RFID tag has a configuration in which a flexible circuit board is provided with a memory chip, an antenna pattern made of a conductive material such as copper foil, etc.is mounted.

[0029] The tag 6 is attached to the recess 25d formed in the second outer peripheral surface 25a of the inner-layer-side container opening 23. The tag 6 can be attached to the second inner peripheral surface 45 of the cylindrical body 4 defining the outer-layer-side container opening. It is also possible to directly form a wiring of an antenna pattern or the like on the second outer peripheral surface 25a of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 by printing or the like, and then mount a memory chip or the like thereon.

[0030] In the container main body 2, a boundary between the inner-layer-side container opening 23, which is not subjected to biaxial stretch blow molding, and an upper end of the container body 22, which is subjected to biaxial stretch blow molding, is not clearly defined. Stretch blow molding is performed in a state where the stretch ratio gradually increases from a lower portion of the support ring 26 of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 toward the container body 22. Generally, the inner-layer-side container opening 23, in which stretch blow molding is not performed, refers to a portion from the top of an opening of the container main body 2 to near the bottom of the support ring 26. (Example of a tagged preform)

[0031] Fig. Fig. 2(A) is a side view showing a tagged preform used in the manufacture of the tagged container 1, and Fig. Figure 2(B) is a longitudinal sectional view of a portion of the tagged preform cut along line 2B-2B'. Fig. 3 is a longitudinal sectional view showing a preform main body. The tagged preform 100 is described with reference to Fig. 2, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 described.

[0032] The tagged preform 100 includes: a preform main body 120, which is an injection-molded product of thermoplastic resin; the cylindrical body 4, which is an injection-molded product of thermoplastic resin; and the tag 6. The preform main body 120 includes a bottom 121, a cylindrical trunk 122, and a cylindrical opening 123 formed at an upper end of the trunk 122. The preform main body 120 is formed by biaxial stretch blow molding and molded into the container main body 2 of the tagged container 1. Specifically, the bottom 121 and the trunk 122 of the preform main body 120 are portions formed by biaxial stretch blow molding and serve as the container bottom 21 and the container trunk 22 of the container main body 2.In contrast, the opening 123 of the preform main body 120 is a portion that directly serves as the inner-layer-side container opening 23 of the container opening of the container main body 2 without undergoing biaxial stretch blow molding. The opening 123 has the same structure as the inner-layer-side container opening 23. The cylindrical body 4 is a portion that directly serves as the outer-layer-side container opening of the container opening without undergoing biaxial stretch blow molding.

[0033] In Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the same reference numerals are assigned to the portions of the opening 123 of the preform main body 120 corresponding to each part of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 of the container main body 2. The cylindrical body 4 is fitted and fixed into an outer peripheral surface of the opening 123 of the preform main body 120 (from the top in the present embodiment) in the preform up-down direction. The tag 6 is arranged between the outer peripheral surface of the opening 123 and an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 4. That is, the tag arrangement gap 7 is formed between the second outer peripheral surface 25a of the opening 123 of the preform main body 120 and the inner peripheral surface 42 of the cylindrical body 4, and the tag 6 is arranged in the tag arrangement gap 7 in a state of being fixed to the second outer peripheral surface 25a.

[0034] The tubular body-side upward end surface 47b of the four inward protrusions 47 located on an upper end surface of the cylindrical body 4 contacts the opening-side downward end surface 24b of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 from below, and the lower opening end surface 46 of the cylindrical body 4 contacts the opening-side upward end surface 26b of the support ring 26 of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 from above. Accordingly, the cylindrical body 4 is in a state of being fitted and fixed between the opening-side lower end surface 24b and the opening-side upper end surface 26b of the inner-layer-side container opening 23.In the state where the cylindrical body 4 is attached to the inner-layer-side container opening 23, the engaging projection 28 of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 is fitted into the engaging groove 48 of the cylindrical body 4. Since the engaging projection 28 engages the engaging groove 48 in the circumferential direction, misalignment of the cylindrical body 4 in the circumferential direction is prevented. (Example of the manufacturing process of a tagged container)

[0035] Fig. 5 is an explanatory diagram showing an overview of the manufacturing process of the tagged container 1. The preform main body 120 is manufactured by injection molding using a thermoplastic resin. Separately, the cylindrical body 4 serving as the outer container opening is manufactured by injection molding using a thermoplastic resin material. The tag 6 is prepared (step ST1). The tag 6 is positioned and fixed with an adhesive to the recess 25d of the second outer peripheral surface 25a of the opening 123 of the preform main body 120 (step ST2).

[0036] Subsequently, the cylindrical body 4 is attached to the preform main body 120 (step ST3). The cylindrical body 4 is circumferentially positioned so that the engaging groove 48 and the engaging projection 28, both of which are rotation limiters, coincide with each other. In this state, the opening 123 of the preform main body 120 is coaxially inserted into the cylindrical body 4 from the lower end opening side. The inner diameter of the cylindrical body 4, excluding the portion of the inward projection 47, is sized so that the opening 123 of the preform main body 120 can be inserted. The cylindrical body 4 moves rapidly until the opening 123 of the preform main body 120 contacts the tapered arc surface 47a of the inward projection 47 of the cylindrical body 4.The tapered arc surface 47a gradually protrudes radially inward and defines an inner peripheral surface smaller than the outer diameter of the opening. The inward projection 47 of the cylindrical body 4 is forcibly pushed along the first outer peripheral surface 24a of the inner-layer-side opening flange 24 of the opening 123. Accordingly, the inward projection 47 of the cylindrical body 4 climbs over the inner-layer-side opening flange 24 of the preform main body 120 and is fitted into the lower surface thereof. At the same time, the lower opening end surface 46 of the cylindrical body 4 contacts the opening-side upward end surface 26b of the preform main body 120 from above. The rotation-limiting engagement projection 28 on the preform main body 120 side is fitted into the rotation-limiting engagement groove 48 of the cylindrical body 4 from below. As a result, the cylindrical body 4 is fitted and fixed into the second outer peripheral surface 25a of the opening 123 in a state where it is positioned in the up-down direction and in the circumferential direction, and the tagged preform 100 is obtained, which has an opening with a two-layer structure in which the tag 6 is arranged between the inner layer and the outer layer.

[0037] Subsequently, the tagged preform 100 is heated to a temperature suitable for biaxial stretch blow molding. After heating, the tagged preform 100 is placed in a blow mold (not shown), the mold is clamped, and biaxial stretch blow molding is performed (step ST4).

[0038] In this case, portions of the tagged preform 100 except the opening 123 and the cylindrical body 4 are heated from the outside using a heater or the like. For example, the opening 123 and the cylindrical body 4 of the tagged preform 100 are shielded from heat by a shielding plate or the like. The tag 6 disposed between these portions is not exposed to high temperatures and does not suffer damage such as thermal deformation. In the tagged preform 100, the body 122 and the bottom 121 are portions with a single-layer structure. Therefore, unlike heating a preform with a two- or multi-layer structure, each part of the bottom 121 and the body 122 is heated evenly, and a temperature state suitable for blow molding is efficiently achieved. After heating, the tagged preform 100 is placed into the blow mold (not shown), the mold is clamped, and biaxial stretch blow molding is performed. Accordingly, the tagged preform 100 is formed into the tagged container 1.

[0039] In the tagged container 1, the container bottom 21 and the container body 22 are portions formed by biaxially stretch blow molding the bottom 121 and the body 122 of the tagged preform 100. The inner layer-side container opening 23, to which the cylindrical body 4 is attached, is a portion in which the cylindrical body 4 and the opening 123 of the tagged preform 100 remain unchanged. That is, the cylindrical body 4 and the opening 123 of the tagged preform 100 are portions held by a portion of the blow mold (not shown) and remain in their original shape without being subjected to a stretch blow molding process. Accordingly, the tag 6 disposed between the cylindrical body 4 and the opening 123 is not subjected to high-pressure air and is not stretched. Accordingly, no adverse effects such as damage or detachment of tag 6 occur during a blow molding process. After blow molding, the tagged container 1 is removed from the mold and collected at a specific location.

[0040] In the tagged container 1, to increase the adhesive strength between the cylindrical body 4 and the inner-layer-side container opening 23, an adhesive or bonding agent may be applied between the cylindrical body 4 and the inner-layer-side container opening 23. For example, before attaching the cylindrical body (step ST3), an application process is performed in which a chemical agent such as an adhesive or bonding agent is applied to an outer peripheral surface of the preform main body 120. (Effects of Embodiment 1)

[0041] The tagged container 1 in the configuration described above is provided, for example, in a state where it is filled with contents such as beverages, cosmetics, or liquid medicines and sealed. The tag 6, disposed within the container opening having a layered structure (in the present example, a two-layer structure) composed of the inner-layer container opening 23 and the cylindrical body 4 constituting the outer-layer container opening, is capable of carrying various types of information, such as information related to the contents or handling history. The transmitted information can be read and confirmed from the outside via wireless communication. When a rewritable RFID tag is used, the carried information can be updated or rewritten as needed. The security of the information carried is ensured by the use of a locking function that prevents the information carried from being overwritten.

[0042] The tag 6 is arranged between the inner-layer side container opening 23 and the cylindrical body 4, which are not subjected to biaxial stretch blow molding. Unlike the case where the cylindrical body 4 is integrated by injection molding and a container opening with a layered structure is formed, the tag 6 is appropriately arranged between the layers of the container opening with a layered structure without suffering adverse effects such as damage or misalignment due to high temperature and high pressure during injection molding. Unlike the case where the tag 6 is arranged in the container body 22 or the container bottom 21, since it is not subjected to high heat, high pressure, and stretching in biaxial stretch blow molding, adverse effects such as damage, deformation, or misalignment due to these factors do not occur.Accordingly, the tagged container 1 can be obtained in which the tag 6 is suitably arranged between the layers of the container opening.

[0043] When an information-carrying tag such as an RFID tag is disposed on an outer peripheral surface of a container, there is a problem that tampering, tampering, or the like is likely to occur. However, in the tagged container 1 of the present example, since the tag 6 is disposed between the layers (between the cylindrical body 4 located on the outer side of the container and the inner side of the container opening 23) of the container opening having a two-layer structure, tampering, tampering, or the like is less likely to occur. In addition, since the container opening having a two-layer structure has higher rigidity and strength and is less likely to deform compared to the container body 22 and the container bottom 21 having a single-layer structure, there is little risk of the container opening becoming significantly deformed and the tag 6 being damaged.Since the container opening is covered, protected and reinforced with a cap (not shown) having a two-layer structure, the safety of the tag 6 arranged in the container opening is ensured.

[0044] Furthermore, in the present example, the cylindrical body 4 can be disassembled from the inner-layer-side container opening 23. The gap G having a predetermined width in the up-down direction is formed between the engaging projection 28 for rotation restriction of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 and a groove bottom surface of the engaging groove 48 for rotation restriction of the cylindrical body 4. For example, when a tool is inserted into the gap G and the gap G is widened in the up-down direction, the cylindrical body 4 is forcibly pushed out upward. The inward projection 47 formed on the upper end surface of the cylindrical body 4 and the opening-side downward end surface 24b of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 are deformed, and the portion therebetween is forcibly detached.Accordingly, the cylindrical body 4 detaches from the inner-layer-side container opening 23 and can be removed upward. When a large force is applied to forcibly deform and detach the inward protrusion 47 and the opening-side downward end surface 24b, these portions are plastically deformed or damaged, making it impossible to re-engage the tubular body-side upward end surface 47b of the inward protrusion 47 with the opening-side downward end surface 24b, thereby preventing reinsertion of the cylindrical body 4.In this way, it is possible to provide anti-counterfeiting protection for the engaged portion between the tubular body-side upward end surface 47b of the inward projection 47 and the opening-side downward end surface 24b, so that re-engagement after disengagement is prevented.

[0045] By separating the cylindrical body 4 from the inner-layer-side container opening 23 to which the tag 6 is attached, and removing the tag 6 from the outer peripheral surface of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 after removing the cylindrical body 4, the cylindrical body 4, the container main body 2 including the inner-layer-side container opening 23, and the tag 6 can be collected separately, which is advantageous for reusing materials of these components.

[0046] The gap G, used in removing the cylindrical body 4, is generally covered and protected by a tamper-evident cap (PP cap) body screwed onto a neck screw portion, as typically seen in a PET beverage bottle, and an annular tamper-evident (TE) band connected to a lower end of a skirt portion of the cap body via a breakable bridge. Upon opening the bottle, a perforation is cut at a lower part of the cap, indicating that the bottle has been opened. Since the gap G is always protected by the TE band before and after the cap is opened, tamper-evident protection is also ensured. [Embodiment 2]

[0047] Next, a tagged container according to Embodiment 2 to which the disclosure is applied, a tagged preform used in manufacturing the tagged container, and a manufacturing method of the tagged container will be described. (Tagged container)

[0048] Fig. 6(A) is a side view of the tagged container, Fig. 6(B) is a longitudinal sectional view of the tagged container, Fig. 6(C) is a plan view showing an upper surface of an opening of the tagged container, and Fig. 6(D) is an enlarged partial cross-sectional view showing the opening. Similar to Embodiment 1, in a tagged container 200, a tag is arranged at a container opening having a layered structure including an inner-layer-side container opening and an outer-layer-side container opening. The tagged container 200 includes a bottle-shaped container main body 220, a cylindrical body 240 for forming the outer-layer-side container opening, and a tag 260. The container main body 220 and the cylindrical body 240 are made of a thermoplastic resin material, and the same thermoplastic resin material as in Embodiment 1 can be used.

[0049] The container main body 220 is a biaxially stretch blow-molded product and includes a container bottom 221, a cylindrical container body 222, and a thin cylindrical container opening 223 formed at an upper end of the container body 222 on the inner layer side. The container bottom 221 and the container body 222 are portions that have undergone a biaxial stretch blow molding process. The inner layer-side container opening 223 is a portion that has not undergone biaxial stretch blow molding.

[0050] As in Fig. 6(D), on an outer peripheral surface of the inner layer-side container opening 223, from an upward end surface, are formed: a first outer peripheral surface 224; a second outer peripheral surface 225 located on the lower side of the first outer peripheral surface 224 and having a smaller diameter than the first outer peripheral surface 224; and a third outer peripheral surface 226 located on the lower side of the second outer peripheral surface 225 and having a larger diameter than the second outer peripheral surface 225. A lower end of the third outer peripheral surface 226 is connected to an outer peripheral surface of the container body 222. An opening-side downward end surface 227 in a ring shape is formed between the first outer peripheral surface 224 and the second outer peripheral surface 225.Between the second outer peripheral surface 225 and the third outer peripheral surface 226, an opening-side upwardly directed, annular end surface 228 is formed.

[0051] A support ring 250 having a large diameter is formed at a lower end of the cylindrical body 240. On an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 240, from an upper opening end surface 241 toward a lower opening end surface 242, there are formed: a first inner peripheral surface 243; a second inner peripheral surface 244 located at the bottom of the first inner peripheral surface 243 and having a smaller diameter than the first inner peripheral surface 243; and a third inner peripheral surface 245 located at the bottom of the second inner peripheral surface 244 and having a larger diameter than the second inner peripheral surface 244. A tubular body-side upper end surface 246 in a ring shape is formed between the first inner peripheral surface 243 and the second inner peripheral surface 244.A tubular, annular body-side lower end surface 247 is formed between the second inner peripheral surface 244 and the third inner peripheral surface 245. An external thread 248 for mounting a screw cap (not shown) is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 240.

[0052] Here, at a lower portion of the second inner peripheral surface 244 of the cylindrical body 240, an inward projection 249 is formed, which has a tapered inner peripheral surface 249a whose radially inward projection gradually increases downward. A lower end surface of the inner projection 249 serves as the tubular downward end surface 247 of the body. In the present example, the third outer peripheral surface 226 at a lower end surface of the inner-layer-side container opening 223 serves as a tapered outer peripheral surface that gradually retreats radially inward downward.

[0053] In a state where the cylindrical body 240 is attached to the inner-layer-side container opening 223, the tubular body-side upward end surface 246 of the cylindrical body 240 engages (contacts) with the opening-side downward end surface 227 of the inner-layer-side container opening 223 from below. The tubular body-side downward end surface 247 of the cylindrical body 240 contacts the opening-side upward end surface 228 of the inner-layer-side container opening 223 from above. By engaging these portions in the up-down direction, the cylindrical body 240 is attached to the inner-layer-side container opening 223 in a state where it is positioned in the up-down direction. Falling out of the cylindrical body 240 with respect to the inner layer side container opening 223 in the up-down direction can also be prevented.

[0054] As in Fig. As shown in Fig. 6(C), a flat inner peripheral surface 243c for rotation restriction is formed on the first inner peripheral surface 243 of the cylindrical body 240 at two locations in the diametrical direction. Similarly, an outer flat peripheral surface 224c for rotation restriction with a complementary shape is formed on the first outer peripheral surface 224 of the inner-layer-side container opening 223. By fitting the first outer peripheral surface 224 of the inner-layer-side container opening 223 into the first inner peripheral surface 243 at the upper end of the cylindrical body 240, the cylindrical body 240 is fixed to the inner-layer-side container opening 223 in a coaxial state of positioning in the circumferential direction, and misalignment of the cylindrical body 240 in the circumferential direction is also prevented.

[0055] In the state where the cylindrical body 4 is attached to the inner-layer-side container opening 223, a gap 270 for mounting the tag, which has a small diameter, is formed between the second inner peripheral surface 244 of the cylindrical body 240 and the second outer peripheral surface 225 of the inner-layer-side container opening 223. The tag 260 is housed here. The gap 270 is set to, for example, 0.1 mm to 5 mm. The same tag as the tag 6 of Embodiment 1 can be used for the tag 260. (Example of a tagged preform)

[0056] Fig. 7(A) is a side view of a tagged preform used in the manufacture of the tagged container 200, and Fig. 7(B) is a longitudinal sectional view of the tagged preform. A tagged preform 300 includes: a preform main body 320, which is an injection-molded product made of thermoplastic resin; the cylindrical body 240, which is an injection-molded product made of thermoplastic resin; and the tag 260.

[0057] The preform main body 320 includes a bottom 321, a cylindrical trunk 322, and a cylindrical opening 323 formed at an upper end of the trunk 322. The bottom 321 and the trunk 322 of the preform main body 320 are portions formed by biaxial stretch blow molding and serve as the container bottom 221 and the container trunk 222 of the container main body 220. The opening 323 of the preform main body 320 is a portion that directly serves as the inner-layer-side container opening 223 of the container opening of the container main body 220 without undergoing biaxial stretch blow molding. The opening 323 has the same structure as the inner-layer-side container opening 223. The cylindrical body 240 is a portion that directly serves as the outer-layer-side container opening of the container opening without undergoing biaxial stretch blow molding. (Example of the manufacturing process of a tagged container)

[0058] Fig. 8 is an explanatory diagram showing an overview of the manufacturing process of the tagged container 200. The preform main body 320 is manufactured by injection molding using a thermoplastic resin. Separately, the cylindrical body 240 serving as the outer-layer-side container opening is manufactured by injection molding using a thermoplastic resin. The tag 260 is prepared (step ST101). The tag 260 is positioned and attached to the second outer peripheral surface 225 of the opening 323 of the preform main body 320 with an adhesive (step ST102).

[0059] Subsequently, the cylindrical body 240 is attached to the preform main body 320 (step ST103). The cylindrical body 240 is positioned circumferentially so that both rotation limiters (224c, 243c) are aligned with each other. In this state, the preform main body 320 is coaxially inserted into the cylindrical body 240 from the bottom side 321.

[0060] As described above, the inward protrusion 249 is formed at the lower portion of the second inner peripheral surface 244 of the cylindrical body 240. The inward protrusion 249 includes the tapered inner peripheral surface 249a whose radially inward protrusion gradually increases downward. The lower end surface of the inner protrusion 249 serves as the tubular downward end surface 247 of the body. The third outer peripheral surface 226 at the lower end surface of the inner-layer-side container opening 223 serves as a tapered outer peripheral surface that gradually tapers radially inward downward. The second inner peripheral surface 244 of the cylindrical body 240, which has a small diameter, is set to an inner diameter dimension that allows the preform main body 320 to be passed therethrough from the bottom side.

[0061] When the preform main body 320 is inserted into the cylindrical body 240 from above, the third outer peripheral surface 226 (tapered outer peripheral surface) at a lower end of the opening 323 contacts the tapered inner peripheral surface 249a of the inner projection 249 at the lower end of the cylindrical body 240. Since these surfaces have complementary conical shapes, when the cylindrical body 240 is pressed with a predetermined force, the inner projection 249 of the cylindrical body 240 is guided along the third outer peripheral surface 226, which is a tapered outer peripheral surface formed at the lower end of the opening, climbs over the third outer peripheral surface 226, and is fitted into the upper side of the third outer peripheral surface 226.This achieves a state in which the inward projection 249 of the cylindrical body 240 contacts the opening-side upward end surface 228 of the opening 323 from above. At the same time, a state in which the tubular body-side upward end surface 246 of the cylindrical body 240 contacts the opening-side downward end surface 227 of the opening 323 from below is achieved.

[0062] Accordingly, the cylindrical body 240 is positioned in the up-down direction with respect to the inner-layer-side container opening 223. At the same time, the cylindrical body 240 is prevented from falling out upward. In addition, the rotation limiter (224c, 243c) that prevents rotation of the cylindrical body 240 with respect to the opening 323 is formed between the first outer peripheral surface 224 of the opening 323 and the first inner peripheral surface 243 of the cylindrical body 240. The cylindrical body 240 is also positioned in the circumferential direction, and its misalignment in the circumferential direction is also prevented. In this way, the tagged preform 300 having an opening with a two-layer structure in which the tag 260 is arranged between the inner layer and the outer layer is obtained.

[0063] Subsequently, the tagged preform 300 is heated to a temperature suitable for biaxial stretch blow molding. After heating, the tagged preform 300 is placed in a blow mold (not shown), the mold is clamped, and biaxial stretch blow molding is performed (step ST104). That is, portions of the tagged preform 300 except for the opening 323 and the cylindrical body 240 are heated from the outside using a heater or the like. The tag 260 arranged between these portions is not exposed to high temperatures and suffers no damage such as thermal deformation. In the tagged preform 300, the body 322 and the bottom 321 are portions with a single-layer structure. Therefore, unlike the case where a preform having a two- or multi-layer structure is heated, each part of the bottom 321 and the body 322 is heated uniformly, and a temperature state suitable for blow molding is efficiently achieved.

[0064] The tagged preform 300 is placed in the blow mold (not shown) after heating, the mold is clamped, and biaxial stretch blow molding is performed. Accordingly, the tagged preform 300 is formed into the tagged container 200. The cylindrical body 240 and the opening 323 of the tagged preform 300 are portions held by a portion of the blow mold (not shown) and remain in their original shape without being subjected to stretch blow molding. Accordingly, the tag 260 disposed between the cylindrical body 240 and the opening 323 is not subjected to high-pressure air and is not stretched. Accordingly, no adverse effects such as damage or peeling of the tag 260 occur during a blow molding process. In the tagged container 200 of the present example, similar effects to those of the tagged container 1 of Embodiment 1 are achieved. [Other embodiments]

[0065] In the tagged containers 1 and 200, in which the container opening has a layered structure including an inner-layer-side container opening and an outer-layer-side container opening, an upper surface of the opening is defined by an upper surface of the inner-layer-side container openings 23 and 223 and an upper surface of the cylindrical bodies 4 and 240 (which are outer-layer-side container openings). If a gap is formed at a connecting portion of these upper surfaces, there is a risk of foreign matter entering between an inner and an outer layer from the gap. To reliably prevent such adverse effects, a plug for sealing may be attached to the upper surface of the opening.

[0066] Fig. 9(A) is a side view showing an example in which a plug for sealing is attached to an upper surface of the tagged container 200, Fig. 9(B) is a longitudinal sectional view of the example, and Fig. 9(C) is a longitudinal sectional view of the sealing plug.

[0067] A plug 400 for sealing includes: an inner cylindrical part 401 fitted and fixed from above into the interior of the inner-layer-side container opening 223 of the tagged container 200; an annular flange 402 extending outward from an upper end of the inner cylindrical part 401; and an outer annular part 403 projecting downward from an outer peripheral edge of the annular flange 402. A downward-facing annular recess 404 is coaxially formed around the outer periphery of the inner cylindrical part 401. An upper portion of the container opening of the tagged container 200 is fitted and fixed from below into the annular recess 404. Accordingly, an upper end of the tagged container 200 is sealed by the plug 400, and the upper surface of the container opening is defined by an upper surface 400a of an annular shape of the plug 400.A joint surface between an upper surface 240a of the cylindrical body 240 forming the outer layer side container opening and an upper surface 223a of the inner layer side container opening 223 is sealed, and the intrusion of foreign matters such as liquids from this joint surface is prevented.

[0068] Fig.10 is a half longitudinal sectional view of a container opening showing an example in which a plug for sealing is attached to the top of the tagged container 1. An upper end surface of the inner-layer-side opening flange 24 formed at the upper end of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 in the container main body 2 protrudes upward, and a plug attachment part 24A for attaching the plug is formed. Here, a plug 500 for sealing is inserted and attached from above. A joint surface between an upper surface of the inner-layer-side container opening 23 of the container main body 2 and the cylindrical body 4 is sealed by the plug 500, and intrusion of foreign matter such as liquids from the joint surface is prevented.
