Abstract

A robot 12 comprises joint sections 14A and 14B, an actuator that drives the joint sections 14A and 14B, a wiring element arranged outside the actuator, and a cover 50 that covers at least the actuator. The cover 50 includes main body sections 60A and 60B and wiring support sections 62A and 62B that curve away from the actuator in a direction relative to the main body sections 60A and 60B, with the wiring element being supported in the wiring support sections 62A and 62B. The cover 50 can be subdivided into at least one first split body 80 and one second split body 82.
