Abstract
Photovoltaic film (1) comprising a first and a second flexible substrate (2, 3), wherein the first and the second flexible substrate (2, 3) are at least partially superimposed, wherein the photovoltaic film (1) further comprises: a continuous first electrode (4) arranged in physical contact with the first substrate (2), wherein the first electrode (4) has a longitudinal extent in substantially the z-direction, and wherein the first electrode (4) is centered about a first center line pointing in the z-direction; a continuous second electrode (5) arranged in physical contact with the second substrate (3), wherein the second electrode (5) has a longitudinal extent in the z-direction, and wherein the second electrode (5) is centered about a second center line pointing in the z-direction; at least one active layer (8),which is arranged between the first electrode (4) and the second electrode (5); wherein the photovoltaic film (1) further comprises at least two photovoltaic modules, each photovoltaic module comprising: - a pair of connectors comprising a first and a second electrically conductive connector, wherein a first terminal part of the first electrically conductive connector is arranged in physical contact with the first electrode (4), and a first terminal part of the second electrically conductive connector is in physical contact with the second electrode (5), wherein the point of physical contact between the first terminal part of the first electrically conductive connector and the first electrode and the point of physical contact between the first terminal part of the second electrically conductive connector and the second electrode are arranged on opposite sides of a plane, which coincides with the first and second midline,- a continuous frame (9a, 9b) made of a first non-conductive adhesive material, which is arranged between the first and second electrodes and between the first and second substrates (2, 3), which bonds the first and second substrates (2, 3) together, and wherein the frame extends over at least a part of the first electrode and over at least a part of the second electrode and frames a respective part of the first electrode and a respective part of the second electrode.
