Description

[0001] Interdental brushes are usually one-piece (1). This means that the brush, wire, and holder are firmly connected. If the brush breaks, the entire thing must be disposed of.

[0002] With my invention it is different.

[0003] This is in two parts(2).

[0004] Here, if the brush is broken (13), it can be replaced and the holder can continue to be used.

[0005] The holder is designed in two parts.

[0006] It consists of the base (4) and the lid (5).

[0007] The lower part (4) has a pot-like middle part with two locking tabs (10), designed as a type of bayonet closure.

[0008] Attached to the side of the middle section is a cylinder with a conical end.

[0009] In the middle there is a hole (6) for the brush wire (12), which ends as a wire channel (9) in the middle part.

[0010] At the transition to the middle part there is a flattening (15) with the transverse clamping groove (7).

[0011] The lid (5) has a cup-shaped central section with two locking tabs (10), designed as a type of bayonet closure. On one side, there is a cover tab (14) on which a clamping cam (8) is attached, and on the other side, a short cylindrical section that serves as an opening aid (11).

[0012] If the brush is broken (13), the upper part (5) is turned 90 degrees and pulled upwards to replace it.

[0013] The wire residue (12) is removed from the wire channel (9) and a new brush (3) with wire is pushed into the hole.

[0014] The upper part is placed on the lower part (4) and turned back 90 degrees.

[0015] The clamping cam (8) slides through the clamping channel (7) and clamps the wire of the brush (3) in position.

[0016] The interdental brush is now ready for use again.

[0017] For different brush sizes, lower parts are manufactured to match the brush thickness.

[0018] The invention is based on the Fig. 1 to 5 explained.

[0019] They show: Fig. 1 interdental brush one-piece / two-piece. Fig. 2.....Sectional drawing of holder made of base and lid. Fig. 3 ....shows brush broken. Fig. 4 ....View of the base and lid. Fig. 5 ....shows the lid being opened and opened.
