Description

[0001] The invention relates to a screwable valve cover for brass wind instruments, wherein it is particularly provided that the cover is suitable for the inconspicuous storage of a tracking device (for theft protection) on a brass wind instrument.

[0002] Instrument thefts have increased significantly in recent years, and tracking them down is often difficult. A tracking device simply placed in a case can be easily found and removed. This usually makes the instrument untraceable after a theft.

[0003] The object of the invention is therefore to provide a device for attaching a locating device directly to the instrument, which is unobtrusive and fits into the normal appearance of the instrument.

[0004] For a valve cover, the invention therefore provides that a chamber for accommodating a locating device is provided in the length of the cover.

[0005] Such a device allows for the discreet attachment of a tracking device directly to the instrument and is easily replaceable.
