[0053] According to one embodiment, the secondary coupling portion comprises an elongate channel extending in the transverse direction of the base, the radial boundary wall of which is openable along a connecting region extending in the extension direction of the elongate channel in order to receive the transverse component, wherein the connecting region may comprise a zipper or a hook-and-loop fastener in order to open and close the connecting region.
[0054] According to one embodiment, a stroller may be provided with a first luggage storage device, and the first luggage storage device may be replaced by a second luggage storage device with increased storage space to create a stroller with an enlarged luggage storage device. The second luggage storage device may have an additional coupling portion at the front end, which enables attachment of a front portion of the second luggage storage device that is extended relative to the first luggage storage device.
[0055] According to one embodiment, a stroller system is designed such that a larger luggage storage device can be attached to a stroller with four attachment sections. This larger luggage storage device is not only attached to the four attachment sections of the stroller, but is also attached to at least one other location, for example, a fifth location, on the stroller. In this way, a luggage storage device can be attached to a stroller that, per se, is not actually intended for attachment solely to the attachment sections specifically provided on the stroller.
[0056] Thus, a method for replacing a first luggage storage device on a stroller with a second luggage storage device is also disclosed, wherein the first luggage storage device has a smaller number of coupling sections than the second luggage storage device, wherein the first luggage storage device is detached from fastening sections provided on the stroller, for example four fastening sections, and the second luggage storage device is fastened to the fastening sections of the stroller to which the first luggage storage section was previously fastened, and the second luggage storage device is additionally coupled to a further location, for example a footrest of the stroller, in particular a water drainage opening of the footrest.
[0057] The system may be designed to provide luggage storage devices of different sizes, all of which make use of the attachment portions of the stroller, wherein at least one luggage storage device has an additional coupling portion that is attached to the stroller at a position different from the attachment portions. [0060] An embodiment and modifications are described with reference to the figures.
[0061] A basic idea behind some embodiments is to create a system in which the luggage storage device of a stroller can be exchanged for another luggage storage device with increased storage space. In this way, a user of the stroller can adapt the luggage storage device to their needs. For example, a user can use a luggage storage device with smaller storage space and smaller dimensions when traveling with the stroller on uneven ground, for example when traveling with the stroller in the great outdoors. If the user needs as much storage space as possible, they can attach a larger luggage storage device to the stroller. Such a luggage storage device with increased storage space can take up more space under the stroller, which can limit the ground clearance of the stroller.Such a luggage storage device can therefore be used in particular in environments where the stroller is pushed on a flat floor, for example when shopping.
[0062] A further basic idea of some embodiments is that existing fastening sections on the stroller are used equally for luggage storage devices of different sizes, wherein luggage storage devices with enlarged dimensions can have additional coupling sections in order to be able to additionally fasten the luggage storage device to other sections of the stroller.
[0063] Another basic idea behind some embodiments is that certain sections of the stroller, which are actually intended for another purpose, are used to attach a luggage storage device to the stroller. The originally intended function of the specific section of the stroller can thereby be rendered ineffective or its functionality restricted.
[0064] Fig. 1 shows a side view from the right of a stroller 1 with a first luggage storage device 40a. Fig. 2 shows a side view from the left of the stroller 1 with a second luggage storage device 40b. Fig. 5 shows a top view of a front section of the stroller 1. Fig. 6 shows a perspective view of a lower rear area of the stroller 1.
[0065] The stroller 1 has a seat structure 2 and a canopy assembly 3, both supported by a frame 10. A front wheel 4, a right rear wheel 5, and a left rear wheel 6 are attached to the frame 10. The frame 10 has a handle 7 in its rear region for handling the stroller 1.
[0066] The frame 10 has a main frame 11. In the embodiment shown, the seat structure 2 and the top assembly 3 are supported on the main frame 11.
[0067] The main frame 11 has a front main frame section 12 and a rear main frame section 14.
[0068] The front main frame section 12 is coupled to a front end of the rear main frame section 14 via a joint 20. The handle 7 is provided at the rear end of the rear main frame section 14. The rear main frame section 14 can have a right main strut 24 and a left main strut 25. In the embodiment shown, the handle 7 connects the rear ends of the main struts 24, 25. The seat structure 2 and / or the convertible top assembly 3 are supported on the main struts 24, 25.
[0069] The front main frame section 12 may have an arcuate arrangement 22 with a frame base and two legs extending from the frame base. The front main frame section 12 may be V-shaped, as shown in Fig. 5. The two free ends of the legs can be coupled to the rear main frame section 14 via a respective joint 20. The front wheel 4 is coupled to the front main frame section 12, for example, in the area of the frame base.
[0070] A footrest 13 can be provided between the legs, extending transversely of the frame 10. The footrest 13 can be coupled to the legs, i.e., extending from one leg to the other. The footrest can have a recess or indentation. The footrest 13 can be tub-shaped and open at the top, at least in sections. This allows a seated child to rest their heels comfortably on the footrest 13.
[0071] At its lowest point in the tub-like section, the footrest 13 can have a through-opening 38. The through-opening 38 can form a water drainage opening through which water that may accumulate in the tub-like section can be easily drained away. In this way, water accumulation in the footrest 13 can be prevented. The through-opening 38 can be provided in the form of a slot that extends in the transverse direction of the stroller 1.
[0072] The frame 10 further includes a support frame 15. The support frame 15 supports the main frame 11. The support frame 15 couples the rear wheels 5, 6 to the main frame 10.
[0073] The support frame 15 has a front support frame section 16 and a rear support frame section 18. The front support frame section 16 connects a rear axle 21 to the front main frame section 12. The rear support frame section 18 connects the rear axle 21 to the rear main frame section 14.
[0074] The front support frame section 16 has a right lower connecting strut 26 and a left lower connecting strut 27. The right lower connecting strut 26 connects a right end of the rear axle 21 to the right leg of the front main frame section 12. The left lower connecting strut 27 connects a left end of the rear axle 21 to the left leg of the front main frame section 12.
[0075] The rear support frame section 18 has a right upper connecting strut 28 and a left upper connecting strut 29. The right upper connecting strut 28 connects a right end of the rear axle 21 to the right main strut 24, while the left upper connecting strut 29 connects a left end of the rear axle 21 to the left main strut 25.
[0076] The connecting struts 26, 27, 28, 29 can be articulated to the rear axle 21 and / or the main frame 11.
[0077] As from Fig. 6, the rear support frame section 18 may have a rear cross brace 23. The rear cross brace 23 extends horizontally in the transverse direction of the stroller 1 from the right upper connecting brace 28 to the left upper connecting brace 29.
[0078] Mounting sections 30, 32, 34, 36 are provided on the frame 10. The mounting sections 30, 32, 34, 36 are intended for attaching a luggage storage device 40a, 40b.
[0079] In the embodiment shown, two front fastening sections 30, 36 and two rear fastening sections 32, 34 are provided.
[0080] A front right attachment portion 30 is arranged at a front end portion, in particular at the front end or near the front end, of the right lower connecting strut 26.
[0081] A front left attachment portion 36 is arranged at a front end portion, in particular at the front end or near the front end, of the left lower connecting strut 27.
[0082] A rear right attachment portion 32 is arranged at a rear end portion, in particular at the rear end or near the rear end, of the right lower connecting strut 26.
[0083] A rear left attachment portion 34 is arranged at a rear end portion, in particular at the rear end or near the rear end, of the left lower connecting strut 27.
[0084] The fastening sections 30, 32, 34, 36 can be arranged in corners of an imaginary isosceles trapezoid, wherein the front fastening sections are arranged at a smaller distance from one another.
[0085] The fastening sections 30, 32, 34, 36 define a fastening pattern for attaching luggage storage devices. In other words, luggage storage devices require corresponding sections that can be coupled to the fastening sections. These corresponding sections are provided on the luggage storage devices according to the fastening pattern so that they can be coupled to the fastening sections.
[0086] Below, possible features of an enlarged luggage storage device are described with reference to Fig. 3 described.
[0087] The base 41 may have a lower part 47. At least a portion of the lower part 47 may form a bottom of the base 41. The base 41 may have two side walls 45, 46 that define an interior of the base 41 on two opposite sides of the lower part 47. Furthermore, the base 41 may have a rear wall 48. In addition, the base 41 may have an upper part in the form of a cover 44.
[0088] Coupling sections are provided on the base 41 for coupling to the fastening sections. Each luggage storage device has two rear coupling sections 52, 54 and two front coupling sections 50, 56. The rear coupling sections 52, 54 are coupled to the base 41 in a rear, lower region of the luggage storage device. The two front coupling sections 50, 56 are coupled to the base 41 in a front, upper region of the luggage storage device. The front and rear coupling sections are arranged according to the fastening pattern defined by the fastening sections. In the embodiment shown, the fastening sections and the coupling sections are arranged symmetrically to a vertical center plane running in the longitudinal direction of the stroller.
[0089] In addition, the enlarged luggage storage device 40b has an additional coupling portion 58 provided on the base 41 at the frontmost longitudinal end 42. The coupling portion 58 may therefore also be referred to as the frontmost coupling portion 58.
[0090] The frontmost coupling portion 58 is configured to be coupled to the footrest 13. More specifically, according to the embodiment, the frontmost coupling portion 58 is configured to be coupled to a through-hole 38 provided in the footrest 13. In this way, with a large luggage storage device 40b, a portion of the luggage storage device extending in front of the front fastening portions can be suspended from the footrest. In the embodiment shown, the frontmost coupling portion 58 is located equidistant from both sides of the base 41. In other words, the frontmost coupling portion 58 is provided centrally on the base 41.
[0091] Fig. 4 shows a possible design of a fastening section 30, 32, 34, 36 and a possible design of the coupling sections 50, 53, 54, 56, 58.
[0092] The fastening sections 30, 32, 34, 36 can comprise a substantially flat base body made of a rigid material. Alternatively, the base body can also be designed in the manner of a mounting bracket that can be fastened to the struts at the previously described positions. The fastening sections 30, 32, 34, 36 can be made of a plastic material or of metal. The fastening sections 30, 32, 34, 36 have a slot-like opening 31. In other words, the fastening sections 30, 32, 34, 36 provide slot-like openings 31 at the respective positions on the support frame 15. The fastening sections 30, 32, 34, 36 can be provided on the stroller 1 such that their respective opening extends below the strut to which they are attached. The fastening sections 30, 32, 34, 36 can also be designed to be pivotable or rotatable or to be held on the respective strut, so that the openings 31 or the fastening section can be moved relative to the respective strut into a position in which it is easier for a user to attach or remove the luggage storage device.
[0093] The coupling sections 50, 53, 54, 56, 58 may comprise a webbing 60. One end of the webbing 60 is attached to the base 41 at the previously described positions. A free end of the webbing 60 forms an engagement section 62, which is configured to be passed through the opening 31. The engagement section 62 may be formed by folding and sewing the free end of the webbing 60.
[0094] The engagement portion 62 has a stop portion 64. The stop portion 64 serves as a locking component and is movably mounted on the webbing. More specifically, the stop portion 64 can be moved into an insertion position in which it extends parallel to the webbing or generally extends such that a dimension of the engagement portion 62 in the transverse direction to the main extension direction of the webbing is smaller than in a locking position.
[0095] The insertion position is in Fig. 4 shown in the middle illustration. The locking position is in Fig. 4 shown in the left illustration.
[0096] To disassemble a coupling section from a fastening section, the fastening section can be removed from the position shown in the left illustration. Fig. 4 shown locking position into the insertion position, whereby the engagement portion receives a dimension in the transverse direction that is smaller than a dimension of the opening 31, so that the engagement portion can be passed through the opening. In this way, the coupling portion can be released from a fastening portion, as shown in the right-hand illustration in Fig. 4. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
[0097] It should be noted that the previously described engagement portion is also suitable for attachment in other slot-like openings. For example, the fifth and / or foremost coupling portion 58 can be formed with the described engagement portion, since this also allows coupling with the slot-like water drain opening 38. All coupling portions 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 can have such an engagement portion 62 with the stop portion 64. All engagement portions 62 can be formed identically.
[0098] Like the Fig. 1 and Fig. As can be seen directly from Figure 2, the second luggage storage device 40b is larger than the first luggage storage device 40a. The second luggage storage device 40b extends further forward in the longitudinal direction. A front end of the second luggage storage device 40b is therefore positioned closer to a front end of the stroller than the front end of the first luggage storage device 40a. The second luggage storage device 40b has a larger storage space than the first luggage storage device 40a.
[0099] The Fig. 1 and Fig. The stroller system shown in Figure 2 comprises a stroller 1, a first luggage storage device 40a, and a second luggage storage device 40b. The first luggage storage device 40a has a smaller storage space than the second luggage storage device 40b. The first luggage storage device 40a has a shorter length than the second luggage storage device 40b.
[0100] In Fig. 1 shows an embodiment in which the first luggage storage device 40a is attached to the stroller 1. In Fig. 2 shows an arrangement in which the second luggage storage device 40b is attached to the stroller 1.
[0101] As from Fig. 6, the luggage storage devices, when mounted on the stroller 1, extend approximately from a rear axle 21 of the stroller 1 to the front. Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 that a front end of the first luggage storage device is located in the longitudinal direction approximately at the position of the front fastening sections 30, 36 of the stroller, and that a front end of the second luggage storage device is located in the longitudinal direction approximately at the position of the footrest 13. A part of the second luggage storage device therefore extends further forward beyond the front fastening sections 30, 36, which makes it necessary to provide an additional support point at the front end. Such a support point is created by the frontmost coupling section 58, which couples the front end of the second luggage storage arrangement to the opening 38 of the footrest, as shown in Fig. 2 indicated.
[0102] In addition, a secondary coupling section 70 may be provided at the rear end of a luggage storage device 40a, 40b, which is adapted to be coupled to the rear cross member 23 of the stroller 1. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 6, the secondary coupling portion 70 may include an elongated channel 72 extending transversely of the base 41, the radial boundary wall of which is openable along a connecting portion 74 extending in the extension direction of the elongated channel to receive the cross member 23. The connecting portion 74 may include a zipper or a hook-and-loop fastener to open and close the connecting portion 74.
[0103] With the modular system described above, it is possible, for example, to replace a smaller luggage storage device 40a with four coupling sections 50, 52, 54, 56 by a larger luggage storage device 40b with five coupling sections 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, if required.
