Abstract
Description
[0001] This application claims priority from a Chinese patent application filed on August 8, 2024, with the Chinese Patent Office under application number 202421927529.3, the entire contents of which are incorporated into this application by reference. TECHNICAL FIELD
[0002] The present application relates to the technical field of batteries, for example a battery pack. STATE OF THE ART
[0003] In the event of thermal runaway, the battery will quickly release the electrical energy and chemical energy stored within it, causing the internal electrolyte and chemical substances to rapidly decompose and generate a large amount of gas, which in turn causes the internal pressure of the battery to rise sharply. To ensure the safe use of new energy vehicles, signals are transmitted between the battery and the battery management system in the battery module for new energy vehicles through the signal sensing component of a battery contact system (CCS). To prevent the pressure on the inner wall of the battery from becoming too high and causing an explosion, the battery is often equipped with an explosion-proof battery valve set to release the pressure. DISCLOSURE OF THE UTILITY MODELTechnical problems
[0004] However, when assembling the batteries into a battery module, the explosion-proof valve is exposed. Therefore, if a battery is subjected to thermal runaway, the high-temperature electrolyte released after the explosion of the explosion-proof valve will affect neighboring batteries and may reach the CCS signal sensing component, affecting the use of the entire CCS signal sensing component and posing safety risks when using the battery module. Technical solutions
[0005] The present application provides a battery pack with a simple structure and the ability to absorb an electrolyte through the first foam to ensure the safety of use of the CCS component and the battery pack as a whole.
[0006] A battery pack is provided, comprising a battery module and a CCS sensing component, wherein the CCS sensing component comprises a bus bar, a sensing harness, and a first foam, wherein the bus bar is configured for connection to the battery module, wherein the sensing harness is connected to the bus bar, wherein the first foam is arranged on the battery module, wherein the first foam comprises a body part and a first connecting portion, wherein the body part has a first connecting terminal corresponding to the explosion-proof valve of each battery cell in the battery module, wherein the first connecting portion is provided in the first connecting terminal, and wherein the first connecting portion has a connecting end connected to a chamber wall of the first connecting terminal and a free end spaced from the chamber wall of the first connecting terminal, wherein the free end is configured to rotate along the connecting end to buffer and absorb the electrolyte sprayed from the explosion-proof valve. Beneficial effects
[0007] The advantageous effect of the present application is that by disposing the first foam, the electrolyte leaking from the explosion-proof battery valve in the battery module can be blocked and absorbed to a certain extent, thereby reducing the occurrence of electrolyte splashing from individual batteries to other adjacent batteries that affects normal use, and the effects of electrolyte leakage on CCS sensing components such as corrosion can be reduced, thereby better protecting electrical components and improving the safety of use of the CCS sensing component and the entire battery module;the free end is spaced from the chamber wall of the first connection terminal and can rotate along the connection end, so that the free end can rotate around the connection end under the influence of the electrolyte at the moment of explosion of the explosion-proof valve, the free end blocking, buffering and absorbing the electrolyte sprayed during the rotation, thereby reducing the occurrence of electrolyte splashing onto other batteries.; REPRESENTATION OF THE UTILITY MODEL Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a battery pack provided by an embodiment of the present application; Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of another battery pack provided by an embodiment of the present application; Fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a CCS sensing component provided by an embodiment of the present application; Fig. 4 is an enlarged view at point A of Fig. 3; Fig. 5 is an enlarged view at point B of Fig. 4.

[0017] In addition, as in the Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the first foam 23 is arranged on the side of the fixing plate 24 facing away from the battery module 1, that is, the first foam 23 is arranged between the fixing plate 24 and a housing cover, whereby the support between the fixing plate 24 and the housing cover can be effectively improved, and wherein the first connecting portion 232 is blocked by the housing cover when it is folded over under the influence of the electrolyte, so that the first connecting portion 232 can still absorb and buffer the electrolyte under the influence of the electrolyte, thereby preventing the first connecting portion 232 from being completely turned over, causing the electrolyte to splash onto the housing cover and flow to other battery cells 11.In addition, the arrangement of the second connection port 241 can provide an escape space for the explosion of the explosion-proof valve, thereby improving the safety of using the explosion-proof valve.
[0018] The CCS sensing component 2 also includes a second foam 25, wherein the second foam 25 is arranged between the mounting plate 24 and the battery module 1, and wherein the second foam 25 is provided with a third connection port 251 corresponding to the explosion-proof valve of each battery cell 11, the third connection port 251 being connected to the second connection port 241. By arranging the second foam 25, it can, on the one hand, reinforce the connection support between the battery module 1 and the mounting plate 24 and, on the other hand, absorb the electrolyte leaking from the battery cell 11, thereby preventing electrolyte leakage from affecting other battery cells 11 or the CCS sensing component 2 and reducing the risk of thermal runaway of the battery pack.
[0019] The CCS sensing component 2 further includes a cable tying component, and the length of the sensing wire harness 22 extends along the first direction, wherein the mounting plate 24 is provided with a plurality of sets of wire tying hole groups provided spaced apart along the first direction, wherein each of the sets of wire tying hole groups includes at least two wire tying holes 242 provided spaced apart along the second direction, wherein the cable tying component is configured to bundle the sensing wire harness 22 between two wire tying holes 242 in each of the sets of wire tying hole groups, wherein the first direction and the second direction are arranged at an angle. In the present embodiment, it is provided that each of the sets of cable binding hole groups includes two cable binding holes 242 provided spaced apart from each other along the second direction, wherein the cable binding component can be directly made of cable ties, with one cable tie passing through the two cable binding holes 242 to bundle the detection wire harness 22 on the mounting plate 24 and thus improve the connection strength of the detection wire harness 22.
[0020] The fixing plate 24 is provided with a fourth connection terminal 243 corresponding to a tab of each battery cell 11 in the battery module 1, and a part of the bus bar 21 can pass through the fourth connection terminal 243 to connect to the tab. Therefore, the sensing harness 22 comprises two connectors 221 spaced apart along the second direction, and each connector 221 is connected to the bus terminal 223 via a bus wire 222 and connects the same row of busbars 21, thereby reducing the tangling of the bus wire 222.
[0023] As in Fig.4, the bus wire 222 includes a main body 2221, a detection portion 2222, and a second connection portion, the main body 2221 being connected to the connector 221, the detection portion 2222 being connected to the bus terminal 223, and the detection portion 2222 being connected to the main body 2221 via the second connection portion, the length of the main body 2221 extending along the first direction and the length of the detection portion 2222 extending along the second direction, the first direction being perpendicular to the second direction.By vertically arranging the main body 2221 and the detection portion 2222, it is possible to ensure that the length of the bus wire 222 from the bus terminal 223 to the connector 221 is the longest, which allows the bus wire 222 to withstand the pulling of the bus wire 222 caused by the expansion of the battery cell 11, thereby preventing the bus wire 222 from being pulled and causing the bus terminal 223 to fall off, thereby improving the safety of using the detection harness 22. The shorter the length of the second connecting portion, the longer the length of the bus wire 222 required between the bus terminal 223 and the connector 221.
[0024] A glue groove 211 is recessed in the busbar 21, and the bus terminal 223 is inserted into the glue groove 211. By cooperatively arranging the bus terminal 223 and the glue groove 211, the injection position accuracy of the thermally conductive adhesive when the bus terminal 223 is connected to the fixing plate 24 can be improved, and at the same time, the amount of injected thermally conductive adhesive is reduced, that is, the spreading of the thermally conductive adhesive is reduced, and the connection strength and installation position accuracy of the bus terminal 223 and the fixing plate 24 are improved.
