Abstract
Description
Technical FieldThe present invention relates to a tilting window opener which is used for opening windows or doors in a tilting position from the outside. Such tools are often used in rescue operations, for example, when a helpless person is located in a home and the fire fight or other operations organizations wish to provide quick and destruction-free or damage-free access to the interior of the home via a tilted window or tilted door.Prior ArtTilting window openers exist in various embodiments. Some of these tools require the cord to be placed on the opposite side of the window or door handle in order to be able to move the latter into the open position. Other models have a type of lever arm which projects beyond the axis of rotation of the window or door handle, thereby eliminating the time-consuming and cumbersome folding over of the pull cord. However, many known tilting window openers include movable mechanical components that are susceptible to technical defects and require a higher maintenance effort. In stressful situations such as rescue operations, such tools are therefore less reliable. A central problem of existing tools, in which the pull cord or the traction means does not have to be guided onto the opposite side of the window or door handle, is the correct positioning of the tool and the traction means. The lever arm must be oriented in the opening direction of the window or door handle and the traction means must not rest on the horizontal part of the window or door handle, since otherwise, when the traction cord or the traction means is actuated, the traction force cannot be effectively transmitted to the lever arm of the tool.Object and Solution:The object of the invention is to provide a tilting window opener which, by innovative properties, enables simpler, faster and more reliable handling. This is achieved by:• dispensing with moving parts, whereby reliability is increased and maintenance effort is reduced,• The omission of the folding over of the pull cord onto the opposite side of the window or door handle,• the possibility of being able to use the tool even without additional insertion aids thanks to an integrated grip region,• the optional use of a ferromagnetic insertion aid for window or door handles which are difficult to access,• a rounded lever arm enabling smooth sliding over shoots of shoot windows or shoot doors, and• The omission of manual readjustment of the tool or of the pull cord after placing on the window or door handle.Solution:The tool has a clip (70) with which the pull cord can be pre-clamped (110) and thus held in position. After the tool has been placed on the window or door handle, the pre-clamped pull cord can be released (120) by a slight downward pulling movement. As a result of this property, when the tool is placed on the window or door handle, attention no longer has to be paid to the correct positioning of the pull cord. The tool has a specially beveled contour (80) in the lower region. After being placed on the window handle, the tool slides downward due to its own weight and strikes the horizontal part of the window or door handle with the beveled contour (80). This action applies a torque to the tool which automatically aligns itself in the correct position. It is aligned in the opening direction of the window or door handle. The tool has a rounded lever arm (10), whereby it can slide past shoots (100) of a shoots window (90) or shoots door without complications when operated. The tool has a grip region (60) in the upper part. The tool can be placed on the fingertips and introduced through the window gap with the flat extended hand. The grip region enables a quick and simple use even without an insertion aid.Optionally, an insertion aid (50) may be used. The tool has a cylindrical opening (40) in the upper region, in which a magnet is located. The insertion aid (50) consists of a bent ferromagnetic rod with a grip region. The insertion aid (50) can be connected to the tool via the cylindrical magnetic opening (40). The advantage here is that the tool or the insertion aid can be pivoted after connection. This combination can thus also be adapted in the case of window handles which are difficult to access. Known solutions are not pivotable and do not have a magnetic connection. After the tool has been placed on, the insertion aid ( 50) can be released from the tool by a pulling movement.Industrial applicability:The tool is suitable in particular for professional use by fire weirs, rescue services and safety personnel. It enables quick and safe opening of tilted windows and doors in emergency situations without damaging them.Figure list:FIG. 1 shows the tilting window opener together with the clip for line fixing; rounded lever arm; specifically beveled edge for automatic alignment; inserted insertion aid; grip area for use without insertion aid; opening for storing a suction cup FIG. 2 shows a muntin window with a window grip in the tilted position; tool is applied to the window grip; pre-clamped pull cord is shown with dashed line; released pull cord is shown with continuous line; arrows symbolise the direction of pull; the illustration of the toggle grip fixedly attached to the pull cord has been omitted; radial arrow under the window grip symbolises rotational movement of the tool or of the window grip FIG. 3 shows a muntin guard with window grip, which has been moved into the open position with the tool10 Rounded lever arm 20 opening, via which the pull cord is fastened; illustration of the pull cord was omitted 30 opening, into which a suction cup for storage can be inserted 40 magnetic reception of the insertion aid 50 inserted insertion aid 60 integrated grip region, which allows use without insertion aid 70 clip, via which the pull cord can be pre-clamped 80 beveled contour for automatic alignment 90 muntin windows 100 muntin of a muntin window 110 pre-clamped pull cord; illustration of the firmly connected toggle handle was omitted; arrow symbolized pull direction 120 released pull cord; illustration of the firmly connected toggle handle was omitted; arrow symbolized pull direction 130 axis of rotation of the window handle or of the tool 140 tool attached to the window handle
Claims
Tilting window opener, comprising a base part which can be placed on a window or door handle, characterized in that the base part has no movable parts, a beveled contour (80) in the lower region of the base part brings about an automatic alignment into the opening position by the dead weight of the tool, a clip (70) firmly connected to the base part pre-clamps a pull cord, whereby a hooking of the pull cord is prevented, the rounded lever arm (10) of the base part protrudes beyond the axis of rotation (130) of the window or door handle and a sliding over a muntin (100) of a muntin window (90) or a muntin door is made possible by the described rounding.Tilting window opener according to claim 1, characterised in that the beveled contour (80) in the lower region of the base part, after being plugged onto the window or door handle, strikes the horizontal part of the window or door handle and, in combination with the dead weight of the tool, brings about an automatic alignment into the opening position, whereby a manual adjustment is dispensed with.Tilting window opener according to claim 1, characterised in that the clip (70) fixedly connected to the base part pre-clamps a pull cord or a similar pull means and thus holds it in position, whereby the pull cord is prevented from lying over or interlocking over the window or door handle during the placement thereof on the door handle.Tilting window opener according to claim 1, characterised in that the lever arm (10) of the base part projects beyond the axis of rotation (130) of the window or door handle and has a rounded contour, whereby sliding over a muntin (100) of a muntin window (90) or a muntin door is made possible without damage.Tilting window opener according to claim 1, characterised in that the base part contains an integrated grip region (60) in the upper region, whereby use without additional insertion aids is made possible by the tool being picked up with the fingertips, inserted through a window gap and placed on the window or door handle.Tilting window opener according to claim 1, characterised in that the base part contains a magnetic receptacle (40) in the upper region for optional use of an insertion aid (50), wherein the ferromagnetic insertion aid (50) can be connected to the base part via the magnetic receptacle (40).
