Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an awning which has a bearing axle rotatably mounted by means of a drive device between two mounting members which are laterally spaced apart from one another and are fixed to the subject, on which bearing axle the awning covering is wound, wherein the two mounting members are connected by means of connecting members to an awning front element which is oriented parallel to the bearing axle and to which the front edge of the awning covering is fastened, wherein a side awning which can be varied in its longitudinal extent is provided on at least one side of the awning and is attached to an elongate flexible supporting element which is mechanically tensioned by means of a tensioning device, wherein the supporting element extends from a side member fixed to the subject to the corresponding lateral end section of the awning front element, wherein the distal end edge of the side awning is assigned to the distal end of the support element and the proximal end edge of the side awning is assigned to the side organ fixed to the subject.Such an awning is known from DE 20 2024 001 779 U1. In this known awning, the side awning can be designed as a slat curtain or as a pleated curtain and can be mounted immovably or displaceably on the elongate flexible support element.DE 20 2025 000 197 describes a awning of the type mentioned at the beginning, wherein a deflection element for the elongated flexible support element, a path reduction device and a spring device are arranged in the side member fixed to the object. The proximal end of the support member and the spring means are fixed to the travel reduction means. The spring device has at least one compression spring or at least one tension spring. The object of the invention is to provide a awning of the type mentioned at the beginning which is of simple design compared to awnings of the type mentioned above. This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1, i.e. in that the side awning consists of two quadrangular side partial awnings, each having a lower edge, an upper edge, a perpendicular front edge and a rear edge parallel thereto, wherein fastening elements for temporarily fastening the side partial awnings to the elongate flexible support element are provided at the upper edge of each side partial awning at a distance from one another. The two quadrangular side partial awnings can be trapezoidal or parallelogram-shaped.It is preferred if a fastening element is attached in the region of the corner of the proximal side partial awning close to the subject formed by the perpendicular rear edge and the upper edge, and if a fastening element is attached in the region of the corner of the distal side partial awning remote from the subject formed by the perpendicular front edge and the upper edge.In order that the side awning consisting of two side partial awnings covers the side region of the awning in each position of the display of the awning in order to form the desired sun protection, it is preferred if the fastening element attached in the region of the corner of the proximal side partial awning close to the subject is provided for temporary fastening to the side element fixed to the subject, and if the fastening element attached in the region of the corner of the distal side partial awning remote from the subject is provided for temporary fastening to the side end section of the awning front element of the awning. It may be preferred if the distal side submark remote from the subject is slightly wider than the proximal side submark close to the subject, so that the perpendicular front edge of the proximal side submark and the perpendicular rear edge of the distal side submark overlap in each display position of the sidemark formed by the two side submarks. In order that the side awning consisting of two side partial awnings bears without any gaps against the elongate flexible support element which is mechanically tensioned at all times, it is preferred if at least one additional, further fastening element is attached to the upper edge of each of the two side partial awnings. It can be advantageous if a strip-shaped hook-and-loop element is provided in the region of the upper edge of one side partial awning and a strip-shaped counter-pallet element is provided in the region of the upper edge of the other side partial awning, wherein the hook-and-loop element and the counter-pallet element are axially aligned with one another. In order for the two side partial awnings to hang vertically downwards in each position of display of the main awning, it is advantageous if a weight element is provided on the lower edge of each of the two side partial awnings.Further details, features and advantages will become apparent from the following description of an exemplary embodiment of the awning according to the invention, which is schematically illustrated in the drawing, with a side awning consisting of two side partial awnings. The following are shown: FIG. 1 shows a view of the awning with a side awning viewed from above, FIG. 2 is a view of the awning according to FIG. 1 in the direction of the arrow II, wherein the awning assumes its maximum position of display; and FIG. 3 is a side view similar to FIG. 2, wherein the awning is reset from the maximum deployed position into an intermediate position, so that the two partial side awnings of the side awning overlap each other over a correspondingly larger area.FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the awning 10 which has a rotatably mounted bearing axle 14 between two laterally spaced-apart mounting members 12 fixed to the subject. The bearing axle 14 is rotatable by means of a drive device 16, which is indicated by an arrow. The drive device 16 can be a manual or an electric motor drive device.Wound onto the bearing axle 14 is an awning covering 18. The two mounting members 12 are connected by means of connecting members 20 to an awning front element 22 oriented parallel to the bearing axis 14. The connecting elements 20 are toggle levers. The front edge of the awning covering 18 is fastened to the awning front element. In order to shadow not only the floor surface under the stretched awning covering 18 but also to achieve a desired lateral shading, a lateral awning 26 is provided on at least one side of the awning 10, the longitudinal extension of which can be varied and which is attached to an elongated flexible support element 28. The elongated support member 28 may be a cable, a strap, or the like. The elongated support element 28 extends from a subject-fixed side member 30 to the corresponding lateral end portion 32 of the awning front element 22, and by means of a clamping device 34 provided on the subject-fixed side member 30 of the side awning 26, the elongated flexible support element 28 is mechanically tensioned in any position of display of the awning 10, so that an undesired sagging of the support element 28 - and consequently of the side awning 26 - is avoided. The side awning 26 is attached to the mechanically tensioned support element 28 in such a way that the distal end edge 36 of the side awning 26 is assigned to the distal end 38 of the elongate support element 28, and the proximal end section 40 of the support element 28 or the proximal end edge 42 of the side awning 26 is assigned to the side organ 30 fixed to the subject. The distance between the distal side edge 36 and the proximal end edge 42 of the side awning 26 corresponds at all times to the distance between the bearing axle 14 and the awning front element 22 of the awning 10.As can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, the side awning 26 consists of two trapezoidal side partial awnings 44 and 46. The distal side submark 46 remote from the subject is slightly wider than the proximal side submark 44 close to the subject, so that the perpendicular front edge 48 of the proximal side submark 44 and the perpendicular rear edge 50 of the distal side submark 46 overlap in each deployed position of the awning 10 and consequently of the sidemark 26.The two trapezoidal side partial markers 44, 46 each have a horizontal lower edge 52, 54 and an obliquely oriented upper edge 56, 58. Fastening elements 64 are attached to the upper edges 56, 58 of the side partial markers 44, 46 at a distance from one another. The fastening elements 64 are provided for temporarily fastening the side partial markers 44, 46 to the at all times mechanically tensioned, elongate flexible support element 28. The fastening elements 64 are designed, for example, as open hooks. One of the fastening members 64 is attached in the region of the corner 66 of the proximal side partial awning 44 close to the subject, said corner being formed by the perpendicular rear edge 42 and the obliquely oriented upper edge 56. A further fastening element 64 is attached in the region of the corner 68 of the distal side partial awning 46 remote from the subject, said corner being formed by the perpendicular front edge 36 and the obliquely oriented upper edge 58.In order to adapt the side awning 26 to the main awning 10 in its shading function in each position of display of the awning 10 and consequently of the side awning 26, the fastening element 64 attached in the corner 66 of the side submark 44 close to the subject is temporarily attached to the side element 30 fixed to the subject and the fastening element 64 attached in the corner 68 of the side submark 46 remote from the subject is temporarily attached to the side end section 32 of the awning front element 22 of the awning 10.In order to reliably temporarily fix the distal side partial awning 46 to the proximal side partial awning 44 in each position of the main awning 10 that is reduced relative to the maximum position of the display of the awning 10, a strip-shaped hook-and-loop element 70 is provided in the region of the upper edge 56 of the proximal side partial awning 44 and a strip-shaped counter-wedge element 72 is provided in the region of the upper edge 58 of the distal side partial awning 46. The strip-shaped hook-and-loop element 70 and the strip-shaped counter-wedge element 72 are aligned with one another axially in each position of the display of the awning 10 and consequently of the side awning 26.A weight element 74, 76 is provided on the lower edge 52, 54 of the side partial markers 44, 46, respectively, so that the two side partial markers 44, 46 depend reliably downward at all times.Reference numeral 78 in Figs. 1 to 3 indicates a subject, for example, the wall of a building, the wall of a recreational vehicle, or the like, in sections.Identical details are each denoted by the same reference numerals in the figures, so that it is unnecessary to describe all details in detail in connection with all figures.List of reference numbers:10 Awning (at 78) 12 mounting members (of 10) 14 bearing axle (between 12 and 12) 16 drive device (for 14) 18 awning covering (of 10) 20 connecting members (between 12 and 22) 22 awning front element (of 10) 24 front edge (of 18) 26 side awning (of 10) 28 elongated flexible support element (of 26) 30 side member (of 26 for 28) 32 side end section (of 22) 34 clamping device (of 28) 36 distal side edge (of 26) 38 distal end (of 28) 40 proximal end section (of 28) 42 proximal end edge (of 26) 44 side partial awning (of 26) 46 side partial awning (of 26) 48 front edge (of 44) 50 rear edge (of 46) 52 lower edge (of 44) 54 lower edge (of 46) 56 upper edge (of 44) 58 Upper edge (of 46) 64 Fastening elements (at 44, 46 for 26) 66 Corner (of 44 for 64) 68 Corner (of 46 for 64) 70 Strip-shaped hook-and-loop element (at 44) 72 Strip-shaped counter-wedge element (at 46) 74 Weight element (of 44) 76 Weight element (of 46) 78 SubjectReferences included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
