Abstract

Description

[0001] So-called drain valves are installed to drain water systems in campers. These drain the water supply lines through gravity. However, poorly or incorrectly laid water lines during installation can leave residual liquid in them, which cannot be removed without actively draining them. This can lead to frost damage to hoses, distributors, heaters, and installation components in the event of frost. A heater from a certain manufacturer also has a design-related recess at the lowest point of the tank, which inevitably leads to the complete destruction of the tank if even the smallest amount of residual water and frost is present. Flushing the systems is not recommended.

[0002] The invention specified in claim 1 is based on the problem of creating a draining device with a flushing option, which offers a simple way of completely emptying the water system with compressed air and, when plugged together, ensures normal use of the water system without having to dismantle the pipes using tools.

[0004] The invention consists of three modified quick couplings (1 & 3) and a connecting piece (2), which are inserted directly after the tank (4) into the supply line (5) of the water system. Likewise, if the connector (2) without the valve (3) is plugged onto the coupling (1) on the system side (6), the system can accommodate a standard household garden hose with a quick-coupling system to rinse the system with fresh water.
