[0001] This is a new sink concept consisting of a sink with vertical side walls, a "second bottom" which can move up and down inside the sink, a height adjustment system and a separate control unit for this system.
[0002] The height adjustment system is of secondary importance in this protection requirement. Whether the second shelf is adjusted electrically, such as with electric lifting columns or a scissor lift system, or hydraulically, is freely selectable.
[0003] The "second shelf" consists of a substructure connected to the height adjustment system and covered with a metal sheet. The "second shelf" has an offset of a few millimeters all around from the inner wall of the sink to allow wastewater to drain away.
