Description

[0001] The invention relates to a self-developed, screwless and fitting-free, but magnetic, cabinet connection for cabinet systems. This connection is used in modular cabinet systems also developed in-house. The modules are connected stably, alignably, and without tools by means of concealed neodymium magnets and corresponding metallic counterparts. All elements are completely invisibly integrated, enabling high load-bearing capacity, repeated assembly without damage, and allowing for versatile, freely combinable modularity of the cabinet units. I. Basic structure of the module

[0002] Each cabinet module consists of side panels, a top panel, and a bottom panel. The side panels ( Fig. 1 No. 1) each has a longitudinal groove incorporated into which neodymium magnets ( Fig. 1 No. 2) are embedded in a form-fit and force-fit manner. These magnets are completely concealed and not visible from the outside. Into the bottom and top surfaces ( Fig. 1 No. 3) also has a groove incorporated in which a metallic square bar ( Fig. 1 No. 4) is positively locked in place as a counterpart to the magnets. These square rods are also completely concealed. II. Function of the body connection

[0003] During module assembly, the magnets in the side walls are brought into contact with the square metal rods in the top and bottom panels. The magnetic force creates a stable, reproducible, and backlash-free connection between the components.
