A bayonet electrical connector has a spring loaded safety pin for locking the bayonet coupling. The pin projects into a recess, and a sleeve surrounds the part having the recess. The sleeve has a tab which projects into the recess, the sleeve being slidable to make the tab depress the pin against the spring bias of the pin, thereby to enable subsequent disconnection of the bayonet coupling. This design maintains a locking mechanism to prevent accidental decoupling of the bayonet connection, but makes the decoupling process simpler, by using, sliding of the sleeve and twisting to release the bayonet coupling.

When the nut is rotated with respect to the post, the click-tight continuity member affords intermittent rotational resistance upon the nut, via structurally-induced compression forces resultant when the plurality of spaced-apart surface features of the nut are not oppositely correspondingly aligned with the plurality of spaced-apart surface features of the post.

A plug locking assembly comprises a housing comprising a top surface, a bottom surface and opposing sidewalls defining an open space therebetween, the open space for receiving and carrying a plug comprising a spring member. The plug locking assembly is adapted to prevent unwanted access to modular plugs engaged in associated jacks. In one embodiment, the plug locking assembly comprises a plug protection member comprising a surface spaced apart from the open space and positioned to overlie at least a portion of the spring member with the plug engaged within the housing. The plug locking assembly may further comprise a locking clip releasably securable within the housing.

A watchdog unit is disclosed for monitoring a signal from a central controller. If the signal is lost, interrupted, or becomes irregular, or if a shutdown signal is received, then the watchdog unit can shutdown one or more solar modules. Shutting down a solar module can mean disconnecting it from a power bus of the solar array or lowering the solar module voltage to a safe level.

Disclosed is a LGA socket connector including an insulative housing (2), a stiffener (3), a clip (4), and a lever (5) defining thereof a driving portion (50) and a locking portion (52) linked thereto. The stiffener is configured to grasp a periphery of the housing. The clip and the locking portion of the lever are essentially pivotally moved about longitudinal ends of the housing respectively, but with the driving portion disposed adjacent one transverse side of the housing. At least one of the clip and the stiffener is provided with a recessed region (300) adjacent said transverse side of the housing, thereby preventing the whole connector from becoming inclined when the connector is horizontally locked and placed on the printed circuit board.

An SFP module includes a housing (1) and an ejector (70). An ejector seat (111) is formed in the housing for receiving the ejector. A triangular latch (114) is formed on the housing behind the ejector seat. The ejector includes a push bar (79) exposed forward of a front end (17) of the housing, and a tongue board (74). Two ejecting protrusions (741) are formed at a rear end of the tongue board, corresponding to a spring tab (611) of an SFP cage (6). The spring tab defines a retaining hole (613) for retaining the latch of the housing. When the SFP module is withdrawn from the cage, the push bar is pressed until the protrusions of the ejector have released the spring tab from the latch of the housing. The SFP module is then ejected from the cage by conventional spring means located in a rear of the cage.

A magnetic connector for connecting various cables to a mobile electronic device includes a connector part in the mobile electronic device and a connector part attached to the cable. One of the connector parts includes a permanent magnet and the other connector part includes magnetic material or another magnet. The attractive magnetic force between the permanent magnet or the other magnet and the magnetic material keeps the connector parts into engagement. The magnets may themselves form the electrical contacts. The connector parts can also include magnetically operated switches.

The receiving hole is located proximate to one end of the battery cover. The housing has a locking part (19) defined in one end thereof. The locking part includes a receiving groove (192) and a resisting portion protruding from a bottom of the receiving groove. The locking member has an operating portion (32) and a latching ear (34). The operating portion is rotatably mounted in the receiving hole of the battery cover. The latching ear extends from one side of the operating portion.
