Description

[0001] The invention relates to a ratchet wrench suitable for loosening and tightening the nut on a pipe.

[0002] The conventional technology, as shown in US 2551669, still has the following shortcomings: 1. Forward or reverse rotation is selected by reversing the wrench. Therefore, when installing the pipe, the nut at one end must be tightened forward while the nut at the other end is tightened reversely. This requires the wrench to first be removed from the pipe, reversed, and then reattached to the pipe to reverse the rotation direction. This significantly increases the operating load. 2. After loosening the pipe nut, the ratchet and the pipe often cannot be separated. The ratchet must be rotated freely until the ratchet opening coincides with the wrench opening to separate the pipe. Therefore, the top and bottom of the ratchet must be equipped with knobs for free rotation. Current technology involves a one-piece upper knob on the ratchet and a detachable lower knob. However, this technology is not economically efficient.

[0003] 1. The ratchet wrench according to the invention has a first hole (16) for the first pawl (41) and a second hole (17) for the second pawl (42) on the upper side of the jaw portion (11). The first and second axes (51) (52) are arranged in the first and second holes (16) (17). The first and second axes (51) (52) each have an eccentric section (55) on their upper side. A selector disk (6) is provided on the upper side of the jaw portion (11) and can drive the two eccentric sections (55). The selector disk (6) can be switched between first gear and second gear to change the direction of force exerted by the two pawls (41) (42). This solves the problem in the prior art that the wrench must first be separated from the pipe, turned over, and then reattached to the pipe to reverse the direction of rotation. Therefore, switching the direction of rotation is more convenient.

[0004] 2. The ratchet wrench according to the invention has a detachable rotary knob (31) on the top of the ratchet (2) and another detachable rotary knob (32) on the bottom. The two rotary knobs (31) (32) prevent the ratchet (2) from coming out of the wrench body (1) and can rotate the ratchet (2). Since the two rotary knobs (31) (32) detachably mounted on the ratchet (2) use uniform manufacturing, the overall costs can be easily controlled, making it more economical than previous technologies.

[0005] The invention is described in detail below using a preferred embodiment with reference to the drawing. The drawing shows: Fig. 1 an exploded view of the ratchet wrench according to the invention, Fig. 2 an enlarged view of the rotary knob according to Fig. 1, Fig. 3 a partial exploded view according to Fig. 1, Fig. 4 a perspective view according to Fig. 1, Fig. 5 a plan view of the ratchet wrench according to the invention in idle mode, Fig. 6 a sectional view along the line AA in Fig. 5, Fig. 7 a sectional view along the line BB in Fig. 6, Fig. 8 and Fig. 9 representations of the main component in the first gear of the ratchet wrench according to the invention, Fig. 10 and Fig. 11 Representations of the main component in the second gear of the ratchet wrench according to the invention

a ratchet (2) having a regular hexagonal drive hole (21) in the longitudinal direction, wherein the drive hole (21) can be applied to the nut of the pipe in order to loosen or tighten the nut, wherein the ratchet (2) is rotatably arranged in the main hole (12) and is provided with external teeth (22), wherein the ratchet is provided with a passage (23) in the radial direction (23) which is connected to the drive hole (21), whereby the drive hole (21) can be connected to the opening (13) via the passage (23), so that the pipe can enter and exit the drive hole (21) in order to loosen or tighten the nut, wherein the upper side of the outer peripheral wall of the ratchet (2) is provided with an upper groove (24), wherein at a position opposite the passage (23) an upper notch (25) is provided which is connected to the upper groove (24), wherein the upper notch (25) is projecting from the upper side of the ratchet (2) is milled downwards, wherein the underside of the outer peripheral wall of the ratchet (2) is provided with a lower groove (26), and wherein at a position opposite to the passage (23) a lower notch (27) is provided which is connected to the lower groove (26); two C-shaped rotary knobs (31) (32) which, as in , Fig. 2, on the inner peripheral wall each forms a tab (33) which can engage in the upper groove (24) or the lower groove (26), wherein the outer side forms a stepped surface (34) which is connected to the tab (33), whereby the stepped surface (34) can bear against the outer peripheral wall of the ratchet (2), wherein the two rotary knobs (31) (32) are further provided between the tab (33) and the stepped surface (34) each with a projection (35) which can fit into the upper notch (25) or the lower notch (27), wherein the tab (33) and the projection (35) of one rotary knob (31) engage in the upper groove (24) and the upper notch (25), whereby it is delimited on the upper side of the jaw section (11), wherein the tab (33) and the projection (35) of the other rotary knob (32) engage in the lower groove (26) and the lower notch (27), whereby it is limited to the underside of the jaw section (11), so that the two knobs (31) (32) preventthat the ratchet (2) comes out of the main hole (12), wherein the two projections (35) of the rotary knobs (31) (32) can carry the ratchet (2) in idle mode, so that, depending on the working state, one of the rotary knobs (31) (32) can be rotated so that the passage (23) coincides with the opening (13), so that the pipe can easily exit from the drive hole (21) after tightening the nut, and wherein the two rotary knobs (31) (32) are in contact with the outer peripheral wall of the ratchet (2) over a large area by means of the stepped surfaces (34), so that it is more stable when the ratchet (2) rotates;, two pawls (41) (42) comprising a first pawl (41) in the first chamber (140) and a second pawl (42) in the second chamber (150), the front side of the two pawls (41) (42) being provided with teeth (43) that can engage with the external teeth (22), the two pawls also being provided with positioning grooves (441) (442) corresponding to the internal annular grooves (18) (19), into which two C-shaped rings (451) (452) engage, whereby the first and second pawls (41) (42) cannot come out of the first and second chambers (140) (150), the internal diameter of the C-shaped rings (451) (452) being larger than the external diameter of the ratchet (2), so that they facilitate the installation of the ratchet (2) in the main hole (12) is not obstructed, whereby the two pawls (41) (42) on the left rear side have a left contact surface (46) which is connected to the left side of the front side with the teeth (43),and on the right rear side, a right contact surface (47) which is connected to the right side of the front side with the teeth (43), wherein between the left contact surface (46) and the right contact surface (47) a recessed coupling area (48) is formed, which is effected by a spring (49), wherein the two pawls (41) (42) have the possibility of positioning the C-shaped rings (451) (452) at any time and of engaging with the external teeth (22) at any time, wherein the left stop surface (46) and the right stop surface (47) are held so as not to touch the first curved surface (14) or the second curved surface (15), so that the two pawls (41) (42) have room for forward and backward displacement; two axes (51) (52) containing a first axis (51) in the first hole (16) and a second axis (52) in the second hole (17), wherein the two axes (51) (52) are each provided with a receiving hole (53) in the radial direction, wherein the receiving hole (53) serves to receive the spring (49), wherein a pressure element (54) is provided slidably between the spring (49) and the coupling portion (48), wherein the spring (49) presses against the pressure element (54) and indirectly acts on the coupling portion (48) of the pawls (41) (42), and wherein the two axes (51) (52) also each have an eccentric portion (55) on the upper side, which protrudes from the upper side of the jaw portion (11); and, a dial (6) slidably disposed between the upper rotary knob (31) and the upper surface of the jaw portion (11) so as to be switchable between the first gear and the second gear, the dial having a first guide hole (61) for guiding the eccentric portion (55) of the first axis (51), a second guide hole (62) for guiding the eccentric portion (55) of the second axis (52), a mark (63) between the first guide hole (61) and the second guide hole (62), and a C-shaped support portion (64) abutting the outer periphery of the ratchet (2).

[0007] In Fig. 5 to 7, the dial (6) is in the neutral position, which is located between the first gear and the second gear. At this time, the first guide hole (61) and the second guide hole (62) via the two axes (51) (52) hold the two pawls (41) (42) in the center of the first chamber (140) and the second chamber (150), and the left abutment surfaces (46) and the right abutment surfaces (47) of the two pawls (41) (42) are out of contact with the first arc surface (14) and the second arc surface (15), so that the wrench body (1) cannot transmit force in the forward or reverse direction to the drive hole (21) to loosen or tighten the nut. At this time, the two rotary knobs (31) (32) can rotate the ratchet (2) in the forward or reverse direction to make the passage (23) coincide with the opening (13).When the dial (6) is in the neutral position, the mark (63) is located in the center of the key body (1). For better visual recognition of the neutral state, the key body (1) may be provided with a symbol (65) aligned with the mark (63).

[0008] As in Fig. As shown in Figures 8 to 9, when the user rotates the dial (6) in the forward direction until it can move no further, the mark (63) is in the forward direction of the symbol (65), indicating that the dial (6) is shifted to the first gear. At this time, the first guide hole (61) and the second guide hole (62) guide the two eccentric portions (55), causing the two axes (51) (52) to rotate by an angle in the forward direction, so that the two pressing elements (54) change their pressing positions on the coupling portions (48) of the two pawls (41) (42). As a result, the two pawls (41) (42) in the first chamber (140) and the second chamber (150) are moved in the reverse direction, so that the right stop surfaces (47) are blocked in the reverse direction of the first arc surface (14) or second arc surface (15).Therefore, the wrench body (1) rotates the drive hole (21) in the forward direction to tighten the nut. If the device needs to be separated from the pipe, the user can directly rotate the wrench body (1) in the reverse direction until the passage (23) coincides with the opening (13). This allows the drive hole (21) to be separated from the nut, and then the pipe exits the drive hole (21) along the passage (23) and the opening (13).

[0009] As in Fig. 10 and Fig.As shown in Figure 11, when the user rotates the dial (6) in the reverse direction until it can move no further, the mark (63) is in the reverse direction of the symbol (65), indicating that the dial (6) is shifted to the second gear. At this time, the first guide hole (61) and the second guide hole (62) guide the two axes (51) (52), which are thus rotated in the reverse direction, so that the two pressing elements (54) change their pressing positions on the coupling portions (48) of the two pawls (41) (42). This shifts the two pawls (41) (42) in the first chamber (140) and the second chamber (150) in the forward direction, so that the left stop surfaces (46) are blocked in the forward direction of the first arc surface (14) or second arc surface (15). Therefore, the wrench body (1) can rotate the drive hole (21) in the reverse direction to loosen the nut.If the invention is to be separated from the pipe, the drive hole (21) must be loosened from the nut. Then, one of the knobs (31) (32) can be used to freely rotate the ratchet (2) forward until the passage (23) coincides with the opening (13). The pipe can then be separated from the drive hole (21).
