Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a circuit arrangement for lighting in rooms, basements and appliances, in particular also in furniture and appliances of any kind, such as furniture equipment of baths and kitchens. The modern and energy-saving lighting means arranged in furniture, residential rooms or office rooms are operated via an electrical power supply and are usually designed as LED lighting means with corresponding LED drivers. In particular in moist rooms with mirror cabinets and wash tables, the lighting means used are usually available as LEDs with different color temperatures, such as warm white or cold white. For many applications, automatically switching the lighting on and off when entering a room or opening a cabinet door is desirable and advantageous. For this purpose, motion detectors with corresponding sensors are usually arranged where the motion of a person can be detected. In addition to the lighting of furniture, residential and business rooms, motion detectors are often used as triggers for switching on lighting means also in the exterior of buildings. The automation of switching operations also serves to save electrical energy, since lighting means are switched on only when required and are switched off, for example, when leaving the room. The sensors mostly installed in the current motion detectors, however, cannot be convincing in many cases. Frequently used infrared sensors for detecting persons do not switch the connected lighting means reliably, since their detection range is greatly limited by spatial conditions, shadows and obstacles. If, for example, the body heat to be detected is not reported to a person entering the room by an infrared sensor, because a wall projection or a furniture part covers the body, the connected illumination is also not switched on at all or too late, since such infrared sensors (IR sensors) react only to temperature changes. In the case of IR sensors, there must be direct contact with the object in the detection region, and it must neither be covered nor shielded. To solve these problems, the use of Doppler sensors, also often known as radar sensors, has been proposed, the functional principle of which is based on radar technology and operates with microwaves.Such microwave Doppler motion sensors are active motion detectors and emit radio frequency electromagnetic waves (RF) in the GHz range and receive their echo, which is reflected by a detected obstacle. If the microwaves of these Doppler sensors strike the moving objects, even in covered areas, they are reflected and evaluated by a suitable implemented electronic system. In this case, the frequency change between outgoing and backscattered microwave radiation is evaluated (Doppler effect) in order to detect in particular moving objects. Doppler sensors can thus also be installed hidden, since the high-frequency electromagnetic waves penetrate many nonmetallic materials, such as walls or doors, glass or wood. By analyzing the echo signals even very small movements within the defined monitored zone are recognized and can trigger a switching process for illuminations. It is therefore the object of the present invention to propose motion detectors for automatically switching lighting devices, which reliably detect the movement of persons in rooms and reliably actuate the connected lighting means. In this case, further important functions in connection with such Doppler sensors for switching and for operating LED lighting means are to be integrated in a compact construction. This object is achieved by the characterizing features of the first claim in conjunction with the features of the preamble. The dependent claims specify further advantageous embodiments of the invention.According to the invention, a switching arrangement for lighting for lighting furniture, mirror cabinets or lighting in other rooms or devices is specified, comprising at least one switching device which comprises a lighting unit with a plurality of lighting means. In this case, the circuit device has at least one Doppler sensor for detecting movements and persons in the detection range, and also the automatic switching of the lighting means by means of receivers of the Doppler sensor signals and at least one LED driver for the lighting means.According to the invention, the circuit device of the switching arrangement for lighting is designed as an integrated Doppler box, which has a Doppler sensor for detecting movements and for driving an LED driver, an LED driver, a USB type C connection, a touch switch, a receiver for receiving control signals of the Doppler sensor for driving the lighting unit with lighting means. The inventive Doppler box also has a socket and can be connected to a power grid. In this case, all modules integrated in the Doppler box are preferably hard-wired to one another and integrated into a fixed housing. However, the Doppler sensor or sensors can also advantageously be arranged outside the Doppler box and transmit their switching signals via a cable connected to the Doppler box or via WIFI-BLE to the receiver in the Doppler box. Therefore, the Doppler sensor of the circuit device is preferably equipped with a WIFI-BLE module (= WLAN-Bluetooth Low Energy) for emitting control signals to a receiver of the lighting means, and also a module for implementing a memory function of the light settings. The invention will now be explained in more detail in several exemplary embodiments and in FIGS. 1 to 5.The following are shown: FIG. 1 shows a switching arrangement 1 with a switching device 2 which has one or more Doppler sensors 3, FIG. 2 shows the arrangement of modules of the circuit device 2 in an integrated Doppler box 8, FIG. 3 is a front view of the Doppler box 8, FIG. 4 shows a schematic of the switching device 2, wired modules 2, 3, 4 in the Doppler box 8, FIG. 5 shows a diagram of the switching device 2, modules 2, 4 in the Doppler box 8, Doppler sensor 3 arranged spatially separated. The first exemplary embodiment relates to a circuit arrangement 1 having a switching device 2 which comprises an illumination unit 4 having two lighting means 17, an LED driver 11 and one or more Doppler sensors 3, 10 and at least one receiver 6, 9. The Doppler sensors 3 each have a WIFI-BLE module in order to transmit their control signals to the receiver 6, 9, which is likewise equipped with a WIFI-BLE module. The LED driver 11 of the switching device 2, which driver is connected to the receiver 6, 9 by signal technology, controls the illumination unit 4 thereof when movements in the detection region are detected, for example in a bathroom, which illumination unit comprises here for example only the two LED lighting means 17 (FIG. 1 ). The term lighting unit 4 is also used here as a collective term for a plurality of different LED lighting means 17, the parameters of which can be variably adjusted. Furthermore, different light settings can be realized by the LED lighting means 17 themselves or by corresponding ballast means via the lighting unit 4.Available LED drivers 11 are able to control the lighting properties of the LED lighting means 17 of the lighting unit 4 according to the setting, for example brightness or color temperatures. The receiver / Doppler sensor 9 shown in FIG. 1 is intended to represent a plurality of combinations of both modules 6, 3 and express their arbitrary arrangement, for example in a plurality of rooms. The wireless switching connections between the WIFI-BLE module of the Doppler motion sensors 3 also allow lighting means 17 of lighting units 4 with their own, independent power supply to be controlled. According to the functional principle of Doppler sensors, which evaluate the frequency change of the reflected echo of the transmitted microwaves, the microwaves are shown as double arrow 5 in FIGS. 1, 4 and 5.In a further exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2 of the circuit arrangement for lighting 1 according to the invention, the modules of the circuit device 2 are arranged in a closed Doppler box 8 and wired to one another. The Doppler box 8 can be connected to a power supply network and has a socket 13 which is arranged in a housing 12 with a hinged cover 16.On its front side, the Doppler box 8 has a USB type C-terminal 14 and a touch switch 15 (FIGS. 2, 3, 4 ). Integrated into the Doppler box 8 are also a receiver 6, for receiving control signals of a Doppler sensor 3, an LED driver 11 for driving the lighting means 17 of the lighting unit 4 and a Doppler sensor 3 for detecting movements and for driving the LED driver 11, wherein all modules (3, 6, 7, 11 to 16, 18) are integrated into the Doppler box 8 and are hard-wired to one another. However, it is also advantageously possible to arrange the Doppler sensor 3 outside the Doppler box 8, for example on or below a mirror cabinet and to connect this to the Doppler box 8 by cable.Alternatively, the Doppler sensor 3 arranged outside the Doppler box 8 can also communicate wirelessly (WLAN / BLE) with the receiver 6 of the Doppler box 8.If the Doppler box 8 according to the invention is connected in a mirror cabinet of a bathroom for automatic illumination control of the mirror cabinet, the integrated Doppler sensor 3 or the Doppler sensor arranged outside the Doppler box 8 enables reliable detection of persons when entering the bathroom and switching on the illumination in the mirror cabinet. Advantageously, the transmitter and receiver head of the Doppler detector 3 are aligned in the monitored region in front of the mirror cabinet. Local conditions must be taken into account in the alignment of the Doppler sensor. When leaving the room, this is detected by the Doppler sensor, so that the illumination is automatically switched off, wherein the time interval between leaving the room and switching off the illumination is adjustable (e.g. 10 seconds).A further advantageous combination of the lighting means 17 of the lighting unit 4 consists, for example, in that the lights of the mirror cabinet are switched on simultaneously with lights under the wash table by a Doppler sensor 3. For this purpose, the lights under the wash table are / are equipped with a receiver 6 (and driver 11), which likewise receives and switches the control signals of the Doppler sensor 3. In contrast, when a plurality of lamps are operated with conventional IR sensors, simultaneous lighting cannot be ensured due to the different response times of the IR sensors. Likewise, the illumination in the mirror cabinet can be switched synchronously with the illumination in the wash table via the communication of the Doppler sensor in the mirror cabinet and the receiver in the wash table manually via the Doppler box (touch switch) and the light color can be adjusted. In contrast to the use of IR sensors as automatic switches, the proposed innovative Doppler sensors 3 are largely independent of thermal radiations and detect very small movements, even just the breathing of persons in the monitored zone.Even severe temperature fluctuations or light covers do not impair the function of Doppler sensors 3 as motion detectors. To extend the detection range and increase the flexibility of the Doppler sensors 3, these can be connected wirelessly to the receiver 6 of the Doppler box 8 and be arranged at another remote location. The Doppler sensor 3 can also be supplied with power separately by a type C connection (USB). As a result, the detection range can be extended, for example to 10 meters, by respectively 5 m range for the Doppler sensor transmitter 3 and 5 m for the receiver 6 of the Doppler box 8 (FIG. 5 ).In an advantageous development of the invention, the receiver 6 is additionally designed to receive control signals from remote controls and / or dimmers, with which the lighting can be controlled individually. Dimmer and remote control can have different designs and shapes, round or angular, and are preferably designed to be water-protected. In an advantageous development of the invention, remote controls and dimmers are equipped with a push or touch switch. The dimmer is designed to be adjustable, for example by sweeping over the surface.A further development of the invention relates to the implemented switching stages of the Doppler box 8, which can be adjusted on the box 8 for example by a remote control (push or touch switch), a dimmer or the touch switch 15. Here, ON / OFF, various light color modes, and dimming settings may be realized as switching stages for setting lighting. In a further development of the invention, the Doppler sensor 3 of the switching device 2 according to the invention has a module for implementing a memory function which stores the parameters of the illumination, such as the set color temperature or light intensity when the lighting means 17 are switched off, and takes over for the next switching on. In an advantageous development of the invention, the housing 12 of the Doppler box 8 has approximately the dimensions (length x width x height) of 90 mm x 64 mm x 73 mm and is preferably protected and sealed according to IP 44.For example, a BM20W is used as the LED driver 11 and, like the Doppler motion sensor 3, is installed as an RD-01 / T module in the Doppler box 8. Different types of Doppler sensors 3 can be installed and used according to the task, resulting in different detection distances directly linearly and laterally. For example, the Rd-01 module of the Doppler sensor 3 can detect whether a moving human body is present in the surrounding environment, and transmits the detection link to the light circuit receiver 6 or 9 in real time via WLAN and BLE (Bluetooth). The built-in socket is compatible with the YY-301 DE standard and is preferably made in black. The circuit arrangement 1 according to the invention for automatic switching of illuminations controlled by motion sensors is substantially more reliable and sensitive than the use of other sensor types due to the innovative use of microwave-based Doppler sensors. In this case, the wired Doppler box 8 combines, in addition to a Doppler sensor 3, also further functions, such as a USB type C connection 1 and a touch switch 15 for the direct switching of lighting means 17. the Doppler sensor 3 can also be arranged outside the Doppler box 8, as a result of which the detection range for the movement of persons for switching the lighting unit 4 with lighting means 17 can be extended once again.By using one or more Doppler sensors 3 in conjunction with corresponding receivers 6, 9 and LED drivers 11, different automatic switching processes for furniture and room lighting can be realized. The described technique is also suitable for the automatic illumination of garages and outdoor parking spaces. The proposed circuit arrangement 1, in particular the Doppler box 8 in the various configurations, is insensitive to radio interference, temperature fluctuations, moisture, scattered light, and dust and air currents. The proposed Doppler sensor 3 can be installed in a housing 12 made of plastic, wood, glass or other non-metals without its detection function being impaired. The proposed circuit arrangement 1, in particular the Doppler box 8, can also be used advantageously in various fields, such as device control, ambient light control, parking garage lighting, through lighting, etc.Reference numerals denote reference numerals1 Switching arrangement for lighting 2 Switching device (3, 6, 7, 9), optionally 8 3 Doppler sensor, Doppler motion sensor, microwave sensor 4 Lighting unit, light cold, warm, control functions 5 Microwave radiation, echo from 3 emitted 6 receivers, (WLAN, BLE) 7 Transmitter in 3 (WLAN / BLE) 8 Doppler box, integrated modules 3, 6, 7, 11 to 16, 18 9 Receiver / Doppler sensor (6 / 3) 10 Second sensor 11 Driver, LED driver 12 Housing of 8 13 Socket 14 USB type C connection 15 Touch switch of 8 16 Hinged cover of 8 17 LED lighting means of 4 18 Module with memory function
