Abstract

Device socket (1) for connection to a device plug (100), comprising: • a plurality of electrical connection contact elements (2), and • an insulating housing (6) which at least partially receives and supports the electrical connection contact elements (2), wherein the electrical connection contact elements (2) each have a plug-in section (3) which are all aligned parallel to a first axis (X), wherein the electrical connection contact elements (2) each have a connection section (4) formed integrally with the plug-in section (3), to which an electrical conductor (L) of a connecting cable (C) can be connected in a connection orientation (A) parallel to a respective second axis (Y) in order to be electrically connected to the associated plug-in section (3), wherein the first axis (X) forms an angle α with 0° < α ≤ 90° with each of the second axes (Y).
