Abstract

Roller in the form of a running or climbing roller for applications in automated logistics, with a shell body (4) that circumferentially encloses a roller body (13) of the roller (2) rotating about a rotary axis (8) during operation and forms a running surface (6) of the roller (2), wherein the roller body (10) is designed to dissipate any charge that may arise during operation in the direction of or away from an axis present during operation, characterized in that the roller body (10) having a plastic core (13) comprises at least one dissipation element (12) which extends radially along the plastic core (13) and has at least one contact surface (14) against which the shell body (4) rests.
