Abstract
Description
1. Technical field The present invention relates to a silencer for blowers, in particular for electrically operated blowers of bouncy castles. The invention relates in particular to a device for reducing noise generation in the area of the intake opening of a blower. 2. State of the art Blowers, such as those used in bouncy castles, generate a considerable amount of noise during operation. This noise originates particularly in the area of the intake opening through which air is drawn into the blower. Known noise reduction solutions are either insufficiently effective or not specifically designed for the intake side of such blowers. In particular, there is a lack of easily installed solutions that enable effective sound attenuation without significantly impairing the blower's function. 3. Object of the invention The invention is therefore based on the objective of providing a silencer that can be easily attached to the intake opening of a blower and effectively reduces noise generation. The aim is to create a solution that is compatible with commercially available blowers while ensuring an adequate supply of air. 4. Solution to the task The task is solved by a silencer in accordance with the protection requirements. The silencer has a connection device designed for attachment to the intake opening of a blower. A hollow body, which serves to guide the intake air, is connected to this connection device. The hollow body is designed in such a way as to reduce noise generation. This can be achieved through the shape of the hollow body as well as through sound-absorbing structures or materials within the hollow body. 5. Advantageous embodiments In one embodiment, the connection device is designed as a positive-locking or force-locking connection. In particular, it can be designed as a plug connection, clamp connection or threaded connection. In another embodiment, the hollow body is essentially cylindrical or funnel-shaped. In a preferred embodiment, sound-absorbing materials, in particular acoustic foam or similar materials, are arranged inside the hollow body. In another embodiment, the silencer has a removable lid, in particular in the form of a screw cap, which makes the interior accessible and allows materials to be replaced or added. The connection device is preferably designed to be adapted to intake openings of blowers with a diameter in the range of approximately 15 cm to 25 cm. 6. Advantages of the invention The invention enables simple and quick installation on existing blowers. The combination of connection device and sound-reducing hollow body achieves a significant reduction in noise generation. Furthermore, the function of the blower is maintained, as a sufficient air supply is ensured. The invention is easy to manufacture and can be implemented in different embodiments.
