Description

[0001] The invention relates to a pile driver attachment for a post according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a post.

[0002] Posts are commonly used, for example, in ground-mounted photovoltaic systems. These posts can be driven into the ground for anchoring, provided the soil conditions allow it. However, the required driving depth is often not achieved due to unfavorable soil conditions, which complicates and increases the cost of constructing the ground-mounted photovoltaic system.

[0003] The purpose of the invention is to enable simple fastening of posts even in unfavorable soil conditions.

[0004] This task is accomplished by a post driving attachment comprising two interconnected metal plates. These plates, preferably rolled steel made of high-strength, fine-grained steel, allow posts to be driven into the ground even in unfavorable soil conditions with resistance such as boulders or loose rock. Due to their flat design, the plates can be driven into the ground with minimal resistance while still enabling the transmission of significant forces to the surrounding edge, for example, to break up boulders or loose rock.

[0005] The metal sheets can be joined together, particularly at right angles to each other. At least one of the sheets can have a slot, preferably located centrally, into which the other sheet is inserted. It is particularly advantageous if both sheets have a slot, preferably located centrally, into which they are mutually inserted. This allows the sheets to be joined particularly easily yet securely. Joining the sheets together enables space-saving, stacked transport of the individual sheets and assembly on-site during the construction of a ground-mounted photovoltaic system.

[0006] The sheets advantageously feature at least one additional outer slot on one end face, designed to accommodate a post. As described in detail below, one sheet can have two outer slots and the other sheet one outer slot, which can accommodate a C-shaped profile body to form a post. At least one of the outer slots can be conical, simplifying assembly. Particularly easy assembly is achieved when two slots in one of the sheets are conical.

[0007] In an advantageous embodiment, the sheets can be pointed at one end face, particularly opposite the outer slots. This significantly simplifies driving them into the ground. It is especially advantageous if one of the sheets projects beyond the other sheet at the pointed end face. The sheet projecting at the pointed end face can also have a centrally located slot on the opposite end face for connecting it to the other sheet. This provides particularly reliable support for the projecting sheet.

[0008] Furthermore, a post, particularly for ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, is claimed, featuring an elongated profile body characterized by the previously described driving head being arranged at one end of the profile body. Such a post can be driven into the ground particularly easily, even in unfavorable soil conditions.

[0009] The driving head can have several slots into which the profile body is inserted. This ensures precise positioning of the driving head relative to the profile body and also allows the forces during driving to be transferred from the profile body to the driving head.

[0010] The profile body can advantageously be formed from a C-shaped profile and inserted into three slots of the ramming attachment.

[0011] Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of a preferred embodiment with reference to the drawings. These show: Fig. 1 a perspective view of a post with a profile body and a driving head; Fig. 2 an exploded view of the post of Fig. 1; Fig. 3 a detailed view of the ramming attachment of Fig. 1; Fig. 4 an exploded view of the pile driver attachment of Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 a top view of the post of Fig. 1.

[0012] In Fig. Figure 1 shows a post 1 comprising an elongated profile body 2 with a C-shaped cross-section and a driving head 3. The driving head 3 is arranged at the lower free end of the profile body 2 and enables the post 1 to be driven into the ground even in unfavorable soil conditions.

[0013] The driving head 3 comprises two interconnected plates 4a, 4b, which are aligned at right angles to each other and in the longitudinal direction of the profile body 2. This allows the driving head 3 to be driven into the ground with minimal effort.

[0014] In Fig. 2 is an exploded view of post 1 of Fig. Figure 1 shows that the ramming attachment 3 is designed with the plates 4a and 4b to be placed onto the profile body 2. For this purpose, the plates 4a and 4b include outer slots, of which the conically shaped outer slots 5a and 5b are shown here.

[0015] In Fig. Figure 3 is a detailed view of the ramming attachment 3 of Fig. Figure 1 shows that, in addition to the outer slots 5a and 5b in the sheet 4b, an outer slot 5c is also provided in the sheet 4a, so that all three side walls of the C-shaped profile body 2 can be held in the outer slots 5a, 5b, and 5c. This enables a particularly stable fixation of the driving head 3 to the profile body 2.

[0016] The slots 5a, 5b are conically shaped such that their outer walls run longitudinally along the ramming head 3 and the profile body 2, respectively, while their inner walls are angled. The walls of the slots 5a, 5b thus taper conically to a point, at which an additional recess is provided to prevent stress concentrations.

[0017] As from the Fig. As can be seen further in section 3, the sheets 4a, 4b are pointed at their lower end face, which is opposite the end face with the slots 5a, 5b, 5c, in particular with a pointed end face provided on each sheet 4a, 4b, preferably a mirror image of the previous one. Sheet 4a also projects beyond sheet 4b at its pointed lower end face, so that obstacles in the ground come into contact with sheet 4a first.

[0018] In Fig. Figure 4 is an exploded view of the pile driver attachment 3 of Fig. Figure 3 shows that the sheets 4a and 4b are joined together, which is made possible by centrally arranged slots 6a and 6b in the sheets 4a and 4b. The sheet 4a, which projects from the lower end face, has a centrally arranged slot 6a on the opposite side. The sheet 4b has a centrally arranged slot 6b on its lower end face, so that the sheets 4a and 4b are joined as shown in Figure 3. Fig. 3 shown can be put together.

[0019] In Fig.Figure 5 shows a top view of post 1. As shown, the plates 4a and 4b are arranged at right angles to each other. Furthermore, the slots 5a, 5b, and 5c are positioned in the plates 4a and 4b such that the plates 4a and 4b are centered on the side walls of the profile body 2. This ensures that when the post 1 is driven into the ground by applying force to the upper free end of the profile body 2, the post 1 can be driven straight into the ground.

[0020] The width of slots 6a, 6b can be slightly greater than the thickness of sheets 4a, 4b to facilitate easy assembly. Similarly, the width of slot 5c and the conical slots 5a, 5b at their narrowest point can be slightly greater than the thickness of profile body 2.
