2. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that a plurality of tab sections (24) are formed along the longitudinal edge (29) of the data side (17), the length (24a) of which tab sections (24) along the longitudinal edge (29) of the data side (17) is the same or differs from one another.
3. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the edge-open recesses (32) formed between at least two tab sections (24) are formed to be the same or different in length (24a) along the longitudinal edge (29) of the data side (17).
4. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the edges delimiting the tab section (24) extend at right angles to the folding region (31) or run towards the free end (34) of the tab section (24), pointing towards one another.

Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the at least one first layer (26) or the at least one further layer (27) consists of a thermoplastic material, in particular polyethylene (PE), polycarbonate (PC), polyimide (PI), polyamide (PA) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or a mixture thereof, or is formed from a textile, fabric, nonwoven, felt, paper, from a paper impregnated with plastic or impregnated paper or a mixture thereof.
6. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the width (23a) of the tab sections (24), which is formed by a distance between the longitudinal edge (29) of the data side (17) and the free end (34) of the respective tab section (24), is the same for all tab sections (24).

Method for producing a book block (45), in particular for a book-like document (11), with an insert sheet (15) produced according to one of claims 1 to 6, in which at least one inner page (14) is provided, in which at least one perforation (41) is introduced along a fold area (31) of the inner page (14) between the double pages, which perforation corresponds to the at least one tab section (24) in terms of length and distance from the end face (36) of the data page (17), in which the at least one tab section (24) of the insert sheet (15) is guided through the at least one perforation (41) of the at least one inner side (14) and in which the region of the tab section (24) projecting beyond the outer inner side (14) is subsequently bent over and fixed to an outer surface (43) of an outer inner side (14) or to an outer surface (43) of an attachment (52) surrounding the at least one inner side (14) or to the tab section (24) projecting freely from the outer inner side (14), at least one tab section (24) projecting freely from the outer inner side (14), a locking element (47) is fastened, which secures the at least one tab section (24) to the folding region (31).
8. Method for producing a book-like security document (11), which has at least one insert sheet (15), an inner page (14) and a book cover (12), in which an insert sheet (15) is produced according to one of claims 1 to 6, in which at least one tab section (24) is provided, in which at least one opening (41) is made in the folded region (31) of the at least one inner side (14), which opening corresponds in length and distance to the end face (36) of the data side (17) to the at least one tab section (24) of the insert sheet (15), in which at least one recess (49) is made in the folded region (31) of the book cover (12), which corresponds in length and distance to the front side (36) of the data side (17) to the at least one tab section (24) of the insert sheet (15), in which the at least one tab section (24) of the insert sheet (15) is passed through the corresponding perforation (41) and then through the corresponding recess (49), in which a closure element (47) is attached to the at least one tab section (24) projecting from the recess (49) of the book cover (12) and the at least one inner side (14) and the insert sheet (15) are fixed to the book cover (12).
9. Method according to claim 8, characterized in that the closure element (47) is welded, glued, laminated, thermally deformed, solvent-bonded or injection-moulded to the at least one tab portion (24).
10. Method according to claim 8, characterized in that, after the closure element (47) has been joined to the at least one tab section (24), the book cover (12) and the at least one inner side (14) and the insert sheet (15) are punched out to a final format and preferably the at least one tab section (24) projecting beyond the closure element (47) is cut off and preferably cut off to the final format with the punching step.
11. Method for producing a book-like document of value (11), which has at least one insert sheet (15), an inner side (14) and a book cover (12), in which a book block (45) produced according to claim 7 is bound into the book cover (12), an outer surface (43) of the outer inner side (14) being glued to an inner side of the book cover as an attachment (52).

Insert sheet for a book-like document (11) produced according to one of claims 1 to 6, with at least one layer (26, 27) of a thermoplastic material, with a data side (17) and a tab (23) arranged thereon, which extends along a longitudinal edge (29) of the data side (17) and adjoins the data side (17) and forms a folded region (31) and the at least one first layer (26) forms both the data side (17) and the tab (23) or at least one further layer (27) arranged on the first layer (26) forms both the data side (17) and the tab (23), and the tab (23) has at least one recess (32) which is open at the edge, which extends from the free end (34) of the tab (23) to the longitudinal edge (29) of the data side (17), and the tab (23) is divided into at least two tab sections (24) as seen along the longitudinal edge (29) of the data side (17), and the tab section (24) is shortened in length (24a) relative to the longitudinal edge (29) of the data side (17), characterized in that the shortened tab section (24) is formed by at least one recess (35), and the recess (35) adjoins an upper or lower end face (36, 37) of the data side (17) or adjoins both end faces (36, 37) of the data side (17).
13. Book block for a book-like document (11), characterized in that an insert sheet (15) according to claim 12 and at least one inner side (14) are provided, the inner side (14) being folded along a fold region (31) and having at least one elongate perforation (41) along the fold region (31), which perforation corresponds in length and at a distance from the end face (36) of the data page (17) to the at least one tab section (24), so that the at least one tab section (24) for binding the insert sheet (15) to the inner side (14) is guided through the at least one aperture (41) and the at least one tab section (24) projecting freely relative to the outer inner side (14) is firmly connected to an outer surface (43) of the outer inner side (14) or to an outer surface (43) of an attachment (52) surrounding the at least one inner side (14) or is fixed to the at least one inner side (14) by means of a locking element (47).
14. Book block according to claim 13, characterized in that the at least one tab section (24) is connected to the outer surface (43) of the inner side (14) by bonding, welding, fusing or is connected to the closure element (47) by laminating, bonding, welding, injection moulding, thermal deformation or by thermal solvents and preferably the closure element (47) is in the form of a strip and is connected partially or along the fold area (31) of the inner side (14), thermal deformation or by thermal solvents, and preferably the closure element (47) is in the form of a strip and extends partially or along the fold area (31) of the inner side (14), and in particular accommodates the tab section(s) (24) together.

Book-like document, in particular a document of value or security document, having a book cover (12), having at least one inner side (14), and having at least one insert sheet (15), the insert sheet (15) and the at least one inner side (14) being surrounded by the book cover (12), characterized in that the insert sheet (15) is provided according to claim 12, of which at least one tab section (24) can be inserted into a corresponding perforation (41) in the folding region (31) of the at least one inner side (14) and is guided through a further corresponding recess (49) in the book cover (12), and in that the at least one tab section (24) of the insert sheet (15) projecting from the recess (49) of the book cover (12) is connected to a closure element (27) and is fixed.

Book-like document according to claim 15, characterized in that the closure element (47) is designed in the form of a band and extends along the folded region (31) of the book cover (12) and accommodates the tab section or tab sections (24) together , or in that the closure element (47) is formed by overmoulding the at least one tab section (24), or in that the closure element (47) is designed as a clip engaging on the at least one tab section (24) or as a slotted round bar.

Book-like document according to claim 15, characterized in that the closure element (47) consists of a thermoplastic material and preferably consists of the group consisting of polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate and modifications thereof, in particular PET-G and PET-F, polyacrylates, in particular polymethylmetacrylate, acrylonitrile-butagen-styrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyimide, polyvinyl chloride or copolymers and block copolymers of such polymers and coextruded materials of these polymers.
