AI Technical Summary
Existing cold rooms face challenges in maintaining efficient and energy-saving cooling of refrigerated goods, particularly in preventing cold losses through openings and ensuring uniform cooling across the storage space.
A circulating air system with strategically placed air outlet and inlet openings, including the use of nozzle tubes and modular air ducts, is implemented to create a targeted air circulation that blows cold air into gaps and recirculates it, preventing cold losses and ensuring uniform cooling.
This solution enhances the cooling efficiency of refrigerated goods by maintaining desired temperature levels while reducing energy consumption and preventing cold losses through the use of a circulating air system that promotes air curtain formation and uniform air flow.
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a cold room for the presentation of chilled goods.
[0002] A basic refrigerated room for the presentation of refrigerated goods is bounded at the top by a ceiling, preferably at the bottom by a floor, and laterally in one spatial direction by two side walls, of which at least one side wall is provided as a goods presentation wall with at least one through-opening. The refrigerated room has at least one goods presentation device accommodating refrigerated goods, which comprises a goods presentation side for presenting the refrigerated goods and is arranged between the side walls in such a way that the goods presentation device faces the goods presentation wall with its goods presentation side and is spaced therefrom, forming a first intermediate space, so that the refrigerated goods can be removed from the goods presentation device from the outside via the through-opening, and a second intermediate space is formed between the goods presentation device and the other side wall.
[0003] In such a cold storage room, the chilled goods stored therein can be presented to the outside, i.e., outside the cold storage room, thanks to the through-opening in at least one side wall. Likewise, the chilled goods can be removed via the through-opening in the side wall, for example, by a customer.
[0004] At least one, preferably several, doors or door elements can be provided to close the passage opening of the side wall or the product display wall. The at least one door can be a swing door or a sliding door. To maintain the display function, the doors have at least one area or section that is transparent, in particular transparent. For example, the at least one door is a glass door.
[0005] According to the invention, the cold storage compartment has a recirculation system. The recirculation system comprises at least one fan, several or a plurality of air outlet openings, and at least one air inlet opening. At least some of the air outlet openings are directed toward the first intermediate space in order to blow air, for example, cold air and / or cooled air, into the first intermediate space via the air outlet openings.
[0006] In particular, it is further provided that the at least one air inlet opening is arranged in the region of the second intermediate space and / or in the region of a space occupied by the goods presentation device in order to draw in a predetermined amount of air via the second intermediate space and / or via the space occupied by the goods presentation device, for example by means of the fan. In principle, the at least one air inlet opening can be arranged at any desired position. The decisive factor with regard to the location of the at least one air inlet opening is that a short circuit is avoided between the air flowing into the cooling space via the air outlet openings and the air flowing out of the cooling space via the at least one air outlet opening. For this purpose, a separating device, such as a separating plate, can be provided between at least some of the air outlet openings and the at least one air inlet opening.
[0007] The air circulation system creates a circulation of air, particularly a circulating air movement, within the refrigerated room, through which air, particularly cold air and / or chilled air, flows around and / or through the product display unit in a targeted manner. It has been shown that this circulation of air promotes the cooling of the refrigerated goods stored in the display unit, particularly rapid cooling. It has also been shown that this circulation of air can permanently maintain the temperature of the refrigerated goods at the desired level.
[0008] By directing the air outlet openings toward the first gap between the product display side of the product display unit and the side wall containing the passage opening, the creation of an air curtain is promoted. This air curtain extends along the side wall in the area of the first gap and flows over the opening area of the passage opening. This counteracts any cooling losses caused by the passage opening. Overall, it has been demonstrated that the recirculation system is an effective measure for cooling the cold room and the goods stored therein to the desired level in an energy-efficient manner and maintaining it at this level permanently.
[0009] For example, the product display device comprises several compartments arranged vertically one above the other, in particular each with a shelf for storing refrigerated goods or at least some or at least several of the refrigerated goods. For example, at least one of the compartments is continuous, thus forming a passage extending from the product display side to the opposite side or rear of the product display device. This promotes the flow of air through the product display device, as the air can flow through the continuous compartment, cooling the refrigerated goods contained therein.
[0010] The product display device can be a shelf, in particular a shelving system. For example, the product display device is a sliding shelf. In this case, at least one of the shelves is inclined downwards toward the front, toward the product display side, to cause or at least facilitate the sliding of the refrigerated goods along the shelf.
[0011] In one embodiment, it is provided that the recirculation system is arranged in the region of the ceiling, so that air or the air is blown from above into the first intermediate space by means of the air outlet openings and air or the air is sucked in, for example from above, from the second intermediate space and / or from the space occupied by the goods display device by means of the at least one air inlet opening. The arrangement of the recirculation system in the region of the ceiling is to be understood in particular in the way that the air outlet openings and / or the at least one air inlet opening are arranged close to the ceiling. In particular, it is aimed that the air outlet openings and / or the at least one air inlet opening are arranged in such a way that the air flowing in via the air inlet openings also reaches the refrigerated goods accommodated in the upper region of the goods display device.
[0012] In this way, gravity is utilized when air is blown into the first intermediate space, as the resulting air flow has at least one component that is directed downwards, i.e., towards the floor of the cold storage room. This results in advantages with regard to the cold storage room's energy consumption for cooling the chilled goods. The arrangement of at least one air inlet opening in the ceiling area takes into account the fact that any heated air rises. In this respect, this measure contributes to achieving rapid cooling of the chilled goods and / or to cooling the chilled goods with high efficiency and thus as energy-efficiently as possible.
[0013] The air outlet openings can be arranged or aligned in different ways. To achieve the most even airflow possible to the refrigerated goods, the air outlet openings are distributed along the product display side or wall, in particular, they are arranged in a similar or evenly distributed manner.
[0014] The air outlet openings are arranged one behind the other in one direction along the product display side or product display wall. For example, the air outlet openings are arranged one behind the other along the product display side or product display wall, viewed in the direction along the ceiling. For this purpose, according to one possible embodiment, the air outlet openings are arranged one behind the other in a row. According to another embodiment, the air outlet openings can be arranged one behind the other in at least two rows, and the air outlet openings in one row and the air outlet openings in the other row can alternate.
[0015] It is provided that at least some of the air outlet openings, in particular at least one or individual air outlet openings, are assigned to a common air duct, and at least one of the air outlet openings is formed by a flow outlet of a nozzle tube fluidly connected to the air duct. In particular, the air duct serves as a supply air duct, through which the air flows to the air outlet openings or the nozzle tube. The nozzle tube itself has a nozzle function, which increases the flow velocity of the air flowing through the nozzle tube. The nozzle tube thus supports the circulating air movement for cooling the refrigerated goods.
[0016] It can be provided that the nozzle tube extends into the air duct with a section having a flow inlet and is, in particular, rotatable relative to the air duct. It is advisable for the flow inlet to have an inlet surface which, in an initial position, is at least partially transverse to the longitudinal axis of the air duct or has a directional component extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the air duct and can be moved out of the initial position, for example, by rotating the nozzle tube relative to the air duct.
[0017] This allows the strength of the nozzle effect of the nozzle tube to be specifically adjusted by moving the nozzle tube further, further away, or not at all from its initial position relative to the air duct. For example, the further the nozzle tube is moved from its initial position relative to the air duct, the less the nozzle tube is affected by the air flow of the air duct. If several such nozzle tubes are provided, the nozzle tubes can be coordinated with each other in terms of the air flowing out of them by adjusting the respective nozzle effect. The recirculation of air through the recirculation system can thus be individually and flexibly adjusted and adapted to the requirements within the cold room for cooling the refrigerated goods.
[0018] The nozzle tube can also be arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the air duct, in particular, it can be connected to the air duct in a rotationally fixed manner or it can be integrally formed on the air duct. In this case, the nozzle tube is permanently in the initial position relative to the air duct described above.
[0019] The section of the nozzle tube that extends into the air duct can have or consist of a pipe bend. For example, the pipe bend is a 90-degree bend. For example, the nozzle tube has a round, particularly circular, cross-section. In principle, the nozzle tube can also have a square, for example, polygonal, cross-section. The air duct can be made of plastic or comprise plastic. The nozzle tube can also be made of plastic or comprise plastic. The air duct and / or the nozzle tube can have or consist of a thermoplastic material, such as PPE.
[0020] In a further embodiment or another embodiment, the air outlet openings can be assigned to a modularly assembled air duct. For example, the air duct has or consists of at least two duct sections that are detachably connected to one another. For example, at least one of the duct sections has at least some of the air outlet openings, in particular at least one or individual air outlet openings. This makes the air duct easy to assemble. This also makes the air duct easy to expand or individual duct sections easy to replace. In this respect, the air duct can be individually and flexibly adapted to the respective requirements of the cold room by connecting more or fewer duct sections to one another to form the air duct. Furthermore, the air duct can be easily cleaned. The modular air duct can be the air duct described above, which has at least one nozzle pipe.
[0021] To simplify assembly of the air duct, the duct sections can be connected to each other at their ends. For this purpose, the respective duct section can have a plug-in receptacle at one end and a plug-in element for insertion into the plug-in receptacle at the other end, or can be designed accordingly.
[0022] In a further embodiment, the recirculation system comprises several or a plurality of air inlet openings, at least some of which are arranged in the region of the second intermediate space and / or in the region of a space occupied by the goods presentation device, in order to suck in a predetermined amount of air via the second intermediate space and / or via the space occupied by the goods presentation device, for example by means of the fan.
[0023] The air inlets can be arranged or aligned in different ways. To counteract the formation of local zones with reduced air exchange, for example, in the area of the merchandise display unit, the air inlets should be distributed along the rear of the merchandise display unit, in particular, they should be arranged in a similar or evenly distributed manner. This is also the aim of the measure whereby, according to one embodiment, the air inlets are arranged one behind the other in one direction along the rear of the merchandise display unit.
[0024] For example, the air inlet openings are arranged one behind the other along the rear of the goods display device, viewed in the direction along the ceiling. For this purpose, according to one possible embodiment, the air inlet openings are arranged one behind the other in a row. According to another embodiment, the air inlet openings can be arranged one behind the other in at least two rows, and the air inlet openings in one row and the air inlet openings in the other row alternate. It can also be provided that the air inlet openings are arranged one behind the other in a row and the air outlet openings are arranged one behind the other in a row, and the rows are at a constant or essentially constant distance from one another or converge on one another.
[0025] The "rear side" of the merchandise display device is understood to mean, in particular, the side of the merchandise display device opposite the merchandise display side. The "merchandise display side" is understood to mean, in particular, the front side of the merchandise display device.
[0026] In a further embodiment, it is provided that at least some of the air inlet openings, in particular at least one or individual air inlet openings, are assigned to a common air duct, which is also referred to below as the exhaust air duct. At least one of the air inlet openings can be formed directly and immediately on the exhaust air duct, for example by the at least one air inlet opening being a through-opening, in particular a bore, in a wall section of the exhaust air duct. This promotes simple and cost-effective production. For example, the air inlet openings have the same opening area and / or opening shape. For example, adjacent air inlet openings are arranged at the same distance from one another.
[0027] In order to enable targeted air extraction from specific areas, according to one embodiment, the air inlets or at least one air inlet are arranged in a predetermined position on the exhaust air duct. This is also the goal of another embodiment in which the at least one air inlet is formed by a flow inlet of a pipe connected to the exhaust air duct. The at least one air inlet can be positioned in a desired position through the pipe to facilitate targeted air extraction from the cooling chamber.
[0028] For example, the pipe extends with its central axis transversely to the longitudinal extent of the exhaust air duct, for example, transversely to the central axis of the exhaust air duct. The pipe can be fixedly arranged on the exhaust air duct, for example, firmly connected to it or molded onto it. The pipe can also be movable relative to the exhaust air duct, for example, rotatable about its central axis in order to be able to position the at least one air inlet opening in a targeted manner. The pipe can comprise at least one curved pipe section, in particular a pipe bend, and / or at least one straight pipe section.
[0029] For example, the pipe has a round, particularly circular, cross-section. The nozzle pipe can also have a square, for example, polygonal, cross-section. The exhaust air duct can be made of plastic or comprise plastic. The pipe can also be made of plastic or comprise plastic. The exhaust air duct and / or the nozzle pipe can comprise or consist of a thermoplastic material, such as PPE.
[0030] In a further embodiment or another embodiment, the air inlet openings can be assigned to a modularly assembled air duct or exhaust air duct. For example, the air duct has or consists of at least two detachably connected duct sections. For example, at least one of the duct sections has at least some of the air inlet openings, in particular at least one or individual air inlet openings. This makes it easy to assemble the air duct or exhaust air duct. This also makes it easy to expand the air duct or exhaust air duct, or to replace individual duct sections. In this respect, the air duct or exhaust air duct can be individually and flexibly adapted to the particular requirements of the cold room by connecting more or fewer duct sections to form the air duct.
[0031] To facilitate assembly of the air duct or exhaust air duct, the duct sections can be connected to each other at their ends. For this purpose, the respective duct section can have a plug-in receptacle at one end and a plug-in element for insertion into the plug-in receptacle at the other end, or can be designed accordingly.
[0032] According to one possible embodiment, a heat exchanger is provided which is fluidly connected to the recirculation system, through which heat is extracted from an outside air flow and / or the air flow drawn in via the at least one air inlet opening and then supplied to the air outlet openings as a cold air flow or cooled air flow. This promotes cooling operation of the cold storage room. In particular, it is provided that the heat exchanger is arranged outside the cold storage room, for example, on the ceiling or in the area of one of the side walls. This enables cooling operation of the cold storage room, which counteracts the formation of condensate. This makes it possible to eliminate the need for condensate drainage measures or at least to implement them on a smaller scale.
[0033] The term "outside air" refers specifically to the air outside the cold storage room, which is or can be supplied to the heat exchanger as an air stream. This outside air can be the air from a sales area, such as a supermarket. It can also be air taken from the outdoors. Through the recirculation system, the air flowing out of the air outlet openings can originate from the extraction through at least one air inlet opening, or the air flowing out of the air outlet openings can originate from an external source, or a combination of both is possible. The heat exchanger extracts heat from this air, so that the desired cold air flows out of the air outlet openings.
[0034] The heat exchanger can be a component of a cooling unit, particularly a plug-in cooling unit. This allows the cold room to be equipped with cooling in a technically simple manner, as prefabricated cooling units already available on the market can be used. In such cooling units, all the components of a refrigeration machine are combined in a correspondingly closed system. The cooling units generate a cold air flow at an outlet, which can be used for cooling in the cold room.
[0035] It can also be provided that the cooling unit, in particular the plug-in cooling unit, sits on the ceiling of the cold room or at least rests against the ceiling. This allows the cooling unit to be housed in a location where it does not take up any usable sales space. Such an arrangement is suitable when the ceiling rests against the product display. This ensures sufficient ceiling stability to accommodate the cooling unit.
[0036] The refrigeration chamber can be implemented differently with regard to the arrangement and / or design of the second intermediate space and / or the other side wall, which, for example, is located opposite the product display wall. The other side wall can also be designed as a product display wall and, for this purpose, have at least one through-opening to allow the goods to be displayed to the outside and / or removed from the outside or outside of the refrigeration chamber.
[0037] Alternatively, the other side wall can be provided without such a through opening. For example, the other side wall then has a closed, particularly continuously closed, wall surface. This design is suitable if the cold storage compartment is to be located near a wall of an installation room. In this case, the cold storage compartment can easily be arranged with its other side wall, which is closed, against or directly near the wall of the installation room, since this side wall does not serve any external product presentation function and therefore does not need to be accessible from the outside.
[0038] The second intermediate space provided by the cold storage room can be designed such that it is walkable. The cold storage room is then a walk-in cold storage room. In this case, the second intermediate space offers at least one or more people the opportunity to stay inside the cold storage room, for example to fill the at least one product display device with chilled goods. The second intermediate space can also be used for the storage and / or temporary storage of chilled goods. The walk-in second intermediate space also enables the product display device to be refilled with chilled goods by a route other than via the through-opening in one side wall. This is because the second intermediate space can be used to fill the cold storage room with new chilled goods or additional chilled goods without impairing the product display function and / or product removal function of the cold storage room, which is performed by the through-opening in one side wall.Alternatively, the second space can be dimensioned in such a way that it is not accessible.
[0039] The above-described configurations of the second intermediate space and / or the other side wall enable a variety of designs for the refrigeration chamber, selected versions of which are discussed below. One embodiment consists in the second intermediate space being delimited on the one hand by the goods presentation device and on the other hand, preferably directly and / or immediately, by the other side wall. In particular, the second intermediate space borders the other side wall. This facilitates a compact design of the refrigeration chamber. For this purpose, the second intermediate space can be so compact that it cannot be walked on. Additionally or alternatively, the other side wall can be closed, i.e., provided without a goods presentation opening.
[0040] According to another embodiment, it can be provided that the cooling chamber has at least one storage device for receiving refrigerated goods, which comprises a front side as the filling side and a rear side and is arranged between the side walls in such a way that the storage device faces the rear side of the other side wall, is spaced therefrom to form a further first intermediate space, and the second intermediate space is present between the at least one storage device and the goods presentation device. In this case, some of the air outlet openings of the recirculation system, in particular at least one or individual or several of the air outlet openings, are directed towards one first intermediate space and another part of the air outlet openings of the recirculation system, in particular at least one or individual or several of the air outlet openings, are directed towards the other first intermediate space in order to blow the air into the respective first intermediate space by means of the air outlet openings.
[0041] This allows for the storage and cooling of goods that are to be used, for example, to refill the merchandise display unit. The storage unit also facilitates the cooling of the goods stored therein thanks to the provided, directed airflow or cold air flow. In this design, the other side wall can be closed, i.e., without a merchandise display opening.
[0042] In addition to its storage function, the storage facility can also have a product display function. For example, the storage facility is structurally identical to the product display facility. The storage facility can be designed as a shelf or shelving system, in particular as described above. For example, the loading side is one of the long sides of a shelf of the shelf.
[0043] According to a further embodiment, the two side walls delimiting the refrigerated chamber in one spatial direction are each provided as a product display wall with at least one through-opening. For example, the refrigerated chamber then has at least two product display devices accommodating refrigerated goods, each of which comprises a product display side for presenting the refrigerated goods and is arranged between the side walls in such a way that the respective product display device faces the associated product display wall with its product display side and is spaced therefrom, forming a first intermediate space, so that the refrigerated goods from the product display devices can be removed from the outside, in particular from outside the refrigerated chamber, via the respective through-opening, and the second intermediate space is formed between the two product display devices.
[0044] Alternatively, it can be provided that only one of the two side walls has the through-opening and serves as a product display wall, while the other of the two side walls is, for example, closed. In this case, only the product display device associated with one product display wall can be provided, so that the second intermediate space is bounded on the one hand by the product display device and on the other hand, preferably directly and / or immediately by the other side wall, which is not equipped with such a through-opening.
[0045] According to a further embodiment, the second intermediate space is designed to be accessible by at least one person. For example, at least one of the side walls has a through-opening as access to the second intermediate space. The at least one side wall with access to the second intermediate space can be one of the two side walls delimiting the cooling space in one spatial direction. If the cooling space is laterally delimited in another spatial direction by two further side walls, one of the further side walls can include a through-opening as access to the second intermediate space.
[0046] For example, a further embodiment consists in the cooling chamber being delimited laterally in a different spatial direction by at least one, preferably two further side walls, wherein the further side walls each have a through opening as access to the second intermediate space and in particular the recirculation system is provided twice. In this case, for example, the at least one air inlet opening of the respective recirculation system is arranged in a region of the through opening of the respective further side wall. The air outlet openings of the respective recirculation system can then also be distributed along the at least one product presentation wall, starting from the region of the nearest further side wall. The two recirculation systems and their arrangement in the region of the respective through opening that can be used as access counteract any cold losses caused by the accesses. For this purpose, it can also be provided that the cooling chamber is provided with at least one, preferably two doors or door elements in order to be able to close at least one of the through openings.
[0047] The cold storage room described above can be installed within a sales area, for example, a supermarket. The cold storage room can be installed freestanding within the sales area. The cold storage room can also be installed with at least one or more of its side walls against or near, in particular in the immediate vicinity of, at least one or more walls of the sales area.
[0048] According to a further aspect of the invention, a kit for constructing a cooling system for a cold room, in particular the cold room described above, is provided. The kit comprises a cooling unit, in particular a plug-in cooling unit, with a cold air outlet and an air duct that can be fluidly connected to the cold air outlet and has several or a plurality of air outlet openings, for example, to blow cold air or cooled air into the cold room. The cooling unit can be the cooling unit described above. The air duct and / or the air outlet openings are the air duct or the air outlet openings described above.
[0049] It can be provided that at least one of the air outlet openings is formed by a flow outlet of a nozzle tube fluidically connected to the air duct, wherein the nozzle tube protrudes into the air duct with a section having a flow inlet such that an inlet surface of the flow inlet is at least partially transverse to the longitudinal axis of the air duct or has a directional component extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the air duct. The nozzle tube promotes a nozzle effect, which increases the flow velocity of the air flowing through the nozzle tube.
[0050] It can further be provided that the nozzle tube is rotatable relative to the air duct in order to move the inlet surface of the flow inlet out of an initial position by rotating the nozzle tube relative to the air duct. In the initial position, the inlet surface of the flow inlet is at least partially transverse to the longitudinal axis of the air duct or has a directional component extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the air duct. In this way, the air flow flowing out through the at least one air outlet opening can be specifically adjusted by moving the nozzle tube more or less, or not at all, out of the initial position relative to the air duct.
[0051] The nozzle tube can also be arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the air duct, in particular, it can be connected to the air duct in a rotationally fixed manner or it can be integrally formed on the air duct. In this case, the nozzle tube is permanently in the initial position relative to the air duct described above.
[0052] The air duct can be modular and comprise at least two detachably connected duct sections, for example, plugged together at their ends, of which at least one duct section has at least some of the air outlet openings. This makes the air duct easy to expand, or individual duct sections can be easily replaced. In this respect, the air duct can be individually and flexibly adapted to the specific requirements of the cold storage room by connecting more or fewer duct sections to form the air duct.
[0053] The kit can also comprise at least one additional air duct, in particular an exhaust air duct, which has at least one air inlet or several or a plurality of air inlets, for example, to draw in air from the cooling chamber. The additional air duct or exhaust air and / or the at least one air inlet can be the exhaust air duct or the at least one air inlet described above.
[0054] Further details and features of the invention will become apparent from the following description of several embodiments with reference to the drawings. They show: Fig. 1 a possible embodiment of a cooling room for the presentation of chilled goods in a sectional view, Fig. 2 the cooling room according to the Figure 1 in a front view, Fig. 3 the cooling chamber according to the Figure 1in a further sectional view, Fig. 4 a possible embodiment of an air duct for the cooling chamber of the Figure 1 , Fig. 5 another possible embodiment of an air duct for the cooling chamber of the Figure 1 , Fig. 6 shows a further possible embodiment of a cooling room for the presentation of chilled goods in a sectional view, Fig. 7 shows a further possible embodiment of a cooling room for the presentation of chilled goods in a sectional view, Fig. 8 shows a further possible embodiment of a cooling room for the presentation of chilled goods in a sectional view and Fig. 9 shows the cooling room according to the Figure 8 in another sectional view.
[0055] Figures 1 , 2 and 3 show - in schematic representation - a possible embodiment of a cold storage room 1 for the presentation of chilled goods. Figure 1 shows the cooling chamber 1 in a cross-section. Figure 2 shows the refrigerator compartment 1 in a front view. The Figure 3 shows the cooling chamber 1 in a top view as a partial section.
[0056] The cooling chamber 1 is limited at the top by a ceiling 2, which is in the Figures 1 and 2 is evident, but in the partial section of the Figure 3 is omitted. The cooling chamber 1 is further delimited downwards by a floor 3 and laterally in one spatial direction by two, preferably opposite, side walls 4, 5. At least one of the side walls 4, 5, for example the side wall 4, is designed as a goods presentation wall 8 and has at least one through-opening 9 for this purpose.
[0057] The refrigerated room 1 has at least one product display device 20 inside that accommodates refrigerated goods, which device comprises, in particular, a front side 24 and a rear side 25, preferably opposite the front side 24. The product display device 20 comprises a product display side 21 for presenting the refrigerated goods, which, for example, is assigned to the front side 24 or is formed by the front side 24.The goods presentation device 20 is arranged between the side walls 4, 5 in such a way that, on the one hand, the goods presentation device 20 faces the goods presentation wall 8 with its goods presentation side 21 and is spaced therefrom, forming a first intermediate space 30 so that the refrigerated goods can be removed from the goods presentation device 20 from the outside via the through-opening 9, and, on the other hand, a second intermediate space 40 is formed between the goods presentation device 20 and the other side wall 5. The second intermediate space 40 can be dimensioned such that it can be accessed by at least one person. For example, the goods presentation device 20 is arranged with its goods presentation side 21 substantially parallel to the goods presentation wall 8.
[0058] As can be seen in particular from the Figure 1As can be seen, the goods presentation device 20 can be a shelf or shelving system and can have several compartments arranged vertically one above the other, of which at least one compartment is continuous, i.e. forms a passage that extends from the goods presentation side 21 to the rear 25 of the goods presentation device 20. For example, the compartments each have a shelf 20.1 or another support for supporting the refrigerated goods. The shelves 20.1 are attached to shelf supports 20.2, in particular vertical supports, or are supported thereon. The shelf supports 20.2 preferably stand with their lower end on the floor 3 and extend with their upper end into the upper region of the cold room 1, preferably up to or against the ceiling 2. The shelf supports 20 are preferably2 are dimensioned such that they serve as a supporting structure for the ceiling 2, so that at least in the area of the goods presentation device 20, a separate supporting structure for the cold room 1 can be dispensed with.
[0059] For example, the goods presentation device 20 designed as a shelf or shelf system is a sliding shelf or sliding shelf system, as can be seen from the Figure 1 is visible. The shelves 20.1 are then preferably aligned at an angle downwards towards the front, towards the goods presentation side 21, in order to effect or at least promote the sliding of the refrigerated goods on the respective shelf 20.1.
[0060] The cold storage room 1 is particularly suitable for use in a sales area, for example, in a supermarket. The chilled goods accommodated in the goods display device 20 are presented to the outside, for example, to customers, and can be removed by customers as needed via the passage opening 9 of the goods display device 20 without the customer having to enter the cold storage room 1. At the same time, the goods display device 20 can be reached via the second intermediate space 40. To do so, the cold storage room 1 must be entered or the second intermediate space 40 must be walked through. The goods display device 20 can be reached through the second intermediate space 40, for example, from behind, i.e. from the rear side 25. The goods display device 20 can thus be filled from behind through the second intermediate space 40.Preferably, the second intermediate space 40 is therefore dimensioned such that a person can easily enter and that the goods presentation device 20 can be reached from behind with a certain volume of refrigerated goods in order to fill or refill the goods presentation device 20.
[0061] The second intermediate space 40 can be accessed through at least one, preferably two, through-openings 67, 68, wherein the through-openings 67 and 68 are preferably provided on side walls 6, 7, which lie between the side walls 4, 5 and, together with the side walls 4, 5, form the lateral outer periphery of the cooling chamber 1. A door 80 or a door element can be provided for closing the through-opening 67. A door 81 or a door element can also be provided for closing the through-opening 68.
[0062] At least one, preferably several, doors 82 or door elements can also be provided to close the passage opening 9 of the side wall 4 or the product display wall 8. To maintain the display function, the doors 82 have at least one area or section that is transparent, in particular transparent. For example, the at least one door 82 is a glass door.
[0063] As can be seen in particular from the Figures 1 and 3 As can be seen, the side wall 5 can also be designed as a product presentation wall 10 and for this purpose have at least one through-opening 11. Furthermore, the cooling chamber 1 can have a further product presentation device 22 which accommodates refrigerated goods and which comprises a product presentation side 23 for presenting the refrigerated goods accommodated therein. The further product presentation device 22 is shown in the Figure 3 indicated by dashed lines.
[0064] For example, the further goods presentation device 22 is arranged between the side walls 4, 5 such that the further goods presentation device 22 faces the goods presentation wall 10 with its goods presentation side 23 and is spaced therefrom to form a further first intermediate space 31, so that the refrigerated goods of the further goods presentation device 22 can be removed from the outside via the through opening 11 and the second intermediate space 40 is present between the goods presentation device 20 and the further goods presentation device 22.
[0065] The additional product display device 22 can be structurally and / or functionally identical to the product display device 20. For example, the additional product display device 22 has shelves 22.1 and shelf supports 22.2. At least one, preferably several, doors 83 or door elements can also be provided on the side wall 5 to close the passage opening 11. The at least one door 83 can be structurally or functionally identical to the door 82 for the passage opening 9 of the side wall 4.
[0066] The refrigeration chamber 1 utilizes at least one air recirculation system 50 to cool the goods stored in the refrigeration chamber 1. The air recirculation system 50 comprises several or a plurality of air outlet openings 52 and at least one air inlet opening 53. Individual or a plurality of the air outlet openings 52 are directed toward the first intermediate space 30 between the goods display wall 8 and the goods display side 21 of the goods display device 20 in order to blow air, for example cold air or cooled air, into the first intermediate space 30 via the air outlet openings 52. Preferably, the at least one air inlet opening 53 is arranged in the region of the second intermediate space 40 in order to draw in air via the second intermediate space 40. In principle, the at least one air inlet opening 53 can also be arranged in the region of a space occupied by the goods display device 20 or extend to that space.
[0067] At least one fan 51 is provided for blowing in air through the air outlet openings 52 and / or for drawing in air through the at least one air inlet opening 53. Preferably, the fan 51 can be regulated or controlled continuously or in stages by means of a control and / or regulating device (not shown in the figures), for example, with regard to its speed.
[0068] The arrangement of the air outlet openings 52 and the at least one air inlet opening 53 creates a targeted air flow, which can be used to flow around the product display device 20 and / or through the compartments of the product display device 20, depending on how the air flow is set by means of the air outlet openings 52 and / or the at least one air inlet opening 53 and / or the at least one fan 51. The air flow created by the air outlet openings 52 and the at least one air inlet opening 53 is Figure 1 indicated by arrows 90. With respect to the recirculation system 50, the first intermediate space 30 and the second intermediate space 40 each serve as a flow space. In this respect, the first intermediate space 30 and the second intermediate space 40 are designed to contribute to achieving the desired recirculation movement.
[0069] For example, the air outlet openings 52 are arranged one behind the other in a row 70, as can be seen in particular from the Figure 3 can be seen. The air outlet openings 52 are distributed along the goods presentation side 21 of the goods presentation device 20 and / or along the side wall 4 serving as the goods presentation wall 8, preferably in the direction from the side wall 6 to the side wall 7. The air outlet openings 52 are preferably arranged in an upper region of the cooling chamber 1, for example in a region of the upper third of the cooling chamber 1, in particular in the region of or near the ceiling 2 ( Figures 1 and 2 ). Preferably, the air is blown out from top to bottom via the air outlet openings 52, as shown, for example, by the arrows 90 in the Figure 1can be seen. Preferably, the at least one air inlet opening 53 is also arranged in an upper region of the cooling chamber 1, for example in a region of the upper third of the cooling chamber 1, in particular in the region of or near the ceiling 2 ( Figures 1 and 2 ).
[0070] The air outlet openings 52 are associated with a common air duct 54 or supply air duct, in particular arranged thereon. Figure 3 For better understanding, the air duct 54 is shown in a sectional view, so that the lower air outlet openings 52 of the air duct 54 are visible.
[0071] At least one of the air outlet openings 52 is formed by a flow outlet 56 of a nozzle tube 58 which is fluidly connected to the air duct 54, as shown by way of example in the Figures 1 and 2can be seen. The air duct 54 can be formed by a pipe, in particular a plastic pipe, which is round, in particular circular, in cross-section. For example, the air duct 54 runs essentially straight or rectilinearly in the area along the side wall 4 serving as the product presentation wall 8. Preferably, the air inlet opening 53 is assigned to a separate air duct 55 or exhaust air duct, in particular arranged thereon.
[0072] For example, the fan 51 is assigned to the air duct 55, in particular arranged therein. The air ducts 54 and 55 can be fluidly connected to one another, for example via an intermediate chamber, so that circulation of the air within the cooling chamber 1 can be realized by the recirculation system 50. The air duct 54 and / or the air duct 55 is preferably closed in cross-section at one longitudinal end 75 and preferably open in cross-section at the other longitudinal end 76, so that an air flow can be guided via the air outlet openings 52 provided therein or the at least one air inlet opening 53 and via the open end 75 in the air duct 54 or 55.
[0073] The air duct 54 and / or the air duct 55 can be formed modularly. For example, the air duct 54 can be formed from several detachably connected duct sections 62, 63, 64, as shown in the Figure 3is indicated. At least one of the duct sections 62, 63, 64, for example the duct sections 63, 64, can have some or all of the air outlet openings 52. The duct sections 62, 63, 64 are preferably each designed as plug-in elements, for example in that each duct section 62, 63, 64 has a plug-in receptacle at one end and a plug-in section for insertion into the plug-in receptacle at its other end. The air duct 54 or the duct sections 62, 63, 64. Preferably, the air duct 54 or the duct sections 62, 63, 64 are formed by pipe sections. Preferably, the duct section 62 is a pipe bend.
[0074] The recirculation system 50 can be fluidly connected to a heat exchanger 65, for example a heat exchanger, through which heat is extracted from an outside air flow and / or the air flow drawn in via the air inlet opening 53 and supplied to the air outlet openings 52 as a cold air flow or cooled air flow. For this purpose, the heat exchanger 65 is preferably fluidly connected on the outlet side to the air duct 54, in particular via the open end 76 of the air duct 54, and, for example, on the inlet side to the air duct 55, in particular via the open end 76 of the air duct 55. The heat exchanger 65 is preferably arranged outside the cooling chamber 1.
[0075] Preferably, the heat exchanger 65 is a component of a cooling unit 66, which contains a refrigeration device coupled to the heat exchanger 65, for example, via a refrigerant-carrying circulation system, in order to extract heat from the air flowing past or through the heat exchanger 65. The cooling unit 66 thus generates cold air at its outlet, which is supplied to the cooling chamber 1 as cold air or cooled air via the air duct 54 and the air outlet openings 52.
[0076] The cooling unit 66 is preferably arranged on the roof or ceiling 2 of the cold storage room or is at least supported against the ceiling 2 of the cold storage room. The heat exchanger 65 can be a component of the cooling unit 66 and, for example, be arranged outside the cold storage room 1. For example, the heat exchanger 65 is arranged in a housing of the cooling unit 66, which is arranged outside the cold storage room 1 and, for example, projects into the cold storage room 1 via a through-opening, for example in the ceiling 2 of the cold storage room 1, with its inlet and outlet. The outlet is preferably fluidically connected to the air duct 54. The inlet is preferably connected to the air duct 55.
[0077] If the product display device 22 is provided, the recirculation system 50 can be expanded such that the product display device 22 is also exposed to the recirculation movement and / or a separate recirculation movement by the recirculation system 50. Preferably, additional air outlet openings 52' are provided for this purpose, which are directed toward the additional first intermediate space 31 between the product display wall 10 and the product display side 23 of the product display device 22 in order to blow air into the additional first intermediate space 31 via the air outlet openings 52'. This creates a recirculation movement that flows around and / or through the product display device 22, depending on how the air outlet openings 52' are arranged and dimensioned.
[0078] The air flow supplied via the air outlet openings 52' into the further first intermediate space 31, after flowing around and / or through the goods presentation device 22, reaches the second intermediate space 40 and is then, for example, together with the air flow that has flowed around and / or through the goods presentation device 20, at least partially discharged via the at least one air inlet opening 53. The circulating air flow generated by the air outlet openings 52' and the at least one air inlet opening 53 is in the Figure 1indicated by way of example by arrows 90'. Preferably, the air outlet openings 52' are designed and arranged in the same way as the air outlet openings 52, so that reference is made to the description of the air outlet openings 52. The air outlet openings 52' are assigned to a common air duct 54'. The common air duct 54' is designed and arranged in the same way as the air duct 54, so that reference is made to the description of the air duct 54.
[0079] As in particular the Figures 2 and 3show, in addition to the cooling unit 66, a further cooling unit 66' can be provided, which interacts with a further recirculation system 50'. Preferably, the further recirculation system 50' is identical in construction to the recirculation system 50. For example, the cooling unit 66 is arranged with the recirculation system 50 in the region of the through opening 67, so that the at least one air inlet opening 53 is arranged in the entrance area of the cold storage room 1. Preferably, the cooling unit 66' is arranged with the recirculation system 50' in the region of the other through opening 68, in particular the at least one air inlet opening 53 of the recirculation system 50' is arranged there. In this way, a rapid suction of the warm air accumulating in the region of the doors 80 and 81 from the cold storage room 1 is possible, in particular when or after the respective door 80 or 81 has been or is opened.
[0080] Figure 4shows a possible embodiment of the nozzle tube 58, which forms one of the air outlet openings 52 at its outlet 56. The nozzle tube 58 is arranged there with a section 59 having a flow inlet 57 projecting into the nozzle tube 58. The section 59 is preferably formed by an arcuate tube element, for example a 90-degree bend. The flow inlet 57 has an inlet surface 60 which is at least partially transverse to the longitudinal axis 61 of the air duct 54 or has a directional component running transversely to the longitudinal axis 61 of the air duct 54. As a result, the flow inlet 57 is at least partially transverse to the flow direction according to arrow 96 and air can flow in. In this orientation, which is a starting position A, the nozzle tube 58 can be fixedly arranged on the air duct 54. The flow tube 58 may have a substantially square cross-section or a round, for example circular, cross-section.
[0081] Alternatively, the nozzle tube 58 can be designed to be rotatable relative to the air duct 54 about a rotation axis 69. By rotating the nozzle tube 58 according to arrow 95, the nozzle tube 58 can then be moved or rotated out of the starting position A relative to the air duct 54, thus adjusting the partial air flow directed through the nozzle tube 58.
[0082] Figure 5 shows a possible embodiment of an air duct 54.1, which can be used in the cooling chamber 1. The air duct 54.1 of the Figure 5 differs from the air duct 54 of the Figures 1 to 3 in that the air outlet openings 52 are arranged in two rows 71, 72 one behind the other, whereby the air outlet openings 52 of one row 71 and the air outlet openings 52 of the other row 72 alternate.
[0083] Figure 6shows a further embodiment of a cold storage room 1.1 for the presentation of chilled goods, wherein the cold storage room 1.1 is shown in a top view as a partial section without a ceiling. Components of the cold storage room 1.1, which are connected to components of the cold storage room 1 of the Figures 1 to 5 are identical or functionally equivalent, are provided with the same reference numerals; in this respect, reference is made to the description of the cooling chamber 1 of the Figures 1 to 5 referred to.
[0084] The cold room 1.1 of the Figure 6 differs from the cooling room 1 of the Figures 1 to 5in that the recirculation system 50 comprises several or a plurality of air inlet openings 53'. Preferably, at least some of the air inlet openings 53' are arranged in the region of the second intermediate space 40 in order to draw in air via the second intermediate space 40. Preferably, the air inlet openings 53' are arranged one behind the other along the rear side 25 of the goods display device 20 in the direction from the side wall 6 to the side wall 7.
[0085] Preferably, the air inlet openings 53' are assigned to a common air duct 73. For example, the air inlet openings 53' are formed by through-openings in the air duct 73, which can, for example, be bores introduced into the air duct. Preferably, the air inlet openings 53' have the same opening cross-section and / or the same opening shape. Preferably, the air duct 73 is designed such that the air inlet openings 53' are provided as bores in the outer casing.
[0086] Preferably, the air duct 73 is closed at one longitudinal end, whereas at its other longitudinal end it is fluidly connected to the cooling unit 66. In this way, the air drawn in from the interior of the cooling chamber 1.1 via the air inlet openings 73' is conveyed in the air duct 73 toward its open end and then flows into the cooling unit 66, where the air is again cooled to a predetermined temperature and then fed back into the interior of the cooling chamber 1.1 as cooled air via the air duct 54 and the air outlet openings 52.
[0087] Preferably, the air duct 73 with the air inlet openings 53' is arranged inside the cooling chamber 1.1, for example, approximately at the height of the air duct 54 with the air outlet openings 52. In this case, the air inlet openings 53' preferably point downwards, i.e., they are provided in the downward-facing casing section of the air duct 73. In the Figure 6For better understanding, the air duct 73 is shown in a sectional view, so that the lower air inlet openings 53' of the air duct 73 are visible.
[0088] Preferably, the air duct 73 is modularly assembled and comprises at least two detachably connected duct sections 74, which are mechanically connected to one another, for example, by means of plug-in connections. For example, the air duct 73 is equipped or constructed in the same way as the air duct 54, with the air outlet openings 52, optionally with the nozzle tubes 58, being incorporated into the air duct 54, and the air inlet openings 53' being incorporated into the air duct 73 as through-openings.
[0089] Preferably, the additional air recirculation system 50' is also configured in the same way as the air recirculation system 50 with regard to the air inlet openings 53'. In this respect, reference is made to the above explanations with regard to the plurality of air inlet openings 53' provided.
[0090] Air circulation is achieved over the length of the cooling chamber 1.1, i.e., in the direction from the side wall 6 to the side wall 7, by means of the air duct 54, which serves as the supply air duct, and the air duct 73, which serves as the exhaust air duct. This results from the fact that the supply air duct 54 or the supply air ducts 54 extend in the longitudinal direction of the cooling chamber 1.1 with their longitudinal extent, and the exhaust air duct 73 or the exhaust air ducts 73 extend in the same way, so that circulation is effected transversely to the longitudinal direction of the cooling chamber 1.1, which circulation is preferably maintained uniformly in the longitudinal direction of the cooling chamber 1.1.
[0091] Figure 7 shows another possible embodiment of a cold storage room 1.2 for the presentation of chilled goods in a cross-section. Components of the cold storage room 1.2 of the Figure 7 which are identical or functionally equivalent to components of the cooling chamber 1 of the Figures 1 to 5 are provided with the same reference numerals; in this respect, reference is made to the description of the cooling chamber 1 of the Figures 1 to 5 referred to.
[0092] The cold room 1.2 of the Figure 7 differs from the cooling room 1 of the Figures 1 to 5in that the product display wall 10 of the cooling chamber 1 is not provided in the cooling chamber 1.2. A side wall 5' is provided there, which is present without a through opening. The side wall 5' has a closed wall surface 29, which is, for example, completely closed. Instead of the product display device 22 of the cooling chamber 1, a storage device 26 can be provided in the cooling chamber 1.2, with a front side 27 and a rear side 28, wherein at least the front side 27 can be used as the filling side.
[0093] The storage device 26 is arranged between the side walls 4, 5' such that the storage device 26 faces the side wall 5' with its rear side 28 and is spaced therefrom, forming the further first intermediate space 31, wherein the second intermediate space 40 is present between the storage device 26 and the goods presentation device 20. The cooling chamber 1.2 is also - like the cooling chamber 1 of the Figures 1 to 5 - accessible. Therefore, the second intermediate space 40 can be entered by at least one person.
[0094] In the cold room 1.2, the goods display device 20 enables the display of goods to the outside and the removal of goods from outside the cold room. Furthermore, the storage device 26 within the cold room 1.2 enables the temporary storage of goods that are simultaneously cooled or kept cool by the cold room 1.2. The goods stored by the storage device 26 can be used to refill or refill the goods display device 20.
[0095] In principle, the cooling room 1.2 can also be used for the cooling room 1.1 of the Figure 6 The design of the air duct or exhaust air duct 73 described above can be realized. Regarding the design in the cooling chamber 1.2, the identical design according to the cooling chamber 1.1 of the Figure 6 which can be used in the same way in cold room 1.2.
[0096] After another (in the Figure 7 In the embodiment (not shown), the cooling chamber 1.2 can also be provided without the storage device 26. In this case, for example, stacking of goods to be stored is possible in the area where the storage device 26 would be provided. For example, beverage crates or other stackable boxes or packaging can be stacked in this area, which are also circulated by cold air or cooled air in the area present there by means of the recirculation system 50.
[0097] Figures 8 and 9 show yet another embodiment of a cold storage room 1.3 for the presentation of chilled goods. Figure 8 shows the cooling chamber 1.3 in a cross-section. Figure 9 shows the cold storage room 1.3 in a top view as a partial section, with the ceiling omitted. Components of the cold storage room 1.3 of the Figures 8 and 9 , which are connected to components of the cooling chamber 1 of the Figures 1 to 5or the cold room 1.1 of the Figure 6 or the cold room 1.2 of the Figure 7 are identical or functionally equivalent, are provided with the same reference numerals; in this respect, reference is made to the description of the cooling chamber 1 or the cooling chamber 1.1 or the cooling chamber 1.2.
[0098] The cooling room 1.3 differs from the cooling room 1 of the Figures 1 to 5 in that the cooling chamber 1.3 has only the product display wall 8 as the sole product display wall. Therefore, the through-opening 9 for the removal and / or presentation of goods from the product display device 20 is only provided in the side wall 4. The side wall provided at the rear of the cooling chamber 1.3 is provided with the reference symbol 5', since this side wall 5' is completely closed, i.e., has the closed wall surface 29, as already stated for the refrigerated cabinet 1.2 of the Figure 7 described.
[0099] In contrast to the refrigerated cabinet 1 of the Figures 1 to 5 is the cold room 1.3 of the Figures 8 and 9 particularly compact and therefore not walkable. In this respect, the opposing side walls 6' and 7' are also provided without access openings into the interior of the cooling chamber 1.3. At most, openings can be provided in the side walls 6' and 7' to access the goods presentation device 20 or the flow-through chamber or the second intermediate space 40 and the first intermediate space 30 from the side. However, the second intermediate space 40 is relatively compact there and not walkable. Preferably, in the cooling chamber 1.3, the second intermediate space 40 borders directly on the side wall 5'.
[0100] As already mentioned in the cold room 1.1 of the Figure 6 For example, the exhaust air duct 73 is also provided in the cooling chamber 1.3, which has a plurality of air inlet openings 53'. The modularity of the air duct 73 can be as already in the cooling chamber 1.1 of the Figure 6described, also in the cold room 1.3.
