AI Technical Summary
Existing personal standing platforms in furniture lack stability in the extended state and are prone to unwanted movement, leading to safety issues and excessive material usage due to the need for strong pull-out rails and guides, while permanent connections can cause damage and noise.
An adjustable support device that lowers the personal standing platform to contact the underlying surface, combined with an energy storage mechanism between the pull-out guide and carrying device, ensuring stability and preventing horizontal movement, and a pivot mechanism for compact and space-efficient design.
The solution provides enhanced stability and safety by distributing the load to the underlying surface, preventing horizontal movement, and allowing for adjustable height to accommodate different surfaces, while maintaining a compact and visually appealing design.
Description
[0001] The invention relates to an arrangement having the features of the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] Furthermore, a piece of furniture with at least one such arrangement should be specified.
[0003] Arrangements which have a person standing platform and are installed in or on a furniture body are already state of the art and are shown in DE 10 2016121274 A1.
[0004] A problem with such arrangements, which have a personnel support platform and are movably mounted in or on a furniture body, is the often lacking stability when extended and their resistance to unintentional movement in the horizontal plane when loaded. After the personnel support platform has been pulled out of the furniture body, it is often not guaranteed that the personnel support platform will be locked or secured, which can lead to dangerous situations when a person is using the personnel support platform. For example, if the person on the personnel support platform shifts their weight, the personnel support platform could move horizontally if it does not have a corresponding locking mechanism in the open position or in a position between the open and closed positions. The person could then fall from the personnel riot platform.
[0005] Furthermore, with various movable personnel support platforms, the forces are only transferred to the extension rails or guides and subsequently to the furniture body. The extension rails and the furniture body must therefore be extremely strong and solid to withstand these forces. This massive construction wastes space and is also expensive due to the material costs. Further problems arise with a permanent connection to the ground beneath the personnel support platform, for example, through rollers or sliding elements on the legs or uprights of the personnel support platform. These make it difficult to extend and retract the personnel support platform and can also lead to unwanted noise or damage to the floor below due to the movement on the ground.
[0006] The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages described above and to provide an arrangement which is improved compared to the prior art and also a piece of furniture which is improved compared to the prior art and has such an arrangement.
[0007] This is achieved by the features of claims 1 and 15.
[0008] Because the support device has at least one support device for supporting the personnel support platform on a subsurface, wherein the at least one support device is designed to be length-adjustable at least in some areas in order to adjust a gap formed with the subsurface in the unloaded state, when a person on the personnel support platform applies a load, the personnel support platform is lowered until it makes contact with the subsurface below via the at least one support device. Thus, the personnel support platform is supported not only by the pull-out guides on the furniture body, but also by the subsurface below, located beneath the furniture body.
[0009] This support also ensures that horizontal movement of the personnel support platform is no longer possible as long as the person on it is loaded by the weight of a person. When the person on the personnel support platform dismounts, the load is relieved, lifted back into a raised position by the energy storage mechanism, and can then be lowered back into the furniture body or furniture. The personnel support platform itself no longer has any contact with the underlying surface, thus preventing damage to the surface (e.g., parquet flooring or similar).
[0010] If this support device is at least partially adjustable lengthwise, the resulting gap can also be adjusted. This is necessary, for example, to compensate for tolerances in the furniture body, the structure of the personnel support platform, or even the subfloor.
[0011] If the at least one extension guide comprises a platform rail that can be coupled to the support device, and the at least one energy storage device is arranged such that it acts between the platform rail and the support device, the forces of the energy storage device or the forces of the person on the personnel support platform are partially transferred to the at least one extension guide located below. The energy storage device acts in an area where it can be concealed or operate efficiently. Furthermore, the support device supports the personnel support platform and, together with the extension guide, creates a stable structure that can withstand the load caused by use by a person.
[0012] If the at least one pull-out guide comprises at least two rails that can be moved relative to one another, and the at least one energy storage mechanism is arranged such that it operates between the at least two rails, a space-saving and compact design is achieved. The energy storage mechanism operates invisibly, which benefits the visual appearance of the arrangement or piece of furniture.
[0013] This can also be achieved by arranging the at least one force accumulator in such a way that it is effective between the at least one fastening device for fastening the at least one pull-out guide and the furniture body.
[0014] If the at least one pull-out guide has a front half and a rear half, which in the assembled state can be arranged adjacent to a rear wall of the furniture body, and the at least one energy accumulator is arranged in the front half of the at least one pull-out guide, the energy accumulator is located exactly in the area of the pull-out guide in which the person will be standing when the personnel support platform is extended. The forces exerted by the person act exactly in the area in which the at least one energy accumulator is located. The entire personnel support platform does not have to be lifted; it is sufficient if it only lifts and / or tilts slightly in the front area when leaving the personnel support platform in order to be able to be pushed into the furniture body.
[0015] This is achieved, for example, in that the arrangement has at least one bearing device for the personnel support platform, wherein the at least one bearing device provides a pivot point about which the personnel support platform can be pivoted, preferably wherein the at least one pull-out guide has a front half and a rear half, which can be arranged adjacent to a rear wall of the furniture body in the assembled state, and the at least one bearing device is arranged in the rear half of the at least one pull-out guide. It is thus possible for the personnel support platform to be mounted via a horizontal pivot axis at the end of the rear half and to be liftable in the region of the front half by the energy storage device. This means that substantially fewer energy storage devices need to be used, since the personnel support platform is movably mounted in the rear region.
[0016] The bearing device also makes it possible to firmly anchor the personnel support platform so that it cannot be moved on the carrying device.
[0017] So to speak, the bearing device takes over the movable storage of the personnel support platform on the carrying device, while at least one energy storage device enables the lifting and lowering of the personnel support platform on the carrying device.
[0018] Additionally, the surface may be slightly flexible, such as a carpet or similar flooring. This allows the gap to be enlarged to prevent the carpet fibers from grazing or buckling when the personnel support platform is extended or retracted. This could lead to damage. Textured tile floors, for example, would also pose a problem. If the gap is too small, contact with raised or exposed areas of the tiles could result in grazing or striking.
[0019] In other words, the length of the support device allows the arrangement to be adapted to the surroundings. Furthermore, the adjustability of at least one support device also allows the arrangement to be attached to different pieces of furniture.
[0020] If the at least one fastening device for fastening the at least one pull-out guide to a furniture carcass is an integral component of the at least one pull-out guide, preferably wherein the at least one pull-out guide comprises a carcass rail and the at least one fastening device is formed on the carcass rail, a stable system is created for fastening the support device and / or the personnel support platform to the furniture carcass, wherein the latter remains horizontally movable. The forces are transmitted directly to the furniture carcass via the integral component of the at least one pull-out guide in the form of the carcass rail. The arrangement is thus directly integrated into the furniture and firmly connected to it, which is reflected in the stability of the arrangement. If the assembly includes at least two extension guides that can be arranged on two opposite sides of the platform, the forces generated during use are distributed across two opposite sides. This eliminates torsional or bending forces on the assembly or the furniture body, resulting in a durable and stable system.
[0021] If the support device has at least one cross member arranged or arrangeable parallel to the at least two extension guides, and / or at least one energy storage device is arranged on each of the two sides of the personnel support platform, the stability of the personnel support platform is increased by the cross members and a uniform lifting of the personnel support platform is ensured by the two opposing energy storage devices.
[0022] According to the invention, the arrangement comprises two drawer extension guides that can be arranged or are arranged below the at least one extension guide provided for the personnel support platform. At least two drawer extension guides are designed to slidably mount a drawer to be arranged below the personnel support platform on the furniture body. This creates a space-saving system consisting of a personnel support platform with a drawer located below or within it. Thus, no space is wasted, ensuring multiple uses of the arrangement. The area below the personnel support platform can be used as storage space, and the drawer located below it can be opened or closed independently of the personnel support platform.
[0023] If the arrangement has at least one coupling device, preferably at least partially magnetic, via which the movement of the at least two drawer extension guides can be coupled at least temporarily with the movement of the at least one extension guide provided for the passenger support platform, the passenger support platform can be simultaneously pulled out when the drawer is pulled out. If this is not the case, only the force of the coupling device needs to be overcome – thus, the passenger support platform remains recessed in the furniture body and only the drawer extends. The coupling device also ensures that the drawer does not open accidentally when the personnel support platform is extended, thus preventing the person using the personnel support platform from stepping onto or into the drawer or tripping over it when stepping down from the personnel support platform.
[0024] If the at least one coupling device comprises at least a first coupling part and a second coupling part that can be connected or releasably connected thereto, wherein the first coupling part can be arranged on a front panel of the drawer to be arranged below the personnel support platform and the second coupling part can be arranged on the support device for the personnel support platform, preferably on an end face of the support device, the coupling device is not visible when the drawer and / or the personnel support platform are closed. This is covered by the front panel. This has the additional advantage that contamination of this coupling device can be excluded and its function is always maintained.
[0025] If the arrangement has at least one ejection device for ejecting the personnel support platform from a closed position arranged in the furniture body into an open position, in which the personnel support platform is arranged at least partially outside the furniture body, preferably wherein the at least one ejection device can be triggered by exerting a triggering force in the closing direction, then an automated ejection of the personnel support platform and / or the drawer located underneath it is possible. A return mechanism to the closed position is also possible. This can be achieved, for example, via an electronic or mechanical trigger arranged in the area of the furniture body or in the area of the arrangement. It would also be conceivable for this trigger and thus also the ejection device to be activated by a touch-latch system.
[0026] If the weight force originating from the weight of the personnel support platform can be canceled out by a counterforce originating from at least one force storage device, whereby the counterforce is greater than or equal to the weight force, it is ensured that when the personnel support platform is not loaded, it is always in a raised state and thus contact with the underlying ground is prevented.
[0027] If the weight of the personnel support platform and a person or object on it exceeds the counterforce exerted by at least one energy storage device, this ensures that the personnel support platform lowers under load and remains secured in position. This prevents accidental movement in the horizontal plane under load from a person or object.
[0028] Further details and advantages of the present invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings. Fig. 1a, 1b the application of the arrangement, Fig. 2 exploded view of the arrangement, Fig. 3 sectional drawing through the arrangement, perspective view, Fig. 4 arrangement in side view - sectional view in the unloaded state and the closed position, Fig. 5 detail from the Fig. 4 , Fig. 6 Arrangement in the open position - in the loaded state, Fig. 7 Arrangement in the open position - in the unloaded state, Fig. 8 Frame construction to support the arrangement, Fig. 9 Drawer under the personnel support platform, Fig. 10 Exploded view of the energy storage device, and Fig. 11a, 11b Energy storage device in the loaded / unloaded state.
[0029] In Fig. 1a It is shown that the arrangement 1 can be completely retracted into the furniture body 4 or into the furniture 31 and thus does not get in the way when using the furniture 31. In addition, the Fig. 1a schematically a person trying to take something out of a higher area of a piece of furniture 31.
[0030] However, the person is too small and then opens the arrangement 1 from the closed position to the open position, which is located in the furniture 31.
[0031] By pulling out the arrangement 1, the person is now able to reach higher areas of the furniture 31 more easily, as shown in the Fig. 1b is shown.
[0032] Fig. 2 shows the assembly 1 in an exploded view. This consists of the personnel support platform 6, which is supported on the support device 5 or can also be formed by it.
[0033] The personnel support platform 6 and / or the carrying device 5 have two sides 20, 21, to each of which a pull-out guide 2 is attached.
[0034] The pull-out guide 2 essentially comprises a cabinet rail 11 and a platform rail 10, which are slidably mounted relative to each other. The fastening device 3 for attaching the pull-out guide 2 to a furniture carcass 4 is located on the cabinet rail 11.
[0035] The embodiment of the Fig. 2 shows how the support device 5 extends like a frame in the area under the personnel support platform 6 and two support devices 17 for supporting the personnel support platform 6 from the ground below the personnel support platform 6 (see Fig. 6 ). These support devices 17 are adjustable in height via adjusting elements 38.
[0036] Between the personnel support platform 6 and / or the support device 5 and / or the extension guide 2, there is at least one energy storage device 8, which raises the personnel support platform 6 against the weight force 9. This is achieved, for example, by a spring 7 arranged in the energy storage device 8. Instead of a spring 7, a gas pressure cylinder, an elastomer, such as a rubber element, or something similar, can also be used.
[0037] Under the personnel support platform 6 there is a drawer 24, which is attached to separate Fig. 2 not visible, drawer extension guides 23. This drawer 24 has a front panel 28 in the front area, which covers the personnel support platform 6 and also the drawer 24 below it when closed.
[0038] The personnel support platform 6 is connected and supported to the support device 5 via at least one support device 15 in the rear area.
[0039] Fig. 3 shows a sectional view of the arrangement 1. It can be seen how the drawer 24 is located in the area below the personnel support platform 6. The arrangement 1 is in the closed position in the furniture body 4. The entire arrangement 1 is concealed at the front on the visible side of the furniture by the front panel 28 as soon as this is in the closed position.
[0040] Fig. 4 shows the closed position of the drawer 24 and the personnel support platform 6 in the furniture body 4 of the furniture 31. It can be seen how the personnel support platform 6, with the supporting device 5 located underneath, lifts off the underlying base 18 via the at least one energy storage device 8, and the support device 17 thus has no contact with the base 18. A gap 19 is thus created because the counterforce F is higher than the weight force 9 of the personnel support platform 6 and the associated assemblies arranged thereon.
[0041] In this state, it would now be possible to move the drawer 24 out of the furniture body 4 without moving the passenger support platform 6. Thus, the drawer 24 can also be used independently of the passenger support platform 6.
[0042] The energy storage device 8, with the spring 7 preferably located inside, is located essentially in the front half 12 of the extension guide 2. The bearing device 15, which supports the pedestrian support platform 6 so that it can pivot horizontally about a pivot point 16, is located in the rear region of the rear half 14. Thus, a horizontal pivoting of the pedestrian support platform 6 about the pivot point 16 of the bearing device 15 is achieved via the energy storage device 8 and also against the energy storage device 8. In other words, a tilting mechanism is generated by the at least one energy storage device 8 and the pivot point 16.
[0043] If the gap 19 is too small, for example, if the support device 17 touches the base 18 when the personnel support platform 6 is extended, the gap can be enlarged by adjusting the adjustment element 38. Tolerances on the furniture 31, the furniture body 4, or even on the base 18 can also be compensated for using the adjustment element 38.
[0044] Located in the rear area of the furniture body 4 is an ejection device 29, which enables the drawer 24 and / or the personnel support platform 6 to be ejected in an automated manner. In other words, the ejection device 29 can move the personnel support platform 6 and / or the drawer 24 simultaneously or independently of each other from the open position to the closed position and vice versa.
[0045] The drawer 24 is connected to the furniture body 4 via drawer extension guides 23. A coupling device 25 is arranged between the front panel 28 and the personnel support platform 6 or the support device 5 located thereon, which can couple the movement between the drawer 24 and the personnel support platform 6.
[0046] Fig. 5 shows a detail from the Fig. 4 , it can be seen how the energy storage device 8 is in the extended, relaxed state. Thus, it pushes the personnel support platform 6 and the supporting device 5 located underneath it off the platform rail 10 located below, which is mounted so that it can move along the body rail 11.
[0047] Located at the rear, upper area of the front panel 28 is the first coupling part 26, which can establish a connection to the second coupling part 27. The second coupling part 27 is located on the front side of the support device 5 and / or the personnel support platform 6. This creates a coupling device 25, which can be formed, for example, by magnets. If the drawer 24 is pulled and extended, the personnel support platform 6 is moved along via the coupling device 25. If this is not desired, the user can overcome the force, preferably the magnetic force, of the coupling device 25 and only the drawer 24 is extended, while the personnel support platform 6 remains in the furniture body 4.
[0048] Fig. 6 shows the arrangement 1 in the open position of the personnel support platform 6 in the loaded state—for example, by a person standing on the personnel support platform 6. The counterforce F originating from at least one force accumulator 8 is overcome, and the personnel support platform 6 is supported by the at least one support device 17 on the ground 18.
[0049] Due to the friction generated by the weight (load exerted by a person standing on the arrangement 1) between the support device 17 and the base 18, any undesired displacement of the personnel support platform 6 in the horizontal plane can be ruled out. The movement of the personnel support platform 6 and the underlying support device 5 against the counterforce F of the counteracting, at least one energy accumulator 8 forces the personnel support platform 6 and / or the underlying support device 5 to tilt about the pivot point 16 of the bearing device 15. The personnel support platform 6 is supported in different areas. On the one hand, support is provided via the at least one support device 17 in the front area, and in the rear area, support is provided via contact with the carcass rail 11, which is directly connected to the furniture carcass 4 via the fastening device 3.
[0050] Regardless of the position of the personnel support platform 6, the drawer 24 can be extended and retracted at any time. For this purpose, a drawer extension guide 23 with a wider extension range relative to the extension range of the extension guide 2 is selected. This must compensate not only for the length of the extension range of the personnel support platform 6 but also for the insertion length of the drawer 24 itself.
[0051] However, it would also be possible to mount the drawer pull-out guides 23 not on the furniture body 4 but, for example, on the support devices 17. Thus, a drawer pull-out guide 23 with a shorter extension range could be selected.
[0052] Fig. 7 shows the personnel support platform 6 in the open position, but in an unloaded state. The counterforce F of at least one force accumulator 8 now acts against the weight force 9 and lifts the personnel support platform 6. Thus, the support device 17 loses contact with the base 18, and the gap 19 forms. Subsequently, the personnel support platform 6 can be lowered back into the furniture body 4.
[0053] Fig. 8 shows the support device 5, which is designed as a frame 33. The frame 33 essentially consists of the corner connectors 32, which connect at least one strut 39 to the cross members 22. Also located on the corner connectors 32 is at least one support device 17, which is adjustable in height via the adjustment elements 38.
[0054] In the area next to the cross members 22 there is at least one energy storage device 8, which Fig. 8 not visible personnel support platform 6 and is supported by the platforms located under the cross beams 22 in the Fig. 8 not visible, pull-out guides 2.
[0055] The carrying device 5, which is designed as a frame 33, is directly connected to the personnel support platform 6 located above it (in Fig. 8 not visible). This can be done, for example, by screwing the corner connectors 32 to the personnel support platform 6. The personnel support platform 6 is formed, for example, by a wooden plate or something similar. Due to the frame construction of the support device 5, it is thus possible to attach different personnel support platforms 6 to the support device 5. This allows for a visual adaptation to the piece of furniture 31 (in Fig. 8 not visible). Furthermore, the frame construction also allows adaptation to different dimensions of furniture via a frame 33 due to differently selected struts 39 and cross members 22.
[0056] Fig. 9 shows a schematic representation of an extended drawer 24, the personnel support platform 6 is located in the retracted state in the furniture body 4. The personnel support platform 6 could also be extended further, covering the upper area of the drawer 24. Depending on the selected extension length of the drawer extension guides, the drawer 24 can also be extended when the personnel support platform 6 is extended.
[0057] Fig. 10 shows the energy storage device 8 in an exploded view. This essentially consists of three components. The spring 7 is located between an inner element 34 and an outer element 35. The outer element 35 is—as shown in the previous figures—connected to the personnel support platform 6 and / or the supporting device 5 located underneath. The lower part of the inner element 34 pushes off the extension rail 2.
[0058] The energy accumulator 8 has connecting elements 36 on its inner element 34, which engage in a corresponding connection opening 37 on the outer element 35 and thus prevent the spring 7 from falling out. This connection also achieves a certain preload on the spring 7.
[0059] Fig. 11a shows the energy storage device 8 in the loaded state. The weight of the personnel support platform 6 located above it and the person or object on it is greater than the spring force F of the spring 7 arranged in the energy storage device 8.
[0060] In the Fig. 11b It is shown how the personnel support platform 6 has been relieved of load and thus only its weight force 9 acts against the counterforce F. The counterforce F of the spring 7 is stronger than the weight force 9, whereby the energy accumulator 8 is partially relaxed. List of reference symbols:
