Description
Introduction
[0001] The present application relates to an openable room closure device according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the present application relates to a method for opening a room closure device according to the preamble of claim 13.
[0002] The room enclosure device, which can in particular be formed by a skylight dome for a roof, comprises a curb and a room enclosure element. Such room enclosure devices are particularly used in hall roofs in sports halls or factory buildings. The curb is typically directly connected to the respective structure on which the room enclosure device is acting, whereby the curb can, for example, protrude beyond the surface of an adjacent building component. The room enclosure element can, for example, be made of a transparent material, in particular translucent plastic, and extends over a certain opening area. This opening area is laterally delimited by the curb, so that by placing or placing the room enclosure element all the way around the curb, the opening area is "covered" and the space associated with the room enclosure element is closed off.The curb can, in particular, have a circumferential edge, wherein a sealing surface of the edge interacts with the enclosure element (when the latter is in a closed position) in a manner that is at least rainproof, preferably airtight. In particular, the sealing surface can be formed on an upper end face of the curb and arranged entirely in a sealing plane.
[0003] The room enclosure device further comprises at least one drive and at least one transmission device. The drive is suitable for applying an opening force by means of which the room enclosure element can be opened directly or indirectly from its closed position. The force of the drive is transmitted to the room enclosure element via the transmission device. The room enclosure element can, in particular, be arranged on the upstand in such a way that it can be lifted off the upstand to release a flow cross-section between the room and the environment. In this way, the room closed off by the room enclosure device can be ventilated.
[0004] The room closure element can be transferred to a RWA position, whereby the flow cross-section between the room to which the room closure element is assigned and an environment against which the room closure element closes off the room is maximally opened when the room closure element is in its RWA position. In particular, when the room closure element is in its RWA position, the flow cross-section can have the size of a cross-section of the upstand in the area of the sealing plane. Alternatively or additionally, when the room closure element is in its RWA position, the flow cross-section can be opened to the extent that it would be opened if the room closure device did not have a room closure element. RWA is the abbreviation for smoke and heat extraction system.
[0005] The ability to convert the room closure element into the SHEV position is necessary to ensure ventilation of the room in an emergency situation, especially in the event of a fire. This particularly applies to room closure devices located in a roof. In the event of a fire, smoke gases accumulating in the room can escape through the opened room closure devices, thus extending the time window for escape from the associated building. State of the art
[0006] Room closure devices of the type described above are already known in the prior art. For example, FR1445716 A, DE8808856 U1, DE102009059107 A1, DE29921090 U1, EP1318248 A1, and US3903661 A describe known room closure devices. Ensuring reliable opening of the room closure device in an emergency has proven problematic. The opening process must meet particularly high standards of reliability and speed. In particular, the room closure element must be capable of being moved into its RWA position even when a load, such as snow, is applied to its upper side. Furthermore, it must be possible to open the device within a specified period of time, such as 60 seconds, even in the presence of the load.
[0007] The equipment required to meet these criteria is particularly high compared to what a room separation device must achieve during normal operation. This means that the dimensioning of the actuator, in particular, is largely determined by the requirements of a smoke and heat extraction system. However, the available power of the actuator is only used in fractions during normal operation. Due to these circumstances, the existing room separation devices are comparatively complex in their design, although this is not necessary for typical use. Task
[0008] The present application is therefore based on the object of providing a room closure device which is constructed more efficiently than the prior art. Solution
[0009] The underlying problem is solved according to the invention by means of a room closure device having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments emerge from the subclaims 2 to 12.
[0010] According to the invention, the transmission device comprises at least one elongated pivot arm, which is mounted on the room closure device, in particular the curb, so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis. The pivot arm interacts with the room closure element in a force-transmitting manner by means of at least one coupling means, wherein the coupling means is arranged at a distance from the pivot axis. The drive also engages the pivot arm in such a way that an engagement point of the drive on the pivot arm and the pivot axis are spaced from one another, forming a lever arm. This causes a drive force applied by the drive to produce a torque about the pivot axis, by means of which torque the pivot arm can be pivoted about the pivot axis. The pivot arm is typically arranged on an edge of the curb, in particular on the inside of a side wall thereof, with the pivot axis preferably associated with the side wall. For example, the pivot arm can be connected to the curb by means of a mounting bracket, with the pivot axis formed on the mounting bracket. When the enclosure element is in its closed position, the pivot arm is preferably located entirely within the enclosure device, i.e., on this side of the sealing plane of the curb. In this position, the pivot arm is not visible from the surroundings.
[0011] Advantageously, the transmission device is formed by the pivot arm, so that the transmission device is designed as a single piece, with the pivot arm being directly connected to both the upstand and the room-enclosing element. The drive preferably engages directly on the pivot arm. It is conceivable for the room-enclosing device to comprise two transmission devices, each formed by a pivot arm and each assigned to one of two opposite sides of the room-enclosing element.
[0012] The room enclosure element preferably interacts with two pivot arms, each arranged on one side of the room enclosure element. The coupling means of both pivot arms are then preferably located on a common axis, which is arranged parallel to the pivot axis of the pivot arms. This has the advantage that, if the coupling means are designed with a rotation axis, the rotation axes of both coupling means of the pivot arms coincide or match, so that the room enclosure element can be rotated relative to the pivot arms about this (common) rotation axis.
[0013] The present invention is based on the idea of transferring the room closure element into its RWA position by means of gravity and thus independently of the drive used. To do this, the room closure element must be tilted starting from its typically horizontally oriented closed position so that the weight force acting on the room closure element receives a horizontal vectorial component. This can be used to move the room closure element laterally relative to the curb and in this way to remove it as completely as possible from the curb, which is then completely released. The latter describes the RWA position of the room closure element, since the flow cross-section for the exchange of air between the room and the environment is maximally released.
[0014] To implement the above consideration, in the room enclosure device according to the invention, in contrast to the prior art, there is no direct pivoting of the room enclosure element by means of a drive about a lateral pivot axis, which is assigned, for example, to an edge of the room enclosure element itself. Instead, the pivot arm on which the room enclosure element is mounted is pivoted. Due to its coupling to the pivot arm, the room enclosure element is only moved indirectly, namely as a result of the pivoting of the pivot arm about its pivot axis. This ensures that the room enclosure element can be lifted off the curb as a whole, thus creating a (vertical) distance between the room enclosure element and the curb.In particular, by means of the design according to the invention it is possible to lift the space closure element completely (i.e. all around) out of its sealing seat and thereby release a circumferential flow cross-section.
[0015] Creating the gap between the room closure element and the upstand helps ensure that the room closure element can move freely relative to the upstand, particularly due to the force of gravity, allowing it to "slide" sideways without colliding with the upstand. This allows the room closure element to be moved into its RWA position particularly easily and quickly. A specially dimensioned drive is not required, as the actual transfer of the room closure element to the RWA position is not performed by the drive. The latter is only needed to move the room closure element into an intermediate position, from which it can be moved further under the influence of gravity. When in the intermediate position, the room closure element is typically lifted from the upstand and oriented at least slightly inclined to the horizontal. The pivoting movement of the pivot arm can be particularly useful for bringing the room closure element arranged on the pivot arm into an inclined position, from which the transfer to the RWA position can take place.
[0016] According to the invention, the room closure element comprises at least one movement frame, by means of which at least one surface part of the room closure element is movable, i.e. translationally displaceable, relative to the pivot arm. The movement frame is preferably connected directly to the pivot arm by means of the at least one coupling means and is thus firmly attached to the pivot arm. A movement of the movement frame as such relative to the pivot arm is advantageously possible - if at all - only in the form of a rotation about an axis of rotation, under the formation of which axis the movement frame is connected to the pivot arm by means of the coupling means. This will be discussed separately below. A movement of the surface part, which can be a translucent coupling element, for example, relative to the pivot arm is now enabled by means of the movement frame itself.According to the invention, the movement frame has at least one rail system, preferably in the form of a telescopic rail, by means of which the surface part can be moved translationally relative to the pivot arm.
[0017] This design allows the surface part to be moved away from the effective area of the room closure element, so that the opening area of the curb is at least substantially, preferably completely, exposed. In other words, by means of such a design, a flow cross-section can be exposed by "pushing away" or "sliding away" the surface part. This release is suitable for maximally exposing the opening area, as if there were no room closure element on the curb. After the surface part has been moved relative to the pivot arm, the room closure element is thus in its RWA position. The described "pushing away" or "sliding away" can be achieved particularly easily by means of the weight of the surface part.
[0018] This allows for optimal ventilation of the room sealed off from the environment by the room closure device, particularly in the event of a fire. For this purpose, a complete pivoting of the room closure element by 90° or more, possibly counteracting an acting weight force, for example, caused by snow, as required in the prior art, is no longer necessary. Instead, it is conceivable to simply lift the room closure element slightly from its sealing seat in a first movement section and to tilt it slightly relative to a horizontal line in a second movement section, so that at least the surface section is tilted.By means of the movement frame, at least the surface part of the room closure element can then be moved sideways ("sliding"), in particular under the sole effect of its weight, which has a lateral vectorial component due to the inclination, whereby the opening surface of the upstand is released and the room closure element is finally in its RWA position.
[0019] With such a design, the room closure element can be moved into its RWA position by moving its surface portion relative to the pivot arm. Compared to the prior art, this approach requires a significantly smaller drive, as complete "turning" of the room closure element—i.e., pivoting it relative to the upstand by more than 90°—is not necessary. Furthermore, as an additional advantage, the transfer of the room closure element into its RWA position in an emergency situation can be carried out significantly faster than the "turning" of the respective room closure element known in the prior art. In particular, a significantly reduced stroke compared to the prior art is sufficient to move the room closure element to an inclined intermediate position and then to its RWA position, as complete turning is no longer necessary according to the prior art. This is particularly advantageous when the drive is designed in the form of a pneumatic piston-cylinder unit or an electric drive unit. Such a unit can be significantly smaller in the space closure element according to the invention than in the prior art.
[0020] Advantageously, the room closure device according to the invention is designed such that the room closure element and the pivoting arm are connected to one another when the room closure element is in its RWA position. The connection can in particular consist of a movement frame that is directly connected to the pivoting arm and with the aid of which a surface part of the room closure element is moved relative to the pivoting arm. The existence of the connection between the room closure element and the pivoting arm even when the room closure element is in its RWA position has the advantage that the transfer of the room closure element back towards its closed position is fundamentally possible. It is therefore particularly advantageous if the room closure device can be transferred to its RWA position without causing any damage.
[0021] In principle, a room closure device is particularly advantageous in which the surface part can be repeatedly moved between a normal position corresponding to the closed position of the room closure element and an emergency position corresponding to the RWA position of the room closure element. This allows the room closure element to be returned to its closed position particularly easily after being moved to its RWA position. This makes it possible, for example, for the room closure device to continue its intended operation without any special effort in the event of a false alarm that triggers the transfer of the room closure element to its RWA position and thus the surface part to its emergency position.
[0022] Regardless of the design of the room closure device with a movement frame, it can also be particularly advantageous if the pivot arm, when the room closure element is in its RWA position, is in a deflection position rotated around the pivot axis such that the pivot arm protrudes outward beyond a sealing plane of the curb and is preferably oriented at an angle relative to a horizontal plane. In other words, with this design, the pivot arm is moved through or penetrates the sealing plane of the curb during the transfer of the room closure element, starting from its closed position toward its RWA position. As a result, the pivot arm is visible from the surrounding area, at least when the room closure element is in its RWA position, since it is no longer completely "inside" the curb, but rather protrudes at least partially beyond the sealing plane. This design is advantageous in that the pivoting arm is capable of lifting the room closure element above the sealing plane of the upstand, allowing the room closure element to be lifted all the way around from its sealing seat and creating a gap between the room closure element and the upstand. During this lifting (or lowering) process, the available airflow cross-section is significantly increased, allowing for particularly effective ventilation of the room.
[0023] When using this construction, it is further advantageous if the room closure element comprises at least one locking means which at least temporarily prevents movement of the surface part relative to the pivoting arm. The locking means preferably acts at least until the pivoting arm is in a deflected position. The locking means serves in particular to prevent a transfer of the room closure element into its RWA position, which is mechanically possible but undesirable in the absence of a smoke and heat exhaust situation. Such a configuration is particularly advantageous in combination with a movement frame described above which enables translational movement of at least one surface part of the room closure element relative to the pivoting arm. The locking means prevents this movement by locking the surface part in such a way that relative movement between the surface part and the pivoting arm is prevented.By releasing the locking mechanism, however, the aforementioned movement is possible, allowing the room closure element to be moved into its RWA position. Such a release can occur, for example, (automatically) as a result of a fire alarm or via a manually operated control unit. As long as the locking mechanism is closed, the room closure element can be moved to its intended open position, in which the flow cross-section between the upstand and the room closure element is released for normal ventilation.
[0024] When using the room closure device, it is also conceivable to control the transfer of the room closure element into its RWA position by deflecting the pivot arm, whereby the transfer of the locking means from a fixed position to a release position is made dependent on the position of the pivot arm. Thus, a certain deflection of the pivot arm can automatically trigger the release of the locking means, whereby, particularly due to the effect of gravity, at least the surface part of the room closure element is automatically moved translationally relative to the pivot arm by means of the movement frame, thus transferring the room closure element into its RWA position. However, this release does not occur if the pivot arm is merely moved to a "pre-position" in which the locking means is not yet released. In particular, for the purpose of ventilating the associated room, the pivot arm can be moved into any desired pre-position, preventing unintentional movement of the surface part relative to the pivot arm, while still partially opening the flow cross-section between the room and the environment, allowing ventilation of the room. With such a configuration, it is conceivable that, for example, in the event of a fire alarm, the drive could be automatically controlled to raise the pivot arm(s) to their maximum height, thereby assuming their deflected position, whereby the locking means is automatically moved from its fixed position to its released position.
[0025] In a further embodiment of the room closure device according to the invention, the at least one pivot arm is movable from its deflected position into a return position, in which at least a section of the pivot arm, preferably the entire pivot arm, is oriented at an inverse inclination relative to the sealing plane of the curb compared to the deflected position. This embodiment has the technical effect that the surface part of the room closure element can be moved from its emergency position back into its normal position exclusively by means of the weight of the surface part. This is due to the fact that by transferring the pivot arm orthe pivot arms into the return position, the inclination of the room closure element is changed compared to its RWA position, so that the surface part, under the effect of a horizontal force component of its weight, which is directed towards the pivot arm, moves again in the direction of the pivot arm by means of the movement frame, so that the surface part is moved from its emergency position into its normal position. In this normal position of the surface part, the room closure element is suitable in the usual way for coming into sealing engagement with the upstand and in this way establishing the closed position of the room closure element. After all of this, with this embodiment, the room closure element can be moved into its emergency position and back again solely by moving the at least one pivot arm. Manual intervention, in particular on a roof surface in which the room closure device is installed, can be omitted.
[0026] In a further embodiment of the enclosure element according to the invention, the element comprises at least one locking device by means of which the enclosure element can be locked at least partially, preferably along part of an edge, against the curb. This locking device ensures that the enclosure element is only partially lifted from its sealing seat during the movement of the transmission device - namely, in particular, not in the region of the locked edge - and thus becomes inclined relative to the sealing plane. This configuration is particularly advantageous when the enclosure element is arranged on the transmission device, forming a rotation axis, and thus, after being lifted from the curb, would in principle be freely rotatable relative to the transmission device. This could result in irregular conditions, which is why it may be advantageous to partially and temporarily lock the room closure element to the upstand in the manner described, so that a movement of the room closure element can be controlled during its transfer from its closed position, for example, to an open position.
[0027] Advantageously, at least when the room closure device is in its closed position, the pivot arm is connected to the room closure element, for example a movement frame thereof, at one point only, forming a rotational axis. In this way, it is possible for the room closure element to be rotated about the rotational axis relative to the pivot arm when the drive is actuated and the room closure element is thereby raised, at least until a rotational coupling of the pivot arm to the room closure element takes place, which prevents the two components from rotating relative to one another. The aforementioned embodiment can be particularly advantageous in conjunction with a one-piece pivot arm, as described at the beginning. The coupling of the pivot arm to the room closure element at a second coupling point orBy means of a second coupling means, the locking can occur, in particular, simultaneously with the unlocking of the locked edge of the room-enclosing element from the upstand. In this way, the position of the room-enclosing element relative to the pivot arm is defined at any time during a movement of the pivot arm.
[0028] A particularly advantageous design is one in which the locking device interacts with an edge of the partition element facing the drive, so that when the pivot arm is raised, the partition element initially detaches from the upstand on the side facing away from the drive. This design is particularly advantageous for achieving simultaneous locking and unlocking. It provides that the locking device is released at the exact moment the partition element is locked to the pivot arm, for example by means of a coupling means. By doing this, the partition element is never free to pivot uncontrollably towards the pivot arm. Instead, as the partition device opens, the partition element is transferred from the upstand to the pivot arm.The pivoting of the room closure element relative to the pivot arm is thus controlled and predetermined at all times. Before the pivot arm is coupled at a second coupling point, a relative rotation of the pivot arm relative to the room closure element takes place as long as the latter is locked to the upstand.
[0029] Furthermore, such an embodiment of the room closure device according to the invention can be advantageous in which the pivot arm has at least one further coupling means, by means of which the room closure element and the pivot arm can be connected to one another in addition to the first coupling means mentioned. The further coupling means is formed on the pivot arm, in particular, at a distance from the first coupling means, so that both coupling means can jointly absorb a force couple and thus dissipate a torque. In this way, the room closure element can be locked to the pivot arm in a rotationally fixed manner, so that rotation of the room closure element, in particular about a rotation axis formed on the first coupling means, is prevented. The additional coupling means can, for example, act depending on a deflection of the pivot arm, whereby a sudden shift in the center of gravity of the room closure device occurs, particularly during the transfer of the room closure element to its RWA position when the surface part moves relative to the pivot arm. In the absence of the additional coupling means, this shift can lead to the entire room closure element being rotated about its axis of rotation relative to the pivot arm. This can be prevented by means of the additional coupling means.
[0030] From a process engineering perspective, the underlying problem is solved according to the invention by means of the method having the features of claim 13. Advantageous embodiments emerge from subclaims 14 to 16.
[0031] It is already known from the prior art to move a room closure element of a respective room closure device from a closed position relative to the respective upstand by means of at least one drive, whereby the room closure element is at least partially lifted from its sealing seat and a flow cross-section is opened between the room, which can be closed off from the environment by means of the room closure device, and the environment. Furthermore, it is known to remove the room closure element from the upstand in such a way that it is in its emergency position, in which the flow cross-section between the room and the environment is maximally opened.
[0032] In the context of this application, "removal" does not require complete disassembly or removal of the room enclosure element, but merely a movement of at least part of the room enclosure element away from the upstand. In particular, it is known in the prior art to pivot a respective room enclosure element about a pivot axis arranged along a lateral edge of the associated upstand, whereby, to assume the smoke and heat extraction position, the room enclosure element is pivoted by at least 90° and finally flips over. The connection between the room enclosure element and the upstand at the pivot axis remains intact throughout; nevertheless, the room enclosure element is "removed" from the upstand within the context of this application.
[0033] The process according to the invention is now characterized by the following process steps: a) In a first movement section, the room closure element is lifted from its sealing seat, at least substantially while maintaining its alignment. b) In a second movement section, the room closure element is rotated relative to the upstand until the room closure element is in an intermediate position. c) Starting from the intermediate position, at least a surface portion of the room closure element is moved translationally relative to the upstand until the room closure element is in its RWA position.
[0034] The method according to the invention can be carried out particularly easily using the room closure device according to the invention. It offers the particular advantage that the room closure element can be transferred into its RWA position very quickly compared to the prior art and at the same time with particularly little equipment expenditure. This also applies to the particularly short stroke that is effectively required to transfer the room closure element into its RWA position. This leads to the advantage that the drive responsible for moving the room closure element does not have to be dimensioned in the same way as in the prior art, but can be made comparatively small and weak. Ultimately, the drive is only responsible for moving the room closure element in the two movement sections, while the translational movement of at least the surface part relative to the curb orthe swivel arm can be carried out without the effect of the drive, but is preferably operated solely by means of the weight force of the surface part.
[0035] During the transfer of the room closure element into its RWA position, at least one surface section of the room closure element is advantageously moved exclusively in a translational manner. This movement is then independent of any pivoting of the room closure element about the pivot axis, but acts solely due to an already achieved inclination of the surface section. Preferably, the translational movement is driven solely by the weight of at least the surface section of the room closure element. Such a design is particularly simple to implement, as no separate drive is required for the surface section, and is also extremely safe, as it occurs solely due to the acting weight, independent of any electricity or other supply to the room closure device.
[0036] Further developing the method according to the invention, the room closure element is moved from its intermediate position to its smoke and heat extraction position exclusively by gravity. This has already been explained above. This type of operation of the room closure device has the particular advantage that it can be performed without power and is therefore particularly reliable in an emergency situation.
[0037] Furthermore, a method in which the room closure element is moved exclusively by gravity from its RWA position back toward its closed position is particularly preferred, with at least the surface part of the room closure element preferably being movable in this way from an emergency position corresponding to the RWA position of the room closure element to a normal position corresponding to the closed position of the room closure element. It is not crucial that the room closure element immediately return to its closed position. Instead, it is more advantageous if the room closure element is first moved to a second intermediate position. In particular, this procedure does not require an additional drive to operate the room closure device in order to ultimately return it to its closed position, which can be easily reached from the second intermediate position.
[0038] As already explained above in connection with the room enclosure device, it can be particularly advantageous if the room enclosure element is at least partially locked to the curb during the first movement section, preferably along an edge of the curb, so that the room enclosure element is only partially lifted from the curb during the first movement section. This locking results in the room enclosure element being inclined, starting from a horizontal orientation in its sealing seat. This procedure prevents uncontrolled movement of the room enclosure element relative to the pivot arm, which could result in an uncontrolled rotation of the room enclosure element about the rotation axis of the coupling means.
[0039] In a further advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention, it can be particularly advantageous if the pivot arm is locked against the room closure element in such a way that the room closure element cannot be transferred into its RWA position without prior unlocking, wherein the locking of the pivot arm against the room closure element preferably takes place simultaneously with the unlocking of the room closure element from the upstand. Locking the pivot arm against the room closure element offers the initial advantage that any further relative movement of the two components to one another can be prevented. However, due to the special movement characteristics required for the gravity-driven transfer of the room closure element into the RWA position, the pivot arm and the room closure element typically cannot be continuously coupled to one another in a rotationally fixed manner.Instead, it is advantageous if both components can rotate relative to each other, at least during the first movement section, so that the room closure element can be lifted off the upstand, which in turn allows a gap to be created between the room closure element and the upstand. The two-part movement sequence of the room closure element during the transition from its closed position to its smoke and heat extraction position is achieved in particular due to the arrangement of an engagement point of the drive on the pivot arm at a distance from the coupling means by which the room closure element and the pivot arm are coupled to one another.
[0040] In this way, the partition element can be raised, particularly during a first movement section, until the pivot arm, which may initially be inclined obliquely relative to a horizontal plane, reaches at least a substantially horizontal orientation and can then be brought together with the partition element, which was meanwhile partially locked to the upstand. At the moment of contact between the pivot arm and the partition element (away from the coupling means), the locking device can then be released, thus releasing the locking of the partition element against the upstand. Preferably, at the same time, the partition element is locked to the pivot arm or coupled to it and "carried along" by the latter during the further movement of the pivot arm.In this second movement phase, the room closure element is finally completely lifted from its sealing seat and, as the pivoting arm continues to pivot, is increasingly tilted toward the horizontal. This allows the room closure element to be permanently and controlledly moved to its intermediate position, from which it can slide down into the smoke and heat extraction position using gravity alone. To do this, simply release the locking element, which releases the movement frame. Examples of implementation
[0041] The room closure device and the method according to the invention are explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment shown in the figures. It shows: Fig. 1: A cross section through a room closure device according to the invention with a room closure element in a closed position, Fig. 2: The cross section according to Figure 1, wherein the room closure element is in a coupling position, Fig. 3: The cross section according to Figure 1 , wherein the room closure element is in an intermediate position, Fig. 4: The cross section according to Figure 1 , whereby swivel arms, which interact with the room closure element, are in a pre-position, Fig. 5: The cross section according to Figure 1 , with the swivel arms in a deflected position, Fig. 6: The cross section according to Figure 1 , where the room closure element is in a RWA position, Fig. 7: The cross section according to Figure 1 , with the swivel arms in a rear position, Fig. 8: The cross section according to Figure 1 , where a surface part of the room closure element is in a normal position and Fig. 9: The cross section according to Figure 1 , with the room closure element in its closed position.
[0042] The embodiment shown in the Figures 1 to 9shown, a room closure device according to the invention comprises 1, which has a curb 2 and a room closure element 3 The curb 2 is formed here by a four-sided body, which has four straight side walls 16 The side walls 16 each define a border 15 of the curb 2. On an upper face, the curb has 2 a circumferential sealing surface which is within a sealing plane 13 The room closure element 3, that in the Figure 1 shown position in its closed position, lies on the curb in such a way 2 In this way, a fluidic connection is created between a room that is sealed by means of the room closure device 1is separated from the surroundings and is interrupted by the surroundings. In particular, the room closure element 3 airtight with the curb 2 away.
[0043] To the room closure element 3 In order to be able to transfer from its closed position towards a RWA position, in particular to enable ventilation of the room, the room closure element acts 3 with a drive 4 The latter is formed by an electric drive unit, by means of which a pressure force can be exerted. The drive 4 works directly with two transmission devices 5 together, by means of which the drive 4 force acting on the room closure element 3 is transferable. The transmission facilities 5 are each supported by a swivel arm 7 formed and thus each in one piece, whereby a respective swivel arm7 forming a common pivot axis 8 on one edge 15 of the curb 2 In the example, this is done by means of mounting brackets that are attached to the curb in a force-transmitting manner 2 The mounting brackets interact with the swivel arms 7 together. The swivel arms 7 are on both sides of the room closure element 3 arranged. One point of attack of the drive 4 on a respective swivel arm 7 is located at a distance from the swivel axis 8, so that the point of attack is under a lever arm 10 relative to the swivel axis 8 In this way, by operating the drive 4 possible, the swivel arms 7 around the swivel axis 8 In principle, it is conceivable to swivel each of the swivel arms 7 with its own drive 4However, it is particularly advantageous to equip the 4 force provided on both swivel arms 7 distributed or only one of the swivel arms 7 directly by means of the drive 4 The other swivel arm 7 In the latter constellation, the room closure element 3 The following description refers only to one of the swivel arms 7, However, the design basically affects both swivel arms 7.
[0044] The swivel arm 7 is with the room closure element 3 by means of a coupling agent 9 directly connected in a force-transmitting manner. This means that a movement of the swivel arm 7 immediately a movement of the room closure element 3 The coupling agent 9is here as a tab 17 designed to be connected to the room closure element 3 forming a rotation axis 19 In the example shown, the swivel arms 7 each straight and each have a longitudinal axis 26 The coupling agents 9 both swivel arms 7 each have a rotation axis 19 to which the room closure element 3 relative to the swivel arm 7 The coupling agents 9 are on both swivel arms 7 positioned similarly so that the axes of rotation 19 both coupling agents 9 The "common axis of rotation" 19 is advantageously parallel to the pivot axis 8 of the room closure element 3 arranged.
[0045] A distance 18, in which the coupling agent 9 on the swivel arm7 In the example shown, this corresponds to approximately 50% of the total length of the swivel arm 7. This positioning means that the room closure element 3 not only due to its weight around the axis of rotation 19 rotates, but in the course of the movement of the swivel arms 7 can at least essentially maintain its rotational position. Since the room closure element 3 In the example shown, however, along an edge 27 with the curb 2 connected, the room closure element 3 in the course of raising the swivel arms 7 into a Figure 2 shown inclined coupling position. When this coupling position is reached, the swivel arm 7 with one on its swivel axis 8 coupling means arranged at the opposite end 21 to a movement frame 11 of the room closure element3 coupled so that the movement frame 11 and the swivel arm 7 at the location of the coupling agent 21 are connected to each other. Until the coupling position is reached, the room closure element 3 around the axis of rotation 19 relative to the swivel arm 7 be twisted.
[0046] When the coupling position is reached, the connection between the edge 27 of the room closure element 3 and the curb 2 In this way, further operation of the drive 4 to a complete lifting of the room closure element 3 from its sealing seat, whereby a rotational position of the room closure element 3 relative to the swivel arms 7 by means of the coupling agent 21is held securely. A rotation of the two components relative to each other is then no longer possible. This prevents uncontrolled movement of the room closure element. 3 around the axes of rotation 19 prevented. By removing the room closure element 3 is then a circulating flow cross-section 6 which allows air exchange between the room and the environment. In other words, the room closure element 3 completely in a plane of density 13 removed position and is therefore completely lifted from its sealing seat. Figure 3 shown intermediate position of the room closure element 3 is suitable, for example, to ventilate the respective room.
[0047] The swivel axis 8 opposite ends of the swivel arms 7 arranged coupling agent 21are each formed by a mechanical locking lock. The coupling means 21 is suitable for use with a complementary coupling means of the movement frame 11 of the room closure element 3 to cooperate in a form-fitting manner and in this way to create a force-transmitting, non-destructively detachable coupling.
[0048] The design of the room closure element 3 with a motion frame 11 is particularly advantageous. The latter is in direct engagement with the swivel arms 7. The coupling agent of the room closure element 3, that with the coupling agent 21 of a respective swivel arm 7 interacts, is on the movement frame 11 This movement framework 11 In the example shown, it is equipped with two telescopic rails, one of which is connected to one of the swivel arms 7The fixation of the movement frame 11 on the swivel arms 7 using two coupling agents 9, 21 serves to provide a torque-transmitting bearing for the room closure element 3 on the swivel arms 7 to allow an uncontrolled twisting of the room closure element 3 relative to the swivel arms 7 The need for this arises from the Figures 4 and 5 . These illustrate the room closure element 3 initially when the swivel arms are present 7 in its pre-position and finally in its deflection position, from which the room closure element 3 into its RWA position. The latter is in Figure 5 The coupling in a torque-transmitting manner is necessary because the room closure element 3 otherwise rotates around its axis of rotation 19relative to the swivel arms 7 on the swivel axis 8 In the example shown, this would mean transferring the room closure element 3 in its RWA position.
[0049] In the said RWA position, the flow cross-section 6 between the environment and the room is released to the maximum, so that emergency ventilation of the room can take place. This "maximum release" of the flow cross-section 6 The point here is that a cross section of the curb 2 in the area of the density level 13 is completely released and thus completely as a flow cross-section 6 Ventilation of the room is therefore just as possible in this state as if the room closure element 3 not available. This type of emergency ventilation is primarily important in the event of a fire.
[0050] To the room closure element 3 into its RWA position, the swivel arms 7 by means of the drive 4 based on the Figure 3 shown intermediate position further around the swivel axis 8 pivoted so that the swivel arms 7 together with the room closure element 3 into an increasingly inclined position. In this inclined position of the swivel arms 7 is the room closure element 3 at an angle to the density plane 13 oriented. The swivel arms 7 are deflected until the specified angle reaches the value of a critical angle 24 This is in Figure 5 illustrated. When this critical angle is reached 24 the swivel arms are 7 in its deflection position, whereby the room closure element 3 is arranged obliquely in such a way that a surface part 12of the same due to its weight alone relative to the swivel arms 7 can move translationally. Such a movement is achieved by means of the motion frame 11 which has the telescopic rails described above.
[0051] For the final transfer of the room closure element 3 in its RWA position a locking device is now 14 of the room closure element 3 dissolved, whereby the surface part 12 from the movement frame 11 is decoupled and can move relative to the latter. As a result, the surface part moves 12 - driven solely by its weight - translational relative to the swivel arms 7, so that it is completely out of an opening area of the curb 2 "is driven out." The flow cross-section 6between the room and the environment is thus completely free, so that air flow, especially from the room in a vertical direction upwards into the environment, can take place without obstruction. The flow cross-section 6 essentially corresponds to an opening cross-section of the curb 2.
[0052] When considering the Figure 6 shown RWA position of the room closure element 3 The purpose of the two coupling agents becomes immediately clear 9, 21 of a respective swivel arm 7. A storage of the room closure element 3 only by means of the first coupling agent 9 would cause a twisting of the room closure element 3 around the axis of rotation 19 because the center of gravity of the room closure element 3 due to the movement of the surface part far in the direction of the swivel axis 8Such a "tilting" of the room closure element 3 around the axis of rotation 19 could lead to the surface part 12 in the course of its "slipping" with that of the swivel axis 8 facing edge 15 of the curb 2 collided. A reliable opening of the room enclosure 1 would thus be prevented.
[0053] The resting means 14 is advantageously connected to the respective swivel arm 7 coupled so that it allows the translational movement between surface part 12 and movement frame 11 automatically released as soon as the swivel arms 7 by such a dimension around the pivot axis 8 are pivoted so that the room closure element 3 under formation of the critical angle 24 relative to the density plane 13 The swivel arms 7are then in their respective deflection position.
[0054] In contrast to the state of the art, the total stroke by which a piston 22 of the drive 4 from the corresponding cylinder 23 must be extended, is particularly small compared to the state of the art, since the room closure element 3 in particular not by 90° or more relative to the sealing plane 13 The smaller swivel angle means that the movement of the room closure element 3 can be significantly shorter overall, which ultimately reduces the total time required for transferring the room closure element 3 from its closed position to its RWA position is significantly shorter than is possible with the current technology. At the same time, the drive 4 can be dimensioned considerably smaller than in the state of the art, which also results in a cost advantage.
[0055] After transferring the room closure element 3 into its RWA position, it may be of interest to move it back to its closed position. In particular, for example, a fire alarm that causes the movement of the room closure element 3 initiated, may have been a false alarm, after which the original state of the room closure device 1 This is often not possible in the current state of the art, as the transfer of the respective room closure element 3 in its RWA position is not non-destructive.
[0056] In the example shown, the return of the room closure element 3 This is particularly easy to do. This is particularly evident in the Figures 7 to 9 . First, the swivel arms 7 by means of the drive 4 around the swivel axis 8 swung back until the longitudinal axes26 the swivel arms 7 at an angle 25 relative to the horizontal density plane 13 are arranged. The swivel arms 7 are then in their reverse position. This results from Figure 7 . The angle 25 between the longitudinal axis 26 and the density level 13 if the swivel arms are present 7 in this back position is related to the density level 13 negative, while the critical angle described above 24 if the swivel arms are present 7 in their deflection position is positive. The inclination of the swivel arms in their return position 7 leads to the fact that the weight of the surface part 12 a horizontal component in the direction of the curb 2 This in turn leads to the area part 12 solely by the effect of gravity via the moving frame 11from its emergency position back to its normal position. The result of this process can be seen particularly well in Figure 8 recognizable.
[0057] By further lowering the swivel arms 7 the room closure element 3 then placed back into its sealing seat in the desired manner so that the room closure element 3 at least rainproof, preferably airtight, against the curb 2 Consequently, the room closure element 3 ultimately returns to its closed position, which is Figure 9 Here, the room closure element 3 initially with its one edge 27 on the curb 2 placed. The edge 27 is then transferred to the curb in a force-transferring manner 2 coupled and at the same time the coupling agent 21 for connecting the swivel arms 7and the movement frame 11 In this way, the swivel arms 7 from now on again relative to the frame of movement 11 around the axis of rotation 9 The room closure element 3 is currently in the Figure 2 The alignment is then adjusted by further retracting the drive 4 ultimately the Figure 9 g shown closing position reached.
