AI Technical Summary
Existing devices for applying fertilizers like manure on agricultural areas face challenges in adapting to varying ground contours, leading to uneven application and potential fertilizer loss or equipment damage, especially with large working widths.
A device with a rear frame holder, support frame, and adjustable side arms with towing hose booms, allowing for rotation around multiple axes to maintain optimal outlet positioning relative to the ground contour, ensuring even fertilizer distribution and preventing equipment damage.
The device ensures consistent fertilizer application across varying ground contours and working widths, reducing losses and equipment damage by maintaining a constant angle and adjusting to different heights, thus optimizing fertilizer distribution and operational efficiency.
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a device for applying a pumpable medium, in particular a fertilizer such as liquid manure, to a strip of agricultural land, and to a distribution arrangement for applying a pumpable medium, in particular a fertilizer such as liquid manure, to a strip of agricultural land. The invention further relates to a method for adjusting a transport position from an operating position for a device for applying a pumpable medium, in particular a fertilizer such as liquid manure, to a strip of agricultural land.
[0002] Such devices are preferably used to spread fertilizers such as liquid manure close to the ground and in strips on a strip of agricultural land. For the near-ground, strip-like application of liquid manure, drag hose booms or trailing shoe booms are used, for example. In this case, a fertilizer is transported from a container such as a tank or barrel – preferably via a precision distributor – into several hoses. These hoses are then applied, for example, directly via hose openings positioned as close to the ground as possible or via special outlets, particularly in the form of trailing shoes.
[0003] From DE 20 2006 008 173 U1 a dosing device for liquid fertilizers is known, comprising a frame, a dosing arm pivotably connected to the frame about a substantially horizontally arranged frame rotation axis between a folded-up transport stand and a folded-down working stand, and a plurality of discharge elements for liquid fertilizer connected to the dosing arm.
[0004] DE 10 2015 103 664 A1 discloses a device for applying liquid fertilizer to agricultural land, comprising a mobile tank and a line system connected to the tank, which directs the liquid fertilizer from the tank to a plurality of outlet openings. The outlet openings are held on a support rod that can be folded from a transport position into a working position. Furthermore, DE 10 2017 009 830 A1 discloses a device for applying mixtures of substances for agricultural soil and / or plant cultivation, comprising a support rod that has at least three interconnected sub-segments, and the two outer sub-segments are connected to the adjacent inner sub-segment via a combination of two movable connections.
[0005] In principle, such known devices can ensure that each of the multiple outlets is positioned close to the ground when applying fertilizer to flat surfaces, thus achieving precise and low-emission application. However, with known devices of this type, the problem arises that, with different and variable ground contours, the position of the individual outlets cannot be optimally adapted to the respective ground contour for uniform and low-emission application of the fertilizer from the outlets. Instead, individual outlets are positioned too far from the ground, thereby causing fertilizer loss and emissions, or the distance is so small that a section of the trailing hose is dragged across the ground, potentially causing damage.
[0006] This problem is further exacerbated with large working widths, i.e., when the spreading device extends transversely to the direction of travel, which defines the width of the strip, as this results in soil with very different contours being covered by the working width. However, large working widths are desirable in order to reduce the number of passes or strips required to complete the application on an agricultural area.
[0007] It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a device for applying a pumpable medium, in particular a fertilizer such as liquid manure, to a strip of agricultural land, which device enables optimal adaptation of the outlets to the respective soil contour under different conditions, in particular with different and changing soil contours, and with different working heights, for uniform application of the fertilizer from the outlets, even with large working widths.
[0008] According to the invention, this object is achieved by a device having the features of claim 1. The device according to the invention for spreading a pumpable medium, in particular a fertilizer such as liquid manure, onto a strip of agricultural land, comprising a rear frame holder with a rear frame holder interface for attachment to a rear frame of a container, in particular to a liquid manure tank; a support frame which is mounted on the rear frame holder for rotation about a first axis of rotation extending in a transverse direction; a first boom which, in an operating position, extends in the transverse direction and is connected to the support frame and is mounted on the support frame for rotation about a second axis of rotation;a first side arm attached to the first boom, which extends in a side arm longitudinal direction and on which a plurality of drag hose booms are arranged along the first side arm, which are spaced from one another in the side arm longitudinal direction and each have an outlet opening at their ends;wherein the first side arm is adjustable between the operating position, in which the first side arm extends in the transverse direction and the drag hose booms extend downwards from the first side arm, and a transport position, in which the first side arm extends in a longitudinal direction transverse to the transverse direction and the drag hose booms extend upwards from the first side arm, wherein the first and second axes of rotation extend in such a way that the adjustment between the operating position and the transport position takes place by a rotation of the support frame about the first axis of rotation with a first angular amount and by a rotation of the first boom about the second axis of rotation with a second angular amount, is characterized in that the second axis of rotation is arranged horizontally in the operating position.;
[0009] In the operating position, the side arm longitudinal direction preferably extends in the transverse direction. The device is preferably moved along a strip of agricultural land, in particular in the longitudinal direction, for applying a pumpable medium, such that the applied strip extends in the longitudinal direction and the side arm longitudinal direction lies transversely thereto in the transverse direction. The rear frame holder is preferably designed to be connected to a rear frame interface for attachment to a rear frame or to multiple connection points of a container. Preferably, the position of the rear frame holder relative to a rear frame or other connection points of a container is variable. The first axis of rotation runs in a transverse direction, wherein the transverse direction runs transversely to the longitudinal direction, wherein the angle between the transverse direction and the longitudinal direction is preferably 80°-100° and particularly preferably approximately 90° + / - 5°.The first boom is preferably understood to be a boom arm that is connected to the support frame and mounted on the support frame so as to be rotatable about a second axis of rotation. The first side arm can be connected directly or indirectly to the first boom. Drip hose booms are understood to mean, for example, drag shoe booms with drag shoes or drip hose booms with drag hoses. The outlet openings of the drip hose booms can be designed, for example, as drag shoes or as hose ends or in another form. The drip hose booms are spaced from the adjacent drip hose booms by preferably 125 mm - 350 mm and in particular approximately 250 mm. The drip hose booms can be arranged in the longitudinal direction of the boom and / or in the longitudinal direction of the first side arm. In the operating position, a pumpable medium, in particular a fertilizer such as liquid manure, can be applied. In the operating position, the first side arm is arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction or in the transverse direction. In the operating position, the dribble hose booms are preferably arranged below the first side arm. In the transport position, the first side arm is arranged in the longitudinal direction. The dribble hose booms extend upwards so that no liquid escapes from the outlet openings in the transport position. Adjustment between the transport position and the operating position takes place by means of a rotation of the support frame about the first axis of rotation at a first angular amount and a rotation of the first boom about a second axis of rotation at a second angular amount. In the operating position, the second axis of rotation runs in a horizontal direction, preferably in the longitudinal direction. In the transport position, the second axis of rotation preferably runs in a vertical direction.
[0010] A first advantage achieved by the horizontal arrangement of the second rotation axis in the operating position is that the angle between the first side arm and the ground, or the angle between the dribble bar booms and the ground, can be set to a constant level, regardless of the position of the first boom and regardless of the ground contour. In particular, when using trailing shoes, the angle of these trailing shoes to the ground remains constant, so that ideal application is achieved regardless of the position of the first boom and regardless of the ground contour. A further advantage is that, regardless of the height at which the device is mounted on a container, a constant angular position of the dribble bar booms or the first side arm is always possible.Furthermore, the device according to the invention has the advantage that a rotation of the first boom about the second rotation axis can be used both for adjustment between the operating position and the transport position, as well as for height adjustment of the first side arm, for example for adapting the outlet openings to the ground contour.
[0011] By pivoting the support frame about the first axis of rotation, the second axis of rotation arranged on the support frame is also pivoted, preferably by the same angular amount as the pivoting of the support frame. Both in the operating position and in the transport position, the first axis of rotation preferably lies in a plane that runs parallel to or at an angle of less than 10° to a plane in which the second axis of rotation lies. Both in the operating position and in the transport position, the first axis of rotation preferably lies perpendicular to the second axis of rotation or at an angle of 80°-100°.
[0012] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the device comprises a boom actuator having a first and a second end, the first end being connected to the support frame and mounted for rotation about a first boom actuator rotation axis, and the second end being connected to the first boom and mounted for rotation about a second boom actuator rotation axis. The boom actuator is arranged to cause rotation of the first boom about the second rotation axis by extending and extending the boom actuator, and thus to adjust the first side arm in the vertical direction in the operating position, and to pivot the first boom between the transport position and the operating position by extending or retracting the boom actuator by the second angular amount about the second rotation axis, the second angular amount preferably being 80° to 120°, particularly preferably 93° - 103° and in particular approximately 98°.
[0013] The boom actuator is preferably designed as a linear cylinder, in particular as a hydraulic cylinder. Two or more boom actuators can also be arranged next to one another. The first end of the boom actuator can be connected to the support frame, for example, by means of a joint. The second end of the boom actuator can be connected to the first boom, for example, by means of a joint. The arrangement of the boom actuator offers the advantage that the boom actuator fulfills a dual function in that extending and retracting the boom actuator can cause vertical adjustment of the first side arm and adjustment between the transport and operating positions.
[0014] According to a further preferred embodiment, the device comprises a support frame actuator having a first and a second end, the first end being connected to the rear frame holder and mounted to rotate about a first support frame actuator rotation axis, and the second end being connected to the support frame and mounted to rotate about a second support frame actuator rotation axis, the support frame actuator being arranged to cause rotation of the support frame about the first rotation axis by extending and retracting the support frame actuator, and thus to pivot the support frame between the transport position and the operating position by extending and retracting the support frame actuator by the first angular amount about the first rotation axis, the first angular amount preferably being 80° to 120°, particularly preferably 85° - 95°, and in particular approximately 90°.
[0015] Preferably, the support frame is pivoted by approximately 90°, so that the second rotation axis is arranged horizontally in the operating position and vertically in the transport position. The support frame actuator is preferably designed as a linear cylinder, in particular a hydraulic cylinder. Two or more support frame actuators can also be arranged side by side.
[0016] According to the invention, the device comprises a side arm actuator having a first and a second end, the first end being connected to the first boom and being mounted for rotation about a first side arm actuator rotation axis, and the second end being connected to the first side arm and being mounted for rotation about a second side arm actuator rotation axis, the side arm actuator being arranged to cause rotation of the side arm about a third rotation axis extending parallel to the first side arm by retracting and extending the side arm actuator, and thus to pivot the first side arm between the transport position and the operating position by retracting and extending the side arm actuator about the third rotation axis by a third angular amount, the third angular amount being preferably 45° - 90°, particularly preferably 60° - 75° and in particular 65° - 70°.
[0017] In the operating position, the third rotation axis preferably runs transversely. The side arm actuator is preferably designed as a linear cylinder, in particular as a hydraulic cylinder. When the first side arm rotates 65° around the third rotation axis, the dribble bar booms are preferably arranged vertically in the transport position, i.e., they are positioned such that no residual liquid can escape from the dribble bar booms due to gravity. When the first side arm rotates 70° around the third rotation axis, the dribble bar booms are preferably inclined approximately 5° toward the container in the transport position.
[0018] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the first side arm is mounted on the boom so as to be rotatable about a pendulum rotation axis which runs parallel to the second rotation axis.
[0019] In the operating position, the pendulum rotation axis preferably runs in the longitudinal direction. The first side arm is therefore preferably attached to the first boom by means of a pendulum suspension. Preferably, a wheel is attached to the first side arm or several, in particular two, wheels are attached to the first side arm, which are at the same distance from the pendulum rotation axis. The wheel or wheels serve to support part of the weight of the boom on the ground and to ensure that the boom remains as constant as possible from the ground in operating mode. The wheel or wheels are preferably arranged to adjust the distance between the first side arm and the ground and / or, when using a trailing shoe linkage, to exert a contact force from the skids of the trailing shoes on the ground.
[0020] According to a further preferred embodiment, the device is characterized by a pendulum frame which pivotally connects the first side arm to the first boom, in particular is connected to the first side arm at least in two positions and to the first boom by means of a rotatable connection, or vice versa.
[0021] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the first end of the side arm actuator is connected to the first boom by the first end of the side arm actuator being rotatably coupled to the pendulum frame about the first side arm actuator rotation axis and the pendulum frame being rotatably coupled to the first side arm or the first boom about the pendulum rotation axis.
[0022] Preferably, the pendulum frame is coupled to the first side arm so that it can rotate about the pendulum rotation axis. Alternatively, however, the pendulum frame can also be coupled to the first boom so that it can rotate about the pendulum rotation axis.
[0023] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the device comprises a pendulum frame actuator which has a first and a second end, wherein the first end is connected to the first boom and is mounted so as to be rotatable about a first pendulum frame actuator rotation axis and the second end is connected to the pendulum frame and is mounted so as to be rotatable about a second pendulum frame actuator rotation axis, wherein the pendulum frame actuator is arranged to cause a rotation of the pendulum frame, and preferably of the first side arm, about the pendulum rotation axis by extending and retracting the pendulum frame actuator.
[0024] The pendulum frame actuator is preferably designed as a linear cylinder, in particular as a hydraulic cylinder. By extending and retracting the pendulum frame actuator, the pendulum frame and thus the first side arm can be moved around the pendulum rotation axis relative to the first boom.
[0025] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the device comprises a control device which is signal-connected to the boom actuator and the support frame actuator and preferably to the side arm actuator and preferably to the pendulum frame actuator and is designed to control a retraction and extension of the boom actuator and the support frame actuator and preferably to the side arm actuator and preferably to the pendulum frame actuator independently of one another.
[0026] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the control device is designed to control the boom actuator in a float control circuit such that a weight force of the boom and the side arm mounted thereon and the components mounted thereon to exert a weight force is compensated, and the control device is preferably designed to control the pendulum frame actuator in a float control circuit such that a weight force of the side arm and the components mounted thereon to exert a weight force is compensated.
[0027] The weight of the boom and the side arm mounted thereon, as well as the components mounted thereon that exert weight, is compensated for by resulting in an approximately adjustable contact force for the outlet openings, preferably for the trailing shoes. To enable the first side arm to oscillate during operation, the oscillating frame actuator can be controlled via a floating control circuit. Contact or non-contact sensors for sensing the ground contour are preferably signal-connected to the control device, with the sensors detecting the ground contour, thereby enabling adjustment of the first side arm and / or the first boom and / or the oscillating frame.
[0028] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the center of gravity of the first side arm and / or the center of gravity of the first side arm with the components mounted thereon exerting weight force is located below the pendulum rotation axis in the operating position.
[0029] The components mounted on the side arm to exert their weight preferably include the distribution device, the drag hose booms, and the lines. The arrangement of the center of gravity of the first side arm with the components mounted thereto to exert their weight in the operating position prevents instability during swinging and ensures that the first side arm automatically moves into a stable position during swinging.
[0030] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the second axis of rotation runs in a vertical direction in the transport position.
[0031] Preferably, the second rotation axis is arranged vertically in the transport position. This arrangement allows rotation about the second rotation axis for adjustment between the transport position and the operating position with very little effort.
[0032] According to a further preferred embodiment, the device comprises a second boom actuator having a first and a second end, wherein the first end is connected to the support frame and is rotatably mounted about an axis arranged parallel to the first boom actuator rotation axis, and the second end is connected to the first boom and is rotatably mounted about an axis arranged parallel to the second boom actuator rotation axis, wherein the second boom actuator is arranged to cause rotation of the first boom about the second rotation axis by extending and retracting the boom actuator.
[0033] The second boom actuator is preferably designed as a linear cylinder, in particular as a hydraulic cylinder. According to this embodiment, two boom actuators are arranged side by side.
[0034] According to a further preferred embodiment, the device comprises a first distributor device having an inlet opening and a plurality of outlet openings, which is connected to the first side arm and is preferably arranged centrally on the first side arm in the direction along the first side arm; a supply line having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is designed to be connected to a supply opening and the second end is connected to the inlet opening of the distributor device; wherein the supply line is fastened to the first arm along the first arm and / or is enclosed by the first arm and / or is formed by the first arm designed as a hollow profile.
[0035] The first distribution device is preferably designed as a precision distributor. By means of the first distribution device, a medium to be discharged can be evenly distributed among the lines, allowing uniform discharge via the outlet openings. Multiple distribution devices, in particular two distribution devices, can also be connected to the first side arm.
[0036] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the device comprises a plurality of lines, preferably designed as flexible pipes, wherein the lines each have a first end and a second end, wherein the first ends are connected to the outlet openings of the distribution device and the second ends are connected to the trailing hose booms.
[0037] The lines can be designed as flexible or non-flexible pipes. The lines are preferably approximately the same length. This ensures consistent and synchronous discharge from the outlet openings, even when starting and stopping the application. The outlet openings are preferably designed as trailing shoes or simple hose ends.
[0038] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the first boom comprises a plurality of boom arm sections which are arranged telescopically and are displaceable relative to one another, so that the length of the first boom can be changed.
[0039] The telescopic arrangement can be achieved, for example, by means of a telescopic rail guide. A telescopic arrangement means that the boom arm sections can be moved into one another and / or in planes arranged parallel to one another. Preferably, the length of the first boom can be varied by means of an actuator, preferably designed as a linear cylinder, in particular a hydraulic cylinder.
[0040] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the device comprises a first end segment which is connected to the first side arm and mounted on the first side arm so as to be rotatable about a first end segment rotation axis, and preferably a second end segment which is connected to the first end segment and mounted on the first end segment so as to be rotatable about a second end segment rotation axis, and preferably a third end segment which is connected to the first side arm and mounted on the first side arm so as to be rotatable about a third end segment rotation axis.
[0041] The adjustment of the first end segment and / or the second end segment and / or the third end segment is preferably carried out by an actuator, which is preferably designed as a linear cylinder, in particular as a hydraulic cylinder. Alternatively, the adjustment of the first end segment and / or the second end segment and / or the third end segment can preferably be performed manually. The end segments located on the outside in the operating position can be equipped with collision protection. The device can preferably comprise additional end segments.
[0042] According to a further preferred embodiment, the device comprises an end segment actuator having a first and a second end, wherein the first end is connected to the first side arm and is mounted for rotation about a first end segment actuator rotation axis, and the second end is connected to the first end segment and / or the second end segment and is mounted for rotation about a second end segment actuator rotation axis, wherein the end segment actuator is arranged to cause rotation of the first end segment and / or the second end segment about a fourth end segment rotation axis by extending and retracting the end segment actuator. The fourth end segment rotation axis is preferably arranged parallel to the third rotation axis.
[0043] This allows the folded end segments to be swung away from the ground so that they do not come into contact with the drag hose booms and / or the ground in the operating position.
[0044] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the device comprises a sensor which is attached to the first side arm or to a trailing hose boom for scanning the ground contour, wherein the sensor is designed to send the received data to the control device and the control device is designed to control the boom actuator such that the first side arm is guided at a constant distance from the ground contour.
[0045] The control device is preferably designed to control the side arm actuator and / or the pendulum frame actuator. The constant distance from the ground contour is preferably a minimum distance between outlet openings and the ground and / or an average distance over the length of the side arm between the outlet openings and the ground. The device can also comprise a plurality of sensors which are attached to the first side arm or to one or more trailing hose booms for scanning the ground contour, wherein the sensors are designed to send the sensor data to the control device and the control device is designed to control the boom actuator depending on this sensor data, in particular such that the first side arm is guided at a constant distance from the ground contour.
[0046] According to a further preferred embodiment, the device comprises: a second boom connected to the support frame and mounted on the support frame for rotation about a fourth axis of rotation arranged parallel to the second axis of rotation; a second side arm attached to the second boom, on which a plurality of drag hose booms are arranged along the second side arm, which are spaced from one another in a longitudinal direction of the boom and each have an outlet opening at their ends;wherein the second side arm is adjustable between the operating position, in which the second side arm extends in the transverse direction and the drag hose booms extend downwards from the second side arm, and the transport position, in which the second side arm extends in the longitudinal direction and the drag hose booms extend upwards from the second side arm, wherein the fourth axis of rotation extends such that the adjustment between the operating position and the transport position takes place by rotating the second boom about the fourth axis of rotation with the second angular amount, wherein the fourth axis of rotation is arranged horizontally in the operating position;
[0047] According to this embodiment, two booms and two side arms, etc., are provided, which are preferably arranged symmetrically with respect to the support frame. Preferably, all actuators are independently controllable. This ensures that the two booms, the two side arms, and all other controllable components present on both sides can be controlled independently of each other, thus achieving independent adaptation to the ground contour on each side in the operating position. The fourth axis of rotation runs horizontally in the operating position, analogous to the second axis of rotation. Preferably, the fourth axis of rotation runs vertically in the transport position.
[0048] According to a further aspect of the present invention, the object mentioned at the outset is achieved by a distribution arrangement for applying a pumpable medium, in particular a fertilizer such as liquid manure, to a strip of agricultural land, comprising a vehicle, in particular a self-propelled vehicle with a container or a towing vehicle with a trailer connected to the towing vehicle and having a container; a rear frame mounted on the container; and a device mounted on the rear frame.
[0049] According to a further aspect of the present invention, the object mentioned at the outset is achieved by a method for setting a transport position starting from an operating position for a device according to one of claims 1-20 for spreading a pumpable medium, in particular a fertilizer such as liquid manure, onto a strip of agricultural land, wherein the strip extends in a longitudinal direction, the device comprising: a rear frame holder with a rear frame holder interface for attachment to a rear frame of a container, in particular to a liquid manure tank; a support frame which is mounted on the rear frame holder for rotation about a first axis of rotation extending in a transverse direction transverse to the longitudinal axis; a first boom which is connected to the support frame and mounted on the support frame for rotation about a second axis of rotation;a first side arm attached to the first boom, on which a plurality of drag hose booms are arranged along the first side arm, which are spaced from one another in a longitudinal direction of the boom and each have an outlet opening at their ends; comprising the steps: ; a) Rotating the support frame about the first rotation axis at an angle of preferably 80° to 120°, particularly preferably 85° to 95°, and in particular approximately 90°; b) Rotating the first boom about the second rotation axis at an angle of preferably 80° to 120°, particularly preferably 93° to 103°, and in particular approximately 98°; where step a) occurs before step b).
[0050] By rotating the first support frame according to step a), the support frame with the first boom connected thereto is folded up, preferably such that the second axis of rotation is adjusted from a horizontal to a vertical position. Subsequently, according to step b), the first boom is folded onto the container. In the transport position, the first boom is preferably fixed by means of a catch device mounted on the container such that the first boom cannot be pivoted away from the container, preferably by blocking the rotational movement of the first boom about the second axis of rotation and / or by holding the first boom in the vertical direction by the catch device.
[0051] According to a preferred embodiment, the method, wherein the first side arm is mounted on the first boom so as to be rotatable about a third rotation axis, comprises the step: c) rotating the first side arm about the third rotation axis at an angular amount of preferably 45° - 90°, particularly preferably 60° - 75° and in particular 65° - 70°; wherein step c) preferably takes place after step a) and before step b).
[0052] Such a rotation of the first side arm about the third axis of rotation pivots the first side arm and the components connected to it toward the container. Preferably, after rotation about the third axis of rotation, the drag hose booms are oriented upwards at an angle of 65° in the vertical direction and / or, after rotation about the third axis of rotation, are inclined toward the container at an angle of 70°, for example, at an inclination of approximately 5° to the vertical direction. Step c) preferably occurs between step a) and step b). Alternatively, step c) can occur after step b).
[0053] According to a preferred embodiment, the method comprises the step: d) rotating the first boom about the second rotation axis, which is arranged horizontally, at an angle of preferably 1° to 30°, particularly preferably 5° to 20°, and in particular approximately 10°; wherein step d) occurs before step a).
[0054] In step d), the drag hose booms are first raised from the ground by rotating the first boom around the second rotation axis, allowing steps a) and b), and preferably step c), to be carried out without impact from the ground or plants or objects on the ground. This results in a first preferred folding sequence d) - a) - c) - b).
[0055] As an alternative to this folding sequence, starting from the operating position, the side arm can also be folded in a first step around an approximately horizontal and transverse axis relative to the boom, so that the trailing shoes are pivoted and raised. In this way, a headland position is achieved by means of a quickly executable folding process, in which a vehicle or trailer to which the trailing shoe rod assembly according to the invention is mounted can be maneuvered and turned without any liquid escaping from the trailing shoes and without the trailing shoes still being in contact with the ground. If necessary, in order to bring the trailing shoes into a drip-proof position, the support frame can be folded up by a few degrees, for example ten degrees, around the first, horizontal axis.
[0056] Subsequently, the support frame can then be folded about the first, horizontally running axis relative to the rear frame holder, so that the support frame together with the first boom and the side arm attached to it is folded and the second axis of rotation between the support frame and boom is folded from an approximately horizontal direction into an approximately vertical direction.
[0057] Finally, in this alternative folding sequence, the boom, together with the attached side arm, is folded around the now vertically running second axis in order to bring the drag shoe rod into the transport position adjacent to the container, or with the side arm and the boom extended in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
[0058] If necessary, the boom can also be folded to improve maneuverability in tight spaces. Often, folding only the outer side arm is sufficient to prevent the side arm from swinging outwards during a turn, which could result in a collision, provided the resulting shift in the center of gravity allows this without risking the vehicle tipping. However, for more complex maneuvering procedures or to fully maintain tipping stability, the booms can also be folded on both sides.
[0059] Even with this previously described alternative folding method, it is advantageous to fold the boom upwards around the second rotation axis, which runs approximately horizontally in the operating position, in a preparatory step prior to the first step, into a position in which the boom lies approximately horizontally. This raises the side arm with its attached trailing shoes, thereby lifting the trailing shoes off the ground. This is advantageous to prevent unwanted contact between the trailing shoes and the ground or obstacles on the ground during subsequent pivoting of the side arm.
[0060] This results in a preferred alternative folding sequence d) - c) - a) - b).
[0061] Basically, unfolding is done in the reverse order, so in the first procedure with folding analogous to b): unfold the boom around a roughly vertical axis - c): fold the side arm down around a roughly horizontal axis - a): fold the support frame down around a roughly horizontal axis - d) fold the boom with side arm down around a roughly horizontal axis and thereby lower the trailing shoe ends to the ground. In the preferred alternative procedure with folding analogous to b): fold the boom around a roughly vertical axis - a): fold the support frame down around a roughly horizontal axis - c) fold the side arm down around a roughly horizontal axis - d) fold the boom with side arm down around a roughly horizontal axis and thereby lower the trailing shoe ends to the ground. The first folding sequence is particularly suitable for trailing shoe booms with a smaller spreading width, the alternative second folding sequence ensures a mechanically gentle lowering of the trailing shoes to the ground for trailing shoe booms with a large spreading width, avoiding unwanted contact of the trailing shoe ends with the ground during the folding processes b), a) and c).

[0063] Figure 1ashows a perspective view of the device, wherein the device can be attached to a rear frame 91 of a barrel wagon 90. Such a barrel wagon 90 can, for example, be filled with a fertilizer such as liquid manure. A rear frame holder 11 is attached to the rear frame 91 of the barrel wagon 90 via a rear frame holder interface. A support frame 10 is attached to the rear frame holder 11, wherein the support frame 10 is rotatably mounted on the rear frame holder 11 such that the support frame 10 can be rotated about a first axis of rotation 100. Rotation of the support frame 10 about the first axis of rotation 100 is effected by extending and retracting the first support frame actuator 71 and the second support frame actuator 72. In the embodiment shown, the first and second support frame actuators 71, 72 are each designed as hydraulic cylinders. The first and second support frame actuators 71, 72 are each connected at a first end to the rear frame holder 11 and are rotatably mounted about a first support frame actuator rotation axis 700b, and at a second end to the support frame 10 and are rotatably mounted about a second support frame actuator rotation axis 700a. By extending and retracting the support frame actuators 71, 72, a rotation of the support frame 10 about the first axis of rotation 100 is effected, whereby the support frame 10 can be pivoted between a transport position and an operating position by extending and retracting the support frame actuators 71, 72 about the first axis of rotation 100. In this case, a rotation of the support frame 10 about the first axis of rotation 100 by approximately 90° is preferably carried out between the transport position and the operating position. In the embodiment shown in . Figure 1aIn the operating position shown, the first rotation axis 100 is arranged in the transverse direction B and thus transverse to the longitudinal direction A or the direction of travel.
[0064] A first boom 20 is connected to the support frame 10 and mounted on the support frame 10 for rotation about a second rotation axis 200. Rotation of the first boom 20 about the second rotation axis 200 is effected by retracting and extending the first boom actuator 61 and the second boom actuator 62. In the embodiment shown, the first and second boom actuators 61, 62 are each designed as hydraulic cylinders. The first and second boom actuators 61, 62 are each connected at a first end to the support frame 10 and mounted for rotation about a first boom actuator rotation axis 600b, and at a second end to the first boom 20 and mounted for rotation about a second boom actuator rotation axis 600a. By extending and retracting the boom actuators 61, 62, rotation of the first boom 20 about the second rotation axis 200 is effected. Thus, the first boom 20 can, on the one hand, adjust the height of the first side arm and all components located thereon, and, on the other hand, the first boom 20 can be pivoted about the second rotation axis 200 between a transport position and an operating position by retracting or extending the boom actuators 61, 62. Preferably, the first boom 20 rotates about the second rotation axis 200 by approximately 98° between the transport position and the operating position. Figure 1a In the operating position shown, the second rotation axis 200 is arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction A or the direction of travel and perpendicular to the first rotation axis 100.
[0065] A pendulum frame 50 is connected to the first boom 20 and is mounted on the first boom 20 for rotation about a pendulum rotation axis 500. The pendulum rotation axis 500 runs parallel to the second rotation axis 200. A first side arm 25 is attached to two positions on the pendulum frame 50. A first distribution device 22 is attached to the first side arm. The first distribution device 22 is arranged centrally on the first side arm with respect to the longitudinal extent of the first side arm. The first distribution device 22 has an inlet opening which is connected to a supply line 21. The supply line 21 runs through the first boom 20 and is connected to a liquid connection to the barrel wagon 90, so that fertilizer can be conveyed from the barrel wagon 90 through the supply line 21 into the first distribution device 22.The distribution device 22 has several outlet openings, to each of which flexible pipes (not fully shown) are connected. The flexible pipes are attached at several positions on the first side arm 25. Parallel leaf springs 32 are attached to the first side arm, to which the flexible pipes are also attached. Trailing shoes 24 are connected to the leaf springs at the lower end of the leaf springs. The flexible pipes are connected to the trailing shoes 24. This allows the fertilizer to be transported from the outlet openings of the distribution device 22 through the flexible pipes to the trailing shoes 24 and applied from the trailing shoes 24 close to the ground. The trailing shoes 24 have a special outlet and robust skids so that they can divide the crop and dig a slight groove into the ground as they travel.
[0066] The first side arm 25 is mounted on the first pendulum frame 50 for rotation about a third axis of rotation 300. Rotation of the first side arm 25 about the third axis of rotation 300 is effected by extending and retracting the first side arm actuator 81 and the second side arm actuator 82. In the embodiment shown, the first and second side arm actuators 81, 82 are each designed as hydraulic cylinders. The first and second side arm actuators 81, 82 are each connected at a first end to the first pendulum frame 50 and are mounted for rotation about a first side arm actuator rotation axis 800b, and at a second end to the first side arm 25 and are mounted for rotation about a second side arm actuator rotation axis 800a. Retracting and extending the side arm actuators 81, 82 causes the first side arm 25 to rotate about the third axis of rotation 300. This allows the first side arm 25 to be moved in or out.Extending the side arm actuators 81, 82 can be pivoted about the third rotation axis 300. Between the transport position and the operating position, the first side arm 25 is preferably rotated about the third rotation axis 300 by approximately 65°. In the position shown in . Figure 1a In the operating position shown, the third rotation axis 300 is arranged parallel to the transverse direction B or transverse to the direction of travel and parallel to the first rotation axis 100.
[0067] The device shown is shown with two booms arranged symmetrically with respect to the support frame 10. The components described above are arranged symmetrically to these on the other side of the support frame 10. A second boom 20c is shown, which can be moved analogously to the first boom. The first boom 20 and the second boom 20c can be controlled independently of one another. The second boom 20c is connected to the support frame 10 and mounted on the support frame 10 for rotation about a fourth rotation axis 400. A second supply line 21c, which is connected to a second distribution device 22c, runs through the second boom 20c. Several flexible pipes (not shown) are connected to the second distribution device 22c, which are attached to a second side arm 25c along the latter and are each attached at their ends to trailing shoes 24c.The components and movement possibilities of these components are designed analogously to the components described in detail on the other side of the support frame 10. The movements of the first and second side arms 25, 25c, the first and second peddle frames 50, 50c, and the first and second booms 20, 20c can be performed simultaneously and symmetrically or independently of one another.
[0068] Figure 1b shows an embodiment of the device in which two wheels 26a, 26b are attached to the first side arm. These wheels are at the same distance from the pendulum rotation axis and support the side arm on the ground in addition to the trailing shoes. Such wheels allow adjustment of the distance between the first side arm and the ground. Two wheels 26c, 26d are also attached to the second side arm 25c.
[0069] In the Figures 2a, 2b , 3a and 3b Detailed views of the device are shown.
[0070] In Figure 2a The first boom 20 is shown, which is rotatably connected to the pendulum frame 50 via a joint in the region of the pendulum rotation axis 500. The supply line 21 runs through the first boom 20. The supply line 21 has a swivel joint that enables rotation of the supply line 21 in this region about the third rotation axis 300. The flexible pipes 23 are indicated in this view, starting from the first distribution device 22.
[0071] In Figure 2bA pendulum frame actuator 51 is shown, which has a first and a second end, wherein the first end is connected to the first boom and is rotatably mounted about a first pendulum frame actuator rotation axis 900b and the second end is connected to the pendulum frame and is rotatably mounted about a second pendulum frame actuator rotation axis 900a, wherein the pendulum frame actuator 51 is arranged to cause a rotation of the pendulum frame 50 about the pendulum rotation axis by extending and retracting the pendulum frame actuator 51. The pendulum frame actuator 51 is designed as a hydraulic cylinder. By extending and retracting the pendulum frame actuator, in particular the first side arm 25 can be moved about the pendulum rotation axis relative to the first boom.
[0072] In Figure 3aTwo outer sub-segments or end segments 28, 29 of the first side arm are shown in the unfolded position. By unfolding these sub-segments 28, 29, the maximum working width of the device can be achieved. The first end segment 29 is connected to the first side arm 25 and is mounted on the first side arm for rotation about a first end segment rotation axis 290. The second end segment 28 is connected to the first end segment 29 and is mounted on the first end segment 29 for rotation about a second end segment rotation axis 280.
[0073] Further in Figure 3aan end segment actuator 89 is shown which has a first and a second end, wherein the first end is connected to the first side arm and is mounted for rotation about a first end segment actuator rotation axis and the second end is connected to the second end segment 29 and is mounted for rotation about a second end segment actuator rotation axis, wherein the end segment actuator 89 is arranged to cause rotation of the first end segment 29 in the folded state and of the second end segment 28 in the folded state about a fourth end segment rotation axis 250 by extending and retracting the end segment actuator 89, wherein the fourth end segment rotation axis 250 is arranged parallel to the third rotation axis 300.
[0074] In Figure 3bA detailed view of the support frame is shown. This shows a third end segment 27, which is connected to the first side arm 25 and mounted on the first side arm 25 so that it can rotate about a third end segment rotation axis 270. This allows the third end segment 27 to be adjusted by 90° relative to the first side arm 25 in the transport position, so that the third end segment does not protrude and is arranged as close as possible to the container. Such pivoting of the third end segment 27 is effected by an actuator, preferably in the form of a hydraulic cylinder.
[0075] In Figure 4Two possible movements of the first side arm 25 are shown. The first side arm 25 can be adjusted in the vertical direction V by rotating the first boom 20 about the second rotation axis 200, which is brought about by extending and retracting the first boom actuator. In addition, the first side arm can be moved about the pendulum rotation axis 500 by the pendulum suspension with the pendulum frame 50. The pendulum rotation axis 500 is located above the center of gravity of the first side arm. This enables stable oscillation R5 of the first side arm 25. The position of the first side arm 25 about the pendulum rotation axis 500 can thus always adapt to the current soil contour. This enables uniform application of the fertilizer close to the ground across the entire width of the first side arm.Furthermore, the flexible pipes 23 through which the fertilizer can be conveyed from the distribution device 22 to the trailing shoes 24 are indicated in this view. The movements V and R5 of the first side arm 25 do not affect the angle of the trailing shoes 24 to the ground, so that the outlet opening of the trailing shoes is guided as parallel to the ground as possible.
[0076] Various ground adjustments of the first side arm 25 and the first boom 20 are shown in the Figures 5a and 5b In the case of an outwardly rising floor contour, as in Fig. 5a As shown, the first boom 20 with the first side arm 25 is moved upwards in the vertical direction V. In addition, a pendulum movement R5 takes place. In the case of an outwardly sloping ground contour, as in Fig. 5bAs shown, the first boom 20 with the first side arm 25 is moved downwards in the vertical direction V. In addition, a pendulum movement R5 takes place. If required, the boom actuators 61, 62 designed as hydraulic cylinders can be switched to a floating position, so that the device automatically adapts to the ground contour without the need for further control. The pendulum frame actuator 51 can also be switched to a floating position. With such a floating position, optimal ground adaptation can be achieved - even with changing ground contours. In addition, in the floating position, wheels connected to the side arm, which are in contact with the ground in the operating position, are relieved of load, provided that wheels are present (as e.g. in the Figure 1b shown embodiment). If there are no wheels (as in the example shown in Figure 1ashown embodiment), the first boom 20 and the first side arm 25 can be mounted in a floating manner without support by the wheels.
[0077] In Figure 5c a lifting of the trailing shoes from the ground is shown by moving the first boom 20 with the first side arm 25 upwards in the vertical direction V.
[0078] In the Figure 6a It is shown that two outer segments 28, 29 of the first side arm are unfolded. By unfolding these segments 28, 29, the maximum working width of the device can be achieved. Figure 6b a state is shown in which the outer sub-segment 28 is folded in, for a reduced working width. Figure 6cshows a state in which the further sub-segment 29 is also folded in, so that the working width is further reduced. This allows the working width to be adjusted to the current requirements. By folding in the sub-segment 29, the connected sub-segment 28 is moved along with it, so that by folding in the sub-segment 29, both sub-segments 28, 29 can be folded in. Starting from the full working width with the sub-segments 28, 29 unfolded, these sub-segments are moved away from the ground with a rotational movement, so that the trailing shoes are in the folded position (see Figure 6b and Figure 6c ) are rotated by 180°, lifted from the ground and arranged behind the trailing shoes on the ground in relation to the longitudinal direction A.
[0079] The adjustment from the operating position to the transport position, i.e. the folding, is carried out using the Figures 7a, 7b, 7c , 8a and 8b , in this order of figures.
[0080] It should be understood that the folding sequence described below is carried out in reverse order from the operating position in order to move the trailing shoe rod from the transport position to the operating position, i.e. to fold it out.
[0081] At the beginning of the folding process, the boom can be pivoted upwards by a slight extension movement of the boom actuator 61 around the second rotation axis, which is horizontal, and thereby the side arm can be slightly raised in order to lift the drag shoes from the ground. This will, for example, Fig. 5c shown position is reached.
[0082] In Figure 7aThe device is shown in a side view in the operating position. The second rotation axis is arranged horizontally. By rotating the support frame 10 about the first rotation axis 100 by approximately 90°, the support frame 10 moves in the direction R1 shown. This rotational movement is effected by extending the support frame actuators 71, 72. By such a rotational movement, the Fig. 7b shown position is reached. The second rotation axis is then arranged vertically.
[0083] By rotating the first side arm 25 around the third rotation axis 300 by approximately 65°, the first side arm 25 moves in the direction R3 shown. This rotational movement is effected by retracting the side arm actuators 81, 82. After such a rotational movement, the openings of the drag shoes point upward. For example, a rotation of the first side arm 25 around the third rotation axis 300 by approximately 70° is also possible, with the drag shoes being inclined by 5° relative to the vertical direction toward the container.
[0084] Alternatively, during the folding process, the rotation of the first side arm 25 around the third rotation axis 300 can also occur before the rotation of the support frame 10 around the first rotation axis 100 – or vice versa during the unfolding process. This is particularly advantageous for trailing shoe booms with a large spreading width, in order to achieve mechanically gentle folding and unfolding.
[0085] In Figure 8a A top view of the device is shown. The components are located in the Figure 7a shown position.
[0086] By rotating the first boom 20 around the second rotation axis 200, when this axis is oriented vertically, the first boom 20 can be pivoted in the direction R2 shown. This rotational movement is effected by extending the boom actuators 61, 62. By pivoting the first boom 20 around the second rotation axis 200 by approximately 98°, the first boom can be moved into the transport position.
[0087] In addition, the pendulum frame 50 is folded onto the boom by rotating it around the pendulum rotation axis 500. This rotational movement is achieved by retracting the pendulum frame actuator 51.
[0088] In addition, the outer sub-segments 28, 29 are folded by 180° by rotation about the second end segment rotation axis 290 and the third end segment 27 is moved by 90° by rotation about the third end segment rotation axis 270.
[0089] The transport position then set is in Figure 8b as well as in Figure 8c In this position, the device can be transported in a space-saving manner.
