A seeder is a stamp-type leatherworking tool used in leather carving. It is predominantly used in floral designs to represent the seeds in the center of a flower, hence the name. Similar to other stamp-type tools, it is held vertically over the leather and struck with a wooden or rawhide mallet to create an impression in the surface of the leather. The seeder creates a small circular impression, often similar to the asterisk symbol (*) with a hole in the middle.

Seeding Machine With Seed Delivery System

A seed delivery system for use in a seeding or planting machine that removes the seed from a seed meter by capturing the seed therefrom. The delivery system then moves the seed down to a lower discharge point and accelerates the seed horizontally rearward to a speed approximately equal to the forward travel speed of the seeding machine such that the seed, when discharged has a low or zero horizontal velocity relative to the ground. Rolling of the seed in the trench is thus reduced. Furthermore, as the seed only has a short drop from the outlet to the bottom of the seed trench, the seed has little vertical speed to induce bounce. The delivery system uses a brush belt to capture, move and accelerate the seed. By capturing the seed and moving it from the meter to the discharge, the seed is held in place relative to other seeds and the planter row unit. As a result, the seeds are isolated from row unit dynamics thereby maintaining seed spacing.

A seeder includes a frame on ground wheels defining tool bars for seeding elements spaced across the frame. Each element includes a pair of parallel arms connected to the tool bar bracket forming a parallel linkage for up and down movement of a support arm connected at a rear end and carrying the packer wheel. A spring applies a downward spring force on the parallel linkage to apply a downward force on the packer wheel so that the spring force increases as the parallel arms pivot upwardly and decreases as the parallel arms pivot downwardly. A control device is arranged to raise and lower the tool bar in response to a detected value of a sensor so as to change the angle of the parallel linkage and change the spring force. A cam controlled double rack adjustment of the height of the opener allows the user to change seeding depth.

Download method for file by bit torrent protocol

The present invention relates to the improvement of the Bit Torrent protocol, which is one of the P2P protocols. A seeder flag is added to the active peer table. First a super seeder having the original is activated, and the super seeder is stopped when the total value of the seeder flags (number of activated seeders) reaches a certain level. The super seeders are activated only when the seeders having the original of a file are insufficient on the network, and are stopped when excessive. By this dynamic control, the number of activated processes of the super seeders can be decreased.

Self-watering planter employing capillary action water transport mechanism

The self-watering assembly is used in combination with a conventional planter having flow hole apertures formed within a base thereof. The assembly includes a set of water-permeable flow hole inserts each including a portion of capillary material such as spandex. The flow hole inserts are inserted into a flow hole of the planter for direct contact with soil positioned therein. The flow hole inserts are sized and shaped to securely fit within the flow hole preventing soil from falling out of the flow hole and preventing roots from growing through the flow hole. Additional capillary material, also formed of spandex, couples an interior of a water reservoir to the capillary material of the water-permeable inserts. By using spandex as the capillary material, sufficient capillary flow may be achieved to properly water even medium to large sized plants. By employing water-permeable inserts for insertion into the planter wherein the inserts have capillary material mounted therein, water can be more effectively drawn into the soil of the planter as compared to many self watering planters wherein the planter merely rests on capillary material. Also, upon removal of the planter from the water reservoir, the inserts typically remain mounted within the flow holes of the planter such that soil from the planter is prevented from falling out of the planter via the flow holes. Entirely conventional planters may be employed thereby reducing overall costs which permit the customer a wide choice of planter shapes and sizes.

Pneumatic distribution system for air seeders

The primary distribution hoses on the tillage implement of a pneumatic seeding machine are of different lengths as needed to reach distribution heads or splitters on the implement that further divide the primary streams of materials into individual streams leading directly to the ground-engaging openers of the implement. Notwithstanding the differential in hose length, outlet pressures at the distribution heads are made uniform through the provision of internal flow restrictors associated with those hoses that are shorter than the longest hoses on the machine. Throat diameters of the restrictors vary in accordance with the pressure drop that is needed to match the difference in hose length between the longest hose and the restricted hose. In a preferred embodiment, the restrictors are mounted within nipples on the coupling assembly that releasably connects conduits from a seed cart with the primary hoses on the implement.

Cultivation method for improving yield of wheat

The invention relates to a high-yield culture technique of wheat, including land preparation, seeding, fertilizer application, watering and disease and insect control; the high-yield culture technique is characterized in that: the pattern of double sowing in one ridge with equal row distance and band seeding with broad width is adopted for sowing, and a wheat seeder with broad width is used for sowing. The high-yield culture technique has the advantages that: as the land occupying space of a single plant of wheat is enlarged, the leaves of wheat are not crowed, thus chemical weed killing effect can be greatly improved; the enlargement of the growing area of a single plant is beneficial to a robust individual and good lodging resistant effect; on the basis of fine-seeding, tillering is increased, the development of colony is reasonable, grains are not crowded, the growth state of competing for fertilizer, water and nutrition does not exist among individuals, the wheat has robust growth and strong adverse resistance, the high-yield culture technique is beneficial to large spike cultivars to form more spikes, and multi spike cultivars to form large spikes, thus facilitating larger spikes and more grains and obviously improving yield. The enlargement of the nutrition adsorption area of an individual plant is good for the development of the root system and the enhancement of vitality, and the late green functional period of wheat is prolonged, which can relatively delay the aging time of wheat and is beneficial to increasing wheat grain weight.
