The invention relates to a method for using the regenerative capacity of broomcorn. The method is characterized in that: first broomcorn seeds are sown during a period from Match 1st to Match 5th, seedlings are transplanted before April 5th when the seedlings have six leaves and the broomcorn is harvest during a period from July 10th and July 15th in the same year; and regenerated broom corn seedling are subjected to water drainage for preventing waterlogging, moisture preservation and seedling raising, tiller removal and weeding and fertilizer application and hilling and harvested for the second time during a period from October 10th and October 20th in the same year. The method makes full use of the regenerative capacity of broomcorn and light and heat resources in late autumn, improves land multiple cropping index and economic benefits, advances sowing and planting of the first broomcorn, draws on the advantages and avoids disadvantages, and increases the yield of regenerative broomcorn. The technique can achieve grain yield of 989 kilograms per mu and output value of 2,187.75. And the technique realizes an increase of 239 kilograms in grain production and an increase of 942.75 Yuan in income per mu compared with the prior planting technique for wheat, corn and teocoma grandiflora.

Biological laser plasma x-ray point source

The invention provides targets coated with structured biological materials, which are employed in laser produced plasma systems. The biological materials selected from cells of microbial, protozoan or plankton origin are applied on a portion of a solid target, like polished glass plate which then form a target system that absorbs the intense laser pulses, generates hot dense plasma and results in the emission of the X-rays. The method of coating structured biomaterial decreases the usable laser intensity required for producing the hot plasma, while increasing the X-ray yield. The coatings are easy to prepare and it is possible to vary the nature and shape of the cellular material in order to control / regulate the interaction with the light and thereby optimize the resultant plasma generation and X-ray emission. The increase in temperature of the plasma and the increase in yield demonstrate that the method is suitable for enhancing the emission yield in the Ultra Violet, Extreme Ultra violet, x-ray and the hard x-ray regimes.
