This invention discloses a highly efficient propagation method for clump-forming bamboo based on pre-cultivated bamboo, relating to the field of clump-forming bamboo propagation technology. The method includes the following steps: selecting a nursery site, applying well-rotted
farmyard manure as base
fertilizer,
drying it, then digging planting holes, spraying a
bud-promoting agent solution onto the buds at the base of the mother
bamboo culm, planting the mother bamboo seedlings with the culm petioles facing downwards, the shoots arranged on both sides, and the bamboo stumps placed obliquely in the planting holes, covering with soil in
layers and compacting, watering, and managing the seedlings after planting; during the
shoot growth period, diluting the
bud-promoting agent solution and applying it along a circular trench around the mother clump, then covering with fallen leaves and keeping the soil moist,
pruning the tops after new culms emerge; the following year, digging up the seedlings, leaving weaker seedlings, retaining part of the mother clump's bamboo stump, re-covering with soil, and allowing the mother clump to continue growing. The highly efficient propagation method for clump-forming bamboo provided in this application can improve propagation efficiency, shorten the
seedling cycle, and effectively solve the problems of low propagation coefficient, unsustainable mother clump utilization, high
seedling costs, and unstable
seedling quality in existing technologies.
