Plants have a low, mounding habit, and are tolerant to at least USDA zone 6 as well as high heat and drought conditions. The new plant is useful for its bright flowers and low habit in the landscape garden or as a container plant.

Application of related biological products of LhHB4 gene in regulation and control of accumulation of anthocyanin in plants

The invention belongs to the technical field of plant genetic engineering, and particularly relates to application of a related biological product of an LhHB4 gene in regulation and control of accumulation of anthocyanin in plants. The nucleotide sequence of the LhHB4 gene is as shown in SEQ ID NO. 1, and the sequence of the encoded protein is as shown in SEQ ID NO. 2. Experiments show that the expression of the LhHB4 is in negative correlation with the biosynthesis of the anthocyanin of the lily, the accumulation of the anthocyanin in the lilies in the lilies can be remarkably inhibited by the instantaneous overexpression of the LhHB4 in the lilies, the accumulation of the anthocyanin in the lilies in the lilies in the leaves is promoted after the LhHB4 gene is silenced, and the regulation of the LhHB4 on the biosynthesis of the anthocyanin depends on an EAR motif. The related biological product of the LhHB4 gene provided by the invention provides important application support for cultivating new varieties with peculiar colors of lilies and improving the ornamental and commercial values of the lilies.
