AI Technical Summary
Existing guide systems for movable door leaves in furniture often result in undefined intermediate positions, leading to collisions with the side wall or incomplete closure of the furniture body.
Incorporating a drive device on the support or mounting part, which allows the door leaf to be driven into defined end positions, eliminating undesirable intermediate positions.
The solution ensures the door leaf can be moved into precise end positions, preventing collisions and ensuring complete closure of the furniture body, while also reducing the need for energy storage devices in furniture hinges.
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to an arrangement with a guide system for guiding at least one door leaf relative to a furniture body, comprising: at least one guide which is designed to guide the at least one door leaf along a side wall of the furniture body, at least one support which is movably mounted along the at least one guide and on which the at least one door leaf can be pivotally mounted between a first position and a second position via a pivoting path, and at least one furniture hinge arranged on the support and separate from the drive device.
[0002] Furthermore, the invention relates to a piece of furniture with a furniture body, at least one door leaf movable relative to the furniture body and with at least one arrangement of the type to be described.
[0003] A generic guide system for guiding a movable door leaf is shown, for example, in WO 2020 / 097644 A1. The door leaf is pivotally mounted via two or more furniture hinges on a longitudinally extending support that runs vertically in the assembled position. To insert the door leaf into a lateral insertion compartment of the furniture body, the support can be moved along a guide attached to the side wall of the furniture body. The door leaf is movable between a first position, in which the door leaf is aligned substantially perpendicular to the side wall of the furniture body, and a second position, in which the door leaf is aligned substantially parallel to the side wall of the furniture body. EP 3751084 A1 also discloses an example of an arrangement.
[0004] A disadvantage of the prior art is that the door leaf can assume an undefined intermediate position relative to the support, whereby the door leaf can collide with the side wall or whereby the furniture body is not completely closed by the door leaf.
[0005] The object of the present invention is to provide a guidance system of the type mentioned at the outset while avoiding the above disadvantages.
[0006] This is achieved according to the invention by the features of patent claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the present invention are defined in the dependent claims.
[0007] According to the invention, it is provided that at least one drive device is arranged on the support or on a mounting part to be fastened to the support, by means of which drive device the door leaf connected to the support in an assembled state can be driven into the first position and / or into the second position at least in a partial section of the pivoting path.
[0008] Thus, the at least one door leaf can be moved by the drive device into a defined end position relative to the support without the door leaf remaining in an undesirable intermediate position.
[0009] Further applications and advantages of the present invention are explained below: Typically, the door leaf is connected to the support via two or more furniture hinges, which must be robustly constructed due to the considerable weight of the door leaf. The manufacture of these furniture hinges for supporting the door leaf is therefore cost-intensive. To reduce costs, it may be possible to equip each of these furniture hinges with its own energy storage device for moving the door leaf.
[0010] Instead, at least one furniture hinge, preferably all furniture hinges intended for moving the door leaf, can be designed without its own energy storage device for driving the door leaf, whereby the at least one door leaf can be driven relative to the support exclusively by the drive device.
[0011] In other words, the kinematics of the door leaf are determined by the provided furniture hinges, which do not have their own energy storage for driving the door leaf. The drive of the door leaf relative to the support, however, is preferably exclusively provided by the drive device, which can preferably be provided as the sole drive device for driving the door leaf relative to the support.
[0012] Because the drive device can be the only device for driving the door leaf relative to the support, the drive device can be built robustly and equipped with a powerful energy storage device.
[0013] In addition, equipping the furniture hinges without their own energy storage device offers the possibility of making the door leaf suitable for touch-latch applications.
[0014] A touch-latch device allows the door leaf to be moved from its closed position to an open position by applying pressure. If the furniture hinges were equipped with their own energy storage mechanism, the touch-latch device would overcome the restrictive closing force of the furniture hinges. Depending on the number of furniture hinges used, the touch-latch device would then needlessly have to be equipped with a very powerful, expensive, and sometimes even dangerous energy storage mechanism.
[0015] Instead, the furniture hinges intended for moving the door leaf, preferably all furniture hinges intended for moving the door leaf, can be designed without their own energy storage mechanism for moving the door leaf. This allows the door leaf to be ejected using a touch-latch device with a relatively weak energy storage mechanism. The customer or on-site installer can optionally decide whether or not to include an additional drive mechanism for driving the door leaf.
[0016] Further details and advantages of the present invention are explained with reference to the following description of the figures. Fig. 1a, 1b show a perspective view of a piece of furniture with a furniture body and door leaves movable relative thereto, Fig. 2a, 2b show the piece of furniture according to the Figuren 1a, 1b in further positions of the door leaves relative to one another, Fig. 3a, 3b show a perspective view and an enlarged view of the guide fastened to the side wall for the displaceable mounting of the support, Fig. 4a, 4b show a perspective view and an enlarged view of the mounting part to be fastened to the support for mounting the furniture hinges and the drive device, Fig. 5a, 5b show a drive device arranged on a mounting part and a furniture hinge arranged on the mounting part in two different relative positions, Fig. 6a, 6b show the drive device in two different perspective views, and Fig. 7 shows the drive device in an exploded view.
[0017] Fig. 1a shows a perspective view of a piece of furniture 1 with a furniture body 2 and door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b movable relative thereto. The door leaves 3a, 3b and the door leaves 4a, 4b are each movable by a guide system 5 between a first position in which the door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b are aligned substantially coplanar to one another, and a second position in which the door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b are aligned substantially parallel to one another.
[0018] The door leaves 3a, 3b can be inserted into a lateral receiving compartment 8a of the furniture body 2 in a second (parallel) position, while the door leaves 4a, 4b can be inserted into a further receiving compartment 8b in a parallel position to one another.
[0019] The functionality is explained below using door leaves 3a and 3b, whereby the same explanations apply to door leaves 4a, 4b.
[0020] The guide system 5 comprises a guide rail 7 with a longitudinal direction (L), wherein a guide carriage 6 connectable to the second door leaf 3b is mounted for movement along the guide rail 7. In the assembled state, the guide rail 7 runs essentially parallel to the front side of the furniture body 2.
[0021] Fig. 1b shows the furniture 1, where the door leaves 3a, 3b starting from the Fig. 1a shown coplanar position into an angular position relative to one another. The first door leaf 3a is pivotally mounted on a support 11 via two or more furniture hinges 10, wherein the support 11 (together with the door leaves 3a, 3b) can be inserted in a depth direction (Z) into the lateral receiving compartment 8a.
[0022] The carrier 11 is located in Fig. 1b in a transfer position in which the carrier 11 adjoins the guide rail 7 in the longitudinal direction (L), so that the guide carriage 6 can be transferred back and forth between the guide rail 7 and the carrier 11. In the transfer position shown, the carrier 11 is releasably locked to the guide rail 7, wherein the locking between the guide rail 7 and the carrier 11 can be released by the guide carriage 6 entering or onto the carrier 11.
[0023] The support 11 is designed in the form of an elongated column, the length of which corresponds to at least half the height of the door leaves 3a, 3b. The two door leaves 3a, 3b are connected to each other in an articulated manner about a vertically extending axis via at least one hinge fitting 9. The second door leaf 3b is mounted for movement along the guide rail 7 via the guide carriage 6.
[0024] Fig. 2a shows the furniture 1 with the door leaves 3a and 3b, which are now aligned parallel to each other. The support 11 has been unlocked by the guide carriage 6 entering the guide rail 7, whereby the support 11 (together with the guide carriage 6 and the door leaves 3a, 3b) can be inserted into the receiving compartment 8a in the depth direction (Z) of the furniture body 2. The depth direction (Z) runs transversely, preferably substantially at right angles, to the longitudinal direction (L) of the guide rail 7.
[0025] Fig. 2b shows the furniture 1 with the door leaves 3a, 3b, which are now in a fully inserted state in the receiving compartment 8a. The door leaves 3a, 3b are thus guided by the guide system 5 from a first position according to Fig. 1a , in which the door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned substantially coplanar to each other, and a second position according to Fig. 2b , in which the door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned substantially parallel to each other and are accommodated within the receiving compartment 8a.
[0026] In this way, for example, a Figuren 2a, 2b shown kitchen 12 can be completely covered so that the kitchen 12 can be visually separated from the remaining area of a living space.
[0027] In the embodiment shown, the receiving compartment 8a is formed by a side wall 13a and a partition wall 13b spaced parallel from the side wall 13a, wherein the door leaves 3a, 3b can be inserted in a parallel position to one another between the side wall 13a and the partition wall 13b.
[0028] Fig. 3a shows the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2 and the guides 14, 15 attached to the side wall 13a, preferably in the form of guide rails 14a, 15a, for the displaceable mounting of the support 11 in the depth direction (Z) of the furniture body 2. The two guides 14, 15 are attached to the side wall 13a at a distance from one another in a vertical direction. In principle, however, it is sufficient to provide only one guide 14, 15 for the mounting of the support 11.
[0029] The at least one guide 14, 15 has a longitudinal direction (L1) that extends transversely, preferably substantially at right angles, to the longitudinal direction (L) of the guide rail 7. The elongated support 11 for supporting the furniture hinges 10 can be moved, for example via at least one roller (not shown here), along the at least one guide 14, 15 between a retracted and an extended end position. In the exemplary embodiment shown, two or more, in the present case five, furniture hinges 10 are arranged on the support 11 for pivotably supporting the door leaf 3a.
[0030] The guide system 5 can have at least one compensation device 16 for compensating a tilting moment of the support 11 about a tilting axis by means of a restoring moment. The compensation device 16 can, for example, have a scissor mechanism 16a and / or a cable device (not shown).
[0031] According to one embodiment, it can be provided that the carrier 11 can be ejected by an ejection device 17, preferably releasably lockable, starting from the retracted end position in the direction of the extended end position.
[0032] At least one drive device 18, separate from the furniture hinges 10, is arranged on the support 11, by means of which the door leaf 3a, connected to the support 11 in an assembled state, can be driven between a first position and a second position relative to the support 11. In this way, undefined intermediate positions of the door leaf 3a relative to the support 11 can be prevented.
[0033] Preferably, the drive device 18 is connected to the support 11 and to the door leaf 3a in all operating positions of the door leaf 3a. Alternatively, the drive device 18 can be designed such that the drive device 18 can be detachably coupled to the at least one door leaf 3a.
[0034] To drive the support 11 along the at least one guide 14, 15, at least one drive device (not shown) separate from the drive device 18 can be provided. In this way, the support 11 (and thus the at least one door leaf 3a) can be driven at least partially between the retracted and extended end positions by the separate drive device. Preferably, the drive devices provided for driving the support 11 function exclusively mechanically, i.e., without an electric drive and without further electrical components.
[0035] Fig. 3b shows the Fig. 3a framed area in an enlarged view.
[0036] Fig. 4a shows the mounting part 19 for supporting the furniture hinges 10 and for supporting the drive device 18. The mounting part 19 can, for example, be designed as an elongated profile rail which can be detachably connected to the carrier 11.
[0037] In In a first assembly step, the furniture hinges 10 and the drive device 18 are pre-assembled on the assembly part 19. In In a subsequent assembly step, the assembly part 19 (together with the pre-assembled components) is connected to the carrier 11. Preferably, the assembly part 19 is connectable to the carrier 11 in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the carrier 11.
[0038] Fig. 4b shows the Fig. 4a framed area in an enlarged view. The mounting part 19 can be designed as an elongated profile rail with a substantially U-shaped or L-shaped cross-section. The mounting part 19 can have a first web 19a for engagement with the support 11 and at least one second web 19b, which protrudes from the first web 19a, preferably substantially at a right angle.
[0039] At least one furniture hinge 10 for the movable mounting of the door leaf 3a and at least one drive device 18 for driving the door leaf 3a are arranged on the mounting part 19.
[0040] The furniture hinge 10 comprises a first fitting body 10a for attachment to the mounting part 19 and a second fitting body 10b for attachment to the door leaf 3a, wherein the first fitting body 10a and the second fitting body 10b are connected to one another in an articulated manner. At least one attachment point 10c for attaching the door leaf 3a is provided on the second fitting body 10b of the furniture hinge 10. The at least one attachment point 10c can be designed, for example, as a hole, a dowel, or a locking element.
[0041] The second fitting body 10b of the furniture hinge 10 has a flat contact surface 10d for contact with the door leaf 3a. The first fitting body 10a and the second fitting body 10b are movable relative to one another between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the contact surface 10d of the second fitting body 10b is aligned substantially parallel to the first web 19a of the mounting part 19 (i.e., approximately at right angles to the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2). In the second position, the contact surface 10d of the second fitting body 10b is aligned substantially at right angles to the first web 19a of the mounting part 19 (i.e., approximately parallel to the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2).
[0042] The drive device 18, separate from the furniture hinge 10, for driving the door leaf 3a relative to the support 11 comprises a first fitting part 18a for attachment to the support 11 or to the mounting part 19, and a second fitting part 18b for attachment to the door leaf 3a. The first fitting part 18a and the second fitting part 18b of the drive device 18 are connected to one another in an articulated manner. At least one attachment point 18c for attaching the door leaf 3a is provided on the second fitting part 18b of the drive device 18. The first fitting part 18a and the second fitting part 18b of the drive device 18 are movable relative to one another between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the contact surface 18d of the second fitting part 18b is aligned substantially parallel to the first web 19a of the mounting part 19 (i.e., approximately at right angles to the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2). In the second position, the contact surface 18d of the second fitting part 18b is aligned substantially at right angles to the first web 19a of the mounting part 19 (i.e., approximately parallel to the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2).
[0044] Fig. 5a shows a drive device 18 arranged on the mounting part 19 and a furniture hinge 10 arranged on the mounting part 19. In the figure shown, the contact surface 18d of the second fitting part 18b of the drive device 18 is aligned such that the door leaf 3a connected to the second fitting part 18b in an assembled state is aligned substantially at right angles to the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2. This position of the contact surface 18d corresponds to the coplanar position of the furniture parts 3a, 3b to one another ( Fig. 1a ).
[0045] Fig. 5b shows the arrangement according to Fig. 5a in a further relative position of the drive device 18 and the furniture hinge 10. The contact surface 18d of the second fitting part 18b of the drive device 18 is positioned such that the door leaf 3a, which is connected to the second fitting part 18b in an assembled state, is aligned substantially parallel to the side wall 13a of the furniture body 2.
