Description
[0001] The invention relates to a door system for installation in a door opening of a wall, for example a concrete, brick, wood or lightweight wall, with a door frame forming a door jamb in which a door element is rotatably mounted, wherein the door jamb has a stop-side, an upper and a handle-side jamb profile, each of which can be attached to the jamb surfaces of the door opening by means of adapter profiles of the door system, wherein the door jamb has an adjustment threshold that can be attached to the floor of the door opening, with two end regions that define the respective floor-side end of the stop-side and handle-side jamb profiles and with a free threshold region in the door opening that connects the two end regions together.
[0002] From AT 521 793 B1, a door system is known that can be installed in a doorway in a wall, for example, a lightweight partition wall. The door frame consists of frame profiles connected at the corners (hinge side, top, and handle side), forming a narrow, three-sided frame in the frontal view, in which a door element—essentially frameless—is rotatably mounted. The individual frame profiles of the door frame have groove-shaped recesses facing the reveal surfaces of the doorway for a guide leg of an adapter profile that can be attached to the reveal surfaces. This adapter profile secures the door frame in the doorway in such a way that the door frame has a continuous shadow gap to the adjacent reveal surfaces.
[0003] The door element has a rotatable wing profile extending over the entire height of the door element on the stop side for the edge-side, clamping reception of a door leaf, for example made of glass, wherein the rotatable wing profile is positioned in front of a plane ε 1 defined by the center of the groove-shaped receptacles of the frame profiles at a lateral distance.
[0004] The side frame profiles are connected to the upper frame profile using internal corner brackets and screwed to bottom-side base plates, which in turn are attached to the floor using screws.
[0005] A disadvantage is the considerable adjustment effort required when mounting the door frame and its exact alignment in the door opening of the wall.
[0006] In connection with adequate sound insulation of door systems, especially in the door gap to the floor, for example drop-down sealing devices are used, which are attached to the bottom edge of the door element or are received in a groove of the door element.
[0007] Such a retractable bottom seal is described in DE 20 2007 016 379 U1. A sealing element, which can be lowered parallel to the floor, is arranged in a housing of the sealing device. In its rest position (when the door is open), it is held in an upper position by spring force. When the door is closed, a release element comes into contact with the door rebate, is moved inwards, and actuates the sealing element towards the floor via deflection wedges until the door gap is closed.
[0008] US Patent 2,893,070 A discloses a door frame comprising side frame profiles, a top frame profile, and a threshold. The threshold has two end sections to which the side frame profiles are attached. The door frame also includes an adapter profile for attaching the frame profile to the jamb surface.
[0009] Door elements with three frame profiles and a door threshold are also known from documents CN 105 971 449 A and DE 10 2018 112434 A1.
[0010] Finally, US 3 769 773 A reveals a door frame with side frame profiles and a threshold that can be attached to the side frame profiles.
[0011] The object of the invention is to propose, based on the prior art presented, a door system for installation in a door opening of a wall, in which the assembly and adjustment effort can be significantly reduced.
[0012] Another objective of the invention is to improve the sound insulation of the entire door system, including its connection to the door opening in the wall, for example a lightweight wall.
[0013] This problem is solved according to the invention by the fact that the two end regions of the adjustment threshold each have U-shaped recesses directed towards the jamb surfaces of the door opening, which serve to adjust the position of the adapter profiles before they are attached to the jamb surfaces.
[0014] The adjustment effort during the installation of the door system is essentially reduced in the invention to the exact alignment and horizontal installation of the adjustment threshold according to the invention into the door opening, for example a lightweight wall made of plasterboard.
[0015] The formation of a uniformly sloping door gap, defined by the adjustment threshold and its free threshold area, is a prerequisite for a significant improvement in the sound insulation of the entire system. According to the invention, the free threshold area of the adjustment threshold is designed as a contact surface for a sealing device attached to the bottom end of the door element, which is preferably retractable in the closed position.
[0016] Further soundproofing measures, in particular the use of soundproof glass for the door element and a Y-shaped cross-section seal that bridges a shadow gap formed between the jamb-side and handle-side frame profiles and the adjacent reveal surfaces in a sound-insulating manner, can achieve insulation values of over 40 dB for the entire system.
[0017] The invention is described in more detail below with reference to preferred embodiments. The figures shown are: Fig. 1 the door system according to the invention in a door opening of a lightweight wall in an overall view, viewed from the opening surface of the revolving door element; Fig. 2 an enlarged sectional view along line II - II in Fig. 1 ; Fig. 3 a top view of the adjustment threshold at the bottom of the door opening in the lightweight wall according to Fig. 1 in enlarged view; Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 Horizontal sections of door systems in the area of the floor-side end of the revolving door elements (see line IV - IV in Fig. 2 ) with different widths of the door opening in the lightweight wall; Fig. 6bis Fig. 8 Different installation positions of the adjustment threshold of the door system in a top view according to Fig. 3 ; Fig. 9 and Fig. 10 to a first assembly step according to Fig. 7 subsequent assembly steps two ( Fig. 9 ) and three ( Fig. 10 ); Fig. 11 Details of the revolving door element of the door system according to Fig. 1 in an exploded view; and Fig. 12 a top view of the screw-on plate on the stop-side frame profile of the door system.
[0018] The in Fig. 1 The illustrated door assembly 10 is preferably installed in a doorway in a wall 1, for example, a lightweight partition wall. The door frame 11, with its frame profiles 12 (hinge side), 13 (top), and 14 (handle side), forms an aesthetically pleasing, narrow, three-sided frame in which a door element 20 with a glass door leaf 22 is rotatably mounted. The frame profiles 12, 13, and 14 of the door frame 11 (or their base profiles 16) have groove-shaped receptacles 15 facing the jamb surfaces 2 of the doorway for the guide legs 6 of an adapter profile 3, which can be attached to the jamb surfaces 2 of the doorway. The door frame 11 can be fixed in the doorway with this adapter profile 3, such that the door frame 11 has a continuous shadow gap 7 to the adjacent jamb surfaces 2 (see, for example, [reference]). Fig. 4 und Fig. 5 ).
[0019] As in Fig. 3 As shown in detail, an adjustment threshold 17, which can be attached to the floor of the door opening, is provided. This threshold is equipped on both sides with end sections 18, 18' that define the respective floor-side ends of the stop-side and handle-side frame profiles 14 and have a free threshold section 19 that connects the two end sections 18, 18'. The adjustment threshold 17 is preferably manufactured in one piece from sheet steel.
[0020] The adjustment threshold 17 is aligned horizontally in the door opening of the wall 1 using a measuring rod M or the like, whereby either the contact surfaces a or b of the adjustment threshold 17 are brought into contact and the available width of the door opening is divided evenly (see Fig. 3 ).
[0021] The two end regions 18, 18' of the adjustment threshold 17 each have U-shaped recesses 23 directed towards the adjacent jamb surfaces 2 of the door opening, which serve to adjust the position of the adapter profiles 3 before they are attached to the jamb surfaces 2 (see, for example, Fig. 6 bis Fig. 8 ).
[0022] The adjustment threshold 17 significantly reduces the adjustment effort required for installing the door system 10, as the alignment and position of all other elements of the door system 10 are clearly defined after the adjustment threshold is mounted (using screws 24 or adhesive). Furthermore, the exposed threshold area 19, or rather its surface, forms a defined gap of constant width to the door element 20, which also allows for effective sound insulation.
[0023] As shown in the detailed description according to Fig. 2 As shown, the free threshold area 19 of the adjustment threshold 17 can be designed as a contact surface embedded in the adjacent floor B for a sealing device 50 attached to the bottom end of the door element 20, which can be lowered in the closed position. The sealing device 50, whose housing 51 accommodates the lower end of the glass door leaf 22 on one side and contains the lowerable sealing element 52 on the other, can preferably be arranged directly below the glass door leaf 22.
[0024] For example, in the Fig. 4 und Fig. 5 As shown, the frame profiles 12 and 14 each have a base profile 16 which can be screwed to the adapter profile 3 attached to the reveal surface 2. Different cover profiles 41, 42 are attached to the base profiles 16 on the stop and handle sides, respectively, for example by means of socket head cap screws, wherein the cover profile 41 of the stop-side frame profile 12 and the rotating sash profile 21 have mutually facing surfaces in the form of cylindrical shell sections, such that a constant movement gap between the mutually facing surfaces can be achieved when the door element 20 is opened.
[0025] A particularly aesthetic overall appearance of the door system 10 results from the fact that the rotatable wing profile 21 is integrated into the jamb-side frame profile 12, whereby the width and depth of the two frame profiles 12 and 14 have the same values and are framed by a uniform shadow gap 7 to the reveal surfaces 2.
[0026] To improve sound insulation, two elastic sealing elements 25, 25' are arranged in the movement gap between the sash profile 21 and the cover profile 41, against which the sash profile 21 with its cylindrical shell section slides. This measure also ensures sufficient pinch protection in the stop-side area of the door element 20.
[0027] The base profile 16 of the handle-side frame profile 14 has a cover profile 42 in which a stop rebate for the door leaf 22 is formed, wherein a stop seal and a seal acting on the front face of the door leaf 22 are provided, which ensure sound insulation on the handle side.
[0028] In the Fig. 6 bis Fig. 8 Different installation positions of the adjustment threshold 19 in the door opening of wall 1 are shown in a top view. Fig. 6 und Fig. 7 The diagram shows an adjustment in which the contact surfaces a of the adjustment threshold 17 come into contact with a measuring rod not shown here. In the variant according to... Fig. 8 The mounting surfaces b are used for adjustment.
[0029] In any case, the adapter profiles 3 can be inserted with their lower ends into the U-shaped recesses 23 of the end areas 18, 18' of the adjustment threshold 17 and aligned vertically, without further adjustment measures, and screwed onto the jamb surfaces 2.
[0030] By centering the adjustment threshold 17 in the middle of the door opening, shadow gaps 7 of varying widths can occur – in case of slightly different rough opening dimensions or dimensional tolerances of the door opening (see Fig. 6 bis Fig. 8 ), which can, however, be easily compensated for using the adapter profiles 3.
[0031] To prevent the transmission of structure-borne sound, the separation joint T in the screed concrete between the interior and exterior of the room can be located in the area below the adjustment threshold 17 (see Fig. 6 If fastening by screws 24 is not possible in this area, the adjustment threshold 17 can be fixed using a suitable mounting adhesive.
[0032] Fig. 9 shows starting from Fig. 7 A further assembly step is carried out in which the base profiles 16 of the stop-side 12 and the handle-side frame profile 14 are attached at their bottom-side ends to screw plates 30, 30', which are screwed to the corresponding end section 18, 18' of the adjustment threshold 17. The screw plates 30, 30' are fastened to the base profiles 16 by means of screws 35, which engage in screw channels of the base profiles 16.
[0033] When screwing the base profile 16 to the guide legs 6 of the adapter profile 3, a block 37, for example made of wood, can be inserted between the guide legs 6 to provide better support for the screws 36 (see Fig. 9 ).
[0034] A special contribution to sound insulation is achieved by arranging the base of a Y-shaped sealing element 31 in a groove of the adapter profile 3, the free legs 32 of which abut sealingly on one side against the cover profile 41 and on the other side against the sash profile 21 of the door element 20 and sound-insulatingly bridge the shadow gap 7 formed between the jamb-side frame profile 12 and the adjacent reveal surface 2 (see Fig. 10 The same applies of course to the handle-side frame profile 14, where the free legs 32 of the Y-shaped sealing element 31 abut the cover profile 42 of the handle-side frame profile 14 in a sealing manner and bridge a shadow gap 7 formed between the handle-side frame profile 14 and the adjacent reveal surface 2 in a sound-insulating manner.
[0035] Fig. 11 Figure 1 shows an exploded view of a reduced-height door element 20 of the door system 10, wherein the door element 20 has, on the stop side, a rotatable wing profile 21 extending over the entire height of the door element 20, which is designed for the edge-side, clamping reception of a glass door leaf 22. In the closed position, the door element 20 is soundproofed against the free threshold area 19 of the adjustment threshold 17 (not shown here) by means of the retractable sealing device 50 arranged at the lower edge of the door leaf 22.
[0036] The rotatable wing profile 21 is closed off by a lower, bottom-side pivot bearing element 26 (shown enlarged) and an upper pivot bearing element 27, wherein the lower pivot bearing element 26 interacts with a bearing receptacle 34 of the mounting plate 30 (see Fig. 12 ).
[0037] The lower pivot bearing element 26 has a recess 33, which allows the sealing element 52, which can be lowered from the housing 51 of the sealing device 50, to be brought closer to the axis of rotation of the door element 20 in order to effectively seal a gap in this area.
[0038] The upper pivot bearing element 27 is received by an upper bearing receptacle 40, which is formed as part of the frame 11 forming the door frame (see Fig. 1 ).
[0039] The rotatable wing profile 21 of the door element 20 has sealing elements 28, 29 at both ends, which on the one hand soundproof the gap to the upper bearing receptacle 40 and on the other hand the gap to the screw plate 30 attached to the adjustment threshold 17.
[0040] The sealing element 28 is in Fig. 11 The enlarged image shows the sealing element 29, which is arranged in a groove-shaped recess of the upper bearing receptacle 40. The sealing element 29 can be T-shaped and is arranged in a groove or groove system of the mounting plate 30 (see [reference]). Fig. 12 ).
