Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The invention relates to a heater with at least one safety drain valve connected to a central heating line of the heater. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Combi water heaters are heating devices used to meet heating and hot water needs. The pressure of the water circulating in the combi water heater must remain within certain limits. For this reason, combi water heater systems include valves that keep the water pressure under control.

[0003] Valves that regulate water pressure are called safety valves. These valves ensure that the water in the system is partially drained when it rises above a certain level. This partially drained water reduces the pressure. Combi water heaters include an additional drain line leading outside. This line is used to manually drain the water in the combi water heater system for tasks such as maintenance and repair. This line also includes a manually controlled valve.

[0004] The fact that they include two valves and two drain lines means that combo water heaters require more volume for the system. Two separate lines and two separate valves also increase production costs.

[0005] EP3 636 969 A1 relates to a check valve, particularly for use in a heating or cooling circuit. The valve comprises a valve housing (2) with at least one inlet (3, 3') and at least one outlet (4, 4'), which are connected to one another via a channel (10). To control a flow through the channel (10), a valve element (7) with a spring element (34) is movable between an open position and a closed position depending on the pressure of the fluid. An additional draining tool (40) can be inserted into an extension of the valve housing to compress the spring and manually drain the water into the drain.

[0006] All the problems mentioned above have made innovation in the relevant technical field necessary. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The present invention relates to a heating device to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages and to provide new advantages in the relevant technical field.

[0008] An object of the invention is to provide a heating device in which a safety valve and a drain valve are combined in a single valve.

[0009] In order to achieve all the objects mentioned above and resulting from the detailed description below, the present invention relates to a heating device comprising at least one safety relief valve connected to a central heating line of the heating device. The innovation is that the safety drain valve comprises at least one connecting pipe connected to the central heating line, at least one drain pipe connected to the connecting pipe, at least one valve element arranged in the safety drain valve, and at least one spring arranged on the connecting pipe for closing the flow path of the connecting pipe, which spring pushes at least one first wall toward at least one leaning wall. The spring is arranged between at least one second wall and the first wall, the second wall is connected to the drain pipe, and the second wall and the first wall are configured to move toward or away from each other. Thus, the fluid flow through the safety drain valve can be controlled.

[0010] The feature of a possible embodiment of the invention is that the valve element comprises at least one shaft connected to the first wall, which extends through at least one shaft hole provided on the second wall. In this way, the first wall and the second wall can approach each other in such a way that fluid flow is enabled.

[0011] According to the invention, the safety drain valve comprises at least one adjustment tube between the drain pipe and the connecting pipe so that the liquid flow can be manually controlled.

[0012] According to the invention, the outer circumference of the adjustment tube comprises at least one movement channel and at least one movement lever partially arranged in the movement channel, wherein the movement lever moves within the movement channel. Thus, the position of the valve element can be controlled by the movement of the adjustment tube and the discharge tube relative to each other.

[0013] According to the invention, the movement channel has a spiral shape, and the movement lever is configured to move between at least two ends of the movement channel. This allows the flow path to be opened and closed.

[0014] The feature of another possible embodiment of the invention is that the drain pipe comprises at least one stop wall, which is pressed against the second wall by a spring. In this way, the flow path of the liquid between the valve recess and the drain pipe can be closed.

[0015] The feature of another possible embodiment of the invention is that the first wall comprises at least one seal facing the second wall. This ensures that the fluid flow path from the connecting pipe to the valve recess can be hermetically sealed. SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE CHARACTERS

[0016] Figure 1shows a representative perspective view of a safety relief valve of the heater according to the invention. Figure 2 shows a representative front sectional view of the safety relief valve of the heater according to the invention. Figure 3 shows a representative perspective sectional view of the safety relief valve of the heater according to the invention. Figure 4 shows a representative perspective view of the valve element of the heater according to the invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0017] In this detailed description, the subject matter of the invention is explained only by means of examples which serve to better understand the subject matter and have no limiting effect.

[0018] Figure 1shows a representative perspective view of a safety drain valve (10) of the heating device according to the invention. The heating device is essentially a combination water heater with a central heating line. The central heating line is the line through which the fluid circulates. The said fluid is water. The safety drain valve (10) is connected to the central heating line. The safety drain valve (10) ensures the drainage of the fluid in the central heating line.

[0019] The safety drain valve (10) comprises at least one connecting pipe (20). The connecting pipe (20) connects the safety drain valve (10) to the central heating line. Accordingly, the connecting pipe (20) is the section through which fluid is supplied to the safety drain valve (10). The safety drain valve (10) comprises at least one drain pipe (40). The drain pipe (40) is the section through which the fluid exits the safety drain valve (10).

[0020] Figure 2 shows a representative front sectional view of the safety relief valve (10) of the heater according to the invention. Accordingly, the safety relief valve (10) comprises at least one valve element (50). The valve element (50) controls the fluid flow in the safety relief valve (10).

[0021] Figure 3shows a representative perspective sectional view of a safety relief valve (10) of the heating device according to the invention. Accordingly, the valve element (50) comprises at least one first wall (51). The first wall (51) is located on the portion of the valve element (50) facing the connecting pipe (20). The portion of the connecting pipe (20) facing the first wall (51) comprises at least one abutment wall (21). At least one seal (511) is connected to the surface of the first wall (51) facing the abutment wall (21). Said seal (511) is a sealing element. When the first wall (51) bears against the abutment wall (21), the seal (511) prevents liquid from escaping from the connecting pipe (20) in the direction of the valve element (50).

[0022] The valve element (50) comprises at least one second wall (52). The second wall (52) is located on the portion of the valve element (50) facing the drain pipe (40). The portion of the drain pipe (40) facing the second wall (52) comprises at least one stop wall (42). Accordingly, in the position in which the valve element (50) stops the flow of liquid, the second wall (52) rests against said stop wall (42).

[0023] Figure 4shows a representative perspective view of the valve element (50) of the heating device according to the invention. Accordingly, at least one shaft (55) is located between the first wall (51) and the second wall (52). The shaft (55) leads through at least one shaft hole (53) provided in the second wall (52). At least one spring (54) is arranged around the shaft (55). Said spring (54) is connected at one end to the first wall (51). At another end, the spring (54) is connected to the second wall (52). The spring (54) presses the first wall (51) towards the supporting wall (21). In this way, the first wall (51) and the seal (511) rest against the supporting wall (21). In this way, the first wall (51) can stop the flow from the connecting pipe (20). The spring (54) presses the second wall (52) towards the stopper wall (42).

[0024] When the spring (54) is compressed, the shaft (55) moves partially through the shaft hole (53) to the drain pipe (40). This allows the first wall (51) and the second wall (52) to approach each other due to the clamping action of the spring (54). When the spring (54) is compressed, the first wall (51) is separated from the leaning wall (21). This allows the liquid to flow from the connecting pipe (20) to the drain pipe (40). When the first wall (51) and the second wall (52) approach each other, the liquid can flow from the connecting pipe (20) into the drain pipe (40).

[0025] The spring (54) is configured so that it is not compressed below a predetermined critical fluid pressure value. The first wall (51) remains in contact with the support wall (21) until the first wall (51) is subjected to a greater force by the fluid in the direction opposite to the spring pressure. Thus, the valve element (50) does not allow any fluid flow up to a certain pressure. This ensures that the fluid remains in the central heating line under normal operating conditions of the heater. When the fluid pressure exceeds the specified critical pressure value, the spring (54) is compressed. This ensures that the fluid reaches the drain pipe (40) and is drained from there at least a certain amount. If the fluid pressure in the central heating line exceeds the specified critical value, at least some fluid discharge is guaranteed. This reduces the pressure in the central heating line.

[0026] The valve element (50) is located in at least one adjustment tube (30). The adjustment tube (30) comprises at least one valve recess (32). The valve element (32) is positioned in the valve recess (32). The spring (54) can be compressed with the adjustment tube (30). The adjustment tube (30) thus enables manual control of the valve element (50). The adjustment tube (30) comprises at least one movement channel (31). The movement channel (31) is located on the surface of the adjustment tube (30). The movement channel (31) is essentially designed as a recess on the outer surface of the adjustment tube (30).

[0027] The drain pipe (40) comprises at least one movement lever (41). The movement lever (41) extends from the drain pipe (40) to the adjustment pipe (30). The movement lever (41) is connected to a movement channel (31). The movement channel (31) is spiral-shaped. The movement channel (31) comprises at least a first end (311). The first end (311) is the section of the spiral shape that is closer to the connecting pipe (20). The movement channel (31) comprises at least a second end (312). The second end (312) is the section of the spiral shape that is closer to the drain pipe (40). The movement lever (41) is movable in the movement channel (31). When the adjustment tube (30) and the discharge tube (40) are rotated relative to each other about the axis of the extension direction of the safety discharge valve (10), the movement lever (41) changes its position between the first end (311) and the second end (312). This rotation can be performed by one person.

[0028] Accordingly, the spring (54) presses the first wall (51) towards the leaning wall (21) when the movement lever (41) is near the first end (311). In this way, the first wall (51) prevents the liquid from the connecting pipe (20) from reaching the drain pipe (40). When the movement lever (41) is near the second end (312), the spring (54) is compressed. This brings the first wall (51) and the second wall (52) closer together. This allows the liquid to flow from the connecting pipe (20) into the drain pipe (40). In this way, the liquid in the central heating line can be drained manually using the safety drain valve (10).

[0029] The safety drain valve (10) can both drain the fluid in the central heating line to which the heater is connected when the pressure exceeds a certain value and ensure that it can be drained manually by a person. The safety drain valve (10) thus fulfills the function of both a safety valve and a drain valve. This eliminates the need for two separate valves for the heater to drain the fluid. In addition, the safety drain valve (10) provides a single drain line for the heater instead of two separate drain lines required for the safety valve and the drain valve. This reduces the volume of the drain line in the heater. Furthermore, production and maintenance costs are reduced.
