Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a window, a door or a facade element with a frame and sash according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] Such windows or doors are already known in a wide variety of designs.

[0003] DE 201 05 296 U1 discloses a ventilation device for a window or door. The device is located in a rebate space between the frame and sash, which can be connected to an interior space and the surrounding area via openings for ventilation purposes, allowing a limited exchange of air between the interior space and the surrounding area. For this purpose, a box of the ventilation device is attached to the frame, which compresses the stop seal on the sash frame to such an extent that an opening gap is created, or that the stop seal is recessed in the area of the box. To prevent air exchange between the interior space and the surrounding area, a slider is arranged on the interior-facing end face of the sash frame.

[0004] According to DE 199 29 133 C2, a plastic window is known in which at least one rebate ventilator is provided in the rebate space. The ventilator is attached to the frame. In the area of the rebate ventilator, a seal is provided on the opposite side of the sash frame. This seal is designed as a false seal and is correspondingly narrower than the sash seal adjoining the respective ends of the rebate ventilator on the sash frame side of the false seal.

[0005] DE 20 2005 002 132 U1 discloses a ventilation device with at least one ventilation duct, which is arranged between a casement and a frame on an outer side and an inner side of the frame assembly. An airflow limiting device can be seen, which has a limiting element, wherein the limiting element releases the ventilation duct in an open position and partially closes the ventilation duct in a closed position. The ventilation device is attached to the casement, whereby the duct element can also engage in a section of the fitting receiving groove of the casement for the inner stop seal.

[0006] In the case of generic window rebate ventilators, such as those from the

[0007] The flow around principle of a pendulum flap of a volume flow limiter is familiar from the patent application DE 10 2007 023 538 A1. There, the closure element is only flowed around on its longitudinal edge opposite the pendulum flap pivot axis, which, in the closed position of the pendulum flap closing the air flow path, comes into contact with areas of the air supply chamber. Flow through the closure element or the reset element is not provided for in these designs. Perforations in the closure element or in the reset element designed as a counterweight would lead to leaks or the non-functioning of the pendulum flap in this type of window rebate ventilator. Disturbing air circulation or turbulence in the installed position during use of this window rebate ventilator could also impair its functionality. For this reason, it is not possible to provide spring elements in the return element in the form of spring tongues formed by cuts in the wall of the return element. On the other hand, it is also not possible to create sufficient space between the wall bounding the air supply chamber and the return element, for example by changing the inclination of the return element in relation to the closure element. For example, a more acute angle between the closure element and the return element would result in the return element protruding further into the air flow path and being caught by the air flow as an obstruction during use of the window rebate ventilator. This would result in the pendulum flap being moved into its closed position by the air flow earlier than desired. As soon as the airflow were interrupted, the counterweight would move the pendulum flap back to its open position, and the airflow would flow through the window rebate ventilator again. Such a measure would therefore result in undesirable, frequent pendulum swinging of the pendulum flap, which would lead to undesirable rattling noises. In particular, such a modified arrangement of the counterweight relative to the closure element would result in the latter resting on the floor surface of the air guide chamber "earlier" during an opening movement of the pendulum flap, i.e., after a pivoting movement from the closed position of the closure element to an open position after sweeping through a smaller angle, than is otherwise the case with a window rebate ventilator of the same size. However, this would then have the consequence that the maximum possible air gap between the closure element and the air guide chamber would be smaller, which would lead to a reduction in the maximum volume flow that can be passed through the window rebate ventilator.

[0008] DE102009013474A1 describes a ventilation device according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0009] All common window rebate ventilators have a regulated supply air flow rate to prevent excessive airflow and thus drafts in the room. It is generally known that both positive and negative pressure can exist on the facade. The airflow direction is therefore not clearly defined and can also change.

[0010] Unlike the regulated supply air flow rate, the exhaust air flow rate is not regulated with conventional window rebate ventilators. This can result in more warm air being directed outside the room than necessary. This is a disadvantage from an energy perspective.

[0011] The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a solution which makes it possible to maintain the full functionality of a generic window rebate ventilator when installed in a horizontal as well as a vertical installation position for both the supply air volume flow and the exhaust air volume flow without impairing the air flow path and the maximum possible volume flow for a given size, and thus eliminates all of the disadvantages described above.

[0012] This problem is solved by the means of the characterising part of claim 1.

[0013] The arrangement means that the ventilation device uses an actuator to regulate the air flow when the window or door is closed, or to open or close it as needed. Furthermore, the ventilation device is simple in design, requiring only a few components and is easy to install. A particular advantage is that the ventilation device can be adjusted to suit the window or door size. The ventilation device can then be mounted between the sash and the frame in the area of the air duct formed in the rebate. Spring elements acting on a ventilation flap make it possible to install the ventilation device, which is mounted in the window rebate, horizontally or in the vertical side window rebate area of a window or door. Without a spring element, the ventilation flap would have no effect in this position. The ventilation device is preferably installed in a forced-ventilation window or door, with a ventilation flap of a volume flow limiter mounted so as to swing around a rotation axis. The ventilation flap assumes a basic position that opens the ventilation path and two further positions that serve as the ventilation path for a supply air flow or exhaust air flow. A stop edge of a sash of the ventilation flap, spaced from the rotation axis, spring-loaded by the spring element, comes into sealing contact with a stop surface of an air guide chamber. The spring elements control and simultaneously dampen the ventilation paths for the supply air flow or exhaust air flow.

[0014] For this purpose, the ventilation device has at least one frame opening in the rebate space arranged between the frame and the sash for regulating a supply air flow from the outside of a building and an exhaust air flow from an interior. The surrounding housing of the ventilation device is formed by an air guide chamber, which forms a tightly enclosed space in which the volume flow limiter is arranged. Within the air guide chamber, the pivotally mounted ventilation flap is rotatably mounted. This flap acts as a closing element and allows the air flow to automatically open and close within the air guide chamber.

[0015] A distinctive feature is that the ventilation flap is mounted in the air guide chamber on a pivoting axis, and forms a vane extending from the pivoting axis. Each vane is held in an initial position by at least one spring element acting separately to regulate both air flows. With at least one spring element arranged on each vane of the ventilation flap and a stable, rotatable attachment of the pivoting axis to the air guide chamber, the ventilation flap of the volume flow limiter is mounted in a positionally fixed position in the air guide chamber.

[0016] Advantageously, the ventilation flap allows pivoting adjustment via the rotation axis against the resistance of the corresponding spring constant of the spring elements relative to the respective sides of the blades. The separate application of the spring force to the respective blades enables the spring constant to be determined for each individual blade. By assigning a first blade for the supply air flow and a second blade for the extract air flow, the supply and extract air flows are regulated uniformly or differently as required thanks to the individually definable spring constant of the spring elements on the blades. The supply and extract air flows can therefore be easily adjusted separately using the ventilation flap of the volume flow limiter. Furthermore, the volume flows of the supply and extract air flows can be regulated without changing the spring constant using the number of spring elements arranged on the individual blades.

[0017] To optimize the direction and simultaneously maintain high volumetric flow efficiency of the supply and exhaust air, the ventilation device can be arranged in the rebate space longitudinally to the sash and frame. The rotation axis of the ventilation flap of the volume flow limiter also extends longitudinally and is mounted in the air guide chamber so that it can pivot transversely to the longitudinal direction. The ventilation flap has a round bearing pin on both ends. The bearing pin is freely rotatably mounted in a suspension on the base body of the air guide chamber, forming the housing, and forms the rotation axis of the ventilation flap.

[0018] The ventilation flap is thus freely movable between a horizontal base position and two pivoting positions, but is held in place by the spring elements. Also extending longitudinally along the ventilation device are corresponding housing openings on two sides of the air guide chamber, facing the outside and inside of the room.

[0019] The number of spring elements can be freely selected independently of the ventilation flap. In order to manufacture the spring elements and the ventilation flap as separate components, the spring elements are replaceable and / or attached to the lower housing half of the volume flow limiter. This makes it possible to vary the spring constant and number of the spring elements and possibly replace them without affecting the production process for manufacturing the ventilation flap. The number of spring elements in the ventilation device can be easily and cost-effectively adjusted as required. Only one housing half of the air guide chamber is used, which is equipped with a spring element, so that at least one spring element forms a pair with a blade of the ventilation flap, each assigned to an air path direction for the supply air flow and exhaust air flow. The control behavior for supply and exhaust air flow can thus be adjusted equally or differently by varying the spring constants of the spring elements of the corresponding pair. With automatic adjustment of the air flows by the volume flow limiter, the spring elements dampen the blades of the ventilation flap to such an extent that rattling noises are reliably suppressed.

[0020] According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the housing of the air guide chamber consists of a lower and an upper housing half, wherein the lower housing half has the spring elements and a stop limit for the sashes of the ventilation flap and, when mounted in the rebate space, is assigned to the frame. The upper housing half, with an enclosed space, provides accommodation for the ventilation flap and housing openings for the air path direction. In the event of air pressure differences between the outside of the window or door and the inside of the room, the air flows from the rebate space through the gap between the ventilation flap and the stop surface in the air guide chamber, as well as a gap between the frame and the air guide chamber of the sash, into the interior of the room.To allow fresh air to enter the rebate space from the outside, recesses have been made in the outer stop seal in the area of the vertical sides of the window, each of which forms frame openings.

[0021] The spring element is made of the same material as the lower half of the volume flow limiter housing. This allows the housing to be manufactured from a plastic material for simplicity. Alternatively, other materials are possible for the air guide chamber housing and / or the spring elements. A preferred material for the volume flow limiter is also a plastic material.

[0022] Thanks to the spring element that drives the volume flow limiter into its horizontal opening position, the ventilation device can also be installed vertically, and thus in the vertical sections of a window or door rebate. This allows the ventilation device to be mounted at any desired position between the frame and sash.

[0023] Another particularly advantageous feature is that the ventilation device can be coupled to other ventilation devices arranged on the sash overlap between the sash frame and the frame without any additional assembly work or processing of the sash or frame.

[0024] Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the drawings, which show: Fig. 1a front view of a window with a schematically shown ventilation device in the supply air flow, Fig. 2the ventilation device in perspective view with the frame, Fig. 3the ventilation device according to Fig. 2 in an exploded view and in perspective view, Fig. 4 a cross-sectional view through the window or door of the Fig. 1 with a section through the ventilation device, with the position in the supply air flow, Fig. 5 a cross-sectional view through the window or door of the Fig. 1 with section through the ventilation device, with position in exhaust air flow, Fig. 6 the ventilation device of the Fig. 2 in cross-sectional view in a middle position of a volume flow limiter, Fig. 7 the ventilation device of the Fig. 2 in cross-sectional view in a position of the volume flow limiter closed by exhaust air flow and Fig. 8 the ventilation device of the Fig. 2in cross-sectional view in a position of the volume flow limiter closed by supply air flow.

[0025] The Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a front view of a window element 2 from the inside of a room 10 of a building (not shown). The window element 2 is shown with its frame 3 and the sash 4 pivotably arranged therein. The frame 3 is covered by the sash 4 with a sash overlap 31. The sash 4 can be fully or partially opened by means of functional fitting components (not shown) via an operating handle 32 or by motor operation.

[0026] Between the frame 3 and the sash 4 is a rebate space 5. A stop seal 33 sealing on the outside 8, i.e. the side facing away from the interior 10, between the frame 3 and the sash 4 according to Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 is at least two positions 34, 35 of window 2 after Fig. 1removed in sections, so that frame openings 6, 7 are formed. As indicated by the arrows 36 Fig. 1 As shown, a supply air flow 9 flows from the outside 8 into the rebate space 5. In the rebate space 5, the supply air flow 9 flows further according to the arrows 36 to a ventilation device 1, from which the supply air flow 9 flows in the direction of the arrows 36 into the interior 10 of the building provided with the window element 2. It is also possible for an exhaust air flow 11 to flow from the interior 10 to the outside 8 of the building in the opposite direction of the arrows 36 (not shown).

[0027] The ventilation device 2 is in the Fig. 1 visible position in the upper, transverse rebate space 5 of the window element 2. The ventilation device 1 comprises Fig. 6 to Fig. 8an air guide chamber 13, in which a volume flow limiter 14 in the form of a ventilation flap 15 pivotably mounted about a rotation axis 16 is arranged. The ventilation flap 15 comprises, starting from the rotation axis 16 on both sides 17, 18, a slightly curved blade 19, 20. As can be seen from the Fig. 6 to Fig. 8 As can be seen, the ventilation flap 15 is Fig. 6 in a basic position in a horizontal, symmetrical position to the rotation axis 16, arranged in a mirror image. In Fig. 7 The ventilation flap 15 is in a pivoting end position and a surface 37 of the first wing 19 rests against a lower housing half 23 of the air guide chamber 13. In this position, the ventilation flap 15 locks the air flow channel 38 of the air guide chamber 13 with the second wing 20 and forms a closure position for the exhaust air flow 11. Fig. 8 As can be seen, the ventilation flap 15 pivots in the opposite direction to Fig. 7and strikes the lower housing half 23 of the air guide chamber 13 with a surface 39 of the second wing 20. The ventilation flap 15 locks the air guide chamber 13 with the first wing 19, separates the supply air flow 9, which flows from the outside 8 through a frame opening 6, 7 into the air flow duct 38, from the interior 10, and forms a closure position for the exhaust air flow 11.

[0028] When the window or door 2 is closed, it regulates Fig. 6 to Fig. 8 the volume flow limiter 14 of the ventilation device 1 controls the air flow 9, 11 by opening or closing. Fig. 3 The ventilation device 1 can be easily assembled using only a few components. The ventilation device 1 is completed after Fig. 3 through the upper housing half 24, the lower housing half 23 and the volume flow limiter 14. In the assembled state, the ventilation device 1 can be Fig. 4 and Fig. 5between the sash frame 4 and the frame 3 in the area of the air flow channel 38 forming in the rebate space 5 and by means of holes 40, 41 provided in the housing 12 Fig. 2 using fastening screws not shown. Thanks to at least one spring element 21, 22, it is possible to install the ventilation device 1 in the Fig. 1 vertically extending lateral window rebate areas 42, 43 of the window 2. For this purpose, the spring element 21, 22 acts Fig. 4, Fig. 5 or Fig. 7 on the volume flow limiter 14 and keeps the ventilation flap 15 constantly in a position symmetrical to the rotation axis 16, which is also the neutral basic position of the ventilation device 1 in the unassembled delivery state. Fig. 4 and Fig. 5The ventilation device 1 is in the operationally mounted state of the forced-ventilation window or door 2, with the swingable ventilation flap 15 pivotally mounted in the horizontal basic position on the pivot axis 16. The volume flow limiter 14, which is formed by the ventilation flap 15 and the spring elements 21, 22, has three different basic positions due to the effect of the air flow 9, 11. In the Fig. 6 , the ventilation flap 15 is in a first exhaust air flow 11 closed position under the action of the spring element 21. Fig. 7 shows the basic position of the volume flow limiter 14 with horizontal position of the ventilation flap 15 under slight effect of the spring elements 21, 22 on the ventilation flap 15. In the Fig. 8 , the ventilation flap 15 is in an opposite direction to the Fig. 6under the action of the spring element 22 in a first supply air flow 9 closed position about the rotation axis 16. Depending on the strength of the air flow, intermediate positions of the ventilation flap 15 are possible. In order to achieve a secure closure of the volume flow limiter 14 for the supply air flow 9 and the exhaust air flow 11, the vanes 19, 20 of the ventilation flap 15 have a stop edge 46, 47 at the free ends 44, 45 away from the rotation axis 16, which, due to the action of the spring elements 21, 22, seal against the wall of the air guide chamber 13. The vanes 19, 20 of the ventilation flap 15 are individually spring-loaded by the respective spring elements 21, 22 and come to rest with a stop limiter 25, 26 in the air guide chamber 13. Fig. 6 and Fig. 8 sealing to the system. The ventilation paths for the supply air flow 9 or exhaust air flow 11 are controlled by the spring constant of the spring elements 21, 22 and have a damping effect on the ventilation flap 15. In Fig. 6 The exhaust air flow 11 is closed, whereby the spring element 21 counteracts the ventilation flap 15 and has a damping effect on the wing 19. The wing 20 strikes the upper housing half 24 with its free end 45 and closes the air guide chamber 13, whereby the spring element 22 is unstressed.

[0029] In Fig. 8 the supply air flow 9 is closed, whereby the spring element 22 counteracts the ventilation flap 15 and has a damping effect on the wing 20. The wing 19 strikes the upper housing half 24 with its free end 44 and closes the air guide chamber 13, whereby the spring element 21 is ineffective and unstressed.

[0030] Furthermore, the ventilation device 1 has Fig. 1in the rebate space 5 between the frame 3 and the sash 4 at least one frame opening 6, 7 for regulating the supply air flow 9 from the outside 8 and the exhaust air flow 11 from the interior 10. The surrounding body of the ventilation device 1 is formed by the air guide chamber 13, which forms a tightly enclosed space in which the volume flow limiter 14 is arranged. Within the air guide chamber 13, rotatably mounted according to Fig. 6 to Fig. 8 the ventilation flap 15, which acts as a closing element and enables opening and closing in the air guide chamber 13 by the air flow 9, 11.

[0031] By arranging at least one spring element 21, 22 on each wing 19, 20 of the ventilation flap 15 and a stable rotatable fastening of the rotation axis 16 on the lower housing half 23 of the air guide chamber 13 according to Fig. 7The ventilation flap 15 of the volume flow limiter 14 is positioned in the air guide chamber 13. Advantageously, the ventilation flap 15 allows a pivoting adjustment via the rotation axis 16 against the resistance of the corresponding spring constant of the spring elements 21, 22 relative to the respective sides 17, 18 of the vanes 19, 20. The separate application of the spring force to the respective vanes 19, 20 enables the determination of the spring constants on the individual vanes 19, 20 themselves. Due to the allocation of a first vane 19 for the supply air flow 9 according to Fig. 8 and a second wing 20 for the exhaust air flow 11 to Fig. 6The supply and exhaust air flows 9, 11 can be regulated uniformly or differently as required by the individually adjustable spring constant of the spring elements 21, 22 on the blades 19, 20. The supply and exhaust air flows 9, 11 can therefore be easily adjusted separately via the ventilation flap 15 of the volume flow limiter 14. Furthermore, the volume flows of the supply and exhaust air flows 9, 11 are regulated without changing the spring constant by the number of spring elements 21, 22 arranged on the individual blades 19, 20.

[0032] In the Fig. 2 As shown, the ventilation device 1 is arranged in the rebate space 5 in the longitudinal direction of the frame 3 and as shown in Fig. 1shown in a suggested manner to the sash frame 4. The rotation axis 16 and the ventilation flap 15 of the volume flow limiter 14 also extend in the longitudinal direction. Furthermore, the ventilation flap 15 is pivotally mounted in the air guide chamber 13 transversely to the longitudinal direction. Fig. 3 A round bearing pin 48 is arranged on both end faces of the ventilation flap 15, which pivotably suspended in a base body of the lower housing half 23 of the air guide chamber 13 forms the axis of rotation 16 of the ventilation flap 15. The ventilation flap 15 is thus adjustable between a horizontal basic position according to Fig. 7 and two swivel positions Fig. 6 and Fig. 8 freely movable, but held in place by the spring elements 21, 22.

[0033] The number of spring elements 21, 22 can be freely selected independently of the ventilation flap 15, whereby as in Fig. 3Two spring elements 21 and two spring elements 22 can be seen in the exemplary embodiment. Furthermore, the spring elements 21, 22 are Fig. 3 compared to the ventilation flap 15 are manufactured as separate components. The spring elements 21, 22 are also replaced, since they are Fig. 3 shown together with the lower housing half 23 of the volume flow limiter 14. Not shown, but also conceivable, is a separate production of the spring elements 21, 22 with a positive and / or non-positive fastening to the lower housing half 23. With automatic adjustment of the air flows 9, 11 by the volume flow limiter 14, the spring elements 21, 22 dampen the blades 19, 20 of the ventilation flap 15 to such an extent that rattling noises are reliably suppressed.

[0034] After Fig. 2 and Fig. 7The base body of the air guide chamber 13 is designed in two parts and consists of the lower and an upper housing half 23, 24, whereby the lower housing half 23 has the spring elements 21, 22 and a stop limit 25, 26 for the wings 19, 20 and in the rebate space 5 mounted state according to Fig. 2is assigned to the frame 3. The upper housing half 24 forms an enclosed space to accommodate the ventilation flap 15 and provides housing openings 27, 28 for the air flow direction. In the event of air pressure differences between the outer side 8 of the window or door 2 and the inner side 10 of the room, the air flows from the rebate space 5 through the gap of the housing openings 27, 28 between the ventilation flap 15 and the stop edge 46, 47 of the air guide chamber 13, as well as between the gap of the frame openings 6, 7 between the frame 3 and the sash 4 into the room interior 10 or to the outer side 8. In order for the fresh air of the supply air flow 9 to pass unhindered from the outer side 8 into the rebate space 5 and the exhaust air flow 11 to pass without resistance from the inner side 10 to the outer side 8, in the area of the vertical sides of the window rebate area 42, 43 Fig. 1 the frame openings 6, 7 were made as recesses in the outer stop seal (not shown).

[0035] The spring element 21, 22 is made of the same material as the lower housing half 23 of the housing 12. This allows the housing 12 and the resulting air guide chamber 13 to be manufactured from a plastic material. Alternatively, other materials can be used to manufacture the base body of the housing 12 and / or the spring elements 21, 22. A preferred material for the volume flow limiter 14 is also a plastic material.

[0036] With secure retention against falling out and pivotable suspension of the ventilation flap 15 on the pivot axis 16, as well as a perpendicular position to the pivot axis 16 due to the spring force of the spring elements 21, 22 on the respective sashes 19, 20 of the ventilation flap 15, it is possible to arrange the ventilation device 1 in a vertical position and thus in the vertically extending sections of a rebate space 5 of the window or door 2. This allows the ventilation device 1 to be mounted in any desired position between the frame 3 and the sash 4. List of reference symbols
