Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a plastering strip for arrangement at a building transition and to a building transition with such a plastering strip.
[0002] Plastering beads come in a wide variety of designs. They are particularly commonly used where a layer of plaster on the exterior surface of a building wall or the reveal of a window or door opening in a building ends, e.g., where thermal insulation applied to the exterior surface or reveal surface ends in the area of a window or door frame.
[0003] By using a plastering strip, it can be ensured that the plaster layer does not reach directly to the window frame or door frame, but that the decoupling plastering strip sits in between.
[0004] Such plastering beads often pose the problem of difficult installation. If such plastering beads are not secured properly or in the desired position during installation, sealing problems often arise later.
[0005] EP 1 655 440 A2 describes a profile strip for creating a transition between a component, in particular a frame part, and an adjacent surface of a building, in particular an upper plaster layer of a masonry or wall section or an insulating layer, wherein a joint is formed between the profile strip and the component. A cover strip is provided on the profile strip, which overlaps the joint between the profile strip and the component on the visible side, wherein the cover strip is fastened to the profile strip in a movable, in particular pivotable, manner, and wherein the cover strip can come into contact with the outside of the component with its free end in different positions, in particular at different pivot angles, depending on the distance between the profile strip and the component.
[0006] EP 2 952 649 A1 describes a plastering strip made of plastic or plastic composite material, to which a net-like reinforcing fabric section, in particular made of plastic and / or glass silk or glass fiber fabric, is fastened for embedding in or under a plaster layer, in particular a plaster layer on a thermal insulation of a building wall. The reinforcing fabric section is pivotably fastened to the plastering strip in such a way that it can be pivoted between a plastering position and a pivoting-away position.
[0007] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a plastering strip which allows precise and reliable positioning and fastening in the installation situation and with which a permanently and reliably sealed building transition can thus be provided.
[0008] Furthermore, a permanently and reliably sealed building transition with such a plastering strip should be provided.
[0009] These problems are solved by the subject matter of the independent patent claims. Advantageous further developments arise from the dependent patent claims.
[0010] A plastering strip according to the invention for arrangement at a building transition between a first building component, in particular a roller shutter guide rail, a slat guide rail, a window sill, a window or door frame, a pilaster strip or a beam, and a second building component, in particular a thermal insulation and / or a plaster layer on a building wall and / or a building wall, comprises the features specified in independent patent claim 1.
[0011] Due to the pivoting and removable fixing leg according to the invention, which is integrally connected to the base area via a connecting bridge, the strip can be easily positioned and fastened reliably and precisely at the building transition even in installation situations where there is little space for fastening.
[0012] The fixing leg can in particular be pivoted into a position between an end position directed forward perpendicular to the main extension direction of the base area, in which the fixing leg is directed in the direction of the thermal insulation and / or the plaster layer, and an end position directed rearward perpendicular to the main extension direction of the base area, in which the fixing leg projects backwards.
[0013] If the sealing strip is designed as a delayed expansion strip, the expansion direction of the expansion strip can also serve as a reference for forward / backward.
[0014] For example, the pivoting fixing leg can be pivoted or bent while remaining connected to the base section. With the fixing leg pivoted or bent backward, it can be secured to the outside of the first building component, for example, by gluing it to the outside. An adhesive strip can be provided on the underside of the fixing leg for this purpose. This installation situation requires the presence of a narrow gap outside the first building component—for example, between the outside of a window frame or a roller shutter guide rail and the wall opening into which the window frame or roller shutter guide rail is inserted.
[0015] The fixing leg can also be pivoted forward or bent over, but can remain connected to the base area and fixed to the second building component, for example, on the outside of the thermal insulation or glued to an end face within a gap in the thermal insulation, for example by means of an adhesive strip provided on the underside of the fixing leg.
[0016] In addition, in installation situations where there is no space for fastening or accommodating a fixing leg on the gap side of the base area, the fixing leg can also be easily separated by cutting the connecting bridge of the fixing leg, by means of which it is connected to the base area, lengthwise.
[0017] In this case, the plastering strip is attached to one of the two building components in another way, for example by means of an adhesive strip on the confinement area or by means of plastic screws for fixing to the thermal insulation, which are inserted into the thermal insulation through holes in the plastering leg.
[0018] A fixing leg designed according to the invention thus allows the plastering strip to be attached to the building transition in a way that is individually adapted to the respective installation situation.
[0019] This creates a reliable and permanently sealed building transition.
[0020] As the inventor of the present patent application recognized, the installation situation is particularly crucial for this, as the strip must be positioned in a precisely defined position between the two building components. After installation and plastering, the strip is held in position by the plaster layer.
[0021] The strip according to the invention can also be easily manufactured using automated processes. The strip body, including the base section, the plastering section, the fixing leg, the plastering leg (if present), the protective flap (if present), the locking section (if present), and the removable material strip (if present), is typically extruded.
[0022] The sealing strip, which can also be designed as an expansion strip as shown below, and, if present, the reinforcing mesh section are then attached to the base body of the strip.
[0023] The plastering area is located on the base area, more precisely, on the front side of the base area and, in particular, on the inner face of the front side of the base area. The plastering area can be located within the plastering leg, if present.
[0024] According to the invention, the fixing leg has a top side and a bottom side. The fixing leg can be designed and constructed for adhesive or clamping fixation in a gap between the first building component and the second building component.
[0025] According to the invention, the fixing leg has an adhesive strip which is attached to the underside of the fixing leg, in particular glued to the underside of the fixing leg.
[0026] By using such an adhesive strip in combination with the pivoting fixing leg, an individual and reliable fixing of the plastering strip for the installation process can be achieved in various ways, for example by gluing it to the front or outside of the first building component or by gluing it to the thermal insulation.
[0027] According to a further embodiment, the fixing leg is arranged at an outer end of the base region, remote from the plastering area. The pivotable and removable fixing leg can be arranged, in particular, on an outer wall of the base region that covers the outer side of the sealing strip, in particular at a lower end of this outer wall, and can be integrally connected to the outer wall of the base region via the connecting bridge.
[0028] According to a further embodiment, in the delivery state of the plastering strip, the fixing leg protrudes outwards, relative to the main extension direction of the base area and / or the first building component.
[0029] If, in the installation situation, there is still sufficient space on the front side of the first building component next to the base area at the end of which the fixing leg is attached, in particular in the gap between the first and the second building component, then the plastering strip can be attached to the first bag component by means of the fixing leg, in particular glued to it.
[0030] If there is insufficient space available, the fixing leg can be pivoted, depending on the space available during installation, and attached, in particular glued, to the exterior of the first building component or to the thermal insulation using the adhesive strip provided on the back of the fixing leg. If there is no space available for this either, the fixing leg can be severed along the connecting bridge and removed from the strip base body.
[0031] According to a further embodiment, the connecting bridge is made of the same plastic material as the base area and the fixing leg. The material thickness in the area of the connecting bridge can therefore be thinner than in the adjacent end pieces of the base area and the fixing leg, so that the fixing leg can be separated from the base body of the plastering strip by cutting the connecting bridge lengthwise.
[0032] Such a connecting bridge derives its flexibility from its reduced material thickness and can also be referred to as a film hinge. It can be easily extruded from the same material as the base body, enabling particularly cost-effective production.
[0033] According to a further embodiment, the connecting bridge comprises a plastic material that is softer than the material of the base body and / or the material of the fixing leg. The material thickness can be thinner in the area of the connecting bridge than in the adjacent end pieces of the base area and the fixing leg, so that the fixing leg can be separated from the base body of the plastering strip by cutting the connecting bridge lengthwise.
[0034] The material of the connecting bridge must be selected so that, on the one hand, it provides sufficient rigidity to hold the fixing leg in position relative to the base area of the plastering strip during delivery and installation, and, on the other hand, so that the fixing leg can be easily pivoted relative to the base area and separated if necessary, regardless of the prevailing temperatures. A risk of spiking, which arises because the plastic does not tear at the predetermined breaking point but leaves jagged edges, is avoided by such a soft connecting bridge.
[0035] According to a further embodiment, the material thickness in a central region of the connecting bridge is thinner than in the end pieces of the connecting bridge, with which the connecting bridge attaches to the adjacent end pieces of the base region and the fixing leg. The connecting bridge is designed, in particular, as a groove arranged, for example, from above in the connecting bridge. In practice, such a groove forms a predetermined bending point or a predetermined breaking or tearing point.
[0036] According to a further embodiment, the sealing strip is designed as an expansion strip, in particular as an expansion strip with delayed expansion, which expands rearward in particular after the release of a containment area.
[0037] According to a further embodiment, the base region comprises a base wall and an outer wall, which covers the outer side of the sealing strip. In particular, a step can be formed in the outer wall.
[0038] According to a further embodiment, a plastering leg protrudes forward from the front of the base area of the plastering strip. This can be arranged, in particular, at a mid-width position relative to the sealing strip. The plastering area can be formed by the inside of the plastering leg and by the front of the section of the base area located inside the plastering leg.
[0039] By means of such a plastering leg, the plastering strip can be positioned particularly precisely on the second building component, in particular the thermal insulation.
[0040] The inside of the plastering leg and the front of the section of the base area located inside the plastering leg can be provided with a groove profile for improved adhesion to the plaster.
[0041] A plastering bead with a plastering leg typically provides a particularly strong connection between the plastering bead and the two building components when installed. The plastering leg can have a projection direction that is perpendicular to the main extension direction of the base area and essentially opposite the expansion direction of an expansion strip, if present.
[0042] According to a further embodiment, a reinforcing mesh section is attached to the plastering leg, which extends forward in a direction parallel to the plastering leg and which is embedded in the plaster.
[0043] The reinforcement mesh section can be attached to the base body of the plastering bead, particularly to the plastering leg, by welding. Other fastening methods are possible, particularly gluing or clamping.
[0044] According to a further aspect of the invention, the plastering leg is designed to be pivotable to enable it to be attached to the second building component at different angles. The plastering leg, in particular the flexible rear transition area, can be designed to allow the rigid front leg section and, if applicable, the reinforcement mesh section arranged thereon to pivot within a range of + / - 60° relative to the forward projection direction.
[0045] The forward direction of movement is understood to be perpendicular to the main extension direction of the base area and, if present, in the same direction but opposite to the expansion direction of the expansion strip with delayed expansion.
[0046] The pivoting design of the plastering leg also enables the use of the plastering strip according to the invention for installation situations in which there are no right angles between the front of the first building component and the outside of the thermal insulation, and which are actually becoming more and more common in practice.
[0047] When the terminal strip is installed, the rigid front leg section can extend along a surface of the thermal insulation and be connected to it by filling or plastering.
[0048] The aspect "plastering strip with pivoting plastering leg" can be realized with or without the aspect "plastering strip with pivoting and / or removable fixing leg".
[0049] Even if no independent patent claim is directed to the embodiment "plastering strip with pivotable plastering leg, but without pivotable and / or removable fixing leg", the applicant expressly reserves the right to direct an independent patent claim to such a solution, for example by way of a divisional application, both for a plastering strip and for a building transition with such a plastering strip.
[0050] An independent claim for such a plastering strip is as follows.
[0051] Plastering strip for arrangement at a building transition between a first building component, in particular a roller shutter guide rail, a slat guide rail, a window sill, a window or door frame, a pilaster strip or a beam, and a second building component, in particular a thermal insulation and / or a plaster layer on a building wall and / or a building wall; comprising: a base region, wherein a sealing strip is arranged on the rear side of the base region, and wherein a plastering region is arranged on the front side of the base region; wherein a plastering leg projects forwards on the front side of the base region of the plastering strip; wherein a reinforcing mesh section is fastened to the plastering leg, which extends forwards in a direction parallel to the plastering leg and which is embedded in the plaster; wherein the plastering leg is designed to be pivotable in order to enable it to be attached to the second building component at different angles; and wherein the plastering leg, in particular the flexible, rear transition region, is designed in particular such that it allows the rigid, front leg section and, if applicable, the reinforcing mesh section arranged thereon to be pivoted within a range of + / - 60°, relative to the forward projection direction.
[0052] This can be supplemented by dependent claims which include the features of the present claims 11 and 12 and are directed to embodiments of the pivotable plastering leg, as well as by features relating to the pivotable and / or removable fixing leg according to claim 1 and by the features according to claims 2-9.
[0053] According to a further embodiment, the plastering leg has a flexible rear transition region and a rigid front leg section. The flexible rear transition region can extend between the rear end of the rigid front leg section and the base region, in particular the base wall of the base region.
[0054] This represents a particularly practical embodiment, which allows the plastering bead according to the invention to be adjusted to the angular situation at the building transition between the front of the front area of the base wall located outside the plastering leg and the outside of the plastering leg. In an alternative embodiment, the flexible transition area can also be formed in an intermediate piece of the plastering leg.
[0055] According to a further embodiment, the flexible rear transition region is designed as a film hinge. Alternatively, the flexible rear transition region is designed as a connecting bridge made of a plastic material, in particular a thermoplastic elastomer, that is softer than the material of the rigid front leg section and / or the base region.
[0056] The material thickness in the area of the connecting bridge can be lower than in the adjacent rigid, front leg section.
[0057] The material thickness of the connecting bridge may be less in its middle section than in its end sections, with which the connecting bridge adjoins the rear end of the rigid, front leg section and the base area, in particular the base wall.
[0058] When designed as a film hinge, the flexible, rear transition area of the plastering leg consists of the same basic material as the plastering leg and the base area itself, but is designed so thin that a break-free pivoting between the rigid, front leg section and the base area, in particular the base wall of the base area, is possible.
[0059] If the flexible, rear transition area is designed as a connecting bridge made of softer plastic material, this material must be selected so that it gives the connecting bridge sufficient rigidity so that the plastering leg is held in position relative to the base body of the strip during delivery, assembly and plastering, in particular rests on the outside of the second building component / thermal insulation, and that at the same time, regardless of the prevailing temperatures, the plastering leg can be pivoted relative to the base area of the strip.
[0060] The risk of spiking, which occurs because the plastic does not break at the predetermined breaking point but leaves jagged edges, is avoided by such a soft connecting bridge.
[0061] According to a further embodiment, a strip-shaped protective tab is also provided, to which a protective film for the first building component can be attached.
[0062] According to a further embodiment, the strip-shaped protective tab is connected to the base body via a break-off material bridge or via a connecting bridge which has a plastic material that is softer than the material of the base body.
[0063] According to a further embodiment, the strip-shaped protective tab has a spacer web on its rear side, in particular on the inner end of its rear side.
[0064] According to a further embodiment, the containment area comprises a removable strip of material.
[0065] According to a further embodiment, the removable material strip is locked with a locking projection, which is provided in particular on the inside of the outer wall of the base region.
[0066] According to a further embodiment, the removable material strip is connected via a connecting bridge to the underside of the base region, in particular to the inner end of the underside of the base region and / or to the strip-shaped protective tab.
[0067] According to a further embodiment, the connecting bridge comprises a plastic material that is softer than the material of the base body and / or the material of the strip-shaped protective tab.
[0068] According to a further embodiment, the removable material strip has a gripping section projecting inwards beyond the base region, by means of which the removable material strip can be removed from the remaining base body of the plastering strip.
[0069] According to a further embodiment, the removable material strip has a stepped course; and the step is arranged at the inner end of the underside of the base region.
[0070] According to a further embodiment, the gripping section, seen from the front, is covered by the strip-shaped protective tab.
[0071] The invention also relates to a building transition having the features of claim 13.
[0072] The pivotable fixing leg makes it possible, in particular, to achieve a fixing along a fixing plane relative to the first or second building component, which is perpendicular to the main extension direction of the base area, which was not possible until now.
[0073] In particular, a reliably sealed building transition is created in which, beyond the base area in the gap between the first and second building components, there is no front area of the first building component available to which bonding or fastening would be possible.
[0074] For further advantages and embodiments, reference is made to the advantages and embodiments stated with reference to the plastering strip, which are not repeated here.
[0075] The invention also relates to a building transition having the features of claim 14.
[0076] It is hereby expressly emphasized that a connection strip for such a building transition can, but does not have to, have a pivoting and / or removable fixing leg.
[0077] An independent claim for such a building transition is as follows: A building transition comprising a first building component, in particular a roller shutter guide rail, a slat guide rail, a window sill, a window or door frame, a pilaster strip, a beam, or a base; a second building component, in particular thermal insulation or a layer of plaster on thermal insulation or on a building wall; wherein the front side of the first building component and the outer side of the second building component to be plastered or plastered enclose an angle of not equal to 90°, in particular an angle greater than 90°, e.g., from 91° to 160°;and a plastering strip which is arranged between or on the first building component and the second building component, and in particular is arranged in a gap between the first building component and the second building component, and has the following features: a base region, wherein a sealing strip is arranged on the rear side of the base region, and wherein a plastering region is arranged on the front side of the base region; wherein a plastering leg projects forwardly on the front side of the base region of the plastering strip; wherein a reinforcing fabric section is fastened to the plastering leg, which extends forwardly in a direction parallel to the plastering leg, and wherein the plastering leg is designed to be pivotable in order to enable it to be applied to the second building component at different angles;and wherein the plastering leg, in particular the flexible, rear transition region, is designed in particular such that it allows pivoting of the rigid, front leg section and, if applicable, the reinforcing mesh section arranged thereon within a range of + / - 60°, relative to the forward projection direction; wherein the base region of the plastering bead is arranged in front of the first building component and the sealing strip rests against the front of the first building component or the expansion strip, if applicable after removal of a containment region, has expanded and rests against the front of the first building component; wherein the pivotable plastering leg is pivoted relative to the base region such that its outer side rests on the second building component, in particular on the thermal insulation or the building wall;and / or wherein a layer of plaster is applied to the thermal insulation or the building wall, extending to the plastering area of the plastering strip. ;
[0078] This creates a reliably and permanently sealed building transition, with no right angles between the front of the first building component and the plastered or plastered exterior of the second building component. Until now, there have been no satisfactory solutions for reliably and permanently sealing such building transitions.
[0079] Typical installation situations are as follows.
[0080] The first building component of the building transition can be a roller shutter guide rail, a slat guide rail, a window sill, a window or door frame and the second building component can be a light wedge-shaped thermal insulation or a light wedge-shaped wall with a sloping flank.
[0081] The first building component of the building transition can be a sloping base, and the second building component can be thermal insulation or a layer of plaster on thermal insulation or on a building wall.
[0082] The applicant expressly reserves the right to make an independent claim relating to a building transition to one or both of such installation situations.
[0083] A plastering strip according to the invention can also combine both aspects of the invention "pivoting and / or detachable fixing leg" and "pivoting plastering leg".
[0084] According to a further embodiment of the invention, such a building transition can thus combine the installation situations of "fixing the strip by means of the pivotable fixing leg along a fixing surface oriented perpendicular to the main extension direction of the base region, for example, when there is no space in the gap next to the base region and the sealing strip for fixing the plastering strip relative to the front of the first building component," and "reliable and permanent sealing of building transition situations where there is no right angle, but in particular an obtuse angle, between the front of the first building component and the outer side of the thermal insulation." Until now, no satisfactory solutions have been available for this.
[0085] The applicant expressly reserves the right to make an independent claim for a building transition that claims both installation situations, in particular a combination of the features of claims 13 and 14.
[0086] The invention is explained in more detail below using exemplary embodiments with reference to the accompanying figures.

[0089] Figure 3shows a horizontal section through a building transition with a roller shutter guide rail as the first building component and with thermal insulation as the second building component and with a plastering strip arranged in a gap between them according to Figure 1 in a second fastening situation, according to a further embodiment of the present invention;
[0090] Figure 4 shows a horizontal section through a building transition between a first building component designed as a window frame and a second building component designed as thermal insulation, with a slanted light wedge flank, and with a plastering strip arranged in a gap between them according to Figure 1 , according to a further embodiment of the present invention; and
[0091] Figure 5shows a vertical section through a building transition between a first building component designed as a sloping base and a second building component designed as thermal insulation, with a plastering strip arranged in a gap between them according to Figure 1 , according to another embodiment of the present invention.
[0092] Figure 1 shows a side view of a plastering strip 2 according to a first embodiment of the present invention in the delivery state.
[0093] The plastering strip 2 is intended for arrangement at a building transition between a first building component, which can be designed as a roller shutter guide rail, as a slat guide rail, as a window sill, as a window or door frame, as a pilaster strip, as a beam or as a base, and a second building component, which can be designed as thermal insulation and / or as a plaster layer on a building wall.
[0094] Typical installation situations of the plastering strip 2 are shown in the Figures 2 to 5 shown
[0095] In the Figure 1 The terms front and back are understood as being above and below in the drawing plane. The terms inside / left and outside / right are understood as being on the left and right in the drawing plane.
[0096] The plastering strip 2 has a base area 4 with an expansion strip 20 attached thereto, a pivotable and / or removable fixing leg 8, a plastering leg 10 with a reinforcement mesh section 12 attached thereto, a plastering area 16, a strip-shaped protective tab 28 and a locking area with a removable material strip 36.
[0097] The base region 4 comprises a base wall 6 extending from left to right and a right outer wall 34 in which a step is formed and at the lower end of which a leftward, i.e., inwardly directed locking projection 26 is arranged for the removable material strip 36. A pivotable and / or removable fixing leg 8 is attached to the lower end of the right outer side of the outer wall 34 via a material bridge of reduced material thickness 18 / via a groove 18 and is integrally connected to the base wall 6.
[0098] Approximately at a width position halfway across the entire width of the base wall 6, a plastering leg 10 is provided, which projects forward at a right angle from the base wall 6. The inner side of the plastering leg 10 and the upper side of the section of the base wall 6 located inside the plastering leg 10 form the plastering area 16. A grooved surface profile is provided there, which enlarges the surface against which a plaster layer to be applied rests, thus improving the adhesion of the plaster.
[0099] A reinforcing mesh section 12, which may be formed as a net-like glass silk fabric, is attached to the plaster leg 10. In the present, non-limiting embodiment, the reinforcing mesh section 12 is attached to the inside of the plaster leg 10 by means of ultrasonic welding.
[0100] A connector projection 25 is arranged a short distance inward from the plastering leg 10, projecting forward from the base wall 6. A receiving space for a connector is formed between the connector projection 25 and the plastering leg 10, particularly its transition area 24. Such a connector allows plastering strips 2 to be reliably positioned next to one another.
[0101] An expansion strip 20 with delayed expansion is provided on the back of the base wall 6 and is particularly attached, e.g. glued, to the underside of the base wall 6.
[0102] In the present non-limiting embodiment, the expansion strip 20 is received in a groove-like receiving area which is bounded on the left by a vertical boundary wall of the removable material strip 36 and on the right by the outer wall 34 which starts at the outer right end of the base wall 6 and extends rearwardly therefrom at right angles.
[0103] The upper side of the section of the base wall 6 located to the right of the plastering leg 10 and the right outer side of the plastering leg 10 form a receiving area for thermal insulation or for a base plaster layer.
[0104] The expansion strip 20 is held in its locked state by the locking region. In the present non-limiting embodiment, this locking region comprises a removable material strip 36, which is locked at its right outer end above the locking projection 26 and which, at its left end, merges into the vertical boundary wall, which, at its upper end, attaches to the soft material bridge 30 connecting the left inner end of the base wall 6 to the strip-shaped protective tab 28.
[0105] A gripping section 40 extends inward from a central region of this vertical boundary wall. This gripping section 40 is provided with a roughened portion at its left inner end for improved gripping.
[0106] The removable material strip 36 extends parallel to the base wall 6 and holds the expansion strip 20, together with the left vertical boundary wall, reliably in its confined state.
[0107] The strip-shaped protective flap 28 extends inwards from the left, inner end of the base wall 6 and is connected to this end via a material bridge 30, which can be designed either as a soft material bridge or as a break-away material bridge.
[0108] At the rear of its inner end, the strip-shaped protective flap 28 has a spacer 32, which initially rests against the front of the first building component when the plastering strip 2 is installed at a building transition. An adhesive strip can be arranged on the front of the strip-shaped protective flap, to which a protective film can be attached. This film spans the first building component and thus protects it from damage and dirt during the installation and plastering process.
[0109] In the present embodiment, the gripping section 40 of the locking area 34 is covered by the strip-shaped protective tab 28 when viewed from the front.
[0110] In the present non-limiting embodiment, the material bridge 30 between the left inner end of the base wall 6 and the outer end of the strip-shaped protective tab 28 and the material bridge between the upper end of the inner, vertical boundary wall of the removable material strip 36 to the left end of the base wall 6 is designed as a common material bridge 30.
[0111] As a result, the strip-shaped protective tab 28 can be removed from the base wall 6 by severing the material bridge 30, and simultaneously or subsequently, the material bridge 30 can be severed to the left, vertical boundary wall of the removable material strip 36, for example by pulling out the gripping section 40 and thus the locking area, optionally assisted by a pivoting movement.
[0112] At this point, it should be mentioned that separate material bridges can also be provided between the strip-shaped protective tab 28 and the base wall 6, as well as between the containment area and the base wall 6. It is also possible to provide only one material bridge between the strip-shaped protective tab 28 and the base wall 6, and not to connect the containment area to the rest of the plastering strip with a material bridge, but rather to provide only a second snap-in connection between the containment area and the base wall 6, or to allow the containment area to rest or be glued to any desired location on the remaining plastering strip.
[0113] Finally, instead of providing the strip-shaped protective flap 28 and the containment area separately, both parts can also be provided in one. This can be particularly well imagined if one looks at Figure 1the gripping section 40 is omitted and the material bridge is imagined as an integral connection of the same material from the strip-shaped protective tab 28 to the base wall 6 and to the removable material strip 36.
[0114] In the present, non-limiting embodiment, the fixing leg 8 is connected to the lower end of the outer wall 34 of the base region 4 by means of a so-called film hinge, ie by means of a connecting bridge made of the same material as the base region 4 and the fixing leg 8, but of reduced material thickness.
[0115] This allows a break-free pivoting of the fixing leg 8 between a fully upwards directed end position, as in Figure 3 shown, and a completely downwards end position, as in Figure 2 shown.
[0116] By means of the adhesive strip 22 provided on the underside of the fixing leg 8, the fixing leg 8 and thus the entire plastering strip 2 can be fixed to the first building component, in particular to the front side, as shown in the Figures 3 and 4 shown, or on the outside, as in Figure 2 shown, or on the thermal insulation, as in Figure 3 shown, attached.
[0117] The plastering leg 10 is integrally connected at its lower end to the upper side of the base wall 6 by means of a flexible, rear transition region 24. As an alternative to the design as a film hinge, the material bridge 18 between the outer wall 34 of the base region 4 and the fixing leg 8 can also be designed as a soft connecting bridge, i.e., as a material section made of a plastic material that is softer than the materials of the base region 4, in particular the base wall 6 and the fixing leg 8, for example, a thermoplastic elastomer.
[0118] The region of the plaster leg 10 which is attached to the front end of the flexible, rear transition region 24 is designed as a rigid, front leg section and is made in particular from the same plastic material as the base wall 6, in particular extruded with it.
[0119] The flexible, rear transition area 24 of the plastering leg 10 allows pivoting of the rigid, front pivot section and the reinforcement mesh section arranged thereon in a range of + / - 60°, relative to the forward projection direction, which runs vertically from bottom to top through the plane of the drawing.
[0120] As an alternative to the design of the flexible, rear transition region 24 as a soft material bridge, it can also be designed as a film hinge.
[0121] By means of the pivoting plastering leg 10, the attachment of the plastering strip 2 and a permanent and reliable sealing of building transitions is possible, where there is no right angle between the front of the first building component and the inward-facing outer side of a thermal insulation, as is the case with reference to the Figures 4 and 5 shown and explained.
[0122] In the Figure 2 In the building transition 44 shown, a building wall 46 forms the left end of a window opening into which a window frame 48 is inserted. The roller shutter guide rail 50 is arranged in front of the window frame 48.
[0123] The thermal insulation 56 is attached to the outside of the building wall 46 by means of a filler 48, which extends to a width position that lies slightly inside the window opening and covers the left outer end of the roller shutter guide rail 50 as seen from the front.
[0124] The terms front and back are used in relation to the building's exterior and interior directions, so that in the Figures 2 and 3 rear is understood as directed backwards and front as directed forwards. The terms inside and outside are understood with reference to the first building component, namely the roller shutter guide rail 50, so that outside in the Figures 2 to 3 is understood as pointing to the left in the drawing plane and inside as pointing to the right in the drawing plane, i.e. towards the opposite side of the window opening.
[0125] The building transition of the Figures 2 to 3 is obtained by first inserting a window frame 48 into a window opening which is delimited on the outside by building wall areas 46 and then fastening this frame in the window opening in the usual way.
[0126] The roller shutter guide rail 50 is then positioned from the front onto the window frame 48 and also fastened in a known, conventional manner.
[0127] Then the plastering strip 2 is attached, as described in more detail below.
[0128] Finally, the thermal insulation 56 is placed on top and fixed to the outside of the building wall 46 using the filler 58.
[0129] When the thermal insulation 56 is designed with a step, as shown in the Figures 2 and 3 As shown, the roller shutter guide rail 50 is first attached, then the plastering strip 2 is attached and finally the thermal insulation 56 is applied or Figure 3 first the application of the thermal insulation 56 and then the attachment of the plastering strip 2.
[0130] According to the Figures 2 and 3 is the plastering strip 2, which with reference to the Figure 1has been described in detail, positioned relative to the roller shutter guide rail 50 such that the fixing leg 8 has been bent all the way back so that it is oriented parallel to the outer side 54 of the roller shutter guide rail 50, and that the plastering strip 2 rests with the spacer web 32 of the strip-shaped protective tab 28 and / or with the underside of the gripping section 40 of the locking area 34 on the front side of the roller shutter guide rail 50.
[0131] If an adhesive strip 22 is present on the underside of the fixing leg 8, as in the embodiment of the Figures 2 and 3If this is the case, the plastering strip 2 is glued to the outer side 54 of the roller shutter guide rail 50 by means of this adhesive strip 22. The thermal insulation 56 is / is attached to the front of the building wall 46 in such a way that its inner side, in front of the step, rests against the outer side of the plastering leg 10, that the front side of its step rests against the rear of the base wall 6, in particular against the section of the base wall 6 located outside of the plastering leg 10, and that the inward-facing side of the step is arranged at a distance from the outer side 54 of the roller shutter guide rail 50. The thermal insulation 56 can be attached to the outside of the building wall 46 by means of filler 58 or PU foam, and / or by means of a mechanical fastening, such as dowels.
[0132] The front surface of the roller shutter guide rail 50 can be covered by a film that can be glued to the front side of the strip-shaped protective flap 28 and extends to the Figures 2 to 3 not shown, opposite plastering strip and in particular the front of the strip-shaped protective tab of the opposite plastering strip.
[0133] The plaster layer 60 is then applied, penetrating the reinforcement mesh section 12 and bonding it to the inside of the thermal insulation 56. The plaster layer 60 can be applied up to a pull-off edge formed by the inner end of the base wall 6. After the plaster layer 60 has been applied and, if necessary, allowed to harden, the strip-shaped protective tab 28 and the containment area can be removed by pulling inward and, if necessary, pivoting forward, thereby separating the material bridge 30, thus transferring the expansion strip 20 to its release state.
[0134] In the installation situation according to Figure 2It is clearly visible that there is no space on the front side 52 of the roller shutter guide rail 50, to the left of the expansion strip 20, for attaching the plastering strip 2 for installation. Therefore, the fixing leg 8 is bent backward and, using its adhesive strip 22, engages behind the roller shutter guide rail 50, secured to the outer side 54 of the roller shutter guide rail 50, so that the plastering strip 2 is reliably secured and held in position relative to the building transition 44 during installation.
[0135] The installation situation at the building transition 44 in Figure 3 essentially corresponds to the installation situation from Figure 2 , and like elements are designated by the same reference numerals.
[0136] In contrast to the installation situation of the Figure 2 is in Figure 3the gap between the inward-facing side of the thermal insulation step 56 and the outer side 54 of the roller shutter guide rail 50 is slightly narrower than in Figure 2 .
[0137] The plastering strip 2 is at the building transition 44 according to Figure 3 in the installation situation, it is fastened opposite the inward-facing side of the thermal insulation step 56 by pivoting the fixing leg 8 forward and gluing it with its adhesive strip 22 opposite the inward-facing side of the thermal insulation step 56.
[0138] Even in the installation situation according to Figure 3 There is not enough space on the front side 52 of the roller shutter guide rail 52 next to the expansion strip 20 of the plastering strip 2 to fasten the plastering strip 2 for the installation process.
[0139] By pivoting the fixing leg 8 forward and by gluing it opposite the inward-facing side of the thermal insulation step 56, a reliable fastening of the plastering strip 2 to the building transition 44 for the installation process can still be ensured.
[0140] In the Figure 4 The building transition 64 shown is a building transition between a window or door frame 48 inserted into a window or door opening within a building wall 46 and a thermal insulation 66 attached to the outside of the building's outer wall 46, with a light wedge-like sloping wall or with a sloping flank 68, and a plastering strip 2 inserted in a gap between the front of the window or door frame 48 and the back of the thermal insulation 66.
[0141] The front of the window or door frame 48 and the sloping flank of the thermal insulation 66 form an obtuse angle of greater than 90°, which in the present non-limiting embodiment is approximately 135°. This allows the incidence of light entering the building through the window or—in the case of a transparent design—through the door to be increased, thus increasing the brightness within the building.
[0142] The thermal insulation 66 overlaps the outer end of the window or door frame 48.
[0143] The building transition of the Figure 4is obtained by first inserting a window or door frame 48 into a window or door opening that is bounded on the outside by building wall areas 46, and then securing it in the window or door opening in the usual way. The thermal insulation 46 is then placed onto the building wall 46 from the front and secured thereto using filler 58, specifically in such a way that the outer edge of the sloping flank 68 overlaps the outer edge of the window or door frame 48, and that a gap is created between the back of the thermal insulation 66 and the front 52 of the window or door frame 48. The plastering strip 2 is inserted into this gap.
[0144] Since there is still enough space on the front side 52 of the window or door frame 48 next to the expansion strip 20 in the installation situation for an adhesive attachment of the fixing leg 8, this does not have to be folded over, as in the Figures 2 and 3shown, but can remain in its orientation in the main extension direction of the base region 4 and be glued with its adhesive strip 22 to the front side 52 of the window or door frame 48.
[0145] In an embodiment not shown, the fixing leg 8 can be folded backwards and glued to an outer side of the window or door frame 48, analogously Figure 2 .
[0146] In a further embodiment not shown, the fixing leg 8 can be bent forward and glued to a front side of the thermal insulation, analogously Figure 3 .
[0147] The plastering leg 10 with the reinforcement mesh section 12 attached to it has been pivoted outwards so that the plastering leg 10 rests with its outer side on the sloping flank 68 of the thermal insulation 66 and the reinforcement mesh section extends over this sloping flank 68.
[0148] A film can now be attached to the protective flap 28, which spans the window or door frame 48 with the window or door and protects it from damage and dirt during plastering. The plaster layer 60 is then applied, penetrating the reinforcing mesh section 12 and bonding it to the sloping flank 68 of the thermal insulation 66. The plaster layer 60 can be applied up to a pull-off edge formed by the inner end of the base wall 6. After the plaster layer 60 has been applied and, if necessary, allowed to harden, the strip-shaped protective flap 28 and the containment area can be removed by pulling inward and, if necessary, pivoting forward, thereby separating the material bridge 30. The expansion strip 20 is thus transferred to its release state.
[0149] According to the invention, a reliably sealed and decoupled building transition 64 is thus created, in which an obtuse angle is present between the front side of the first building component 48 and the outside of the second building component 66.
[0150] In the Figure 5 In the building transition 70 shown, the first building component is a sloping base 72 with an upper sloping base surface 74, and the second building component is thermal insulation 76 that has been applied externally to a building wall 46. The thermal insulation 76 has in turn been connected to the building's outer wall 46 in a suitable manner, e.g., by means of filler. The sloping base 72 forms a lower building termination to the ground and comprises a vertical outer wall and an upper end section that projects diagonally inwards and is received in a corresponding receptacle of a thermal insulation 76 and forms a sloping upper base surface 74.
[0151] In the present, non-limiting embodiment, this sloping upper base surface 74 is inclined by approximately 20° relative to a horizontal plane. At the top of the sloping upper base surface 74, there is a gap to a corresponding counter-surface of the thermal insulation 76. The plastering bead 2 is positioned in this gap by gluing the fixing leg 8 to the sloping upper base surface 74 using the adhesive strip 22. The fixing leg 8 protrudes outward from the base region 4, relative to the main extension direction of the base region 4, and is not bent backward or forward. This is because, in the installed situation, there is sufficient space in the gap beyond the expansion strip 20 for adhesive fixation to the top of the sloping upper base surface 74.
[0152] Alternatively, one can easily imagine that, if the sloping upper base surface 74 is designed to be shorter and if there is a gap behind it, the fixing leg 8 can be bent downwards and can be glued with its adhesive strip 22 to the outside of such an sloping upper base surface 74, engaging behind it, or that, if the gap between the sloping upper base surface 74 and the counter surface of the thermal insulation 76 is designed to be shorter, it is also possible to fasten it to the end face of the thermal insulation 76 that limits the depth of the gap by bending the fixing leg 8 upwards and fastening it to this end face with its adhesive strip 22.
[0153] In the present, purely exemplary embodiment, the angle between the sloping upper base surface 74 and the vertical outer side of the thermal insulation 76 is approximately 110°. To adapt the plastering bead 2 to this angular situation, the plastering leg 10 is pivoted so that its left outer side rests flatly on the outer side of the thermal insulation 76, and the reinforcing mesh section 12 is positioned in extension of the same and runs parallel to the outer side of the thermal insulation 76.
[0154] The plaster layer 60 is then applied, penetrating the reinforcement mesh section 12 and bonding it to the outer side of the thermal insulation 76. The plaster layer 60 can again be applied up to a pull-off edge formed by the inner end of the base wall 6. After the plaster layer 60 has been applied and, if necessary, allowed to harden, the strip-shaped protective flap 28 and the containment area can be removed by pulling inward and, if necessary, pivoting forward, thereby separating the material bridge 30, thus transferring the expansion strip 20 to its release state.
