Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a motor vehicle seat for a motor vehicle having the features of the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] In order for occupants of a three-door motor vehicle to access a second row of seats, or in a five-door motor vehicle to access a third row of seats, it is regularly necessary that a motor vehicle seat be adjustable from a position of use in which an occupant can sit on the motor vehicle seat to an entry position in which a space is freed between the motor vehicle seat and a rear edge of a door opening of the motor vehicle, which allows access to the second or third row of seats.
[0003] A motor vehicle seat that enables such an adjustment movement is known, for example, from DE 10 2004 047 250 A1 and comprises a seat structure and a device for adjusting the motor vehicle seat. The device for adjusting the motor vehicle seat has a plurality of four-bar linkages which are connected to the seat structure for adjusting it.
[0004] The motor vehicle seat described in DE 10 2004 047 250 A1 requires a motor vehicle seat adjustment device, comprising a multitude of four-bar linkages, to adjust the seat structure between the operating position and the entry position. The motor vehicle seat adjustment device is therefore structurally complex.
[0005] From US patent 4,925,228 A, a motor vehicle seat is known. This seat structure comprises a seat element and a backrest, wherein the seat structure is adjustable from a service position, in which the seat element extends approximately horizontally, through an intermediate position to an entry position, in which the seat element is inclined from the horizontal. Furthermore, the motor vehicle seat has a guide mechanism by means of which the seat structure can be guided such that the seat structure is movable forwards and upwards from the service position to the intermediate position and is rotatably movable from the intermediate position to the entry position.
[0006] WO 2021 / 021162 A1 describes a vehicle seat with laterally arranged guide rails.
[0007] A vehicle seat with a curtain track is also known from DE 10 2013 006485 A1.
[0008] The object of the present invention is to provide a motor vehicle seat which can be adjusted between a usage position and an entry position by means of a simple construction.
[0009] This problem is solved by the motor vehicle seat with the features of claim 1.
[0010] According to the invention, a motor vehicle seat is provided, comprising a seat structure with a seat element and a backrest, and a guide rail. The seat structure is adjustable from a service position, in which the seat element extends approximately horizontally and is capable of accommodating an occupant, via an intermediate position to an entry position, and vice versa. In the intermediate position, the seat element is shifted forward from the service position in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle seat. In the entry position, the seat element is inclined from the horizontal about an axis of rotation extending in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle seat, in particular forwards. This creates space behind the motor vehicle seat, in particular between the motor vehicle seat and the rear edge of a door opening. This allows the occupant to access a space located behind the vehicle seat. This space may contain, for example, another vehicle seat in a rear row. Using the cam mechanism, the seat structure can be moved translationally from its operating position to an intermediate position. From the intermediate position to the entry position, the cam mechanism allows the seat structure to rotate.
[0011] The core idea of the invention is therefore to provide the motor vehicle seat with a guide mechanism designed such that, in a range from the operating position to the intermediate position (excluding the intermediate position itself), it allows purely translational movement of the seat structure, and in a range from the intermediate position to the entry position, it allows purely rotational movement of the seat structure. The rotational movement can thus be enabled by means of the translational movement. This makes adjusting the seat structure between the operating position and the entry position structurally simple.
[0012] According to the invention, the guide mechanism comprises a first guide track and a first guide pin. The first guide track extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. The first guide pin extends in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat. The first guide pin is slidably guided in the first guide track in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0013] The first guide pin is, for example, rigidly connected to the seat structure, in particular the seat element, and extends outwards in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat, i.e., away from the seat element. The first guide track is, for example, fixed to the vehicle body. In particular, the first guide track is, for example, rigidly connected to the floor of the vehicle and / or the guide rail of the vehicle seat.
[0014] Alternatively, the first guide pin can be fixed to the vehicle body. In particular, the first guide pin can be rigidly connected to the vehicle floor and / or the guide rail of the vehicle seat. The first guide pin can extend inwards in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat, i.e., towards the seat structure, especially towards the seat element. The first guide track can be formed in the seat structure, particularly in the seat element.
[0015] According to the invention, the guide mechanism comprises a second guide track and a second guide pin. The second guide track comprises a straight section extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat and a curved, in particular arc-shaped, circular arc section. The arc section is arranged in front of and adjacent to the straight section in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. The straight section thus transitions into the arc section. The second guide pin is slidably guided in the second guide track. In particular, the second guide pin is slidably guided in the straight section of the second guide track in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. In the arc section of the second guide track, the second guide pin is slidably guided, in particular, in the longitudinal direction and in the vertical direction of the vehicle seat.
[0016] The second guide pin is, for example, rigidly connected to the seat structure, in particular the seat element, and extends outwards in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat, i.e., away from the seat element. The second guide track is, for example, fixed to the vehicle body. In particular, the second guide track is, for example, rigidly connected to the floor of the vehicle and / or the guide rail of the vehicle seat.
[0017] Alternatively, the second guide pin can be fixed to the vehicle body. In particular, the second guide pin can be rigidly connected to the vehicle floor and / or the guide rail of the vehicle seat. The second guide pin can extend inwards in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat, i.e., towards the seat structure, especially towards the seat element. The first guide track can be formed within the seat structure, particularly within the seat element. Starting from the operating position, the seat structure is initially transversely displaceable forward in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat due to the straight design of the straight section of the second guide track. As soon as the second guide pin reaches the front end of the straight section and enters the arc section, the seat structure is rotated about an axis of rotation extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat.
[0018] The arc section of the second guide track can extend upwards from the straight section in the vertical direction of the vehicle seat and forwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0019] The first guide track or guide pin is, for example, located in a side element of a motor vehicle seat structure mount.
[0020] The second guide track or guide pin is, for example, located in the side element of the vehicle seat structure mount.
[0021] The side element can be arranged laterally to the seat structure in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle seat, in particular laterally to the seat element.
[0022] The side element can extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0023] The first guide pin or guide track is, for example, fixed or formed laterally on the seat structure, in particular laterally on the seat element.
[0024] The second guide pin or guide track is, for example, fixed or arranged laterally on the seat structure, in particular laterally on the seat element.
[0025] The first guide vane can be positioned in front of the second guide vane in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0026] In a preferred embodiment of the motor vehicle seat according to the invention, the first guide pin forms the axis of rotation extending in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle seat, about which the seat structure can be pivoted when the second guide pin is arranged in the circular arc section of the second guide track.
[0027] In this case, the first guide pin can rest against a front end of the first guide track in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0028] The first guide pin can therefore form a circular center point of the arc segment of the second guide track if the second guide pin is located in the arc segment of the second guide track and / or if the first guide pin rests against a front end of the first guide track in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0029] In a preferred embodiment, the vehicle seat according to the invention comprises a locking arrangement for securing the seat structure in the operating position, in particular against rotation. The locking arrangement comprises a locking bolt and a recess. The locking bolt is arranged in the recess in the operating position. The recess is open on one side in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat, so that the locking bolt can be removed from the recess when the seat structure is moved from the operating position to the entry position. This allows the vehicle seat to be rotated, so that the vehicle seat can be pivoted into the operating position.
[0030] The locking bolt can be located laterally on the seat structure, particularly on the seat element, and extend outwards in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat, i.e., away from the seat structure. The recess can be formed in the side element and open forwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0031] Thus, the locking bolt can be arranged in the recess in the operating position and outside the recess in the entry position, in particular in front of the recess in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle seat.
[0032] Alternatively, the locking bolt can be arranged laterally on the side element and extend inwards in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat, i.e., towards the seat structure. The recess can be formed on the seat structure, in particular on the seat element, and open to the rear in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0033] Therefore, in the operating position, the locking bolt can be arranged, for example, in the recess, while in the entry position it is arranged outside the recess, in particular behind the recess in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle seat.
[0034] The recess can be U-shaped. In particular, the recess can have the shape of a lying U.
[0035] In an exemplary embodiment of the motor vehicle seat according to the invention, the recess in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle seat is shorter than the first guide track.
[0036] In a preferred embodiment of the motor vehicle seat according to the invention, the recess in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle seat is shorter than the straight section of the second guide track.
[0037] The locking arrangement may include a locking element that secures the seat structure in the operating position against forward adjustment in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle seat.
[0038] The locking element prevents, for example, the locking bolt from shifting relative to the recess in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0039] The locking element is adjustable, for example, between a locked position and a released position. In the locked position, the locking bolt is secured in the recess, particularly when moved longitudinally along the vehicle seat. In the released position, the locking bolt can be removed from or inserted into the recess.
[0040] In the locked position, the locking element can close the opening of the recess.
[0041] The seat structure can be manually adjusted between the usage position and the entry position.
[0042] In an exemplary embodiment, the motor vehicle seat according to the invention comprises a drive unit. By means of the drive unit, the seat structure is automatically adjustable between the usage position and the entry position.
[0043] The drive unit, for example, has a drive bolt extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat, which is rotatably fixed to the seat structure. The drive bolt can be rotated by means of a motor.
[0044] The drive bolt can rest on the top of the side element in such a way that, by rotating the drive bolt, the seat structure can be adjusted between the usage position and the entry position, i.e., the drive bolt transmits its rotational movement to the seat structure, causing the seat structure to undergo an adjustment movement.
[0045] Alternatively, the first side element can include a drive recess in which the drive bolt is arranged in such a way that the seat structure can be adjusted between the operating position and the entry position by rotating the drive bolt.
[0046] The drive bolt may include a gear that meshes with a toothing on the top of the side element or with a toothing on a wall defining the second recess.
[0047] The upper side element may, particularly in the area where the drive bolt is movable, comprise a straight section and a curved section adjacent to the straight section at the front in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle seat.
[0048] The curved section can extend forwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat and downwards in the vertical direction of the vehicle seat, starting from the straight section of the upper part of the side element.
[0049] This ensures contact between the drive bolt and the top of the side element during both translational and rotational movement of the seat structure.
[0050] The second recess can include a straight section and a curved section adjacent to the straight section at the front in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle seat.
[0051] The curved section can extend forwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat and downwards in the vertical direction of the vehicle seat, starting from the straight section of the second recess.
[0052] Therefore, contact between the drive bolt and the wall defining the second recess is ensured during both the translational and rotational movement of the seat structure.
[0053] The curved section can have the shape of a circular arc.
[0054] The center of the circular arc is, for example, the axis of rotation around which the seat structure can pivot, i.e., the first guide pin, if the second guide pin is located in the circular arc section of the second guide track.
[0055] The seat structure mounting, in particular the side element, can be attached to a seat rail which is fixed to the floor of the motor vehicle and / or can be fixed to the floor of the motor vehicle.
[0056] In a preferred embodiment, the vehicle seat according to the invention comprises a further cam guide as described above. The further cam guide is arranged on a side of the seat element opposite the cam guide in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat.
[0057] The further cam track can be designed to be mirror-symmetrical to the cam track with respect to a longitudinal center plane of a motor vehicle seat.
[0058] In an exemplary embodiment, the motor vehicle seat according to the invention comprises a further locking arrangement as described above. This further locking arrangement is located on a side of the seat element opposite the locking arrangement in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle seat.
[0059] The further locking arrangement can be designed in a mirror-symmetrical manner relative to the locking arrangement with respect to a longitudinal center plane of a motor vehicle seat.
[0060] The vehicle seat may include a further drive unit as described above. This further drive unit may be arranged on the side of the seat element opposite the drive unit in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat.
[0061] The additional drive unit can be designed to be mirror-symmetrical to the drive unit with respect to a longitudinal center plane of the vehicle seat.
[0062] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. It shows: Fig. 1 a side view of a motor vehicle seat according to the invention in a position of use, comprising a side element; Fig. 2 a side view of the motor vehicle seat Figure 1 in an intermediate position; Fig. 3 a side view of the motor vehicle seat Figure 1 in an entry-level position; and Fig. 4A detailed view of an alternative page element.
[0063] In the Figures 1 to 3 A motor vehicle seat 2 according to the invention is shown. The motor vehicle seat 2 comprises a seat structure 4 with a seat element 6 and a backrest 8, a motor vehicle seat structure mount, a cam guide 10, a locking arrangement 26 and a drive arrangement.
[0064] The seat structure 4 is connected by means of the cam guide 10 and the drive arrangement between a in Figure 1 depicted usage position via a in Figure 2 shown intermediate position in a Figure 3 The entry position shown is adjustable.
[0065] The cam track 10 serves to guide the adjustment movement. The adjustment movement can be automated by means of the drive assembly.
[0066] In the operating position, the seat element 6 is essentially horizontal, allowing an occupant to sit on the seat structure 4. In the intermediate position, the seat structure 4 is shifted forward in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat from the operating position. If, in addition to this forward shift in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat (i.e., the shift of the seat structure 4 into the intermediate position), the seat structure 4 is pivoted forward and upward about a rotation axis extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat, the seat structure 4 is in the entry position. In the entry position, a space is created between the seat structure 4 and a rear edge of a door opening 44, allowing access to an area located behind the vehicle seat 2.
[0067] To enable such an adjustment movement, the cam guide 10 comprises a first guide cam 12, a second guide cam 14, a first guide pin 16, and a second guide pin 18. The first guide cam 12 and the second guide cam 14 are each formed as a recess in a side element 24 of the vehicle seat structure mount. The side element 24 is located laterally next to the seat structure 4, in particular the seat element 6, in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat and is fixed to a longitudinal seat adjustment 46 of the vehicle seat 2, which in turn is fixed to a vehicle floor.
[0068] It is also conceivable that the motor vehicle seat structure mount includes a further side element which is arranged in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle seat on the side of the seat structure 4 opposite the first side element 24 and includes a further first guide track and a further second guide track in which a further first guide pin or a further second guide pin is arranged.
[0069] The first guide guide 12 is a recess extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. The first guide guide 12 is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat in front of the second guide guide 14.
[0070] The second guide track 14 comprises a straight section 20 and a curved, in particular circular arc section 22. The straight section 20 borders the circular arc section 22 at the rear in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. In particular, the circular arc section 22 transitions into the straight section 20. The circular arc section 22 extends upwards in a circular arc from the straight section 20 in the vertical direction of the vehicle seat and forwards in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0071] In the first guide track 12, a first guide pin 16 is slidably guided. The second guide track 14 slidably supports a second guide pin 18. The first guide pin 16 and the second guide pin 18 are each fixed to the seat structure 4 and extend in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat towards the side element 24.
[0072] The first guide track 12 and the straight section 20 of the second guide track 14 are of equal length in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. Therefore, when the second guide pin 18 is located at the rear of a wall defining the straight section 20 of the second guide track 14 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat, the first guide pin 16 is located at the rear of a wall defining the first guide track 12 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. Conversely, when the second guide pin 18 is located at the front of the wall defining the straight section 20 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat, the first guide pin 16 is also located at the front of the wall defining the first guide track 12 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat.
[0073] To move the first guide pin 16 in the first guide track 12 and the second guide pin 14 in the second guide track 18, the drive assembly includes a drive bolt 36. The drive bolt 36 is rotatably fixed to the seat structure 4 about an axis of rotation extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat. A toothed section (not shown) of the drive bolt 36 meshes with a toothed section (not shown) formed on the upper surface of the side element 24. Thus, when the drive bolt 36 is rotated by means of a motor, the seat structure is moved relative to the side element 24 and consequently relative to the vehicle floor.
[0074] When the seat structure 4 is moved from its operating position in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat, the first guide pin 16 and the second guide pin 18 abut the wall that defines the front boundary of the first guide track 12 and the straight section 20 of the second guide track 14 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat, respectively. This position is referred to as the intermediate position.
[0075] If the drive unit moves the seat structure 4 further forward in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat from the intermediate position, the seat structure 4 is pivoted about the axis of rotation extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat due to the arc segment 22 of the second guide track 14 and the second guide pin 18. The axis of rotation is defined by the first guide pin 16, i.e., the axis of rotation extends through the center point of the first guide pin 16.
[0076] To ensure that the teeth of the drive bolt 36 continuously mesh with the teeth formed on the upper surface of the side element 24, the upper surface of the side element 24 comprises a straight section and a circular arc section. The circular arc section adjoins the straight section at the front in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat such that the drive bolt 36 rests on the straight section of the side element 24 when the second guide pin 18 is located in the straight section 20 of the second guide track 14, and the drive bolt 36 rests on the circular arc section of the side element 24 when the second guide pin 18 is located in the circular arc section 22 of the second guide track 14. The center of the circular arc of the side element 24 lies at the center of the first guide pin 16.
[0077] To reduce the force acting on the first guide pin 16 and the second guide pin 18 in the operating position, particularly forward and upward, the vehicle seat 2 includes a locking arrangement 26. The locking arrangement 26 has a recess 30 and a locking bolt 28. To prevent the locking bolt 28 from being unintentionally removed from the recess, the locking arrangement 26 includes a safety element 32.
[0078] The recess 30 is formed at a rear end of the seat structure 4, in particular of the seat element 6, in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. The locking bolt 28 is fixed to the side element 24 and extends inwards in the transverse direction of the vehicle seat, i.e., towards the seat structure 4.
[0079] In the operating position of the seat structure 4, the locking bolt 28 is arranged in the recess 30 such that it rests against a wall defining the recess 30 at the front in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat and at the top and bottom in the vertical direction of the vehicle seat. Behind the locking bolt 28 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat, the securing element 32 is arranged in the operating position.
[0080] If the seat structure 4 is to be moved from the operating position towards the entry position, the locking element 32 behind the locking bolt 28 is removed. The recess 30 is open at the rear in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat and is shorter than the straight section 20 of the second guide pin 18. In particular, the recess 30 has the shape of a horizontal U. By moving the seat structure 4 forward in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat, the locking bolt 28 is removed from the recess 30, at the latest when the intermediate position is reached.
[0081] In Figure 4 An alternative page element 40 is shown, which replaces the one in the Figures 1 to 3 The page element 24 shown can be used. The alternative page element 40 essentially corresponds to page element 24 of the one shown in the Figures 1 to 3The motor vehicle seat shown in Figure 2. Therefore, only the distinguishing features will be explained below. The above statements regarding side element 24 apply accordingly to all other features.
[0082] While that in the Figures 1 to 3 The side element 24 shown is formed in one piece, the alternative side element 40 comprises a first side element 48 and a second side element 50 screwed to the first side element 48.
[0083] In the first side element 48, as in the side element 24, the first guide track 12 and the second guide track 14 are formed.
[0084] The second side element 50 includes a drive recess 38 in which the drive bolt 36 is guided. A wall defining the drive recess 38 includes a toothed section with which the teeth of the drive bolt 36 mesh.
[0085] At the in Figure 4The side element 40 shown provides guidance for the drive bolt 38, unlike the one shown in the Figures 1 to 3 The side element 24 shown is located on the top side of the side element 40, but in the drive recess 38.
[0086] The drive recess 38 comprises a straight section and a circular arc-shaped section, which adjoins the straight section at the front in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat and extends forward in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat and downwards in the vertical direction of the vehicle seat from the straight section. The center of the circular arc-shaped section is the center of the first guide pin 16 when the seat structure 4 is arranged in the intermediate position, in the entry position, or in a position between the intermediate position and the entry position.
[0087] It is also conceivable that this in Figure 4 The side element 40 shown is formed in one piece. Reference symbol list:
