AI Technical Summary
Existing open-end spinning devices face challenges in accurately positioning the thread take-off nozzle relative to the spinning rotor, particularly due to manufacturing tolerances and wear-related changes, which affect the quality of the spun yarn.
An adjustable stop mechanism is integrated into the open-end spinning device, allowing for precise axial positioning of the cover element and thread take-off nozzle relative to the spinning rotor, compensating for tolerances and wear, using an adjustable screw or axially movable stop that can be easily accessed for adjustment.
This solution ensures accurate alignment of the thread take-off nozzle with the rotor groove, enhancing yarn quality by allowing for precise adjustment and compensation of positional deviations, even after assembly, and preventing unauthorized adjustments.
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to an open-end spinning device for an open-end spinning machine with a drivable spinning rotor whose rotor cup is accommodated in a rotor housing, with a drive for the spinning rotor arranged in a drive housing, and with at least one receptacle for a cover element that closes the rotor housing during spinning. The open-end spinning device has a stop for the cover element for positioning the cover element in the axial direction of the spinning rotor. Furthermore, the invention relates to an open-end spinning machine with a plurality of adjacent workstations, each of which has such an open-end spinning device.
[0002] CN 100 359 061 C discloses an open-end spinning device in which the cover element of the rotor housing is designed as a pivoting housing. A feed roller, an opening roller, and a fiber feed channel of the open-end spinning device are also arranged on this pivoting housing and can be pivoted together with the cover element. The cover element is held in the closed position by a locking device. The cover element contains a seal for the rotor housing.
[0003] Various designs have become known for attaching the open-end spinning devices to a machine frame of the open-end spinning machine.
[0004] GB 1 519 705 A describes an open-end spinning device in which the spinning rotor and the opening roller are rotatably mounted in a bearing housing. The bearing housing, in turn, is secured in a support bushing of a housing of the open-end spinning device by means of a pressure bracket.
[0005] The housings of the open-end spinning devices are attached to a machine frame.
[0006] In open-end rotor spinning machines, it is always necessary to correctly position the yarn take-off nozzle relative to the spinning rotor when the rotor housing is closed. This applies both to the positioning of the yarn take-off nozzle in the axial direction of the spinning rotor and to the radial positioning, or centering, of the yarn take-off nozzle and rotor relative to each other. It has become known to have the cover element, which supports the yarn take-off nozzle, abut against the rotor housing via a ring seal, thus positioning the cover element relative to the rotor housing.
[0007] From DE 10 2006 019 224 A1, it is also known to arrange a stop on a bearing support in a spinning rotor mounted on support disks. When the rotor housing is closed, the cover element rests against the stop. This ensures that only a few components are located between the spinning rotor and the yarn take-off nozzle, which, due to their tolerances, influence their position.
[0008] A stop for a cover element of an open-end spinning device is also known from EP 3 578 700 A2. The stop is arranged on the cover element and is supported on an arm of a spin box frame arranged laterally and below the rotor housing, which also forms a pivot axis for the cover element. The stop can also be adjustable.
[0009] DE 10 2016 003 148 A1 also discloses an open-end spinning device with a spinning rotor driven by a single motor. A centering device is provided that ensures that the components of the open-end spinning device are always precisely positioned relative to one another when the cover element is closed. Furthermore, an axial stop is provided for a channel plate adapter arranged in the cover element, which is designed as an annular wall of an annular groove. This axially positions the channel plate adapter, which carries the take-off nozzle, relative to the spinning rotor.
[0010] The object of the present invention is to propose an open-end spinning device with improved axial positioning of the components of the spinning device relative to one another. Furthermore, a corresponding open-end spinning machine is to be proposed.
[0011] The problem is solved with the features of the independent patent claims.
[0012] An open-end spinning device for an open-end spinning machine comprises a drivable spinning rotor whose rotor cup is accommodated in a rotor housing, a drive for the spinning rotor arranged in a drive housing, and at least one receptacle for a cover element that closes the rotor housing during spinning. The rotor housing has a stop for the cover element for positioning the cover element in the axial direction of the spinning rotor, the stop being adjustable.
[0013] Furthermore, an open-end spinning machine with a plurality of adjacently arranged work stations is proposed, each of which has such an open-end spinning device.
[0014] The stop ensures that the take-off nozzle, which is accommodated in the cover element, and the rotor cup of the spinning rotor are automatically correctly positioned relative to one another when the cover element is closed. In particular, this allows the take-off nozzle to be correctly aligned in the axial direction of the spinning rotor relative to the rotor groove when the cover element is closed, which is of considerable importance for the quality of the spun yarn. Because the stop is now adjustable, it is possible to always set the correct position of the take-off nozzle in relation to the rotor cup, in particular the rotor groove, in terms of spinning technology. This makes it possible, for example, to set slightly different axial positions of the take-off nozzle depending on the application. It is also possible to compensate for component tolerances that influence the relative position of the take-off nozzle and spinning rotor. Such tolerances can occur despite precise component manufacturing.Furthermore, a wear-related change in the position of the cover element and thus of the discharge nozzle relative to the spinning rotor can be compensated.
[0015] It is also advantageous if the stop is designed as an adjusting screw. This allows for very simple, convenient, and precise adjustment. This allows even minor deviations from the ideal axial position of the yarn take-off nozzle relative to the spinning rotor to be compensated. It is also conceivable to construct the stop in two parts, with a threaded part that is adjustably arranged in the rotor housing and a stop that can be inserted into or attached to the threaded part.
[0016] Instead of a set screw, an axially movable and lockable stop would still be possible. For example, a spring-loaded pin could be clamped laterally, i.e., on its circumferential surface, and thus determine the axial position of the cover element.
[0017] It is particularly advantageous if the adjusting screw is positioned parallel to the axis of the spinning rotor. This allows for a space-efficient arrangement. However, to achieve a more precise adjustment of the stop, it is also conceivable to position the adjusting screw at an angle to the axis of the spinning rotor.
[0018] It is advantageous if the stop, in particular the adjusting screw, is adjustable from the front side of the rotor housing facing the cover element. The stop is thus accessible at any time after opening the rotor housing or after transferring the cover element to a maintenance position, even after initial assembly of the open-end spinning device.
[0019] It is also advantageous if the adjusting screw has an adjusting head, preferably a special head, particularly preferably a star-shaped special head. In this case, the adjusting head forms the stop for the cover element. If the adjusting screw has a special head, such as a star-shaped adjusting head, a triangular head, or similar, the adjusting screw can be secured against unauthorized adjustment. If the adjusting screw is adjustable from the rear, i.e. from the rear of the rotor housing facing away from the cover element, or from the side, an adjusting head is of course not necessarily required. The adjusting screw does not necessarily have to have a head either.
[0020] Alternatively or additionally, it is advantageous if the adjusting screw can be adjusted from the rear of the rotor housing facing away from the cover element. This adjustment option is no longer accessible once the open-end spinning device has been installed in the machine. This also prevents unauthorized adjustment of the stop or the adjusting screw. In addition, this design offers the possibility of quick initial adjustment after assembly of the open-end spinning device, before it is installed in the machine. It is therefore also particularly advantageous if the adjusting screw can be adjusted both from the front of the rotor housing facing the cover element and from the rear of the rotor housing facing away from the cover element. The open-end spinning device thus offers both an adjustment option for initial assembly from the rear of the rotor housing and an adjustment option from the front, which is also accessible during operation of the open-end spinning device.
[0021] It is also advantageous if the rotor housing and / or the drive housing have an adjustment channel for adjusting the adjusting screw from the rear of the rotor housing. This allows the adjusting screw to be short while still being accessible through the adjustment channel.
[0022] It is also advantageous if the adjusting screw has a polygonal socket, particularly a hexagon socket, at the end facing away from the adjustment head. This allows for quick adjustment of the stop without the need for special tools.
[0023] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the adjusting screw is secured in the rotor housing with a locking element, in particular an O-ring, and is clamped against the rotor housing. This prevents unintentional adjustment of the adjusting screw during operation. Alternatively, securing with a lock nut, an adhesive lock, or a lock washer would also be conceivable.
[0024] Furthermore, it is advantageous if the at least one receptacle for the cover element defines a pivot axis, and the cover element is pivotably received in the receptacles of the rotor housing about the pivot axis. A pivotable design of the cover element particularly advantageously enables the cover element to be moved from an operating position, in which it closes the rotor housing, to a maintenance position, in which it allows access to the rotor housing.
[0025] It is also advantageous if the stop is arranged in a region of the rotor housing facing away from the at least one receptacle for the cover element, in particular at an end region of the rotor housing opposite the at least one receptacle. The stop is thus located at a greater vertical distance from the pivot axis of the cover element, which facilitates adjustment.
[0026] It is also advantageous if the stop is positioned as close as possible to a rotational axis of the spinning rotor, or if it is positioned directly in a vertical symmetry axis of the spinning rotor, which also includes the rotational axis of the spinning rotor. This also contributes to the most precise adjustment possible.
[0027] It is also advantageous if the spinning rotor can be driven by a separate drive located in the drive housing. This allows the open-end spinning device to be operated independently of other open-end spinning devices and, if necessary, to provide additional separate drives at the spinning stations to make the spinning stations self-sufficient.
[0028] It is advantageous if the rotor housing is directly connected to the drive housing. For example, the rotor housing can be screwed directly to the drive housing. This allows the correct alignment of the drive with respect to the spinning rotor's axis to be achieved without any adjustment work.
[0029] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the rotor housing is formed integrally with the drive housing. This eliminates the need for additional assembly work to attach the drive housing to the rotor housing. Furthermore, this also ensures the correct alignment of the drive with respect to the axis of the spinning rotor. This is particularly advantageous if additional functions, such as a bearing point for a magnetic bearing, are integrated into the drive housing and / or the rotor housing, because these are then also precisely aligned with respect to the spinning rotor without any adjustment work.
[0030] Additionally or alternatively, it is advantageous if the at least one receptacle for the cover element is formed integrally with the rotor housing. This significantly improves the positioning accuracy of the fiber feed channel arranged in the cover element and the take-off nozzle in relation to the spinning rotor. The one-piece design allows the machining of the rotor housing, in particular the attachment of stop surfaces and fastening points or bores, to be carried out in a single setup. This always ensures an absolutely precise position of the components attached to the rotor housing, in particular the cover element, in relation to the spinning rotor. This not only simplifies the assembly of the open-end spinning device, but is also particularly advantageous from a spinning technology perspective and has a positive effect on yarn quality.
[0031] It is particularly advantageous if the rotor housing is designed as a cast part, with the drive housing and / or the receptacles for the cover element being cast integrally onto the rotor housing. This allows the rotor housing to be manufactured particularly cost-effectively as a central support element. It is particularly advantageous if the rotor housing is designed as a die-cast part. This enables the rotor housing to be manufactured with great precision. If necessary, the final machining can be performed in a single setup, as already described.
[0032] It is also advantageous if the rotor housing has several, particularly two, receptacles for the cover element. This further improves the positioning of the cover element and the components arranged thereon, such as the fiber feed channel and take-off nozzle, relative to the spinning rotor. A design with only a single receptacle, which is then preferably wider, is also conceivable. The following explanations and the description of the figures therefore expressly refer to a rotor housing with only one receptacle.
[0033] It is further advantageous if the rotor housing has integrally molded fastening devices, in particular integrally molded spacer bushings, for attachment to the machine frame. This further facilitates the assembly of the rotor housing to the machine frame and ensures correct positioning of the open-end spinning device with respect to the cross-machine direction.
[0034] It is also advantageous if the cover element includes a preferably integrally formed opening roller housing. This automatically positions the opening roller housing, and thus the opening roller, correctly relative to the spinning device or rotor housing. It is therefore also particularly advantageous if the opening roller housing is formed integrally with the cover element.
[0035] In order to be able to produce the cover element with the opening roller housing cost-effectively, it is also advantageous here if the cover element is designed as a cast part, wherein the opening roller housing is cast in one piece onto the cover element.
[0036] According to another embodiment, it is advantageous if the rotor housing has at least one positioning device for positioning the cover element in the axial direction of the pivot axis. This automatically moves the cover element into the correct lateral position relative to the pivot axis upon closing and fixes it in this correct position when the cover element is closed.
[0037] It is advantageous if the positioning device is cast directly onto the rotor housing. This eliminates the need for an additional assembly step for the positioning device, and the correct lateral alignment of the cover element with respect to the spinning rotor is always ensured. The positioning device is preferably fork-shaped. This ensures that the cover element is correctly positioned in both axial directions of the oscillation axis.
[0038] It is also advantageous if the positioning device has a plastic coating. This can, for example, dampen noise when closing the lid element and ensure a smooth closing action when positioning the lid element.
[0039] Further advantages of the invention are described with reference to the following exemplary embodiments. They show: Figure 1 an open-end spinning machine in a schematic overview, Figure 2 a workstation of an open-end spinning machine with an open-end spinning device in a schematic, partially sectioned side view, Figure 3 an open-end spinning device with a stop for a cover element of the rotor housing in a schematic, sectional side view, Figure 4an open-end spinning device with a stop for a cover element of the rotor housing in a schematic, sectional side view according to an alternative embodiment, Figure 5 another alternative embodiment of an open-end spinning device with a stop for a cover element of the rotor housing in a schematic, sectional side view, Figure 6 an embodiment of a rotor housing, which is designed as a central support part, in a perspective view, Figure 7 an alternative embodiment of a rotor housing, which is designed as a central support part, in a perspective view, and Figure 8 a positioning device for the cover element in a schematic plan view.
[0040] In the following description of the exemplary embodiments, identical features or features that are at least comparable in their design and / or mode of operation are provided with the same reference numerals. Furthermore, these features are only explained in detail when they are first mentioned, while the following exemplary embodiments only address the differences from the previously described exemplary embodiments. Furthermore, for reasons of clarity, often only one or a few of several identical components or features are labeled.
[0041] Figure 1shows a schematic front view of an open-end spinning machine 2. The open-end spinning machine 2 has, in a manner known per se, a plurality of adjacently arranged work stations 34, which can be arranged on one or both longitudinal sides of the open-end spinning machine 2 between two frames 33. Each of the work stations 34 has, in a manner also known, an opening roller 9 for opening a supplied fiber material 25 (see Figure 2 ) into individual fibers and an open-end spinning device 1 for spinning the fiber material 25 into a thread 26. The spun thread 26 is then drawn off by means of a take-off device 27 and wound onto a bobbin 29 by means of a winding device 28. To control the processes on the open-end spinning machine 2, the spinning machine further comprises a control unit 35, which can interact with further control units 35 (not shown) arranged at the individual work stations 34.
[0042] Figure 2 shows a detailed representation of a work station 34 of such an open-end spinning machine 2 in a partially sectioned side view. As already Figure 1 As described, the fiber material 25 is fed to the open-end spinning device 1 and dissolved into individual fibers by means of the opening roller 9 and from there fed to the open-end spinning device 1 through a fiber feed channel not shown here.
[0043] The open-end spinning device typically comprises a spinning rotor 3, the rotor cup 4 of which rotates in a rotor housing 6 and the rotor shaft 5 of which is rotatably mounted in a drive housing 7. The spinning rotor 3 is driven by a drive 8, which is also arranged in the drive housing 7, and is mounted in a bearing arrangement 16. The drive can be used either as a single drive (see Fig. 5 and 7 ) as well as a central drive with a tangential belt 46 (see Fig. 8) must be executed.
[0044] The bearing arrangement 16 includes a front radial bearing 17 and a rear radial bearing 18. The radial bearings can be designed as magnetic bearings (see Fig. 5 and 7 ) as well as conventional support disc bearings (see Fig. 8 ). Furthermore, the spinning rotor 3 is supported axially by an axial bearing 19, which can also be designed as a magnetic bearing, but also as an air bearing or other bearing. The rotor housing 6 and the drive housing 7 are fixed to a machine frame 12 of the open-end spinning machine 2.
[0045] The rotor housing 6 is subjected to negative pressure during spinning operation, for which purpose it is connected to a negative pressure channel 31 via a negative pressure connection 30. During spinning operation, the rotor housing 6 is closed with a cover element 11, which in the present case is pivotally mounted about a pivot axis 20 in receptacles 10 of the open-end spinning device 1. To open the rotor housing 6, the cover element 11 can thus be pivoted from the closed or operating position shown in solid lines into the open or maintenance position shown in dash-dotted lines. The cover element 11 is provided with an extension 36 carrying a thread take-off nozzle 37, which protrudes into the rotor cup 4 of the spinning rotor 3 during spinning operation. The newly spun thread 26 is drawn off via the thread take-off nozzle 37. The extension 36 can also, as in Figure 5shown, be designed as a replaceable channel plate adapter arranged in the cover element 11. In the present case, the cover element 11 also carries the opening roller 9, so that it is formed integrally with an opening roller housing 21.
[0046] Figure 3shows an open-end spinning device 1 in a schematic, sectional side view. In this embodiment, the rotor housing 6 contains not only the housing for the spinning rotor 3 but also the drive housing 7 and the receptacles 10 for the cover element 11. The receptacles 10 in this case contain bores in which the cover element 11 is pivotally mounted and which thus form a pivot axis 20 for the cover element 11. According to this embodiment, the cover element 11 also contains the opening roller housing 21, which is integrally formed on the cover element 11 and is pivotally mounted on the receptacles 10 of the rotor housing 6, for example by means of tabs 38. The opening roller housing 21 can, however, also be designed as a separate component and connected to the cover element 11. Also visible is the extension 36 of the cover element 11, which in this case is designed as a channel plate adapter that can be inserted into the cover element 11.
[0047] According to the present illustration, the spinning rotor 3 is also shown in its operating position accommodated in the rotor housing 6. The rotor cup 4 is located within the rotor housing 6, while the rotor shaft 5 is located within the drive housing 7 adjacent to the rotor housing 6.
[0048] Furthermore, the front radial bearing 17 of the bearing arrangement 16, which is designed here as a magnetic bearing arrangement, can also be seen in the present illustration. The drive housing 7 and thus the rotor housing 6 connected to it have the front bearing point 15 for the front radial bearing 17. For this purpose, fastening holes 32 are provided in the drive housing 7, which enable fastening of the front radial bearing 17. According to the present illustration, the drive housing 7 also has fastening holes 32, which enable fastening of the drive 8, which is designed here as a single drive. The rear radial bearing 18 (not visible here) can, for example, be fastened in a cover element 11 that can be inserted into the drive housing 7. Alternatively, however, it would also be possible to fasten the rear radial bearing 18 directly in the drive housing 7.Deviating from the illustration shown, it would also be possible to provide a central drive for the spinning rotor 3 instead of a single drive. Likewise, a support disk bearing or a direct bearing could be provided instead of the magnetic bearing arrangement.
[0049] The three components, rotor housing 6, drive housing 7, and receptacles 10, are formed as a single piece. They can therefore advantageously be formed as a very compact cast part that combines the aforementioned functions in one component and also enables the integration of numerous other functions or components of the open-end spinning device 1. According to an alternative embodiment, the rotor housing 6 and the drive housing 7 could also be formed as separate components. The same applies to the receptacles 7. However, it is particularly advantageous with the one-piece design that all functional and contact surfaces as well as fastening devices, such as bores and the like, can be introduced in a single clamping of the rotor housing 6. In other words, the rotor housing 6 only needs to be clamped once for machining. All machining steps can then be performed on the rotor housing 6 without re-clamping it. This ensures an extremely precise position of the opening roller housing 21 or the cover element 11 relative to the rotor housing 6. Due to its design as a cast part and its machining in a single clamping, the rotor housing 6 can be manufactured very cost-effectively despite the precise manufacturing process.
[0050] Thanks to the precise design, the cover element 11 with the extension 36 and the yarn take-off nozzle 37 can be positioned very precisely relative to the spinning rotor. Complex adjustment work on the open-end spinning device 1 can be eliminated thanks to the one-piece design of the rotor housing 6 with the drive housing 7 and the receptacles 10.
[0051] To further support the precise positioning of the cover element 11 relative to the rotor housing 6, a stop 22 is also provided. This stop 22 allows the cover element 11, and thus the yarn take-off nozzle 37, to be correctly positioned relative to the axial direction of the spinning rotor 3 or relative to the rotor groove during closing or in its closed position. The position of the yarn take-off nozzle 37 relative to the rotor groove can influence the properties of the spun yarn 26 and should therefore be adjusted as precisely as possible. This achieves significant spinning-technological advantages, and a high-quality yarn can be produced.
[0052] The stop 22 is designed here as an adjusting screw 42, which is arranged axially parallel to the axis of the spinning rotor 3. The actual stop 22 is formed by an adjusting head 43 of the adjusting screw 42, which at the same time also enables the convenient adjustment of the adjusting screw 42. Preferably, the stop 22 or the adjusting screw 42 is arranged centrally of the open-end spinning device 1 above the axis of the spinning rotor 3, such as the Figures 6 and 7 removable.
[0053] It is further advantageous if, as shown here, the stop 22 is arranged in a region of the rotor housing 6 facing away from the receptacles 10 for the cover element 11. For example, in the present case, the stop 22 is arranged in an end region 39 of the rotor housing 6 opposite the receptacles 10. The stop 22 or the adjusting screw is thus at a large vertical distance from the pivot axis 20, which facilitates the adjustment of the stop 22. By means of such an adjustable stop 22, the distance between the yarn take-off nozzle 37 and the spinning rotor 3 can be adjusted in various ways and, for example, adapted to the spinning technology conditions of a specific application.
[0054] The stop 22 or the adjusting screw 42 is adjustable from a front side of the rotor housing facing the cover element. This makes it possible to initially determine the position of the cover element 11 relative to the rotor housing 6 after the initial assembly of the cover element 11, thereby taking into account any tolerances that may arise during the installation of the bearing assembly 16 and the mounting of the spinning rotor 3. This arrangement also makes it possible to fine-tune, readjust, or adapt the stop 22 to different applications even after the open-end spinning device 1 has been put into operation.
[0055] In order to prevent the stop 22, here the adjusting screw, from being accidentally adjusted during operation, the adjusting screw can also be clamped against the rotor housing 6 with an O-ring 40 as shown here or secured with another screw locking agent.
[0056] It can also be provided that after the initial adjustment of the stop 22, it should no longer be adjusted. If the stop 22 is designed as an adjusting screw 42, it can also be secured against unauthorized adjustment, for example. Screws with a star-shaped or other special-shaped head are also conceivable.
[0057] The adjustment option for the axial position of the cover element 11 shown here has the advantage that the adjusting screw 42 is accessible even after the open-end spinning device 1 has been installed in the open-end spinning machine 2. To adjust the stop 22, the rotor housing 6 must be opened or the cover element 11 must be moved to its maintenance position, but it must be closed again to check the axial position of the spinning rotor 3. The adjustment and inspection process may therefore have to be repeated several times.
[0058] In order to avoid repeated opening and closing of the rotor housing 6 during adjustment, it would also be conceivable, according to an alternative embodiment not shown here, to perform the adjustment of the axial position of the cover element 11 directly during the measurement of the axial position of the spinning rotor 3 with the rotor housing 6 closed. The cover element 11 could be provided with a through-opening for an adjustment tool. If, as in Figure 3As shown, the stop 22 is outside the seal of the rotor housing 6, so the through-hole does not need to be sealed separately. Likewise, an externally adjustable adjustment mechanism, which could be designed, for example, in the manner of a spindle drive with an externally operable spindle nut, could be arranged in the rotor housing. Of course, other externally operable adjustment mechanisms are also conceivable. For example, instead of an adjusting screw, a spring-loaded pin could be provided. When the clamp is released, this pin would initially be pushed completely "outwards" by the spring force, i.e., toward the cover element, and could then be pushed back toward the rotor housing with the cover element closed while the measurement is ongoing. Once the desired position is reached, the pin could be clamped and thus fixed by a lateral clamp on its circumferential surface.
[0059] Figure 4shows, in contrast, another embodiment of an open-end spinning device in which, in addition to the previously described adjustment option using the adjustment head 43 of the adjusting screw 42, the stop 22 can also be adjusted from a rear side of the rotor housing 6 facing away from the cover element 11. In the present example, the adjusting screw 42 has a polygon socket 44 at its end facing away from the adjustment head 43. In the present case, the polygon socket 44 is designed as a hexagon socket. This can simply be inserted into the rear end of the adjusting screw 42 and therefore requires no additional space. In order to allow access to the rear end of the adjusting screw 42, which is located in the region of the front side of the rotor housing 6 facing the cover element 11, the rotor housing 6, which here is formed integrally with the drive housing 7, has an adjustment channel 45.This extends from the adjusting screw 42 to the rear end of the rotor housing 6 or the drive housing 7 molded onto it, facing away from the cover element 11, and allows the insertion of an adjustment tool. Thus, the adjusting screw 42 can be adjusted from the rear of the rotor housing 6.
[0060] Once the open-end spinning device 1 is mounted in the open-end spinning machine 2, the adjustment channel 45 and the rear end of the adjusting screw 42 are no longer accessible. This adjustment option is therefore advantageous for quickly adjusting the axial position of the cover element 11 during pre-assembly of the open-end spinning device 1. The advantage here is that this can be done in a single step when the open-end spinning device 1 is closed or when the cover element is in the operating position.
[0061] In principle, it is also conceivable to provide only the adjustment option from the rear side of the rotor housing 6, facing away from the cover element 11. This allows for adjustment of the axial position of the cover element 11 ex works; in this case, a readjustment option is not provided, or the open-end spinning device 1 would first have to be dismantled from the open-end spinning machine 2. It is therefore particularly advantageous if, as shown here, adjustment is possible from both the front and the rear.
[0062] Furthermore, the design of the open-end spinning device 1 corresponds to that of the Figure 3 and therefore not explained in more detail. Fig. 3 The modifications mentioned are also possible with this version.
[0063] Figure 5 shows a further embodiment of an open-end spinning device 1, in which, as in Figure 4described, adjustment is possible from both the front and the rear of the rotor housing 6 or the drive housing 7. However, in contrast to the illustration shown, it would also be possible to provide only the adjustment option from the rear of the rotor housing 6 facing away from the cover element 11. The adjusting screw 42 and the related structure of the rotor housing 6 or the drive housing 7 with the adjustment channel 45 correspond to those of Fig. 4 and are therefore not explained in more detail.
[0064] In contrast to Figure 4 Here, the rotor housing 6 and the drive housing 7 are designed as separate components. Although tolerances between the two components may influence the position of the cover element 11 in this design, this does not pose any disadvantages due to the possibility of adjusting the axial position of the cover element 11 or the thread take-off nozzle 37 using the stop 22.
[0065] Furthermore, in deviation from the Figures 3 and 4 the bearing arrangement 16 is designed here as a support disc bearing and the drive 8 is designed as a central drive with a tangential belt 46.
[0066] Furthermore, the design of the open-end spinning device 1 corresponds to that of the Figure 4 and therefore not explained in detail again. Figures 3 and 4 The modifications mentioned are also possible with this version.
[0067] The adjustable stop 22 can also be used advantageously in such an open-end spinning device 1.
[0068] In the statements of the Figures 3 - 5 It is generally advantageous if the stop 22, as in the Figures 6 and 7As can be seen, the stop 22 has the smallest possible horizontal distance from a rotational axis (not designated) of the spinning rotor 3. The term "horizontal" refers to a width direction of the open-end spinning device 1 or the rotor housing 6, in which the pivot axis 20 also extends. This also contributes to the most precise adjustment possible. In the illustrated embodiments, the stop 22 is therefore arranged directly in the vertical axis of symmetry of the spinning rotor 3, which passes through the rotational axis of the spinning rotor 3.
[0069] Figure 6 further shows an embodiment of a rotor housing 6, which is designed as a central support part, which is fixed by means of fastening devices, such as fastening holes 32, to a machine frame 12 (see Figure 2) and on which further components of the open-end spinning device 2 can be arranged. The rotor housing 6 contains, in addition to the housing for the spinning rotor 3 (see Figure 2 ) also the drive housing 7 and the receptacles 10 for the cover element 11. The receptacles 10 contain bores in which the cover element 11 is pivotally mounted and which thus form a pivot axis 20 for the cover element 11. The stop 22 and, in particular, the central position of the stop 22 with respect to an axis of the spinning rotor 3 are clearly visible here. Furthermore, the vacuum connection 30 is also visible.
[0070] Figure 7 shows another embodiment of such a rotor housing 6. In contrast to the rotor housing 6 of Figure 6The present rotor housing 6 has a cast-on, circumferential frame 14, which contains the receptacles 10 for the opening roller housing 21 and the cover element 11, respectively. The two receptacles 10 are connected by a cross brace. The frame 14 is thus formed by the two receptacles 10 and, in this case, a cross brace. The rotor housing 6 thus has a particularly high degree of rigidity, which further supports the precise positioning of the cover element 11 with respect to the rotor housing 6 with the spinning rotor 3.
[0071] The fastening devices for the rotor housing 6 are Figure 4 Spacer bushings 13 are cast directly onto the rotor housing 6. The spacer bushings 13 enable direct screwing to a vertical wall of the machine frame 12 (see Figure 2). This facilitates the attachment of the rotor housing 6 to the open-end spinning device 1. Of course, such spacer bushings 13 can also be used on the rotor housing 6 of the Figure 3 be cast in order to position the rotor housing 6 correctly on the machine frame 12.
[0072] A positioning device 23 can also be seen on the rotor housing 6 shown here. By means of the positioning device 23, the cover element 11 can be positioned in a correct position with respect to a direction transverse to the axis of the spinning rotor 3, in this case in the width direction of the rotor housing 6, when closed. In other words, by means of the positioning device 23, the cover element 11 is correctly positioned in the axial direction of the pivot axis 20 with respect to the rotor housing 6 and thus the spinning rotor 3. The positioning device 23 can, as shown here, contain only one positioning element 41. This can, for example, be encompassed by a fork-shaped counterpart (not shown) on the cover element 11, whereby the cover element 11 is clearly positioned.
[0073] Alternatively, it would also be conceivable to arrange a second positioning element 41 or a second positioning device 23 at a distance from the illustrated positioning device 23 in order to securely position the cover element 11 in both axial directions of the pivot axis 20. The positioning device 23 is also advantageously cast directly onto the rotor housing 6, thereby ensuring the correct positioning of the cover element 11 at all times without the need for adjustment. Likewise, the cast-on positioning device 23 further reduces the assembly effort for the rotor housing 6 or the open-end spinning device 1.
[0074] In Figure 8 Furthermore, another embodiment of a positioning device 23 is shown in a schematic plan view. In contrast to the positioning device 23 of Figure 7The present positioning device 23 has two opposing positioning elements 41. In the present case, the positioning device 23 is thus fork-shaped. A corresponding counterpart (not shown) arranged on the cover element 11 then moves between the two positioning elements 41 when the cover element 11 is closed, as symbolized by the arrow, whereby the cover element 11 is again precisely positioned in both axial directions of the pivot axis 20 (see Figures 6 and 7 ). The positioning device 23 shown here also has a plastic coating 24, which is attached to each of the positioning elements 41. This further improves the positioning of the yarn take-off nozzle 37 with respect to the rotor cup 4 of the spinning rotor 3.
[0075] The present invention is not limited to the illustrated and described embodiments. Modifications within the scope of the patent claims are possible, as is any combination of the described features, even if they are illustrated and described in different parts of the description or the claims or in different embodiments, provided that no contradiction arises with the teaching of the independent claims.
